Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for some help and advice regarding my mini-PC, the Bkouen TK11-B0 equipped with an i5-1135G7 processor, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, Wi-Fi, and Windows 11. For some time now, I’ve noticed that the fan in my PC is extremely loud. It seems like it's constantly running at 100%, although it doesn't appear to be broken. Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any suggestions on how to fix this fan issue? Additionally, I am looking for a way to update the BIOS. Unfortunately, I can't find any official site listing the current BIOS versions for this model. Does anyone know a reliable source for BIOS updates for the Bkouen TK11-B0? I would really appreciate any help or advice you can provide! Best regards, [link] [comments] |
Anytime I had problems with any emu being not updated or nuked, I always came back to GTA Chinatown Wars with Fusion Mod () and cwcheats () plus hd textures () and now even Retro City Rampage DX (Save States really help) with cwcheats too from another site.
I acn't thank Henrik Rydgard, Unkown, Akira and more in team ppsspp for the peace I have today since I got this emu in 2019 on my laptop. Huge Thanks and stay positive and Great. Have a nice time. Peace.
Just wondering if this would work for my Plex Media server and emulator for games such as Witcher 3 and the Xbox One era games. [link] [comments] |
My Minisforum UM970 pro stopped working 6 months ago, only two weeks after receiving it. After over 40 emails and two failed shipments to Minisforum (they never picked up the package, TWICE), I have given up all hopes of getting it replaced. I decided to take a look inside and found a burnt chip close to the power supply. I know it's a long shot, but I want to try and replace it. Since it is burnt I cannot make out the text on it. I think it is related to the power supply since it is close to the 19v barrel jack and the fact that the unit is completely dead. Maybe a voltage regulator of some sort? [link] [comments] |
I'm looking to buy one to use as general usage and light gaming. But since it is a very small build, I'm afraid of heating issues. Any experiences?
My old phone couldn't do much, so I was seeing if this was an improvement [link] [comments] |
Hey everyone So I'm playing lego batman 2 on dolphin using my Android and I've got a problem. I'm unable to accurately aim the batarangs when I hold down the b button. The aim goes off into the side of the corner and I can't move it what soever. Any help would be much appreciated [link] [comments] |
Edit: yes I have read the pinned guide, didn't find anything that fits.
Hi, I want to get a mini PC for home, it will be on all the time in a bedroom so needs to run very quietly. I am looking for a barebones PC as I already have 2x16Gb DDR5 SO-DIMMs, 2x M.2 NVME SSDs and one 2.5" Sata SSD which I would like to fit into it. I would prefer if it had USB4 or thunderbolt 3 as I have a monitor with TB3 input. It doesn't have to be tiny, it can be Mac Mini sized. Does this exist yet? Or do I have to wait a bit longer? Happy to buy from Ali Express or Amazon.
I'm pretty new to all of this, so I might make mistakes in my explanations, but I'm open to corrections.
I recently purchased Reolink RLC-520A cameras and some Tasmota smart plugs. I want to record videos on a server because I don't feel safe using an SD card in these cameras since they are very easy to detach. Therefore, I need a small PC that runs 24 hours a day and consumes less power. Additionally, I would like to monitor power consumption. My idea is to install Ubuntu and HAOS with a virtual machine, and then probably NVR.
I actually have two laptops. One is a Metabox P150em that comes with an i7-3740QM (4 cores, 8 threads), 16 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. This one is powerful enough, but unfortunately, it draws too much power (TDP 45W). The other laptop I have is an Asus F555L, which has an i5-5200U (2 cores, 4 threads), but only has 4 GB of built-in RAM and a 1 TB HDD. It doesn't seem to draw too much power; the CPU's TDP is 15W compared to the i7-3740QM.
If I want to repurpose the F555L, I guess I would definitely need to upgrade the RAM to 8 GB or 16 GB (8GBx2), and also add a 256 GB SSD. This will cost me around $100 AUD (I am in Australia). Another solution I found is to get a $55 AUD Dell Wyse 5070 thin client PC, which has a J5005 CPU, 4 GB RAM, and 16 GB flash memory. This CPU's TDP is only 10W, which is very ideal and faster than the i5-5200U. But again, I would need to upgrade the RAM and storage as well.
Now, I am wavering between using the F555L and buying the Dell Wyse. Choosing the F555L will save some bucks, but I am worried that the CPU might be out of date and not powerful enough for all these things, whereas the J5005 seems to be robust in the long run, although it costs more, it could save some from power bills.
I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

I'm planning to buy this phone. It just released this april and I'm thinking if it could run some emulators like 3ds, Gamecube, Ps2 ,PsVita, and Wii. [link] [comments] |
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1SS14XJDnGGpr-ire79KQBI1Xh4TphhWo Haven't shared an updated compilation of these themes in several months. These skins are primarily for Citra MMJ, DraStic DS, and PizzaBoy GBA. Thanks to anyone who have tried my themes in the past. There are several color variations in the folders. [link] [comments] |
Could someone help me explain how to transfer games from these platforms to the smartphone? I'm not finding anything on Google
Loads up the splash screen just fine and then goes straight into this loading spot but freezes after a few seconds . Seen a vid on YouTube of someone playing it on winlator with mods installed (I'm not doing any mods). Anyone know a fix? I tried so many settings, idk if there are more for me to tinker with that I don't know of . [link] [comments] |
How likely is it that there is malware in the bios? I bought an S1 wanting to use the stat screen, and being aware of the malware problem but thinking I’m knowledgeable enough to clean the system. I now see that I might not be able to use the stat screen because the software needed for it to display is also showing up as malware on virus total, although that may be a false positive I haven’t ruled it out as actual malware yet. The model I got did for sure have the same file that had malware that the articles talk about and it had the same exact results when I uploaded it to virus total.
I took out the hard drive (and memory) it came with and installed an entirely clean windows on an SSD. But after continuing to read posts on reddit (trying to solve the stat screen issue), I saw a post where some people suggested there could be malware (a rootkit) on the bios/uefi, motherboard, chip etc that you can’t remove or you have to remove with a rootkit removal. I tried to find a root kit removal tool - most of them told me I was downloading a specific tool then just took me to a page to download the main avast, sophos, avg virus removal tools which I already ran and they did not find a root kit. I also ran Microsoft defender in offline mode and it did not find a rootkit. Should I actually be worried about malware on the bios of Ace Magic S1 that had the oem malware? Some other people suggested it was far fetched and would be financially infeasible and an unlikely scenario therefore to install rootkits on these pcs that sell for less than $200 because the rootkits are expensive but I don’t know a lot about the subject.
Also should I be worried about connecting to the internet? I didn’t connect to the internet before removing then reinstalling the SSD and windows but I’m wondering if there is any need to worry about connecting to the internet since I’m not seeing any rootkit or any malware except for what I found on the original SSD/OS that’s gone and never got connected to the internet. While it had the original OS installed I played around with the RGB (minimal options and pointless to change - pointless period) and the stat screen which I actually enjoyed. Now that there is a (I hope) malware free system the stat screen just says ace magic all the time.
I can add some other links if it would be helpful or for other people who are trying to find out more about the overall process. I was just wondering what insight people have into the theory that there could be malware on the bios, and how I could detect or remove it and read up on rootkits which I know very little about so far.
EDIT: Here is some more information including the article and the Reddit thread I was referencing
Hey guys, do we have any fellow X6 Pro users in here?
I wanted to try win emulation but I gathered that this specific Mediatek chip can't handle Windows emulation? Is that true?
I just want to play simple ol' x86 games
You can't download them from the official Delta website anymore, so I was wondering if anyone got them when they were available, and could share them, since I think Delta is one of, if not the best mobile emulator.

So I recently got into emulation. I managed to get Max Payne 3 working on Winlator with 20fps. I read that Mobox offers better performance, so I wanted to check it out as well. However, while installing Input Bridge, my phone flagged it as a potential malware. I searched online and other posts on this subreddit, only to find mixed answers. My question is, for those who use Mobox, did you have any problems with Input bridge and is it really worth it to take the risk? Thanks
I have tried to add game shark codes only to have the menu only for it to remain grey and not allowing me add them for use. What am I doing wrong or has that been disabled? (https://www.gamegenie.com/cheats/gameshark/n64/mario_kart_64.html)
I am an analyst that lives inside MS Access, excel, powerpoint & powerBI. I am learning Jupyter and my laptop is struggling to keep up. So, I was looking around for a better laptop.
Thats when I met an IT guy in the train and had a chat. I was asking for a laptop suggestion. He told me that since I always connect my laptop to a big screen and use external mouse & keyboard. It would be better for me to get a miniPC as I will get better spec at cheaper price and its small (space saver). He asked me to look at Intel NUC, but since he is not very familiar, he could not suggest me a model number.
But then when I check the store, I was informed that Intel has stopped selling NUC. What do I do and what are my options?
Anyone using minipc to run Jupyter on Docker server? How is performance? Does it slow down?
