Wccftech’s Most Anticipated Multiplayer Games of 2026 – New Online Worlds

A collage of five characters from the five most anticipated multiplayer games of 2026, according to Wccftech.

Multiplayer games are unique in that they can last for years and years, even decades in some cases, but the excitement of a brand new release cannot be truly matched by DLCs or expansions for existing titles. Luckily, 2026 looks very interesting on the front of new multiplayer games releases. They're also quite varied, offering a variety of settings and gameplay formulas that are likely to entice many players throughout the year. Other Wccftech's Most Anticipated 2026 Games per genre: Role-Playing Games, Indie Games, Platformers, DLC/Expansion, Action, Shooters, Horror, Sports/Racing, Fighting, Adventure Games, Strategy/Simulation Marathon (March 2026 - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X) […]

Enshrouded: Best Builds After Update 7 (Wake of the Water)

3. Prosinec 2025 v 14:19

Update 7: Wake of the Water didn’t just add a lot of new elements to Enshrouded, it also had a lot of balance changes that shifted what the best builds are.

There is honestly a bit of everything when it comes to strong builds in this game! There are powerful archers who dominate from range, brawling barbarians that never stop swinging, and otherworldly spellcasters that decimate their foes.

Now, let’s look at 5 of the best builds in the game. We guarantee that at least one of them will fit your preferences!

Best Builds After Update 7 | Enshrouded: Wake of the Water

Assassin – Dagger Specialist

To start with, we have the Assassin build. This one focuses on using daggers and bows, both of which scale with the Dexterity stat. This is convenient for building, and it’s a stat that also got some buffs with the latest update!

The main advantage of this build is going all out and dealing insane burst damage. On top of that, you’ll be quite versatile and mobile. You’ll be ready to take on anything the game throws at you!

This is even better if you can manage to use stealth to get quick sneak attacks. These can instantly kill or at least greatly weaken enemies. That said, stealth isn’t exactly super reliable in this game, so it’s not your main focus.

As a bonus, this build can also make great use of daggers that add effects such as Poison. This gives you some consistent damage over time on top of your high burst damage.

When it comes to the skills to look out for, you’ll mainly want to focus on the Beastmaster skill tree and any Dexterity and Endurance skills.

There are hundreds of skills in this game, so we’ll simplify things by giving some of the must-have standouts:

  • Battle Heal
  • Dagger Master
  • Expose Weakness
  • Multishot
  • Quick Reflex Block
  • Ranger
  • Slice and Dice
  • Venomous Blades

Wizard – All Your Spellcasting Needs

If you want the spellcaster power fantasy, this is the build for you. It focuses entirely on using the staff and wand alongside with a focus on the Intelligence and Spirit stats.

Basically, you’ll want to raise your Intelligence as much as possible to boost your damage. Then, supplement by building up your Spirit to increase your Mana pool, allowing for more casts.

As you can imagine, this build is a master of the elements and is capable of dishing out insane damage. Both single-target and area-of-effect damage, too!

The main drawback is, of course, you’re going to be purely a glass cannon. You don’t get a lot of survivability, as you will want to focus purely on damage. But hey, you can’t die if you kill all of your enemies first, right?

When it comes to your Skill selection, you want to focus primarily on anything that boosts your Intelligence and Spirit. That aside, here are some of the must-have standouts to go for:

  • Blink
  • Mass Destruction
  • Radiant Aura
  • Water Aura
  • Wizard

Barbarian – Two-Handed Brawler

If the previous builds aren’t really your playstyle, how about we swing things to the opposite end? The Barbarian build focuses all in on using two-handed weapons and being sturdy enough to survive any brawl!

With this build, you’ll mainly want to focus on Strength for damage and Constitution to boost your health. Your weapon of choice will be any two-handed weapon, though you’ll also want to keep a bow or wand around for utility.

With this setup, you’ll have an easy time with all melee encounters. Your damage and Health pool will allow you to outlive most of your foes with ease!

The one downside is, of course, your lack of ranged options. You can use a bow or wand for some utility and ranged combat but… well, your stats just mean they’ll do very little damage. Only use in case of emergency!

With all of that said, here are some of the key skills you want to grab:

  • Any Skill that fits the damage type of your weapon of choice (Cutting for greatswords, for example)
  • Backstab Damage
  • Barbarian
  • Battle Heal
  • Blood Rage
  • Feast
  • Jump Attack

Battlemage – Tank and Cast

How about mixing things up? A versatile spellcasting build that can also do well in melee-range encounters! Basically, a more sturdy spellcaster choice, if the Wizard before sounded too squishy for your taste.

This build focuses mainly on survivability and utility. Your weapons of choice will be a wand with a shield for most occasions, with a staff as a secondary choice for ranged combat.

Using the wand as your main weapon also has the benefit of making Mana management a lot easier. It restores Mana naturally, allowing you to not run out as easily in longer encounters!

For your stats, you’ll mainly focus on Intelligence to boost your damage and Constitution to give you a larger Health pool. You’ll really be going all in on the idea of being a tanky mage!

The main drawback of this build is that it doesn’t have the best damage output. It sacrifices potential magic damage for survivability. Also, you’ll need to get comfortable with swapping between both of your weapons often.

Now, when it comes to skills, these are the main ones to look out for:

  • Blink
  • Life Burst
  • Shared Misery
  • Tower
  • Unity
  • Wand Master
  • Water Aura

Archer – Ranged Supremacy

This list started with a bow user, so we figure it’s only fitting to end with a different flavor of bow user! In fact, this is basically a reverse of that build, as you’ll use your bow as your primary and your daggers as a backup.

As before, you’ll mainly focus on Dexterity to boost your damage. However, you’ll also want to invest in Intelligence to benefit from some skills that boost your survivability. Water Aura is the biggest example of this.

Since you’ll stay out of range from most enemies, this is also a very safe build with great survivability. The damage isn’t lacking either, even when dealing with groups!

The main weakness of this build is that focusing purely on bows can be very resource-intensive. You’ll often have to scavenge a lot to craft your high-end arrows, like Explosive Arrows. Plus, progression can be rough until you get some unlocks like the Eternal Ice Arrow.

With that said, here’s a quick list of the main skills to aim for:

  • Chain Reaction
  • Multishot
  • Ranger
  • Sharpshooter
  • Shell Shock
  • Water Aura

And with that, we finish this list of the best Enshrouded builds after Update 7 – Wake of the Water!

How to Get All New Items and Gear in Enshrouded Wake of the Water

3. Prosinec 2025 v 12:31

The Wake of the Water update for Enshrouded didn’t just add some water for you to swim in, it also added a bunch of new items and gear pieces!

There is quite a lot of new gear, a lot of it providing upgrades to the new swimming mechanics. Others are more “standard”, like legendary weapons and unique gear that fit specific builds.

In this guide, we’ll tell you the locations of all the new unique items and gear we know of!

How to Get All New Items and Gear | Enshrouded – Wake of the Water Update

Flaming Gauntlets

For this one, you’ll need to head to the Gateway Outpost “Endflame.” It’s on the spot shown above, on the northwestern part of Cromville.

To get the Flaming Gauntlets, we recommend starting from the top of the nearby cliffs. Then, glide down towards the Endflame itself and enter the largest house, following the route shown above.

You just have to pick the locked door on the bottom floor of the house to reach the golden chest with the gauntlets!

Golden War Hero Axe

Much like the Flaming Gauntlets, this weapon can also be found at the Gateway Outpost “Endflame”. Again, the map above serves as a reference for its location.

As before, gliding down from the nearby cliffs is the easiest way to get this treasure. This time, though, you need to aim for the largest watchtower. It’s the one with the broken roof, as shown above.

Drop down into the tower through its roof’s hole and then follow the route above to reach a room with a chest. Open that chest up to get the Golden War Hero Axe.

Diving Helm

This time around, you’ll want to head to the Drak’Dal Temple near Starfish Shores. It’s northwest of the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire, roughly in the spot marked above.

Once you reach the temple, you want to enter it through the top. Then, mine the ground next to the frame so that you can drop further down into the water below. Interact with the skeleton underwater to get the helmet.

We highly recommend picking this one up as soon as possible, since it gives you +60 Maximum Oxygen! What better way to enjoy all of the new underwater wonders in Wake of the Water, right?

If you want a more detailed guide to the Drak’Dal Temple and its puzzles, we can help! Check out our Diving Helm Drak’Dal Temple guide.

Swimfins

Well, the Diving Helm made you breathe longer underwater. So, it’s now time to speed up your swimming! For this one, go to Goldrock Saddle, north of the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire.

Do note, you need to have upgraded your flame to dispel the Deadly Shroud! Otherwise, you won’t be able to survive here.

To find the Swimfins, go into the village’s servers and search for the wooden blockage shown above. Cut it down with an axe and then follow the route shown above in the Shrouded area. Open the golden chest behind the locked steel gate to get the treasure.

Drakian Boots

You’ll need to fight for these boots, so get ready for combat. Once you’re ready, head to the Drak’Dal Camp west of the Starfish Shores.

In that camp, you’ll need to defeat the large Drak boss there. They are the leader of the camp, and will drop the Drakian Boots upon defeat! It’s as simple as that.

Lucky Fishing Rod

Next up, you’ll want to go to the Suspicious Drak’Dal Ruin east of Starfish Shores. As always, the map above shows its location.

Once you reach the ruins, follow the clip above. Essentially, you have to stand in the very middle of the ruins and start mining with a Pickaxe. This will reveal the chest containing the Lucky Fishing Rod.

Circlet of Lightning

This time, go south of the Suspicous Drak’Dal Ruin where you found the Lucky Fishing Rod right before. You’ll find a Drak’Dal Camp there. Be ready for combat, though!

Deal with the Draks in the camp as you see fit. Once the coast is clear, you should see the glowing skull shown above. Interact with it to claim the Circlet of Lightning! The skull doesn’t look like it needs any more, anyway.

Guard of the North Sword

You can find this legendary sword at the large castle in Cromville, which is marked on the map above.

Once you reach the castle, you want to follow the route above to reach the dining hall next to the throne room. This is the same dining hall where you can unlock the new arch and Greek column building pieces, by the way!

Then, open the large door on the eastern side of the dining hall. You should see a training dummy right in front of you at the end of the hall. Grab the sword from the dummy and you’re done.

That’s the last unique new gear piece we know of so far in Enshrouded: Wake of the Water, so that ends our list! There are still other new generic pieces you can craft, and we might have missed some accidentally, but we hope this helps you with your collection.

Want to get some more gear? Check out our guide on how to get the Bloodfeather Set as well!

How to Get the Bloodfeather Set in Enshrouded

3. Prosinec 2025 v 08:52

The Bloodfeather armor set was added in Enshrouded’s recent hotfix update and is one of the new stealth-focused sets now available in the game. There is no crafting involved; the Bloodfeather set is obtained through dungeon farming and relies completely on random drops from hidden tombs. If you’re planning to farm the full set, follow this guide to save some time and get some tips on where to go.

Where the Bloodfeather Set Drops

All Bloodfeather armor pieces drop from Hidden Tombs tied to the Glimmer of Eternity questline. There are four total tombs, although one has two entrances, which causes some players to believe there are five. These tombs respawn both enemies and loot on a timer, making them ideal for repeat farming.

Bloodfeather Full Gear Set

You only need one good tomb to farm efficiently. There are five pieces: pants, gloves, a helmet, shoes, and a chest piece.

Best Tomb to Farm the Bloodfeather Set

The easiest and most efficient tomb for Bloodfeather farming is located:

  • Directly east of Lake Heartblood
  • Slightly northwest of Dragondream Lake
Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide - Map Location

This tomb is shorter than the others and contains multiple high-value chest locations with relatively simple navigation.

Step-by-Step Tomb Route

  1. Enter the ruins and dig down into the stairwell. Prepare for Hollow enemies immediately.
  2. Now, cross the wooden beam and clear the enemies waiting for you.
  3. At the first split, go right. The left path only leads to extra enemies with little reward.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  4. You’ll reach a room with stairs going downward. Memorize this room, as you will return here later.
  5. Continue right again, and you’ll find a pool of water with suspicious soil nearby.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  6. Dive straight into the water. A chest at the bottom can drop a Bloodfeather piece.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  7. Swim into the next chamber and climb the ladder or dig through.
  8. At the next drop-down chamber, turn right twice to reach a room with a lore note tied to the tomb quest.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  9. After collecting the note, return to the stair room you passed earlier.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  10. This time, take the left path instead of the right.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  11. Follow the tunnel into another water chamber with spinning saw blades.
  12. Carefully swim past all three blades and head upward.Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide
  13. You’ll find several sarcophagi and a golden chest. These are prime drop locations for the Bloodfeather Helmet and other pieces.

This single tomb alone is enough to farm the entire set if you’re patient with the respawns.

Other Tomb Locations

Although the first tomb is the most farmable, Bloodfeather pieces can drop from other hidden tombs as well.

Tomb Near Gold Rock Saddle

Located just northeast of Gold Rock Saddle near the path under the cliff. This tomb is much larger and full of repeating corridors, making navigation difficult. The Bloodfeather chest piece is known to drop here. Many players report consistent drops from this tomb.

Northwest Tomb Near Still Water Bay

Found in the far northwest corner of the map near the lagoon and Stillwater Bay. This tomb has fewer chest rooms than the others, making it less efficient for farming but still capable of dropping Bloodfeather gear.

Bloodfeather Set Enshrouded Tomb Guide - Map Location Stillwater Bay

Two-Entrance Jungle Tomb

This tomb sits southeast of the northwest tomb near the Elixir Well and west of Starfish Shores. It has two entrances that connect into one massive dungeon, making it extremely easy to get lost. This location is not recommended for farming due to its size and layout.

Farming Tips

  • Place a nearby altar or flame to reset the tomb after clearing it. This is my #1 tip for farming this drop.
  • You should farm daily or every other day, depending on chest respawn timers.
  • Be sure to check underwater chests and sarcophagi, as most Bloodfeather drops come from these. Ensure you do this every run.
  • Just expect random drop rates. It may take multiple runs to complete the full set. Don’t get discouraged.

Final Notes

The Bloodfeather set is entirely RNG-based and tied to hidden tomb exploration. The easiest way to farm it is by repeatedly running the tomb east of Lake Heartblood and resetting it with a nearby altar. With consistent farming and a bit of luck, you can collect the full stealth-focused set without ever needing to touch the more difficult tombs.

My friends finally convinced me to play Enshrouded, and oh boy…

24. Listopad 2025 v 18:33

A player-built house in Enshrouded.

Swing a pickaxe in a dark cave, and you're likely to hit seven survival crafting games that all look and play similar. Probably a couple of roguelites too, in 2025, but that's not what this article is about now, is it?

I freaking love survival crafting games with strong building elements. Minecraft started it for me, and since then, I've played a slew of these types of titles, everything from Ark Survival Evolved to My Time at Portia (okay, that last one is minus the survival, I guess).

But since Valheim, there have been many titles that just feel and play too similarly. I especially have gripes about Palworld and Runescape Dragonwilds being the same game with different systems. At least Palworld kept me busy for a while, but I really didn't enjoy Dragonwilds.

I somehow missed out on Enshrouded, but it has been on my list. Every time I get the itch to play something survival-crafty, I look at a few gameplay videos, decide it's the same damn thing as all the others—same gameplay and grind—and just go back to something familiar.

But with friends like mine, it was only a matter of time before the nagging wore me down and I spent a few bucks on the game. It's really not that expensive, so I'll check it out for a few hours, confirm that I just don't like it, and I'll have my money's worth.

Well, things didn't quite go to plan.

Enshrouded is exactly like the other survival games, except it isn't

Alright, it's been a few weeks and now I somehow have 60 hours in this game I don't like. What the hell happened?

It started like everything, with the beginning. I walked out of that flame cave or whatever, jumped down and activated my glider, and fell to my death. Great start. I hate it already.

After I actually built a glider and hook, I got to building my first little house, which I have since deleted. Thank goodness, or you'd have expected a screenshot. It was an absolute eyesore, all made out of rough wood blocks. But anyway, here's where I was reminded of the fact that Enshrouded was exactly like all the other similar games.

Chop wood, make blocks, repeat to infinity while slowly dying inside because why are you doing the same damn thing again that you were doing in a different game yesterday? At least you had more stuff unlocked in that other game and could build better... wait, I can place individual blocks??

Better to focus on that later, when I have more resources to burn. For now, I went into the shroud for the first time. And what an interesting mechanic that is!

I never played Subnautica, but I imagine it's a similar system (see, nothing new here). Heck, it's the same concept as Dave the Diver, too. However, it was my first foray with something quite like this. It's pretty intense and always stressful going into the Shroud, having limited visibility, and trying your best not to let the timer run out on you. But man, is it fun.

After every raid, I could come back up to my horribly ugly house and relax for a bit, maybe adding some stuff to the house to make it even uglier. And this ebb and flow seemed... different. Not to mention the building system is the best I've seen in a game, ever.

Welcome to the Enshrouded club habit reform

I like my little village. Screenshot by Destructoid

And just like that, I was hooked. The progression is actually painfully slow when compared to other similar games, at least in my noob state. But it is immensely satisfying, and I'm also taking my time with it. When I've had a stressful day, I just sit down and try to make a few improvements to my village. On days where I feel like a challenge, I rush into the most dangerous bit of shroud I can that won't instantly kill me, and I fight for my life, trying to get more valuable resources to upgrade my gear.

It's what I expected, more or less, but just different enough to really get me hooked, and oh boy, am I. The actual messages from my friend when we spoke about the game were "Welcome to the Enshrouded club," and after I complained about it taking up all my time, "Bro, welcome to Enshrouded habit reform."

A player-built village at night in Enshrouded.
I REALLY like my little village so far. Screenshot by Destructoid

I get that some of you reading this are probably way further along than I am in the game, and hence you probably reached some state of burnout already, but for the moment, I can't stop playing. I'm genuinely impressed by the building mechanics, which is where Enshrouded really shines.

The craziest thing is that I'm 60 hours in and have plenty left to explore. There's still so much to do, and I honestly think it'll take me well over 200 hours the way I'm going. And for just $30, that's insane value for money, and it's still in early access!

I'm not crazy about the combat, it's pretty mediocre. The progression might be a bit too slow, and it is grind-heavy. But with the Shroud and building mechanics, this game has instantly breached my top ten most liked list. And it's even better with friends.

If you haven't caved to the pressure of giving it a go, do it. It's a must-play for survival crafting fans and sets a new benchmark for building that I highly doubt will be beaten any time soon.
