Hooded Horse's new strategy game Menace isn't XCOM, and that's okay

21. Únor 2026 v 17:00

I assumed, from its pretty hardcore cinematic - as well as everything else I'd read - that Menace was like XCOM for people who didn't like themselves. I was well up for that, filling each requirement perfectly. I love XCOM, with its super granular tactical turn-based goodness, and let's be honest, I'm only so-so.

New space extraction game Star Wrath lets you build, fly, and then totally destroy a bunch of spaceships

19. Únor 2026 v 18:22

For anyone who spent hours of their childhood trying to recreate an X-Wing from random - and often mismatched - Lego pieces, there is a game you should really be keeping an eye on. Star Wrath classifies itself as a multiplayer, extraction-action space game, and from the look of its new reveal trailer, I'm inclined to agree.

This surprisingly popular Steam MMO is now on the Epic Games Store, with a free starter pack if you're quick

19. Únor 2026 v 17:07

If you've ever wanted more danger in Minecraft or perhaps wanted more angular features in Stalker, then you have hit the jackpot this week. Stalcraft X, the blocky MMO that takes more than a few hints from the hardcore post-apocalypse game, is now on the Epic Games Store and free to play. Oh, and there are a ton of in-game freebies up for grabs if you want to get stuck in.

Windrose addresses my personal crafting annoyances and also gives me a big boat

18. Únor 2026 v 17:00

I have a love/hate relationship with survival crafting games. In theory, they all sound great; I get to build whatever I want using nothing but my noggin and the resources around me. What usually happens, though, is I deforest half the map, then forget where I put my wood, and it turns from cozy household to manic scavenger hunt. There are also usually monsters.

John Wick game release date estimate, trailers, and story

17. Únor 2026 v 15:35

The John Wick videogame release date is coming. He, as we should all know by now, is the unstoppable force and the immovable object rolled into one, and most definitely a person you don't want to get on the wrong side of. As one of the world's deadliest assassins, Wick can complete any task set by the High Table, coupling extreme resolve with an unparalleled skill set to get the job done. Plus, he has lovely hair. Recently, a John Wick videogame was announced, putting us in the shoes of Mr. Wick as he tackles many, many henchmen to the ground. Details are sparse, but we were given a peek at what we'll be up to when the action game is released, which thankfully includes violence, judo, and unwieldy yet effective close-quarters gunplay.

How to find water in Prologue Go Wayback

20. Listopad 2025 v 15:01

How do you find water in Prologue Go Wayback? There are a fair few things that can kill you in Prologue Go Wayback, but not having a clean and continuous source of water to drink means that your run is doomed from the very beginning. Finding stuff to drink, though, can be a lot harder than it seems, especially if you get a bad spawn on the map. While dehydration won't get you as quickly as, say, hypothermia, there is an inevitability about your thirst in the single-player game, with physical activity becoming much more difficult without something to drink. Building a fire is the best way to survive in cold conditions, but finding water to drink in Prologue Go Wayback can be a bit more involved.

How to light a fire in Prologue Go Wayback

20. Listopad 2025 v 15:00

How do you light a fire in Prologue Go Wayback? There's a lot to think about before you even set foot outside in Prologue Go Wayback; the meager supplies in your starting cabin will only get you so far, and if you want to stand a chance at surviving the harsh wilderness, you'll have to know how to build a fire. With the survival game finally out in early access, players are taking their first steps into the unknown - and if they're anything like us, dying not long after. The cold weather is a real killer in Prologue Go Wayback, and without frequent fires to keep you warm and dry, you'll find yourself back in that starting cabin, starting fresh.
