As part of its WWDC announcements today, Apple revealed a partnership with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT natively to iOS 18. During a followup interview on Monday, Apple executives Craig Federighi and John Giannandrea elaborated on Apple’s AI goals – and hinted at a possible agreement with Google Gemini in the future.

At WWDC 2024, Apple demonstrated how it’s infusing AI into the iPhone with iOS 18. Google said it wants to do the same with Android a month earlier at I/O and that this would be a multi-year journey.

As expected, Apple announced RCS support for the iPhone’s Messages app with iOS 18 at WWDC 2024. This was first teased last November.

Boox, a go-to manufacturer for Android-based e-readers, has released two new lightweight options in its “Go” category. The Boox Go 10.3 is a black/white reader that prioritizes travel-friendly features, while the Go Color 7 is a smaller color option with physical page-turning buttons.
