Destiny 2's Echoes episode is packed with new weapons, and a ton of them are worth the work to obtain them. The Aberrant Action, for example, has quickly become my favorite sidearm thanks to its Rocket Frame and great perk selection.

The Perfect Paradox is available among the loot drops from Episode: Echoes activities. Upon completing things like Battlegrounds (which are also going to be the most consistent), you'll receive an array of rewards including a weapon or two from the new Episode. As of the end of Act 2, the Perfect Paradox is among these possible drops.

Alongside random drops, completing the available research quests along with the story of the current acts will unlock Engram Focusing. Among the available weapons is the Perfect Paradox, which becomes focusable upon completing all Act 2 story content. This will set you back four Echo Engrams, but with enough playtime, you should have more than enough to spare.

Since you'll be farming for the Perfect Paradox anyway, you may be wondering what the best rolls are for the weapon. The following perks should do you nicely:

  • Barrel: Smallbore
  • Magazine: Appended Mag
  • Perk 1: Pugilist
  • Perk 2: One-Two Punch

Smallbore provides the Perfect Paradox with some better range and stability, not that range is a colossal help for a shotgun. Appended Mag is merely nice for that extra bullet, especially since other mags tend not to give the same benefits. Finally, we have Pugilist and One-Two Punch, which is a god-tier combo for melee builds. The improvements toward melee energy regen and handling are too hard to pass up, only heightened with increased melee damage when hitting an enemy with the full blast. As you may have guessed already, this is a shotgun designed for Titan players and their melee-focused builds.

Farming some of the newest weapons in Destiny 2 tends to be the main focus for most players. For those who haven't been around for ages though, getting older weapons can be nice as a way to play catch up. This is especially true for exotics earned from activities like dungeons and raids since many are among the best.

One such weapon is obtained from a specific raid that becomes easier to farm occasionally. Here's how to get the Eyes of Tomorrow rocket launcher in Destiny 2.

Where to get the Eyes of Tomorrow in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid Key Art
Image via Bungie.

The Eyes of Tomorrow is a potential reward from the final encounter of the Deep Stone Crypt raid, acquired upon defeating Taniks, the Abomination. Each raid completion has a 5% chance to gift the Eyes of Tomorrow along with whatever reward you would have earned otherwise, and you earn a reward from a raid encounter completion once per character per week. In essence, you have three shots at a 5% drop per week.

However, there are ways to increase your odds substantially. During select weeks, the Deep Stone Crypt will become the rotated raid of the week, offering a Pinnacle Reward upon completing it. This makes the rewards from all encounters farmable, meaning you can spam the Deep Stone Crypt final checkpoint as many times as you want for chances at the Eyes of Tomorrow. You could do 100 clears of it if you really wanted to. On top of this, certain triumphs related to the raid will grant an increased drop chance for the Eyes of Tomorrow. You can find these under the Journey tab of your inventory.

Otherwise, it's simply a matter of continuing to complete the raid. Each completion where you don't get the Eyes of Tomorrow will increase your chances slightly, so you just need to keep at it.

Is the Eyes of Tomorrow worth using?

The Eyes of Tomorrow comes with the exotic perk Eyes on All, which causes it to fire at multiple targets at once while tracking them. Alongside this, the trait Adaptive Ordnance grants you rocket ammo back and increases the damage of the next rocket volley when killing four enemies in a single volley. While this all sounds great, heavy weapons in the current meta are meant for dealing with larger, healthier enemies like bosses. Having it focus on dealing with smaller enemies would severely hurt your DPS, but may still have its uses in certain scenarios.

Destiny 2's Exotic weapons often have very specific ways to get them. While many can be obtained from the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower, numerous weapons require completing specific activities or a lengthy Exotic quest. One such weapon, the Buried Bloodline, is exclusive to those who pay up and then grind for it.

If you've picked up the Lightfall Dungeon Key, then here's what you need to know to get the Buried Bloodline sidearm in Destiny 2.

Where to find the Buried Bloodline sidearm in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Warlord's Ruin Key Art
Image via Bungie.

Buried Bloodline is a weapon exclusive to the Warlord's Ruin dungeon, which is unlocked upon purchasing the Lightfall Dungeon Key. This costs $20 worth of Silver and includes access to both this dungeon and the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. Once you have that, you want to speak to Ikora and begin the In the Shadow of the Mountain quest, which itself starts with completing the Warlord's Ruin dungeon.

Once in the dungeon itself, you want to proceed as normal and defeat the final boss, Hefnd's Vengeance. Similar to raids, defeating the dungeon's final boss has a small chance to drop the Buried Bloodline weapon. This means you could get it on your fourth run, or you could get it on your 24th. This leaves you at the mercy of RNG. It doesn't help that this can only be done once per week per character, giving you only three opportunities a week. Either way, keeping at it should net the Buried Bloodline at some point.

Is the Buried Bloodline worth using?

The Buried Bloodline is a sidearm that comes with the Exotic perk Hungering Quarrel. This perk turns your shots into dual-tracking bolts. Hitting a target with both bolts leeches health, helping your survivability. Additionally, multiple final blows with the weapon grant Devour. The weapon is considered alright for PvP content, but great in PvE due to its high damage and sustain capabilities. If you manage to complete the puzzles within the Warlord's Ruin dungeon and get its catalyst, having Devour will weaken any targets you come across. If you want some utility out of your Exotic, you'd be hard-pressed to find a good alternative.

Fish Oil is acquired by catching any fish from the Plains of Eidolon and skinning it. These fish can be skinned at Fisher Hai-Luk for free through the Cut Fish dialogue option, and you can cut as many fish as you can catch. Alongside Fish Oil, you'll get several other resources for other recipes such as Amps, Zaws, frame components, and more.

The amount of Fish Oil you'll get from a fish will depend on the fish you catch and its size. For example, a small Sharrac will grant two Fish Oil, while a large Sharrac will grant four. With this inconsistency in mind, the best fish for Fish Oil is the Murkray, rewarding seven, eight, and nine Fish Oil for small, medium, and large respectively. Murkray can be acquired from Ocean hotspots, through which you must use Murkray Bait also purchased from Fisher Hai-Luk. While looking for Murkray, be sure to catch any other fish you see so you can get their Fish Oil as well.

What is Fish Oil used for?

Fish Oil is primarily used in Grips and Braces for both Zaws and Amps respectively. Alongside them, you'll need some for Twilight Bait, Grendel's Systems, and the Archwing Launcher segment. If you want to build one of everything, you'll need a total of 660 Fish Oil. For every bit of Twilight Bait you craft, add 10 to that counter.

Where to get the Cinta in Warframe

How to find and solve Duviri Puzzles in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Cinta's blueprint and its component blueprints is found by solving Enigma puzzles within Duviri. These are small pillars with various symbols on them, often accompanied by Paragrimms sitting on top of them. These puzzles involve shooting various containers to acquire the three symbols listed on the pillars. They can be either solo or require another player's teamwork to complete.

Once you get all three symbols aligned, the pillar will open and drop an array of loot. Among these will be a chance for the Cinta blueprint to drop, alongside the Grip, Upper Limb, Lower Limb, and String blueprints. Each blueprint has an equal 20% chance to drop.

Once you have all the blueprints, you'll need the following to craft each of the four component parts:

  • Cinta Grip Blueprint
    • 40x Kovnik
    • 6x Maw Fang
    • 50x Lamentus
    • 80x Aggristone

  • Cinta Upper Limb Blueprint
    • 40x Yao Shrub
    • 60x Dracroot
    • 50x Lamentus
    • 80x Aggristone

  • Cinta Lower Limb Blueprint
    • 40x Eevani
    • 100x Ariette Scale
    • 50x Lamentus
    • 20x Silphsela

  • Cinta String Blueprint
    • 40x Connla Sprout
    • 20x Tasoma Extract
    • 50x Lamentus
    • 70x Saggen Pearl

Each of these components takes 12 hours to craft, while the main blueprint will add 12 hours for a total of 24 hours if you start building each component simultaneously. Once all that time passes, however, the Cinta will finally be yours.

Is the Cinta worth using?

The Cinta is a bow capable of firing "perfect shots"; releasing the shot right before fully charging it deals bonus damage. This will make the projectile much larger, and inflict more damage over a wider area. This is similar to the Nataruk, another bow that is acquired through a late-game main story quest. While this means the Cinta is quite strong, it is outclassed by the Nataruk thanks to the latter being a powerhouse. If you don't have the Nataruk yet, it's a great alternative.

Some contribute toward things that could lead you to craft what you want. One such resource is integral for the Prime gear-grinding loop of the mid-late game. Here's how to farm Aya in Warframe.

Where to farm Aya in Warframe

Warframe Cetus Bounties
Image via Destructoid.

Aya is earned through either completing Bounty stages or through Void missions. Void missions are arguably the worst of the two options since these can take longer and give fewer chances at Aya. Instead, you should focus on Bounties across Cetus, Fortuna, the Necralisk, and the Sanctum Anatomica. Each Bounty has a chance to include Aya, so you may need to check a few vendors before a Bounty has Aya as a possible reward.

When choosing a good Bounty, you should select the lowest level Bounty that includes Aya as a possible reward. All Aya rewards from Bounties give one Aya, so there's no benefit to completing higher-level Bounties unless you want another reward. Once you have one in mind, simply farm it endlessly until you have as much Aya as you want.

What is Aya used for?

Aya is used at Varzia's shop in Maroo's Bazaar (found on Mars) to purchase Void Relics. These Relics are different from the usual ones you get as mission rewards since they contain the Prime parts of frames, weapons, and other gear that have been temporarily unvaulted.

For example, the previous Prime Resurgence event saw Inaros Prime, Ash Prime, Carrier Prime, along with various weapons and cosmetics become part of these Void Relics. You should get as many of these Relics as you can and open them since there's no telling when they will return.

This game has an encyclopedia of resources and ways to get them, though it isn't too overbearing since each resource has a distinct purpose that isn't useful across the entire game, but rather in one aspect. One such resource has limited uses but can be tough to acquire. Here's how to get and use Seriglass Shards in Warframe.

Where to get Seriglass Shards in Warframe

Seriglass Shards are acquired by speaking with Grandmother in the Necralisk. When interacting with her, check out her Oddities through the conversation options and you should see Seriglass Shards listed. Each Seriglass Shard costs 20 Grandmother Tokens, which are acquired either through trading other family Tokens with Grandmother, finding them randomly, or through trading Deimos resources through the Mend the Family dialogue option with Grandmother. Provided you're interacting with Deimos regularly, you should be able to get enough Grandmother Tokens to purchase a Seriglass Shard.

If you don't immediately need a Seriglass Shard, Grandmother Tokens can also be used to purchase an assortment of decorations from her shop. They can also be traded in for 1,500 Standing with the Entrati Syndicate.

What are Seriglass Shards used for?

Warframe Sepulcrum Blueprint
Image via Destructoid.

Seriglass Shards have two uses, Entrati Standing and several weapons. The Quassus, Trumna, and Sepulcrum blueprints each require one Seriglass Shard to craft. Additionally, the final rank of Family with the Entrati requires a Seriglass Shard. This totals four Seriglass Shards, or 80 Grandmother Tokens to purchase everything on offer. That will take a lot of time, but you should get most Grandmother Tokens you need through working toward max rank with the Entrati Syndicate.

The vast majority of resources in Hades 2 are straightforward. If you need a particular resource, you either go and find it in the wild somewhere, or you plant it and wait for it to grow in the Crossroads. You might need to bring a specific tool to harvest something, but that's as far as complexity typically goes, but not in the case of this resource. Here's how to get Shadow in Hades 2.

Where to get Shadow in Hades 2

Shadow is acquired through Alchemy within the Incantation Cauldron. Once you've progressed enough to where you need Shadow, a new tab will pop up in the Cauldron that lets you concoct Shadow with the right ingredients. The ingredients required are as follows:

  • 30 Ash
  • 30 Psyche
  • 3 Fate Fabric

Ash and Psyche can both be acquired as side rooms on each run of Hades 2 and are hard to miss. As for Fate Fabric, this can be purchased from the Wretched Broker in the Crossroads for 60 Bones each. You can also use Charon's Obol Points to order a bulk shipment of any of the above resources. Once you have the resources, simply take them to the pot and start the process. It should take 12 Whiles to brew. Once that's passed, one Shadow will be yours.

What to do with Shadow in Hades 2

Hades 2 Incantation Cauldron

Shadow is used in two separate places. The first is the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation, which unlocks access to the surface and opens a new side of the game. The other is in the Moonlit Essence from Shadow recipe, which converts one Shadow and one Cinder into five Moon Dust. Moon Dust is incredibly useful for leveling your Arcana Cards late into the game, so you'll eventually want to farm Shadow for it.

Some of these can be earned on any run, while others are in specific locations or require specific tools to collect. Needless to say, that resource grind will take a good while.

One such resource is hidden in the far reaches of the game but will come in handy later. Here's how to get Driftwood in Hades 2.

Where to find Driftwood in Hades 2

Driftwood is found through the surface in the Rift of Thessaly region. If you don't have access to the surface yet, you need to play until you get the right incantation to open up the path, then craft it using numerous resources. If you haven't gotten an incantation like that yet, then you don't need to worry about Driftwood or a handful of resources either.

Once you make it to the surface, progress your run until you reach the Rift of Thessaly. This region has you jumping from ship to ship as you fight various enemies, though you should keep an eye on the deck the next time you're up there. These decks have a chance to have a piece of Driftwood on them which doesn't require a specific tool to be picked up. These look like a branch that's fallen off a tree. You should find 1-2 each run provided you clear the entire Rift of Thessaly region.

What to do with Driftwood in Hades 2

Hades 2 Incantation Cauldron

Driftwood has two uses with the Incantation Cauldron in the Crossroads. The first is a healing rift that can spawn in the Rift of Thessaly, so you can get a heal before dealing with some of the more difficult encounters. The other is more interesting, opening up a fishing pier in the Crossroads where you can fish with your allies, provided you have the right item.

Trying to make a build for anything in Warframe can be a daunting prospect. You need to find eight separate mods that synergize well with a specific purpose, level those mods up, Forma various slots so you can fit these mods, and find an Arcane that suits that build well. That build may not even do well after all that time and effort.

One of the new weapons added with Protea Prime's release is a good weapon to make a build for, provided you like the feel of the original variant. Here's the best build for Okina Prime in Warframe.

The best mod setup for Okina Prime in Warframe

The Okina Prime is best known for its high Attack Speed and Crit Chance values without factoring in mods, so we're looking for mods that further enhance both stats. This turns the Okina Prime into a dual-dagger powerhouse, dealing tons of damage in a flurry of attacks to overwhelm your opponent. The best mods for this setup are as follows:

  • Spinning Needle (Stance)
  • Blood Rush
  • Gladiator Vice
  • Quickening
  • Primed Fever Strike
  • Organ Shatter
  • Weeping Wounds
  • Condition Overload
  • Berserker Fury

This leaves the Exilus slot unused, though you'll be required to use a few more Forma on these blades to get something interesting slotted in. You can do that if you enjoy min-maxing, but it's unnecessary. You can also swap out Organ Shatter for a Riven mod if you dabble in that sort of thing.

As for the Arcane, I suggest you slot in either Melee Crescendo or Melee Duplicate based on personal preference. Melee Crescendo ups that initial Combo Counter, letting you dish out even more Crits with that heightened Critical Chance off your mods. Melee Duplicate, on the other hand, is more DPS. Who doesn't want more DPS?

Warframe Relic Pack

The release of new Prime frames in Warframe is always a big moment for players. Not only is it a new way to get Mastery, but it's a fun rush as you scrounge up any relics you can to give yourself a shot at getting parts for the new frame and weapons. The normal way to get these relics is to farm them from missions, though there's another way that can be a bit faster. Here's where you can buy Relic Packs in Warframe.

Where to purchase Relic Packs in Warframe

Relic Packs are available as part of the offerings of any of the six Syndicates, going for a rate of one Relic Pack for every 20,000 Standing. That means if you have the max Standing with a Syndicate, you can get six Relic Packs for a total of 18 Relics. The offerings of each Syndicate are found by accessing the appropriate console at the front left of your Orbiter's cockpit and selecting your highest-ranking Syndicate.

If you have excess Standing with any of the major open-world factions (found in Cetus, Fortuna, and the Necralisk), then you can interact with the mining vendor at that location to purchase Relic Packs for 20,000 Standing.

There's one final way to get Relic Packs, though not through Standing. By completing all nodes on the star chart and unlocking The Steel Path, you can interact with Teshin at any relay and look at his Steel Path Honors shop to purchase 25 Relic Packs a week, going at 15 Steel Essence per pack. This resets every Sunday at 5 p.m. PT, making it a good way to get a ton of relics should you play Steel Path regularly.

Are Relic Packs worth getting?

Whether you should buy these Relic Packs depends entirely on your patience. It is possible to farm specific relics from various missions, though you depend on RNG more heavily than Relic Packs. These are more efficient, though you could snag a ton of junk relics if luck isn't on your side. If you have a ton of Standing or Steel Essence collecting dust, then knock yourself out.
