Magic: the Gathering is sharing all the details about the plethora of new and returning gameplay mechanics featured in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover set. The globally popular trading card game from Wizards of the Coast has gone all-in on its array of crossovers throughout the past year, bringing in a wide variety of new franchises. Magic: the Gathering's Final Fantasy collaboration launched as the first Standard-legal crossover set in June 2025, while the following months brought cards based on Spider-Man and Avatar the Last Airbender. Now, another big crossover is on the way soon.

Nintendo is forcing a Pokemon TCG store in New York City to change its name, following concerns over the beloved franchise's branding and trademark. The massively popular TCG based on the monster-catching series is easily one of the biggest collectible card games in the world, with a long and storied history throughout its nearly three decades. The Pokemon TCG has grown into one of the biggest branches of the Pokemon brand, with tens of thousands of cards for players to collect across its many expansions. The past year has seen a particular boom for the TCG as well.

ARC Raiders design lead Virgil Watkins is teasing some major changes to the game with its next balance update, adjusting both the Kettle rifle and Trigger Nades. The shooter from Embark Studios has been one of the biggest breakout stories in the gaming industry throughout recent months, with the game seeing huge success following its late October launch. ARC Raiders saw player counts on Steam that rivaled mega-popular franchises like Battlefield and Call of Duty after its debut, and has already sold more than 12 million copies. A big reason for that sustained success has been Embark's support for the game.
