So I downloaded the emulator and ROMs but when I open the game the game crashes than I open the game once again and the emulator crashes any fix?btw I’m on iPhone 12 iOS 17

Hi all, I have been struggling with finding a convenient battery option.

So I am working on a project using a pi zero 2w and a couple of DC motors.

The typical 3.7V lipo battery + converter to 5V cannot handle the large current draw.

The RC lipo batteries are great at this, but I need esc to make sure no over discharge. Also I like to have USB c charging.

I wonder if there's any good alternatives?

I'm a final year Mechatronics engineering student in a bit of a dilemma with my fyp topic proposal. My lecturer has tasked me with designing and developing an automated sorting system for parts manufacturing, with a focus on implementing a low-cost labeling system.

Key points of the project:

1. Designing a mechanism to label parts using passive tags.
2. Implementing IoT system to monitor the number of objects and container conditions.
3. Implementing sensors - depends on the goal.
4. Using label detection .eg to trigger DC motors and servo motors for sorting.
5. Incorporating a user interaction e.g a GUI, through physical button presses or smartphone triggering for changing the sorting arrangement.

I've been provided with a Raspberry Pi 5 and Pi Camera 3 for the project, and while I'm comfortable with software programming and electrical skills, my mechanical skills aren't that strong. I'm also relatively new to computer vision and AI.

My main concerns are:

1. How can I effectively utilize the Pi 5 for this project?
2. What could be the best approach for implementing the sorting mechanism, considering my limited mechanical skills?
3. For the user interaction, should I make a GUI interface with PyQt and what's the approach if I wanted to use smartphone as well.
4. Are there any specific resources or advice one can provide to help me tackle this project successfully?

everytime i try to install raspberry pi os 64bit , my sd card is reduced to 509 mb and when i boot up raspberry pi

i dont have display (any monitor) , it is not a live host , it is not detected ..

A month ago, I successfully installed konstakang Android on my Raspberry Pi 5, as I've done with previous Raspberry Pi versions. However, this time I'm facing issues getting Google Apps to work properly, encountering the error "Device is not Certified by Google."

I registered my "Google Service Framework Android ID" here https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/ and received the message that my ID is already registered. Despite repeating the process multiple times and waiting for a month to allow data syncing on Google's side, the problem persists.

Any advice or suggestions on resolving the "Device is not Certified by Google" issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I had made a previous post here regarding errors while trying to use a DHT20 sensor.

The EIO error has gone but it has been replaced with a bad SCL pin error:

Hi, I'm currently working on transferring my Plexserver. I'm a beginner and kinda successfully set up my Raspberry Pi as NAS and installed the Plexserver.

The tricky part: How do I transfer the data (e.g., pictures to series or videos, titles and episode descriptions) from Windows Plex to my Plexserver. I honestly don't have any idea.

I was supecting that I need to copy those files onto the SD card in an appropriate folder, whichever that may be, is this correct? I would be grateful for any advise because I would really like to avoid ending up needing to write/edit the descriptions and upload cover pictures again (since some of the audio books on movies are not on the Plex database).

I’m doing a project that involves measuring the resistance of a component and sending that data to a raspberry pi where python code will do some analysis with it.

I need a multimeter that can connect to the raspberry either through the GPIO pins or usb such that I can tell it what current to output and can then read the measured resistance.

The device also needs to be small, it does not need to have a display, all that matters is it can send the data to the raspberry pi. It should be able to fit comfortably in my hand at the largest.

And obviously I’d like to not spend a ton of money.

Does such a device exist? I’m not an expert with these things so I’m not really sure where or what to look for, or if my specifications are unrealistic.

I am designing a device that includes a couple of stepper motors. There will be a Raspberry Pi or equivalent doing other CPU intensive tasks (GUI, image processing, etc). Although I suppose that both architectures are possible, what approach would you recommend?

a) Directly controlling the stepper drivers from the Raspberry Pi GPIO.

b) Controlling a dedicated microntroller via USB to handle the signals to the stepper drivers?

I am currently at university and I have a smart switch but the smart switch does not work with the university wifi. The other problem that I have is that my power switches off from time to time.

So I have thought of an idea to bypass the whole problem

I want to do the following, but I don’t know how to. When the raspberry pi switches on, it has to automatically connect via a lan cable to the internet. The university’s wifi has a thing where you have to run Windows + R with a command to log in to the wifi and activate the connection(so that also needs to happen automatically)

Then the pi needs to create a wifi hotspot when a connection has been established through the lan cable

Is this possible?

I have a raspberry pi 4 with V2 camera module, I have a working python script that monitors heart rate from the laptop camera.

my project is to use the raspberry pi 4 with the v2 camera module to monitor the heart rate of myself, problem im facing is how do i link my python script to the raspberry pi. my code works on my laptop but idk how to fix it so that it may work on raspberry pi camera module.

I am training a yolov5 model for object detection. I pruned and quantised it using sparse ml and then exported it to onnx format. (Image size 640, batch size 16)

While inferring on my laptop using cpu (and ryzen 5 5600, 16gb ram) I am getting around 20ms per image speed.

Now when I infer the same thing in raspberry pi 5 (A76, 8gb ram) the inference speed is just 220 ms per image

Why is there such a large difference in the inference speed. I get that Pi module may have a slower cpu but 10x difference???

I installed the same libraries in both of them. Do you need to manually configure onnx runtime in raspberry pi for it to increase inference speed??

I got a group pack for the Raspberry Pi 0 W with a few connectors and such, though I don't know much of anything about what coding software or codes to run on said software, or even how to really go about connecting the servos to the appropriate pins on the Pi. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello guys wanted to ask if you can start a server for the game "Project zomboid" on a Raspberry Pi4 4GB ram and then join the server via PC

My goal is incredibly ambitious for someone who has zero experience in R Pi programming.

I found an instructable on how to build a GlaDOS overhead lamp that has servos to move it. I would love nothing more than to be able to add a TTS ChatGPT for communication and a camera that allows for object tracking and facial recognition.

I am currently in the building part where I assemble all of the LEDs and servos and was wondering what the best way to have them controlled by an AI on the R Pi would be.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Side note: I have tried to follow multiple YT vids on how to install the TTS ChatGPT bot but could never get it to work properly, so any help with that would also be very much appreciated.
