Conclusion :
Exhausted, Sir Lothar falls to his knees. We've done it. Finally King
Llane has been avenged! The orcs have been scattered to the winds. There
is nowhere left for them to run. Now it is King Terenas's turn to claim
  vengeance.
Mopping sweat and blood from his brow, Lothar approaches the Dark Portal
once more. That now-familiar tingling shoots through his body as he passes
  back into his own world.

"I want it all, Yaedik. And if you don't give it willingly, I will take it
  from you."
The scrawny man, dressed in torn clothing and unkempt hair, dark bruises
of purple-yellow on his arms and face, returns a cold stare but does not
answer. The chains about his ankles and wrists keep him bound to the prison
wall. Sire Uther Lightbringer had to assign a large number of guards inside
and out, to protect the prisoner from the wrath of Hillsbrad's citizens.
"Have it your way, then." Lothar moved closer to the captive.
Instinctively Yaedik flinched. Expecting another blow, he raised his arms
to cover his face. Lothar smiled as he gathered up the nearby stool in his
outstretched hand and placed it down to seat himself. "Much better."
The cowering man lowered his arm when he realised the beating wasn't coming.
At least, not yet. "Now, give me his name."
Yaedik's expression was defiant, but in his eyes there was a look of
hopelessness. "I cannot give you what you ask." He spat the words from
a swollen mouth. "The Rebellion will live on, even after I am dead!" he
shouted, but his words did not seem to have much conviction.
Lothar shook his head. "The Rebellion is no more. You have all been
betrayed by your benefactor. His cause was never the same as your own. You
have been used for his own purposes, Yaedik."
"You lie!" The chained man seemed to become smaller, backing up against the
  cell wall.
"You know I speak the truth. He has abandoned you here because he has no
further need of you. No doubt he would have killed you himself if there
weren't so many guards protecting you. Why hasn't he come to your rescue?"
Yaedik was silent for a while, eyes distant, averting Lothar's gaze. "And
if it is true, how will I benefit by telling you?! I will be left here to
rot either way. I must not betray the cause."
"No, Yaedik, it has sacrificed you all. You were simply pawns. Here is
your chance for vengeance. I cannot offer you freedom, but I can give you a
quick death. I can end your suffering, Yaedik, and that of your betrayed
brothers who cry restlessly from their graves. The decision is yours. Now,
finally, you know. You feel the truth in your heart and it burns to the
  core."
Small sobs began to shiver through his ravaged body, which soon became great
racking cries. Patiently Lothar waited for them to subside. Through tear-
filled eyes, Yaedik looked up at Lothar. "His name... He is..."
There was a knocking on the door. Lothar ignored it. Yaedik's features
  were suddenly filled with fear.
Anduin Lothar anxiously prompted him. "Yes, his name...?"
The captive's eyes were fixed on the door. It opened.
A guard stepped through. "Excuse me, M' Lord, but King Eryll Terenas
himself desires to speak with the prisoner. Alone."
Lothar turned back, desparate. "Redeem yourself Yaedik! Give me the name!"
But Yaedik was clearly terrified. He began to mumble to himself, "..for the
Rebellion..," over and over. The guard put a hand under Sir Lothar's arm,
raising him from the stool and taking him out of the door.
He held his hands out, pleading, but the leader of the Rebellion did not see
  him.

"Guards! Guards!!" The King cried out loudly from within the cell.
Immediately the door was thrown open to reveal a body slumped over, blood
pooling on the floor. "He attacked me! The wretch tried to kill me!"
A dagger protruded from the dead body.
Lothar looked on in horror, which shortly became an expression of rage as he
turned his withering gaze on the young King.
Eryll Terenas, however, was busy mopping at blood spots on his tunic with a
  silken hank.
Suddenly he grabbed the king and dragged him from the cell. The guards
looked on in amazement as Lothar slammed the door shut and dropped the bar
down, trapping them in the room with Yaedik's corpse. King Terenas was also
in shock, as Lothar raised a sword to his tender throat. "It was you!"
The king stammered, his eyes darting to the jail door where the guards were
pounding and crying out. Soon others would arrive. Blood appeared at his
neck as the point was pressed harder.
"You organised the assassination of your own father, didn't you!" It was
not a question. "And you instigated the uprising at Hillsbrad."
Eryll Terenas's face was filled with horror, though whether it was from the
accusations or the blood dribbling down his assailant's blade... "How do
you..," he began, but footsteps were echoing loudly down the corridor. The
king's eyes darted towards their direction. His lips moved, but no sound
came out. A silent prayer, perhaps, or a plea for help.
Lothar pushed King Terenas into an adjacent cell, closing the door. He
snapped a leg from a nearby stool and wedged it in the door jam. "Now where
were we." He shoved Eryll against the side wall and raised his sword once
more. "I want it out now, Terenas. And if I don't get what I want..." The
sword tip again drew blood from the tense throat.
Guards had reached Yaedik's room and were opening the door.
"It was Master Skor, the Royal Advisor. I overheard him planning the
assualt on Hillsbrad, but I was discovered and he swore to kill me if I told
anyone. I didn't know he was going to kill my father!" Tears were running
down his cheeks. Lothar eased his sword slightly. "I swear, I didn't
  know."
The guards were now searching frantically for the king.
Lothar lowered the weapon to his side. "In here!" he called to the guards,
as he led the shaking king from the cell.

"The council of delegates now convenes." It was the chief scribe who
intoned the customary introduction. Around him were seated seven men, each
one a leader of his respective kingdom. Together, they represented the core
of the Alliance. "His majesty, King Eryll Terenas presides."
Lothar turned his gaze upon the youngest member of the coucil, seated at the
head of the great oval table. The king returned a knowing nod.
It had been several weeks since the traitorous Royal Advisor, Skor, had been
publicly executed. The Rebellion was officially no more, and things had
relatively returned to normal. At least, Lothar was finally sleeping in his
own bed once more. While there wasn't much love between King Eryll and
himself, there was a growing respect. With the aid of his newly appointed
vizier, the Alliance was now running smoothly. Settlement had even begun on
the new world. But soon the other portals would need to be explored, and
Lothar knew they would be once again calling on him.
His tight lips formed a grin. Best to squeeze in as much rest now while I
still can. He closed his eyes while the scribe droned on...
