Quake (Test1) Monster Patcher v0.01 by Obstler

Quick Instructions:


First you have to unpack the id1.pak into seperate files (e.g. using
unpack.exe-run unpack.exe in the quake dir, you must copy dos4gw.exe
to this dir. to as unpack.exe needs it to run).

move the files from this zip into the /maps directory that the unpacking
procedure makes

Change into the directory /maps, containing the file test1.bsd. Place
qmp.exe there and run it, it's pretty self explanatory. Oh, and don't
forget to make a backup copy of test1.bsd, so you can restore the original
map.

Also, you MUST rename the id1.pak in the original quake directory...
rename it to whatever you please


After patching just start up quake and load map1 (map test1) , instead of
the super shotgun you will find the specified monster.

and of course to id software for releasing this version of Quake!

Don't flame me if something doesn't work, I wrote this up in a couple of
minutes for all the ppl in #quake who can't use hex editors.

PS: I included a compiled unpack.exe, but it needs dos4gw.exe, just copy it
into the dir you run unpack from.
