BSP-D8PRO & D10/S - Coming this Month

My last news post was before the New Year, right before the D9's release. Back then, I shed some light on what the creator of the BSP controllers(Mr Jiang) and his team were up to. Five months on, they are ready to release their next products - BSP-D8PRO and BSP-D10/S

It took me some time to compile the images from his Douyin videos. Pardon me if the image collages turned out messy, especially the ones with the promotional images. There were about twenty pictures per product, which means I couldn't upload them individually or I would exceed the limit. If you prefer to view them separately, I have uploaded them to imgur - D8PRO D10/S

For the product specifications, please check out the table in my comment to this post below. I chose not to put them into the post itself as you can't edit an image album post once it's submitted, making it impossible to rectify any mistakes or add new information. Instead, I will just do a quick FAQ here:

Q: When release?
A: 15th May (est.)

Q: Where to buy?
A: Typically, AliExpress - search something like "d8pro gamepad". If you can't find it, it probably means no retailer is looking to ship to your country. Alternatively, you can order from Taobao if you are comfortable with navigating a Chinese UI.

Q: How much?
A: D8PRO(268CNY), D10S(258CNY), D10(no info) - Note that these prices are RECOMMENDED retail price set by Mr Jiang. The various retailers are free to adjust them as they see fit. Buyers outside of China are expected to pay more due to shipping+taxes.

Q: Can my XXX inch tablet fit?
A: Kindly check the dimensions of your tablet online(eg. GSMArena) and compare it to the stretch length specs in my comment.

Q: Do BSP controllers work with GamePass/Moonlight etc.?
A: I can't vouch for these as I've only use my D8 strictly for emulating on my Android phone. However, there are plenty of reports/threads that they do work. You will have to find the details yourselves though.

Q: If I own a different controller or an older BSP product, should I swap/upgrade?
A: That is completely up to you. If you are satisfied with your current controller and have no need for the features introduced in the newer controllers, there is no reason to force yourself to upgrade. This post is strictly to inform on what products is being worked on by Mr Jiang and his team. It's NOT a "HOLY SHIT YOU GOTTA BUY THIS NEW SHINY BSP CONTROLLER MAN! YOUR OLD ONE IS OUTDATED" post.

Q: What happened to the USB-C controller(NSP)?
A: It's still being worked on. Unfortunately, there isn't any details on its specs or ETA. In any case, the standard BSP controllers do support wired connection via USB-C cable if the Bluetooth really bothers you. Here's an example of someone doing it on a D9.

Q: What does BSP stand for?
A: 佰世派 - read "bai shi pai"

That sums up the main post. Please check out my comment below where I will be including a table with the specs for the D8PRO and D10/S. Happy gaming!

So I have the UM773 SE and I have no problems with it. I can run games on e it like overwatch and even run 2 monitors on it! but what I need help on is how to fix this overheating problem on this PC. If I run any program like Overwatch it gets overheated unless I have a fan facing it the whole time or play at night when its chilly. If I'm considering getting the ROG Intel NUC (4060), what other gaming mini PCs should I also consider?

I love my Steam Deck. It's basically the only gaming device I use now even when I'm home. Unfortunately just doesn't have the power to play more modern games.

I'm traveling a lot now for work, so I don't want to get a console or desktop PC that I would only have access to when at home.

Thought about getting a gaming laptop, but that market seems to be rife with making compromises between price, heat dissipation, and hardware quality all while hoping that the laptop doesn't fry itself over time or have one of it's unreplaceable components (screen, keyboard, speakers, etc.) die.

So I considered making an ITX PC that I can remote play on my Steam Deck, but I want this to be very travel-friendly; even 3.5L ITX cases are a bit chonky.

So that's why I'm considering getting a Mini PC. Saw the ROG Intel NUC and thought it would be perfect for my usecase. The price is hard to swallow, but I'm willing to spend around that range. But is there anything else I should consider getting instead?

  • N100 based boxes, anything to look out for?/u/Kelaifu
I've searched my local markets and found a number of different n100 based systems and without a ssd, the majority (bar the CNC milled cased ones etc) all come in at the rough same price of around 1000rmb ($150). On paper I can't see much different between them spec wise, theres some variety in the io but they all have more than I need. Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for when choosing one? submitted by /u/Kelaifu to r/MiniPCs [link] [comments]

  • Reatan Alloy 9 or Beelink SER7?/u/diamond187
Looking to replace the main family PC, usage is typical streaming, web, light gaming. Looking at the spreadsheet, both are neck and neck, with the 7940HS on the Reatan sounding a bit better than the 7840HS on the Beelink. My leaning is Reatan for the 2xHDMI (matching existing monitors, doesn't require a DP to HDMI adapter); however, I'd love this forums insight on build quality and support around BIOS and drivers, as I'm not seeing much on Reatan; seeing Beelink seems respondant (but amazon also

Amazon reviews are garbage since they reflect multiple previous platforms on each.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? They're both VERY close to the same price, and likely about the same once I get a DP to HDMI adapter. Is the Beelink support worth going with a slightly older CPU?

Sale season for minisforum

I am looking at mini PCs with dedicated GPU but the price of such mini PCs are on the higher end (e.g. hx99g). I was wondering if there is a sale during holidays (ex July 4th in US) when I can purchase a mini PC on discount.

Need help with screen size layout with Citra MMJ

Is there a way I can save my screen size so that I don't have to manually adjust it each time I play a game? It remembers where I place buttons but it won't remember my screen layout. Thanks

  • Force lower fps for switch emulation?/u/osiris128
Hello. Are there mods for switch emulation, which force 60fps games to run in lower fps like locked 30? I think some weaker devices could benefit from it, fps of Metroid dread, Super Mario Bros Wonders fall to 40 on some devices and these games slow down. So I think the gameplay can be improved with such mods (sure the visual won't be the same but 30fps looks fine imho). Has someone any experience, or made some research on that? submitted by /u/osiris128 to r/EmulationOnAndroid [li
