The 5 BEST Classes YOU Should MAIN In The War Within – WoW

Od: Andrés

If you simply want to choose the strongest class for your main in WoW: The War Within, you have 5 different classes that are generally considered the best right now.

This is all based on what we know from the beta for The War Within and previews, of course. There are a lot of massive balance changes coming, not to mention the new Hero Talent mechanic!

But, let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? Let’s now take a look at the 5 best classes you should main in WoW: The War Within.

Top 5 Best Classes To Main in WoW: The War Within

Evoker

Evoker Promo CGI

The Dracthyr continue to dominate the meta with their exclusive Evoker class, which is easily one of the best classes in WoW: The War Within. They provide the most utility out of all classes with their Augmentation spec, while also being fantastic Healers with the Preservation spec.

Augmentation overall is possibly the single most useful Class Spec in the entire game right now. It allows the Evoker to provide insane buffs to every other role. More damage for DPS, more survivability for Tanks, and more Mana for Healers… what more could you possibly want from a single class? Besides, the Evoker is also quite capable of dishing out solid damage on its own on top of that.

Preservation, while not quite as game-changing as Augmentation, does make the Evoker into a top-tier Healer. It’s a very unique Healer spec as well, due to its slower pace: you’ll rely on charging up spells to provide massive healing in bursts. These powerful healing spells also have a large AoE, making it easy to keep your entire party topped up no matter how hectic things get.

Simply put, Evoker might be the singular best class in the game currently!

Death Knight

Death Knight Promo CGI

As you might have heard from anyone playing The War Within’s beta, Death Knight is easily one of the best classes in the game currently. Whether you go for the DPS specs (Frost, Unholy) or the Tank spec (Blood), this class has earned its spot at the top of the meta.

All their Hero Talents are pretty great as well and work extremely well with the Death Knight’s innate strengths. This is very important, considering that Hero Talents is a new mechanic in The War Within and some classes weren’t as lucky as Death Knights.

Death Knight is a class with a lot of potential builds and playstyles, as well. You can play as a vampiric Tank who relies on dealing damage to boost their health and strength or you can choose to summon demonic forces to aid you in battle, for example. No matter what, you’ll have some of the best survivability and damage output in The War Within!

Mage

WoW Mage Art

If you’re all about spellcasting, Mage is your best bet for a spellcasting DPS. All 3 of its specs are DPS-focused, and all 3 of them are currently extremely strong. This ensures that the class has long-lasting power and shouldn’t have to worry about any upcoming balance changes, making it an easy pick for one of the best classes in WoW: The War Within.

Similar to the Death Knights, Mages were also blessed with 3 strong sets of Hero Talents as well. These further bolster the Mage’s innate strengths. As you might notice from this list, this is a common trend for all of the best classes in The War Within! These Hero Talents are extremely important.

The only real downside for Mages is that you really do need to master them. Their overwhelming DPS potential comes at the cost of low survivability. However, you’ll easily dominate all your foes if you can overcome these skill issues. Good Mage players are always guaranteed a spot for Raids due to their insane damage output.

Warrior

WoW Warrior Art

Say what you will about how straightforward the Warrior class is to play, you can’t deny that it brings results. This class is all about Melee DPS with the Arms and Fury specs, but the Protection spec can also turn them into a top-tier Tank. Just like with the other best classes in The War Within, all of the specs are viable and extremely strong.

If you go the DPS route, you’ll be dishing out millions of damage with fairly simple skill rotations that are easy to manage. If you choose to be a Tank, your ability to take damage will be second only to Paladins and you also don’t rely too much on Healers. Either way, you’ll be a key asset to any party you’re in!

There are very few downsides to the Warrior currently, and this is definitely the best class for anyone who likes straightforward Melee DPS. If we had to come up with a weakness, you could say that their simplicity means they have very low build variety and they don’t provide much utility to parties. But if that’s no issue for you, Warrior has basically no downsides.

Shaman

WoW Shaman Art

A bit of a surprise, the Shaman class has been climbing the ranks of best classes in WoW: The War Within as we approach the full launch. It has received a lot of fantastic buffs and reworks during the beta, making it into a meta favorite.

It has the potential to Tank no matter its spec as well as provide high DPS with the Elemental or Enchantment specs. What’s more, it can also turn into a top-tier healer with the Restoration spec. That said, the DPS specs seem to be earning the most favor right now simply due to how strong they are currently.

Another thing that makes the Shaman shine is their ability to lay out totems across the battlefield. These totems provide excellent utility to the party, be it by providing Crowd Control, healing, or even deflecting enemy attacks. The new Totemic Hero Talent tree also makes these totems stronger and easier to use, making Shaman shine brighter than ever!

But well, that was the last class on our list of the top 5 best classes to main in WoW: The War Within. If you want a more general and less meta-focused look at all the classes, check out our class picking guide for The War Within.

WoW: How to PREPARE for The War Within Release

Od: Andrés

The War Within expansion for World of Warcraft (WoW) is set to release on August 26th, so you should use the upcoming days to prepare for it.

It’s important to make sure your character is properly ready to take on the new expansion. You should clean your bags of junk and get useful consumables ahead of time, for example. Minimize having to waste time on release instead of playing the new content.

In this guide, we’ll give you tips on how to do just that. We’ll tell you how to make sure that you can be ready to fully enjoy The War Within the exact second it becomes available!

How to Prepare for WoW: The War Within

Clean Out Your Bags

Clean Bags

If there’s one thing you’ll need once WoW: The War Within releases, it’s Gold. What you won’t need is junk items cluttering your bags and making resource gathering needlessly cumbersome. So, it’s a good idea to kill two birds with one stone: start selling all your unnecessary items in the Auction House right now.

This is doubly true if you played through the Dragonflight expansion, as the items from that expansion seem to be selling quite well currently. Either way, we also recommend taking out any useless items you have in your Warband Bank and selling them too. You want as much free space for new items as possible! Make sure to do this on all of your characters, as well.

Get Useful Items

Useful Items

Got rid of all the junk and earned some Gold already? Use that Gold to get any consumables that you’ll need for leveling. Remember, The War Within will raise the Level Cap in WoW to 80 upon release, so you should prepare to level up.

The main items to get are stat-raising Flasks, such as the Phial of Tepid Versatility, for example. This is especially true if you start replacing your gear with new loot from The War Within and get unfavorable stats. Use the boosting Flasks to temporarily increase any stats you need as you keep Leveling, it’ll make the whole process faster.

Make sure you get items that aid mobility, as well. Sure, Skyriding will be the main way to travel in The War Within, but it’s not always available. For those instances, you’ll want to have items like the Goblin Glider Kit and Gunshoes. We also highly recommend Light-Step Hoofplates, as they make your mount faster. You know how it is: the faster you can get around, the more efficiently you’ll be completing quests and leveling up.

For more help with leveling, check out our leveling tips for WoW: The War Within.

Clean the Quest Log

Clean Quest Log

If you still have unfinished quests leading up to the release of WoW: The War Within, you might want to prepare by getting rid of them. Complete any quests you actually want to do and have the time for, but remember that the expansion’s launch is quickly approaching!

As for any quests you don’t want to bother with or simply don’t have the time for… abandon them all. Empty out your quest log so that you can fill it exclusively with quests from The War Within later. It’ll make it much easier to track your progress in the expansion. Besides, you can always return to do the quests you abandoned later.

Take Part in the Radiant Echoes Event

Radiant Echoes Event

The War Within’s pre-patch event is currently ongoing, called “Radiant Echoes.” This event started on July 30th and will last until August 26th, ending as soon as The War Within releases.

This event is mainly meant for catching up with any alts that you didn’t play much during Dragonflight. Nonetheless, it’s worth doing even if that doesn’t apply to you. It grants loads of Veteran ILvl 480 gear, the “This Takes Me Back” Feat of Strength, the “Band of Radiant Echoes” Heirloom Ring, a couple of Warband-bound bags, and even some battle pets and mounts. Don’t miss out on these goodies, go do the event while you can.

Optimize Your Game Settings

Changing Settings

If you’ve been playing World of Warcraft for a while, you should know what to expect once The War Within releases. The floodgates will open and lots of players new and old will start rushing into the game, causing massive lag spikes and other performance issues.

There’s not much you can do about the masses of players jumping into the game, but you can try to minimize its effects on your client’s performance. Disable add-ons you don’t really need and lower your graphics settings as much as possible. It’s better to make sure that the game runs well during the expansion’s launch, even if you’re gaming in potato mode for a bit!

Log Out at Dalaran

Dalaran

Once you feel you’re done and don’t need to prepare anymore for the release of WoW: The War Within, just go to Dalaran and log out there. Dalaran is the starting point for The War Within, based on the information we know from the beta and various previews. Having your character parked there will make getting into the expansion much quicker!

Additionally, we do recommend logging into all of your characters after The War Within releases and the Level Cap is raised to 80. Just log in and log out if you don’t want to play with these characters so that they start getting the Rested bonus.

Other than that, though, follow all our steps and you will be all set to play The War Within expansion for WoW on release. It’s only a few days away now, it’s right around the corner!

WoW: Best Leveling Tips For The War Within

Od: Andrés

The War Within is raising the level cap in World of Warcraft (WoW)to Level 80, so we have our best leveling tips ready to make the process less of a chore.

There are a lot of tried-and-true classics for leveling that still work, such as making sure you get the Rested bonus. However, some neat new mechanics make leveling easier in this expansion, such as the Warband Mentor system.

In this guide, we’ll give you our best leveling tips for WoW: The War Within so that you can get that Level 80 cap in no time flat!

Best Leveling Tips | WoW: The War Within

Make Sure to Have Helpful Items

Useful Items

We’ve covered this before in our guide on how to prepare for the release of The War Within, but it’s worth repeating here. Once you have amassed a decent amount of Gold, you need to get items that’ll make the leveling process less of a pain.

Sure, Skyriding is the main way to travel in The War Within, but it’s not always available. For those instances, you’ll want to have items like the Goblin Glider Kit and Gunshoes. We also highly recommend Light-Step Hoofplates, as they make your mount faster. You know how it is: the faster you can get around, the more efficiently you’ll be completing quests and leveling up.

Get Rested

The War Within - The Story So Far Promo Shot

As a last quick tip before we dive further into this guide, make sure to get the Rested buff if you wish to maximize your XP gains. You just have to hang out with your character at inns or any city to start accumulating Rest, which will multiply your XP gain.

This also works for logged-off characters, so we recommend logging in and out of your alts and leaving them at inns or cities. Start accumulating Rest on them while you play with your main so that leveling is quicker later.

Look For Campaign Quests & Focus on Them

Campaign Quests icon

One noticeable change with the release of The War Within in WoW is that the quest icons on the map have been changed. Most notably, the Campaign quests now have a shield-shaped icon with an exclamation mark as shown above.

Campaign Quests are the main source of XP, as well. You’ll want to focus on doing these first of all while you’re still leveling, so familiarize yourself with the new quest icons so you can track them easily.

Do World Quests & Bonus Objectives

World Quests

Completing the main Campaign for The War Within will also unlock World Quests and Events across the map. You don’t actually need to reach Level 80 to access these! You’ll also unlock Adventure Mode which gives your other characters more freedom and the Earthen Allied Race Quests.

Most importantly for Leveling here is that World Quests can give you a massive boost of XP upon completion. Simply put, you should focus on doing these if you want to level up efficiently.

Bonus Objectives

Similarly, you’ll see various Bonus Objectives pop up across the map, like the example above. These are another type of World Quest and they grant massive amounts of XP when completed. Make sure that you do these whenever they are available.

Plan Out Your Side Quests

Warband Rep

Thanks to the release of The War Within in WoW, Renown and Reputation are now Warband-bound, which makes leveling alts easier. You no longer need to complete all of the Side Quests with all of your characters. Instead, spread them out across your various characters so that they can all gain XP from completing them.

You should complete the entirety of a Covenant’s questline with a single character, however. For example, doing all quests for the Council of Dornogal on your main and all quests for the Hallowfall Arathi on an alt. That’s just to ensure that you get to see the full questline.

Anyway, the main takeaway here is that you can spread out Side Quests across characters to make it easier to level up alts. Doing so won’t punish you by making you miss out on Renown and Reputation rewards this time around!

Dive Into Delves & Dungeons

Delve

Delves are one of the first new mechanics you encounter in The War Within. They’re short instanced adventures you can complete either solo or with others, and they are a fantastic source of XP. More Delves become available as you progress through the expansion’s Campaign, and we highly recommend doing them.

Dungeon Finder - Follower Dungeons

Similarly, you should also complete Dungeons as part of leveling. Frankly, it’s unlikely that you’ll reach Level 80 without completing at least a few of them. Worry not, you can easily complete all of the dungeons in The War Within by using the Follower Dungeons and playing with NPCs.

Don’t Ignore Professions

Gathering Profession

Professions are, as always, part of our best leveling tips for WoW and this is still true in The War Within. Using your Profession provides a nice amount of bonus XP to your character, which is especially true for Gathering Professions this time around.

If you want to min-max your leveling, you should pick Herbalism and Mining as your Professions. You’ll encounter many gathering nodes as you play through The War Within’s campaign and explore the new content and each single gathering node will reward you with some XP.

Alternatively, all Crafting Professions can get a lot of bonus XP whenever they craft one of the new items for the first time. However, this bonus XP seems to have a cap and should only be about 2 levels worth of XP, similar to how it worked in Dragonflight. Nothing to scoff at, though!

Alts Have It Easier

Warband System

Another important part of the leveling process in The War Within is the Warband Mentor system. Anytime you get one of your characters to Level 80 they will be marked as a Warband Mentor, which makes all other characters in your Warband earn 5% more XP from all sources. That means it’s a good idea to focus on leveling up your main to 80 before you even start playing with your alts.

Thrall Skip

This catch-up mechanic is aided by things like the Adventure Mode we mentioned previously, which allows alts to do areas in any order. What’s more, your alts can skip the introductory part of the campaign if you’ve already progressed far enough with another character! Just talk to Thrall at Magni’s Encampment and choose to skip until you reach Dornogal.

But well, that’s the last on the list of our best leveling tips for WoW: The War Within. You should now know everything you need to make the leveling process smoother and hit that new Level 80 cap ASAP!

WoW The War Within: New / Returning Players Guide

Od: Andrés

WoW: The War Within is right around the corner, so we’re sure there are lots of new and returning players eager to dive into it.

Of course, World of Warcraft is pretty challenging to get into, all things considered. It’s been around for like 2 decades now, so there’s a massive number of complex systems and content to learn about. Whether you’re new or returning, there’s a lot to learn about to get into the new expansion!

In this guide, we’ll talk about the most important things you should know about so that you can start to dive into WoW and The War Within more easily.

New / Returning Players Guide | WoW: The War Within

Class Specialization & Hero Talents

Mage Talents example

Classes in WoW currently have one class-wide Talent tree, but you can also choose from 1 of 3 different Specializations that provide an additional Talent tree. These two Talent trees define your character’s role and playstyle. On top of that, The War Within is also adding a third tree known as the Hero Talent tree. It’s the smaller tree shown in the middle.

These Hero Talents are based on various key characters from WoW lore and every Specialization gets to pick 1 tree out of 2. Essentially, they’re the cherry on top to expand your class. Maxing them out requires 10 Hero Talent points, which you’ll get naturally as you level up to the new Level Cap of 80. You can max out the Hero Talent tree with no worries!

Picking the right Class is important since they all play differently, so check out our class-picking guide for The War Within if you want to know what to expect from each one.

The Warband System

Warband official promo shot

One of the biggest changes coming to WoW with The War Within is the Warband sytem.

To simplify things, a “Warband” refers to all of your characters collectively. That means your main and any alts you’ve created are all your Warband. All characters will able to access features like the Warband Bank, which is a loot stash shared between all your characters. Your Warband also shares certain Feats of Strength (Achievements) and other account-wide progression systems.

Warband Rep

Most notably, The War Within is making it so that your Renown and Reputation are shared by your Warband. Renown and Reputation are a progression system tied to completing the quests for various factions across the expansion, and their rewards will now be shared amongst all your characters. For the most part, that means you no longer need to complete all side quests with all your characters!

In short, the Warband system is an account-wide progression system that makes it easier for you to maintain multiple characters.

Dungeon Difficulties

Dungeon Finder

Dungeons in WoW: The War Within currently come in 3 basic difficulties. From easiest to hardest, they are: Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. These basic difficulties each scale up the Dungeon’s enemies to make them tougher, but they also give you much better loot.

You can queue up for Normal and Heroic Dungeons from anywhere by using the Dungeon Finder tool. Just press the “I” key to bring it up. Mythic dungeons require you to make groups yourself and manually go to the dungeon, however.

You can also clear certain dungeons as Follower Dungeons. These will let you select NPCs to fill your party instead of players, but they work the same as regular dungeons otherwise.

Mythic+ Dungeon Promo Shot

Aside from those basic difficulties, there’s also Mythic+ which is exclusively for endgame content. To enter these Dungeons, at least one player in your party must have a Mythic Keystone. You can get Mythic Keystones by completing regular Mythic dungeons, participating in Mythic+ Dungeons led by others, or purchasing them from Keystone Vendors in cities.

Mythic+ Dungeons rotate every season, but there are always 8 different ones to choose from. They are much more challenging than standard Dungeons, so be well-prepared! These dungeons require you to beat all the bosses and enough trash mobs within a time limit, so you’ll need to be efficient. Completing these dungeons will give you and your allies high-end loot.

Understanding Item Level & Item Upgrades

Item Level

Besides your character’s level, you also have to pay attention to your gear’s Item Level (referred to as ILvl or ilvl). Whether you’re a new or returning player, ILvl can seem confusing in WoW: The War Within but it’s relatively simple.

Character ILVL

An item’s ILvl is simply telling you how strong that item’s stats are. The higher the stats, the higher the ILvl will be. You can use it to quickly tell how good an item is at a glance when compared to other items. At the same time, the average ILvl of all your equipped gear will define your character’s ILvl. Having higher ILvl is required to be able to tackle higher-difficulty Dungeons and Raids!

Item Upgrade

Some items can also be upgraded using Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These are special currencies you get from pretty much everything. That means completing Quests of any type, Dungeons, Raids, etc. Of course, harder content will reward more of both types of currencies, but you’ll get them constantly by just playing the game.

If you’ve played the previous expansion, Dragonflight, these currencies are identical to Flightstones and Awakened Crests. They simply renamed them.

To see if an item is upgradeable, just check its description. Upgradeable items will have a text like “Upgrade Level”. This is followed by how many times it’s been upgraded and the maximum number of upgrades possible. You can visit any Item Upgrade NPC in the various cities across the game to upgrade your items. Just bring enough Valorstones and Harbinger Crests and upgrade to increase an item’s level!

Returning Players: Understand the Level Squish

The War Within - The Story So Far Promo Shot

One big oddity that returning players will notice in WoW: The War Within is that their level is now different than it used to be. That’s because the Shadowlands expansion introduced a “level squish”, reducing the Level Cap from 120 back to 60.

While it was a controversial change, it was done to make numbers more manageable and speed up the leveling process going forward. However, it does mean that your old characters will no longer be at the max level if you had reached it pre-Shadowlands!

What’s more, the release of The War Within will raise the Level Cap further to Level 80. If you want to get up to speed by reaching the level cap, check out our best leveling tips for WoW: The War Within!

Nonetheless, that brings us to the end of our WoW: The War Within guide for new and returning players. We hope this helps you dive into the game and its latest expansion a bit more easily, but there’s still a lot more to see and learn in this incredibly deep game.

If you’re already playing WoW, make sure to check out our guide on how to best prepare for The War Within’s release as well.

Enshrouded – All Fossils in the Revelwoods Biome

Od: Andrés

Update 0.7.3.0. for Enshrouded has added a bunch of neat collectibles you can find around the world, such as all the fossils in the Revelwoods biome.

These fossils are required for the new “Finding Fossils” quests, though they don’t really do much by themselves. They’re simply neat collectibles that you can find while exploring and display at your base!

In this guide, we’ll tell you all of the known locations for fossils in the Revelwoods biome.

All Fossils in the Revelwoods Biome | Enshrouded 0.7.3.0

Enshrouded - Back to the Shroud Update gameplay

There are four fossils in the Revelwoods Biome in Enshrouded. They are the Gastropods, Single Gastropod, Trilobites, and Trilobite Imprint.

However, you should know that none of them have a set spawn location. There are spots where fossils always spawn, but which ones you get are different for everybody. As such, we can’t tell you where to get any specific fossil!

This also means that there are actually more than 4 locations where you can find all of the Revelwoods fossils in Enshrouded. Just in case, we’ll be telling you every single location we know of!

Location 1 – Mark of Sameth Barrels

Mark of Sameth location

The first location we’ll check out is the Mark of Sameth. It’s west of the Ancient Spire in the Revelwoods and it’s pretty easy to reach if you have a decent glider. Make sure to bring a pickaxe and some sort of fire, such as a Fireball spell.

Mark of Sameth barrels

Once you reach the Mark of Sameth encampment, enter it and go straight ahead going northwest. You should eventually notice a set of red barrels to your right.

Explosions!

Use fire on them to blow them up and to create a tiny crater.

Mark of Sameth barrels fossil

The fossil will be in the middle of the crate after the explosion.

Location 2 – Mark of Sameth Cave

Mark of Sameth cave

This location is also in the Mark of Sameth area, so you can check it right after the previous one. Just go back to the entrance to the Mark of Sameth encampment and look for a cave on the left cliff.

Gliding to the cave

The fastest way to reach it is by climbing the cliff to the right of the Mark of Sameth camp, but it can be fairly tricky. Once you reach a high enough part of the cliff, you can just glide down into the cave.

Cleaning the rubble

When you’re inside the small cave, use a pickaxe to clean up the rubble behind the chest.

Mark of Sameth cave fossil

The fossil will appear from under the rubble! Pick it up and you’re done here.

Location 3 – Eastern Cave

Eastern Cave location

This fossil location is on a non-descript cave on the eastern part of the Revelwoods biome. We’ve marked it on the map above, as well as the Ancient Spire in the Revelwoods for reference.

Eastern Cave fossil

Simply enter the cave and check the western wall. You should find some rubble with a red glow marking the fossil.

Location 4 – Revelwoods Frontier Fissure

Revelwoods Frontier Fissure

You can find this fossil location far to the east of the Revelwoods Ancient Spire. As you can see on the map, it’s close to a Flame Sanctum and a Catacombs. However, the spot is covered with Shroud so make sure that you’re ready to head in.

Revelwoods Frontier Fissure entrance

Once you’re in the area marked above, look for a fissure full of Shroud on the ground. It’ll be near a large rock covered in mushrooms and a cliff covered in crystals.

Revelwoods Frontier Fissure fossil

Head into the fissure and go to its northernmost part to find a large round sedimentary rock. The fossil will be sitting on top of the rock, marked by the telltale red glow.

Location 5 – Trade Outpost “Old Rye”

Trade Outpost “Old Rye” location

For this one, you will need to head into the Shroud-covered area in Revelwoods and find the Trade Outpost “Old Rye”. Due to the Shroud making it extremely hard to see in the area, we recommend following the map to find the outpost. Also, be sure you’re aptly prepared to traverse the Shroud and deal with the enemies in the area.

Gliding to the outpost

We recommend fast-traveling to the Ancient Spire in the Revelwoods biome and gliding down into the Shroud. It’s the fastest and easiest way to reach this trade outpost!

Trade Outpost “Old Rye” glow

It can be hard to see in the area, but you’re likely to find the Trade Outpost “Old Rye” by looking for the red glow of the items inside.

Trade Outpost “Old Rye” fossil

Once you enter the outpost, just look on the ground to find one of the fossils.

Location 6 – Spider Cave

Spider Cave location

You can find this one directly south of the Ancient Spire in the Revelwoods, inside one of the many caves in the area. Make sure to have a Grappling Hook for this one!

Spider Cave entrance

Once you reach the spot marked on the map, look for a cave entrance covered in bioluminescent mushrooms.

Spider Cave fossil up the ledge

Head directly inside the cave and then take the first right you can. You should instantly see a red glow in front of you on an upper ledge. Use your Grappling Hook to pull yourself toward the ledge.

Spider Cave fossil

You’ll find the fossil hidden beneath the spider webs up on the ledge.

That’s all of the fossils and their locations in the Revelwoods biome in Enshrouded! There are more locations than fossils, so you shouldn’t need to visit all of these locations in one playthrough. Nonetheless, we hope this helped you get these nice collectibles!

Should You Pull For Zhezhi In Wuthering Waves?

Od: Andrés

Zhezhi is one of the upcoming Resonators for Wuthering Waves 1.2, which has everyone wondering if they should pull for her.

Not much is known about her, but we do know that she’s a master painter. As a Resonator, she’ll use her painting skills to summon allies and damage foes. She’ll serve the role of a Glacio Sub DPS, being capable of providing damage as well as support.

In this article, we’ll look at Zhezhi’s kit and help you decide if she’s worth pulling for!

Should You Pull For Zhezhi? | Wuthering Waves 1.2

Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves

Let’s get one thing out of the way first: you should definitely pull for Zhezhi if you like her. As simple as that! Whether it’s her design, character, or kit. No reason to ignore her if you already like her, right?

It’s also worth noting that Zhezhi’s kit is still not officially revealed. That means that everything we know about her kit comes from leaked information. There’s solid evidence to give credence to the leaks, but it does mean that her kit is subject to change before she’s publicly available.

That aside, let’s go over what Zhezhi brings to the table!

Breakdown of Zhezhi’s Basics

Zhezhi combat in Wuthering Waves

Zhezhi is a Glacio Resonator who uses Rectifiers as her weapon. Her role is Sub DPS, as she can deal solid damage in bursts but mostly relies on buffing the Main DPS. On top of that, she can summon Inklit Spirits which stay in the field even after she switches with another Resonator, which allows her to deal damage from off-field.

The main part of her kit entire kit is her Outro Skill, which provides a substantial buff to the incoming Resonator’s Resonance Skill. This means that Zhezhi excels when supporting DPS Resonators who rely heavily on their Resonance Skills, such as Jinhsi and Changli. Coincidentally, those are two of the strongest characters in the game as well!

Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves

Aside from that, her Resonance Liberation allows her to summon Inklit Spirits whenever the active Resonator deals damage. This stays active even after she switches with another Resonator. These Inklit Spirits count as a Coordinated Attack and deal Glacio DMG, adding some extra power to your main DPS’s offense.

Conclusions | Should You Pull?

Zhezhi combat in Wuthering Waves

Based on what we described, we definitely think that you should pull for Zhezhi if you already have a strong Main DPS in your Wuthering Waves team. But that’s only if you don’t already have a better support Resonator, such as Verina.

Zhezhi will be especially useful to players who have Jinhsi but don’t have Verina to support her. She should also work well as a Sub DPS in teams centered around Lingyang, as they’re both Glacio Resonators.

Verina in Wuthering Waves

However, we think you should skip Zhezhi if you already have the Support role covered in your main team. We don’t think that Zhezhi will outshine Verina as a Support, simply put. She also won’t be as strong as a DPS to make up for the lesser Support potential.

This ultimately means that Zhezhi is somewhat niche. She’s a pretty solid character, but she’s not a must-have because others are better at her role. Pull for her if you like her or don’t have Verina to complement Jinhsi, but you can save your pulls otherwise!

Honkai: Star Rail: How to Unlock March 7th Hunt Path

Od: Andrés

Update 2.4 for Honkai: Star Rail has added a new story mission that allows you to unlock the Path of The Hunt for March 7th.

March 7th has always been a decent defensive unit thanks to the Path of Preservation. However, it seems she’s now eager to take up martial arts and fight more directly. She’ll undergo rigorous training and become worthy of following the Path of The Hunt!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock this new offensive form for March 7th.

How to Unlock March 7th Hunt Path | Honkai: Star Rail

Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue in the quest log

You’ll automatically get “The Hunt” Path for March 7th as you progress through the Trailblaze Continuation Mission “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (I)”. This mission was added to the game during patch 2.4. It should unlock once you reach Trailblaze Level 21 and it’s a continuation of the Xianzhou Luofu arc.

Since it’s a continuation of the Xianzhou Luofu arc, you should also complete the entire Xianzhou Luofu arc first. Its final mission is “Xianzhou Luofu — Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead.” While you can use the Finality’s Vision feature to do the “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (I)” early, it won’t unlock The Hunt Path for March 7th. It’ll only unlock Eidolons!

Starting the mission

Once you’ve met the prerequisites, all you have to do is to head back to the Astral Express. There will be a computer with a message, as shown above. Interact with it to automatically start the mission.

Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (I) cutscene

Now, “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (I)” is a very long mission. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete in its entirety, and it’s also pretty linear. Most of the mission involves dialogue as well, so we recommend just using the in-game quest log for guidance.

March 7th’s Training Arc: March to Mastery

March to Mastery

Eventually, you’ll reach a point in the mission titled “March to Mastery: A Star Is Born”. You’ll switch control over to March 7th herself as she trains under Yanging and Yanli.

Path of The Hunt unlocked

Complete the tutorial battle using March 7th’s The Hunt Path and you’ll instantly unlock it for permanent use!

Switch button

You can now switch between The Hunt and Preservation Paths for March 7th at any time. It works the same as switching your Trailblazer’s Path. Just click on “Switch” while viewing her in the “Character Details” screen.

But well, there you have it! That’s all you need to know to unlock the Path of The Hunt for March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail. On the topic of update 2.4, we also have a guide covering all 12 new Hexanexus: Remake puzzles.

Honkai: Star Rail – All 12 Hexanexus Remake Puzzles

Od: Andrés

If you remember the Hexanexus puzzle in Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll likely be surprised to know that the 2.4 update has added 12 new Hexanexus: Remake puzzles to The Shackling Prison area.

These puzzles work fairly differently from the older Hexanexus puzzles, mind you. Nonetheless, they follow the same general setup. You’re given a bunch of cubes and two hint panels, make the cubes match the hints to solve them!

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find all of the 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in The Shackling Prison and how to solve each one of them.

All 12 Hexanexus Remake Puzzles | The Shackling Prison

Hexanexus: Remake #1

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #1 Location

This is the first of the Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail, so it serves as a tutorial for what to expect with all 12 of these puzzles. It’s found near the entrance to The Shackling Prison F1, as shown above.

The overall setup is similar to the original Hexanexus puzzles in the game. You have a set of cubes in the middle with some floating panels to their sides. Your goal is to ensure that the cubes in the middle match the hints given by the panels.

Hexanexus: Remake #1

The main difference is that you don’t rotate the cubes this time. Instead, you have to add cubes and stack them to match the hints. Just click on any of the cubes in the middle, then click on the white cubes to add a new cube where you want. You can see how many cubes you can add in the top right corner of the screen.

Hexanexus: Remake #1

If you add a cube to the wrong spot, the hint panels will turn red. You can undo a step or restart the entire puzzle by using the commands on the bottom left corner of the screen.

Hexanexus: Remake #1

For this first puzzle, you just have to stack two cubes in the closest corner. It should look like the image above!

Completing these puzzles will reward you with Relics as well as a Hex Pass for each puzzle. We’ll talk more about the Hax Passes later on, as you’ll need to get at least 6 to make use of them.

Hexanexus: Remake #2

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #2 Location

You can find this Hexanexus: Remake puzzle in the easternmost part of The Shackling Prison F1.

Hexanexus: Remake #2

Stack one cube atop of the furthest, middle, and closest cubes to solve this one. You’ll want to form a line across the cubes, as shown in the image above.

Hexanexus: Remake #2

The finished puzzle should look like the image above!

Hexanexus: Remake #3

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #3 Location

This puzzle is in the northwestern part of The Shackling Prison B1.

Hexanexus: Remake #3

To start solving this, stack two cubes on the furthest cube. As always, use the image above as a reference to what it should look like.

Hexanexus: Remake #3

Then stack your remaining two cubes on the middle cube in the bottom section. They should be in front of the other two you already placed if you didn’t rotate the camera. Puzzle solved!

Hexanexus: Remake #4

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #4 Location

For this Hexanexus: Remake puzzle, go to the southernmost part of The Shackling Prison B3.

Hexanexus: Remake #4

Notice that there are two layers to this puzzle, with the topmost layer having two single cubes in each corner.

Hexanexus: Remake #4

Stack one cube on top of both of those corners, using the image above as a reference.

Hexanexus: Remake #4

Then place one more cube on the right side of the closest cube you just placed.

Hexanexus: Remake #4

Right after you place that cube, click on it and place one final cube in the middle of the puzzle.

Hexanexus: Remake #4

The final result should look like the image above.

Hexanexus: Remake #5

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #5 Location

You can find this puzzle directly east of the previous one in The Shackling Prison B3.

Hexanexus: Remake #5

First, add one cube to the furthermost side of the bottom layer of cubes.

Hexanexus: Remake #5

Then, stack one more puzzle on top of the middle stack.

Hexanexus: Remake #5

Lastly, add one cube to each side of the topmost cube in the stack.

Hexanexus: Remake #5

It should look like the image above, solving the puzzle!

Hexanexus: Remake #6

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #6 Location

Basically halfway through these 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail now! You can do this one in the northern section of The Shackling Prison B3.

Hexanexus: Remake #6

First, rotate the camera to the right so that you’re seeing the opposite end of the cubes. Then click on the closest cube and place one cube on the right.

Hexanexus: Remake #6

Next, click on the cube you just placed and place a second cube under it.

Hexanexus: Remake #6

Lastly, rotate the camera further and click on the lone bottom layer cube. Place a cube to its left, it should be positioned below the other two cubes you already placed.

Hexanexus: Remake #6

As always, use the image above as a reference for what the finished puzzle should look like.

Hex Club chat

Completing this puzzle will also get you your 6th Hex Pass. Check your messages in-game and complete the conversation with the Hex Club to be able to meet Seymour and turn them in. This will also unlock more puzzles for you to solve! For more details, we have a guide on how to use your Hex Passes.

Hexanexus: Remake #7

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #3 Location

The second half of the puzzles will only appear once you’ve already turned in 6 Hex Passes to Seymour, as we mentioned above. They’ll reuse the locations of the first 6, so you’ll need to have completed those already. This one will appear in the northwestern part of The Shackling Prison B1, which is the same spot as puzzle #3.

Hexanexus: Remake #7

To start with this one, place a stack of three cubes smack dab in the middle of the puzzle area.

Hexanexus: Remake #7

Then, click on the topmost cube you just placed and put another cube on the furthest side.

Hexanexus: Remake #7

Lastly, click on the last cube you placed and then place a final cube on the right side.

Hexanexus: Remake #7

The finished puzzle should look like the image above. It’s a pretty simple one to kickstart the second half of Hexaneus: Remake, right?

Hexanexus: Remake #8

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #1 Location

You can find this puzzle near the entrance in The Shackling Prison F1, in the same spot where you previously did puzzle #1.

Hexanexus: Remake #8

First, stack two cubes on the leftmost end of the puzzle in the bottom layer.

Hexanexus: Remake #8

Then, click on the topmost cube of the stack you just placed and put a final cube on the furthest side.

Hexanexus: Remake #8

Essentially, you just have to make both ends of the puzzle connect to solve it.

Hexanexus: Remake #9

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #2 Location

This Hexanexus: Remake puzzle in the easternmost part of The Shackling Prison F1. That’s where you previously did the 2nd puzzle if you’ve been following our guide.

Hexanexus: Remake #9

To start, place a singular cube on top of the closest corner.

Hexanexus: Remake #9

Then, click on the leftmost end of the bottom layer and place two cubes on the right side.

Hexanexus: Remake #9

Lastly, click on the last cube you placed and stack two more cubes on top of it.

Hexanexus: Remake #10

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #4 Location

Go to the southernmost part of The Shackling Prison B3 to find this puzzle in the same spot as #4.

Hexanexus: Remake #10

To start, add one cube on top of both of the furthest cubes.

Hexanexus: Remake #10

Then, turn the camera to the right so that you can see the back side of the puzzle. Add cubes to the middle and bottom layers of the backside.

Hexanexus: Remake #10

Lastly, finish the top layer by adding another cube to the two you added at the start of the puzzle. Use the image above as a reference.

Hexanexus: Remake #10

This one was a tad trickier than the others, that’s for sure…

Hexanexus: Remake #11

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #5 Location

Following the trend, go east from #10 in The Shackling Prison B3 to find this one. It’s where you previously solved Hexanexus: Remake puzzle #5.

Hexanexus: Remake #11

Place one cube on the leftmost end of the puzzle, on the middle layer.

Hexanexus: Remake #11

Then, click on that cube you just placed and add an extra cube to the furthest side.

Hexanexus: Remake #11

From the previous cube, add yet another cube to the right side. It should be floating in the very middle part of the puzzle area.

Hexanexus: Remake #11

Lastly, turn the camera around and click on the second cube you placed for this puzzle. Add the final cube under it.

Hexanexus: Remake #11

Yet another puzzle solved, and it was the 11th one so far! That means there’s only one left…

Hexanexus: Remake #12

Hexanexus Remake Puzzle #6 Location

At long last, this is the last of all 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail 2.4. It’s in the northern section of The Shackling Prison B3, which is where we previously did puzzle #6.

Hexanexus: Remake #12

You start with a single cube placed for this one.

Hexanexus: Remake #12

Click on that lone cube and give it some friends by stacking two cubes on top of it.

Hexanexus: Remake #12

Then, rotate the camera slightly to the right so that you’re seeing the puzzle from the side. Add one cube to the closest and rightmost sides of the middle layer.

Hexanexus: Remake #12

Next up, click on the single cube in the bottom layer and add two cubes to the right.

Hexanexus: Remake #12

Turn the camera around back to the left so that you’re facing the puzzle straight ahead. Add two cubes to the right side of the lone cube in the topmost layer.

At long last, you’ve done it… you’ve solved all 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in The Shackling Prison in Honkai: Star Rail 2.4! Make sure to return to Seymour and give him all of your Hex Passes to get a well-deserved achievement. Congratulations!

Honkai: Star Rail – How to Use Hex Pass

Od: Andrés

The new 2.4 update for Honkai: Star Rail lets you collect a new item known as the Hex Pass, but it doesn’t make their use too clear.

These Hex Passes are rewarded for completing the new Hexanexus puzzles in 2.4. There are 12 puzzles, with each puzzle rewarding a singular Hex Pass upon completion. But what exactly do you even use the Hex Pass for?

Well, that’s what we’re here to answer! In this guide, we’ll tell you how to use all of your Hex Passes in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to Use the Hex Pass

Hexanexus Remake puzzle

You can only use the Hex Pass in Honkai: Star Rail when you get sets of 6. You can get these Hex Passes by completing the new Hexanexus: Remake puzzles in The Shackling Prison as part of version 2.4 of the game. Each puzzle will give you one Hex Pass, so your first goal is to solve at least 6 of these puzzles.

If you need help, we have a guide on how to solve all 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles!

Messages icon

Once you have at least 6 Hex Passes, check your messages in-game. Just click on the textbox icon near your minimap.

Hex Club chat

Look for a message from the Hex Club and read it. Reply to the messages and complete the conversation until you’re invited to visit the creator of Hexanexus in The Shackling Prison. This will start the “Hexanexus: Development Team Interview” mission.

Grimfrost Hold (I) anchor

For this mission, you just have to head to the spot marked on the map above. It’s the westernmost part of B1 in The Shackling Prison, most easily reachable from the Grimfrost Hold (I) Space Anchor.

Seymour location

Once you reach the marked spot, you’ll be able to talk with the Head Think-Tank of the Hex Club: Seymour. Talk with him and you’ll be able to trade in 6 of your Hex Passes to “interview” him about Hexanexus and how he managed to land himself in prison. This will unlock the second half of Hexanexus: Remake puzzles, as well.

This Cube, Our Lives

Yup, that’s all you can use your Hex Pass for in Honkai: Star Rail! Kinda disappointing, huh? Well, you can at least return to Seymour once you finish all 12 Hexanexus: Remake puzzles to turn in all of the Hex Passes. Doing so will unlock the “This Cube, Our Lives” achievement and reward you with 5 Stellar Jades.

Deaf interpreters are sign language interpreters who are also deaf. A Deaf interpreter will work with a hearing ASL interpreter to provide effective communication, especially for deaf adults who have experienced a href=https://www.aclu.org/news/disability-rights/language-access-is-a-civil-right-for-both-children-and-adultslanguage deprivation/a — a neurodevelopmental disorder with negative and long-lasting effects on the deaf adult’s language, cognitive, and socioemotional development. Long periods of incarceration with no ability to communicate with other people who know ASL can compound the effects of language deprivation. Hearing-sign language interpreters alone are typically unable to bridge the communication gap between deaf adults with language deprivation and their supervision officers. This communication gap can often lead to serious and preventable misunderstandings between the deaf person and the supervision officer that a Deaf interpreter could solve./p pFor example, in one instance a probation officer relied on a single, hearing interpreter — present on a computer — to explain a form with confusing conditions to a client. The client struggled to understand the interpreter and asked to take a photo of the form so he could ask the ACLU’s legal team to provide a Deaf interpreter to translate the form in a way he understood. Had the ACLU not stepped in to secure a Deaf interpreter, our client would not have fully understood what the form said, nor would he have been able to ask several clarifying questions, and would have risked reincarceration. This settlement ensures that any use of video interpretation, known as VRI, is clear, not relegated to a small cell phone screen, and that supervisees actually understand the directions being given./p div class=mp-md wp-link div class=wp-link__img-wrapper a href=https://www.aclu.org/cobb-v-georgia-department-of-community-supervision/settlement-agreement target=_blank tabindex=-1 /a /div div class=wp-link__title a href=https://www.aclu.org/cobb-v-georgia-department-of-community-supervision/settlement-agreement target=_blank NOTICE TO THE CLASS: COBB V. Historically, the agency provided critical information about supervision only in writing. With this a href=https://www.aclu.org/cobb-v-georgia-department-of-community-supervision/settlement-agreementsettlement/a, a lack of fluency in reading or writing English will no longer be a barrier to successfully completing supervision. If the deaf or hard-of-hearing person cannot understand written documents due to their disability, GDCS has agreed to use appropriate accommodations and provide the written information in another accessible format. This will help prevent future incidents of confusion when people receive documents with important instructions that they do not understand. We have also produced a href=https://www.aclu.org/cobb-v-georgia-department-of-community-supervision/georgia-department-of-community-supervision-ada-policyASL and plain language translations of the new ADA Policy/a so that signers and those with limited literacy can access the ADA policy at any time./p pMany people on supervision in Georgia are required to complete programs or classes as a condition of their supervision, but, in the past, the sponsors of many of these programs have refused to provide ASL interpreters and other necessary accommodations to our clients. GDCS will now require that the providers of any classes or programs required for people on supervision, comply with federal disability laws by providing necessary accommodations, such as interpreters, for effective communication./p pWhile we’ve won this fight in Georgia, the work is not yet done. Every parole and probation department in the country has the obligation under federal disability laws to provide not only effective communication to deaf and hard-of-hearing people, but also any a href=https://www.aclu.org/publications/reducing-barriers-a-guide-to-obtaining-reasonable-accommodations-for-people-with-disabilities-on-supervisionreasonable accommodations/a that people with disabilities need to have an equal opportunity to successfully complete supervision. In reality, probation and parole departments regularly fail to determine whether their people with disabilities need accommodations, let alone provide those accommodations./p pRight now, we’re a href=https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/class-action-lawsuit-challenges-discriminatory-post-conviction-supervision-system-in-washington-d-cchallenging this failure/a in Washington, D.C., where people with mental health disabilities are nearly twice as likely to face reincarceration or other punishment for “technical violations,” or minor rule violations like missing an appointment with a supervision officer. Tribes 3 Rivals: Roles Guide and How to Play Them

Od: Andrés

As a chaotic team-based FPS, Tribes 3: Rivals will require every player to know the different roles and how to play them.

Playing a defensive role that stays at the base requires a very different playstyle than the flag-stealing Cappers, for example!

To make things a tad simpler for you, we’ll go over all of the competitive roles in the game and break down the basics of playing them.

How to Play Every Role | Roles Guide

Tribes 3 Rivals: Roles Guide and How to Play Them

There are 5 roles you can play in Tribe 3: Rivals, all of them defined by how you help your team out. They are Flag Defense, Chaser, Midfield, Clearer, and Capper.

Which role you have to play in your team is something you have to define with your teammates. Of course, if you’re playing casually with randos you should just switch according to the situation.

Now, let us give you an overview of all the 5 roles and how to play them.

Flag Defense

Flag Defense (or Flag Defender) role

In the role of Flag Defense, your goal is to stay in your team’s base protecting the flag. The name says it all, after all!

You’ll try to minimize how much you get out of the base, trying to only go out whenever you’re helping an allied Capper or when chasing any enemies that run off with the flag.

Ideally, you should stick to either Medium or Heavy Armors in this role. You’ll need the extra defenses and firepower, but you have no use for the Light Armor’s speed.

As a Medium Armor, you should try to hide near the flag and watch out for incoming enemies. Once you spot them, attack them before they can make off with the flag.

Impact Nitron equipment

You should equip the Impact Nitron for its ability to force flag drops and the Shield Pack for extra defenses.

If you pick Heavy Armor instead, you’ll ideally try to stay on top of the flag yourself. You can physically block enemy Cappers from stealing the flag by just standing there!

For your Heavy Armor loadout, make sure to pick the Stormslicer for its damage and the Mine for their area denial potential.

Overall, this is a relatively simple role but also one of the most important! Be a credit to your team by never letting the enemies make off with the flag.

Chaser

Chaser in Tribes 3

This role is all about returning your flag to your base. But, unlike the Flag Defense role, you won’t focus on prevention! You’ll focus on reaction.

That means that you will, as the name implies, chase down enemy Cappers that make off with your flag.

Since speed is so important for this role, you’ll want to stick to either the Light or Medium Armors.

Light is faster, but most players prefer Medium for its better survivability.

No matter which Armor you pick, make sure to bring two things in your loadout: Impact Nitron in your Belt, and the Chaser Perk.

Impact Nitron, as we mentioned before, can be used to force enemy Cappers to drop the flag. It can make getting the flag back a lot easier!

Chaser perk

As for the Chaser Perk, it’ll give you extra damage against any enemy carrying your flag.

Additionally, you’ll get extra Energy and Energy Regeneration. It also prevents self-damage once, which means you get a free Disc Jump!

Disc Jumps are when you shoot an explosive disc weapon, like the Spinfusor, toward the ground and jump at the same time. It’s similar to good ol’ explosive jumping in other games.

Other than these two must-haves, you can pick whichever weapons you want for either Armor loadout.

Ultimately, this role is also quite simple, as you just need to hunt down enemy Cappers once they run away with your flag. Rush them down before they make it to their base!

Midfielder

Midfielder in Tribes 3

This is one of the odder roles right now, as you will basically act as a sort of scout by staying somewhere between both bases.

Try to spot enemies that are approaching your base and let your team know about them before they’re too close! Give your Flag Defenders and Chasers some time to prepare against enemy attacks.

Aside from just calling out enemy positions, though, you should also be trying to intercept and kill enemies before they come close to your base.

Your loadout here is, frankly, going to be whatever you feel most comfortable using. That said, you’ll need to stay on the move pretty often, so Light and Medium Armors are recommended.

Survivalist perk

Survivalist Perk might also be the best Perk for this role, as it enhances the effects of Health Packs. It’s fantastic for staying alive out in the middle of the map!

In summary, your goal as a Midfielder is to call out enemy positions and intercept them before they can reach your base. It’s a very open-ended role, so you’ll be constantly switching between offense and defense!

Clearer

Tribes 3 Rivals Role - Clearer

The Clearer is a vanguard for the Capper. Your sole goal in this role is to distract and kill enemy Flag Defenders and Chasers, as well as any Midfielders that show up to ruin your party.

Kill as many of the enemies as possible, or at the very least keep them distracted.

Also make sure to shoot and remove any Mines you spot, and try to get Heavy Flag Defenders to stop camping atop the flag.

Basically, you’re setting things up for your Capper to come in and swoop the flag with as little trouble as possible!

Example of a base asset - Sonar

You’ll also need to take care of all base assets, such as turrets and sensors. It’s absolutely vital that you take as many of them out as possible before your team’s Capper reaches the enemy base!

As a Clearer, you’ll be drawing a lot of enemy fire toward you, so you should stay as Medium or Heavy Armors for their survivability.

However, your loadout is very open-ended. The only recommendation we do have is the Gladiator if you pick the Heavy Armor. It’s an absolute beast at wrecking enemy base assets!

Ultimately, you just have to do what your name implies and clear the enemy base of hostiles before your Capper comes in to steal the flag. Any enemy you can’t kill, you should at least keep distracted.

Capper

Capper Role in Tribes 3

Last but not least, the role of Capper has one single goal in mind: steal the enemy flag and take it to your team’s base.

You’ll have to work in tandem with your allies, particularly anyone in the role of Clearer, to make taking the flag easier.

Since you’ll need to be quick, you’ll want to pick either the Light or Medium Armors for your loadout.

As always, Light has extra mobility but Medium has superior survivability. Pick whichever one fits you best!

Your equipment loadout is very open-ended in this role, with the exception of your Perk. Make sure to pick the Capper Perk whenever you’re in this role!

Capper Perk

It increases the range for flag and Health drop pickups and also disables speed limits while holding the flag.

A unique challenge for Cappers is that you should try to develop a route across every map since you need to maximize your speed.

This is something you’re going to have to master with practice but just try to have routes where it’s easy for you to speed through and stay away from enemies.

Bring the enemy flag back to your team as fast as possible, and focus primarily on movement! You should avoid fighting enemies head-on if possible, letting your teammates take care of them instead.

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner’s Guide for New Players

Od: Andrés

Tribes 3: Rivals is the latest entry in the classic competitive series bringing in a lot of new players, so we made an ultimate beginner’s guide to help ya’ll get started!

There are a lot of unique mechanics and systems in Tribes 3: Rivals, such as how movement works and what game mode it focuses on.

If you’re eager to start boosting your way to victory and stealing your enemy’s flag in this Jetpack-equipped FPS, read on!

Ultimate Beginner’s Guide | Tips and Tricks for New Players

It’s All About Capturing The Flag

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New Players - Capture the Flag

The first thing to know about Tribes 3: Rivals is that the game is primarily focused on Capture The Flag gameplay.

Each team has a flag, and the only way to score points is to capture the enemy’s flag and bring it to your base. It’s a game mode as old as time itself, now with jetpacks!

This means that you should primarily focus on working toward raiding the enemy base to steal their flag. Just killing enemies over and over won’t earn you points, if you don’t even try to steal the flag.

Tribes 3 promo shot of a character stealing a flag

This isn’t a deathmatch game, so you’ll have to actually coordinate with your teammates to complete the objective.

By the same token, you and your team have to make sure to defend your own flag and keep your enemies from stealing it!

In summary, just understand that this game revolves almost entirely around defending and capturing flags.

Get a Heads Up!

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New Players - HUD

If you want to get into Tribes 3: Rivals as a new player, you have to understand the Heads-Up Display (HUD). It has all the information you need to be aware of at a moment’s notice.

Here’s a description of every important aspect of the HUD, based on the image above:

  1. Bottom Left – Your current and maximum Health.
  2. Center Left and Center Right – Inclination meter and your current speed.
  3. Top Left – A radar of the current map, showing allies in blue and enemies in red. Also shows the flags using the same coloring scheme.
  4. Top Center – Current match info. Tells you how many points each team has, if a flag has been captured, and how much time remains for the match to end.
  5. Top Right – The kill log, shows when players kill each other. It also shows when a player steals a flag.
  6. Bottom Right – Your current weapons and ammo.
  7. Bottom Center – Shows your current Energy as a blue gauge that turns red when critical. Also shows your current Belt and Pack Utilities, plus notifies you if you have Skiing enabled or disabled.

The HUD is fairly straightforward, but it’s very important that you get familiar with it right away as a new player.

Select Your Armor

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New Players - Armor

There are three Armor types for you to choose from, each one with its own strengths and weaknesses. Which one you pick will greatly affect your available weapons and overall playstyle!

Here’s a short breakdown of each Armor type:

  • Light Armor – The speediest of them all, but also the one with the least firepower and defense. Primarily used to steal flags, or to chase down enemies who stole your team’s flag.
  • Medium Armor – Middle of the road, boasting a perfect balance of mobility, firepower, and defense. Medium Armor characters can do everything well, making them a solid jack-of-all-trades choice.
  • Heavy Armor – Sacrifices mobility compared to the other Armor types for overwhelming firepower and powerful defense. Great for attacking enemy bases and protecting your own team’s flag.

Every Armor type also has a bunch of unique weapons, gadgets, and perks at their disposal. Select whichever ones you like the most to fully define your own playstyle!

Understand Your Role

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New Players - Roles

Since we just covered the Armor types and their playstyles, it’d be a good idea to also give a brief mention of roles. Understanding what your role is in the team will be vital, after all!

There are 5 distinct roles defined by the players:

  • Flag Defense – Flag Defense players, also known as Flag Defenders, are those who stay in their team base and fight off any incoming enemies.
  • Chaser – Similar to Flag Defense players, Chasers mostly stay near their own base. However, their focus is more on chasing down flag-stealing enemies than fending off incoming enemies.
  • Midfield – A somewhat odd and unique role that stays in the middle of the map, between both bases. Provides recon for their team, pinging incoming enemies but also helping with offense and defense.
  • Clearer – Players who invade enemy bases shortly before a Capper arrives. They kill or distract enemies to make it easier for Cappers to capture the flag.
  • Capper – Speedsters who focus entirely on stealing the enemy’s flag. Very simple on paper, but being a good Capper requires a lot of practice and map knowledge.

Of course, that’s just a very basic overview of what each role does. For much more detailed information, feel free to check out our roles guide!

Master Your Jetpack and Skiing

Tribes 3 Rivals: Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New Players - Jetpack

The thing that makes a Tribes game truly “Tribes” is the Jetpack. As such, you should do well to start practicing using it as soon as you start the game!

You can activate your Jetpack and boost by holding down the Right Mouse Button by default, which will rapidly deplete your Energy. It will give you some nice air time for a brief moment.

However, that’s just the very basic use. More importantly, you should learn to combine the Jetpack with the Skiing function.

To start Skiing, hold the Ski keybind, which should be Space by default. Release it to stop Skiing.

The trick here is to use Skiing as you go downhill to gain a massive boost of speed, then use your Jetpack as you go uphill to propel yourself further.

Example of a player who use movement to fly

If you do it right, you will be basically flying across the map!

To keep your momentum, try to hold the Skiing key while in the air and aim to fall on slopes going downhill. Do it right and you’ll keep your speed, and maybe even gain some.

Mastering these movement tricks is absolutely crucial to success in Tribes 3: Rivals, though you’ll also need to keep a steady aim to shoot enemies while moving around.

But, that’s the end of this guide. Hopefully, this helps you get started in this frantic retro-styled competitive FPS. We hope to see you out boosting all over the battlefield. with your Jetpack!

Lost Ark: Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker

Od: Andrés

Lost Ark is getting a new Martial Artist class soon, Breaker, and there are some things you can still do to prepare for its expected release on March 20th, 2024.

You only have about two weeks to prep, so there’s not too much to do. Nonetheless, there are some key materials to gather and things to do until the release!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to prepare yourself for the upcoming Breaker class launch.

Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker | Class Prep Guide

Make a Male Martial Artist

Lost Ark: Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker - New Character

The first thing to do is a simple one: just make a male Martial Artist. Play that character until you reach Trixion during the prologue.

At this point, you’ll get to choose your advanced class. But, since you’re waiting on Breaker to release, just stop playing with this character.

It might sound odd, but there are two good reasons to do this!

The first is that you’ll get the character creation and customization out of the way early. Then once Breaker is released, you just hop in to play!

The second more important reason is that this character will start to accumulate a Rest Bonus. You’ll get extra loot thanks to your accumulated Rest Bonus once you play as Breaker!

Get Items From the Event Shop

Lost Ark: Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker - Event Shop

The next thing you should do is try to buy out all the items you can from the Event Shops. In particular, focus on the Golden Frog Event Shop while it lasts.

Hoard as many of the random chests as possible from the shop and then put them in your Personal Storage.

Once Breaker releases, switch to him and open up all the chests you hoarded. This will give you a lot of materials to help you advance the class quickly!

Don’t Claim Rewards Until Breaker Releases

Lost Ark: Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker - Event Rewards

Another important thing to do is to try to put off claiming rewards until closer to Breaker’s expected release date: March 20th, 2024.

This is most important for things like the rewards from the Birthday Bash Event Quests, as you can only keep the items for 7 days.

On that note, make sure you complete these Event Quests with your other characters while they’re still available.

Anyway, if you were to claim the rewards now, you would have to consume them with your other characters instead.

If you instead wait until around March 19th at least, you will be able to use them on your new Breaker.

This also doubles for any Maintenance Rewards you have yet to claim and the like. Just let them sit until Breaker is almost released!

Get Gathering!

Lost Ark: Things to Do to Prepare for Breaker - Gather Materials

While waiting for Breaker, it’s a good idea to start doing as many Life Skills as possible. Those are things like Hunting, Fishing, and Excavating.

The main reason to use them is to gather resources to craft Oreha Fusion Materials at your Stronghold.

You can either save the Oreha Fusion Materials to Hone your Breaker’s gear later on, or you can sell them on the Market to get Gold.

Selling them is a solid idea if you don’t have enough Gold to buy things in the Golden Frog Event Shop!

Great Honor Leapstone example

Speaking of materials, it’s also a good idea to start hoarding any Honor Leapstones you can. You’ll get them mostly by completing Guardian Raids with your existing characters.

With all that said, we hope we’ve helped you start getting a headstart for when the new Breaker class drops! Though we’re sure there will also be some good new events by then to help us get an extra boost.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Which Starting Vocation to Pick

Od: Andrés

One of the first things you’ll need to do in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is pick your starting Vocation.

Vocations are basically like classic JRPGs Jobs or Classes: they each serve a different role in your party, thanks to their unique abilities. In an action RPG like this, though, they also define your playstyle!

In this guide, we’ll summarize what you can expect from the starting Vocations so that you have an easier time picking your favorite one.

Which Starting Vocation to Pick | Dragon’s Dogma 2 Vocation Guide

The 4 Starting Vocations

You can pick one Vocation out of four upon starting Dragon’s Dogma 2. The four at your disposal are Fighter, Archer, Mage, and Thief.

Each one of them enables a wholly different playstyle from the other while being equally strong. So, which one you pick will depend entirely upon your taste!

As we said previously, though, we’ll give you a breakdown of all of these Vocations to help quell any indecisiveness you may have.

Character Creator screenshot

Though, before we dive into each Vocation, we want to let you know two main things:

  • You can freely change Vocations later in the game, and it doesn’t take long to get to that point. You’ll also unlock some more Vocations, as well!
  • Like in the first Dragon’s Dogma, each Vocation will unlock a variety of passive traits called Augments. It’s a good idea to level up all Vocations to get Augments, as they are shared.

Anyway, with that out of the way, let’s break down all 4 starting Vocations in the game!

Starting Vocations List

Fighter

Dragon Dogma 2: Which Starting Vocation to Pick - Fighter

A Vocation that uses a sword and shield, making it pretty balanced for offense and defense. You can swiftly cut down foes with your sword, and protect yourself with your shield.

Fighters are also able to counterattack after blocking, allowing them to turn the tide of battle quickly. They also serve the role of tanks, protecting their allies.

Besides that, they also get some more creative uses for their weapons.

For example, you can use the Springboard ability to make your Pawns jump off your shield! Perfect for striking at aerial foes.

Archer

Dragon Dogma 2: Which Starting Vocation to Pick - Archer

This Vocation specializes in, you guessed it, long-range combat. You’ll get to use a bow to rain arrows upon your foes from a safe distance.

A bow doesn’t just allow you to strike from a distance, either! It also allows you to easily strike at weak points, which can be great for giving your party openings.

It’s way easier to shoot an arrow into a Cyclops’ eye than to climb all over its body to stab it, for example!

Consider their good mobility on top of that and you’ve got a very versatile long-range damage dealer.

Mage

Dragon Dogma 2: Which Starting Vocation to Pick - Mage

Your one-stop-shop for magic, the Mage can use a large array of spells to attack enemies and aid his party.

Mages can cast basic offensive spells, which can be excellent for dealing some elemental damage.

They don’t have quite as much magical prowess as the Sorcerer Advanced Vocation, but they get the job done!

Additionally, the Mage can aid their party using a variety of buffs and healing spells, which makes the Mage an excellent Vocation for offense and support.

Thief

Dragon Dogma 2: Which Starting Vocation to Pick - Thief

The closest you can get to the Strider Vocation from the first Dragon’s Dogma. Thieves get to use dual daggers to quickly zoom all over the battlefield, dominating enemies with their speed.

Their impressive speed and mobility also make the Thief ideal for climbing over large monsters and striking at weakpoints with ease.

Besides their speed, they also get a host of unique traps and tactics. You can use Powder Charges you detonate at will, ensnaring traps, Smoke Screens, and more!

All in all, the Thief vocation is perfect if you want to play as an extremely agile and crafty character.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Gameplay

That’s the last of the starting Vocations we have to cover here! We hope our breakdowns helped you decide which one you want to pick first in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

If nothing else, always remember that you can freely change Vocations later in the game, as we said before. There’s no reason not to try them all out, especially since Augments are shared across Vocations.

Unicorn Overlord: Ultimate Class Guide | Skills, Abilities, Tactics

Od: Andrés

Unicorn Overlord boasts over 60 playable classes to choose from, and this ultimate class guide will help you quickly know all of them and their main traits.

Seriously, Vanillaware weren’t kidding when they said this was their most ambitious game to date. Having this many classes is genuinely an impressive feat!

Do be warned: this guide will have some spoilers, especially when it comes to unique classes.

If you don’t mind that, though, just read on and we’ll give you our overview of all the classes.

Ultimate Class Guide for Unicorn Overlord

Basic Classes

Unicorn Overlord: Ultimate Class Guide - Basic Classes

There are 20 known basic classes for you to use in Unicorn Overlord, each one capable of being promoted into an ultimate advanced class.

The Promoted Classes retain the same style and skills of their basic counterparts, but get access to new skills and better stats as well.

Counting the 20 basic classes and their promoted variants, you have a total of 40 classes to play with! And that’s not even counting some special ones, which we’ll cover later in this guide…

A unit of basic classes

With all that said, let’s look at the 21 basic classes in the game and what they can be Promoted into:

  • Arbalist – A supporting Ranger class, mostly meant to be used in the back row. Excels against Flying foes and enemies with high Evasion, such as Thieves. Can be promoted to Shieldshooter, giving them access to Shields.
  • Cleric – Your go-to healer class, they assist their allies with a variety of recovering skills. Most heals are percentage-based, so it works best with high HP classes like Hoplites. Can be promoted to Bishop.
  • Dark Knight – Knights who are emboldened in the face of adversity; they become stronger when their HP is low. Weak to anti-cavalry skills, but strong against Infantry classes. Can be promoted to Doom Knight.
  • Fighter – Boasts excellent Physickal Defense and is capable of protecting allies, but is extremely weak to magic and armor-breaking attacks. Can be promoted to Vanguard.

Basic Classes Part 2

Gryphon Knight
  • Gladiator – Strong warriors with very powerful Physickal Attack skills that hit multiple enemies and high HP. Their defenses are pretty low, however. Can be promoted to Berserker.
  • Gryphon Knight – Has very high Evasion, Attack, and Magick Defense. It’s also very strong against grounded cavalry classes like Knights, but weak against anti-Flying skills. Can be promoted to Gryphon Master.
  • Hoplite – Extremely sturdy thanks to their high Physickal Defense, and very capable of protecting allies. They get countered by anti-armor and magick skills, however. Can be promoted to Legionnaire
  • Housecarl – A class that boasts high Physickal Attack and the ability to shred the enemy’s Armor. Weak against anti-Infantry skills. Can be promoted to Viking, which allows them to equip Shields.
Hunter
  • Hunter – Accurate bow-users who can assist allies with their arrows. They’re also strong against Flying enemies and classes with high Evasion, like Thieves. Not very sturdy, though! Can be promoted to Sniper.
  • Knight– Your standard cavalry class. Their horse gives them extra mobility, and they have solid offense and defense. Weak against anti-cavalry skills. Can be promoted to Great Knight.
  • Radiant Knight – A strong cavalry class who has excellent mobility thanks to his horse, as well as high Magickal Defense. Ineffective to Flying enemies, though. Can be promoted to Sainted Knight.
  • Sellsword – Boasts extremely high Physickal Attack and the ability to counter foes’ attacks. Can be promoted to Landsknecht.

Basic Classes Part 3

Shaman
  • Shaman – A support class that focuses on weakening foes. Can sap foes’ PP and weaken their offense and defense, making them easier to deal with. Can be promoted to Druid.
  • Soldier – A footsoldier with a spear, can hit multiple enemies in a column. Also a solid support class, as it can provide healing and buffs to allies. Can be promoted to Sergeant.
  • Swordfighter – High Evasion and Accuracy make this class perfect against other high Evasion classes. Their low defenses make them weak to other high Accuracy classes, though. Can be promoted to Swordmaster.
  • Thief – Has the highest Evasion of the basic classes and can also steal the enemy’s PP. Very low HP and defenses make it weak against accurate classes, such as Hunters. Can be promoted to Rogue.
Wyvern Knight
  • Warrior – Makes up for its poor defense with incredible Physickal Attack and armor-breaking skills. Ideal against foes like Hoplites and Fighters! Can be promoted to Breaker.
  • Witch – A support-oriented class, they can add Magick Attack to their allies’ skills. A must-have when dealing with low magick defense classes, like Hoplites. Can be promoted to Sorceress.
  • Wizard – Your go-to class for Magick Attack. Can overwhelm foes with powerful spells, but is useless against classes with high Magick Defense. Can be promoted to Warlock.
  • Wyvern Knight – A Flying class with great Evasion, Attack, and Physickal Defense. Great against ground cavalry, like Knights, but weak to anti-Flying skills. Can be promoted to Wyvern Master.

Promoted-Only Classes

Unicorn Overlord: Ultimate Class Guide - Promoted Exclusive Classes

With the dozens of basic classes done, it’s now time to talk about classes that can only be found as Promoted Classes.

These advanced classes don’t have a lower-tier basic variant, so they are recruited as-is. However, their strength and skills are matching the average power of regular Promoted Classes!

Now, let’s go over all of 13 of these classes!

Elven Classes

Elven Classes

These classes are all of the Elf race. They don’t seem to share any particular trait with each other, however, so their distinction as Elven seems to be mostly for flavor.

  • Elven Archer – The Elven variant of Hunters, they can deal highly accurate long-range Magickal Attacks. They can also remove debuffs from allies, making them a counter against Shamans.
  • Elven Augur – Somewhat akin to the Cleric class, the Elven Augur assists their allies with healing and support skills. Can also summon faeries to strengthen skills, and can provide Magick Assist attacks.
  • Elven Fencer – A close-range fighter that deals Magickal damage instead of Physickal. Can also protect allies from long-range classes like Hunters, making them pair well with Flying classes.
  • Elven Sybil – A support unit fully focused on healing. Has better healing than the Elven Augur and can provide healing assists, but can’t do magick attack assists.

Feather Classes

Feather Classes

The “Feather” classes all have the unique trait of becoming stronger during daytime battles. However, their flight makes them weak to anti-flying attacks, such as the ones from Hunters.

  • Featherbow – Excellent Accuracy and Magick Defense. Just like Hunters, the Featherbows are very strong against high Evasion classes.
  • Feathershield – Boasts fantastic Magick Defense and can also reflect magick attacks back to foes. Extremely effective at shutting down classes like the Wizard.
  • Featherstaff – Support class that excels at healing allies. Has the unique quirk of being able to cast healing spells right before allies get hit.
  • Feathersword – Your first Feathersword will most likely be Orchys, a unique recruitable character. Has excellent Evasion and Magick Defense, plus they have skills that can lower the enemy’s Evasion.

Werebeast Classes

Werebeast Classes

These beastly classes are the opposite of the “Feather” classes from before, as they become stronger during the nighttime. They don’t have a shared weakness, however!

  • Werebear – A living tank, they boast high HP and high Physickal Defense. Ideal in the front line, tanking attacks for their unit. Their Accuracy is pretty low and they’re also weak to Magick and anti-armor skills.
  • Werefox – Extremely agile, boasting high Initiative and Evasion. They are capable of applying various afflictions to enemies. They are weak to classes with high Accuracy, such as Hunters.
  • Werelion – Overall, the Werelion is pretty much identical to the Berserker. The only notable difference is the Werebeast nighttime buff.
  • Wereowl – Similar to the Cleric class archetype, Wereowls are healers that will support allies and keep them healthy. They also count as a Flying class, so they are weak to anti-Flying skills.
  • Werewolf – Highly accurate Physickal Attack class. Mostly excels at dealing extra damage to foes that have been weakened by debuffs or afflictions, making them a great pair with Shamans and Werefoxes.

Unique Classes

Unicorn Overlord: Ultimate Class Guide - Unique Classes

Let’s finish our ultimate class guide for Unicorn Overlord with the unique exclusive classes. These classes are character-specific, so they’re very limited!

Here are all of the 8 unique classes in Ultimate Overlord:

  • Dark Marquess (Berengaria, Nigel, Elgor, Alcina) – This unique class is shared by 4 characters, but they all have unique skills despite being a “shared” class. They all have excellent offense and defense, and can also apply afflictions.
  • Dreadnought (Amalia) – A slow but powerful class with excellent physical offense and defense. Amalia’s sturdy build and powerful equipment allow her to break gates and barricades with extreme ease.
  • Lord (Alain) – The protagonist’s exclusive class fittingly makes him a jack-of-all-trades. Gains extra Valor Points and has fantastic offense and defense, as well as decent support. Can be promoted to High Lord, giving Alain a horse and turning him into Cavalry.
  • Paladin (Josef) – Josef’s unique Paladin class is, more or less, an upgraded version of the standard Knight class. Has more support skills and is resilient against magick assist attacks.
Gilbert, the sole Prince-class character
  • Prince (Gilbert) – A support class capable of strengthening allies and boosting their morale. Units with the Prince as their leader will gain more Valor Points when defeating foes.
  • Priestess (Scarlett) – Basically, a stronger version of the Cleric. Can heal and buff allies, making Scarlett an all-round strong supportive class. Can be promoted to High Priestess, giving her some Magick Attacks.
  • Snow Ranger (Yunifi) – Yunifi’s unique take on the Hunter class. She’s strong against Flying enemies and enemies with high Evasion. She’s also capable of inflicting ice-based debuffs and statuses like Frozen.
  • Valkyria (Queen Ilenia) – Powerful offense makes Queen Ilenia extremely capable against Flying and Armored enemies. She’s also quite sturdy and has extra resilience against ranged assist attacks.

You can find the controls for the A/C by the radio, as marked in the image above. They really blend in with the radio’s controls, the sneaky little buggers… no wonder people miss them!

The first button on the left side of the controls turns the air conditioner on and off. Then you can use the two buttons to the right to either turn it up or down.

Using the Radial Menu 1

Alternatively, you can use the Radial Menu to configure the air conditioner instead. To bring it up, just press the Up key on your keyboard or Down on your controller’s D-pad.

In the Radial Menu, swap tabs until you reach the AC tab. It’s the one with the little fan icon.

Now you can just select from the 4 different options here. You can either turn the air conditioner on or off. You can also set it to Hot mode, Normal mode, or Cool mode.

Using the Radial Menu 2

The mode you have active at the moment will be highlighted in orange, in case you forget what you set it to!

Ultimately, it’s as easy to use the air conditioner in Taxi Life as it is in a real-life car, thankfully. Now you can keep your virtual passengers and virtual self cool as you drive around in this taxi simulator!

Backpack Battles: Best Build for Max Damage

Od: Andrés

Backpack Battles is as addictive as it is tough, but battles being a race against time make it so that you really want to have the best build for max damage possible.

Fatigue and your opponents can’t kill you if the battles end as soon as they start due to your raw damage, after all!

In this guide, we’ll look at what might be the best damage build currently available in Backpack Battles.

Best Build for Max Damage

Backpack Battles: Best Build for Max Damage

NOTE: Backpack Battles is an Early Access game, so balance is prone to change with patches. As such, we can only guarantee this build will work on the Early Access Launch Version: 0.84.

Your max damage build will rely on three main aspects: the Ranger class, the Holy Spear, and the Critwood Staff.

The only thing you can truly guarantee is the Ranger class. Getting the Holy Spear and Critwood Staff will rely purely on luck.

You’ll need the right items to randomly pop up in the shop. That’s just how Backpack Battles works…

You’ll also need to use Item Recipes to make both items, as they aren’t regular items.

Critwood Staff recipe as an example

To combine items together using Item Recipes, just place them next to each other and complete one battle. You’ll notice that the items will combine thanks to a glowing line between them.

To make both of these powerful weapons, combine the following items:

  • Holy Spear – Spear + Glowing Crown
  • Critwood Staff – Magic Staff + Acorn Collar
Holy Spear item recipe

Once you’ve got them, place the Holy Spear so that it has as many empty slots or Holy items in front of it as possible.

Holy Spear setup

The Holy Spear will destroy 6 Block and cleanse 1 Debuff for every empty slot or Holy item! This can effectively keep you safe while shredding the enemy’s defenses, ensuring you deal max damage.

Critwood Staff placed

For the Critwood Staff itself, there are no special requirements needed. Just place it wherever you want in your backpack and you’re good to go.

Do note, you’ll also need high Mana Regeneration to keep both items active.

Box of Riches, contains Gemstones

Lastly, make sure to get Gemstones and slot them into both of these weapons to further buff their effects.

Keep all of that in mind and you’ve got a build that’ll easily deal the max damage possible!

Helldivers 2: Ultimate Flamethrower Guide

Od: Andrés

The Flamethrower is one of the most fun and unique weapons in Helldivers 2, but it’s hard enough to use that we thought it deserved its very own ultimate guide.

If you’re eager to burn your foes to a crisp, we’ll give you various tips to help you make the most out of your Flamethrower!

Read on and we’ll tell you everything you should keep in mind as you deploy into Tien Kwan with a Flamethrower at the ready.

Ultimate Flamethrower Guide | Tips and Tricks to Cook Bugs Effectively

Direct Damage Is Important

Helldivers 2: Ultimate Flamethrower Guide - Direct Damage

While you might the Flamethrower is best played by just spraying fire around and setting enemies on fire, direct damage is actually much more important.

Sure, setting critters on fire and letting them burn to death slowly works. But for everything else, you’ll only really deal good damage whenever the flame stream from the Flamethrower connects.

This is particularly true when fighting some of the bigger enemies, such as the obnoxious Chargers.

As an example, Chargers themselves will barely take damage from burning. The only real way to take them down with your Flamethrower is to keep shooting at their weak spots.

Killing a Charger with the Flamethrower

This isn’t much different from using any other weapon, in that sense.

On the upside, Flamethrowers do have the advantage of ignoring armor. You can kill Chargers by shooting their weak legs even without shredding the armor first!

It’s also a good idea to use first-person aiming to make sure your flame stream hits where it should.

In summary, just make sure that you keep firing at enemies because burn damage itself is rather weak.

Be Wary of Bile Titans

Helldivers 2: Ultimate Flamethrower Guide - Bile Titans

Bile Titans are always a threat, there’s no doubt about that. But, Flamethrower users are at a big disadvantage in particular.

Not only is it risky to even get close to Bile Titans to begin with, but it seems the Flamethrower is currently incapable of dealing real damage to a Bile Titan.

Fire doesn't do anything against the Bile Titan

The Flamethrower can easily wreck the eggs and sacks on the Bile Titan, but nothing else.

Some players report going through 8 whole canisters worth of fuel just firing away at the Bile Titan with the Flamethrower and still not killing it!

Let other players deal with the Bile Titans or use Stratagems, like the new Exosuit Mechs, to fight them.

Close Range Is Ideal

Helldivers 2: Ultimate Flamethrower Guide - Range

The Flamethrower is, just like in almost every other piece of media out there, a close-range weapon.

Your deadly fire stream doesn’t have a long reach, so you’ll be at a huge disadvantage whenever enemies can out-range you.

This makes the Flamethrower particularly dangerous to use against Bot enemies. Bugs usually get into close range when attacking you, but Bots are good at keeping their distance.

Burning Swarmers at close range

There’s not much you can do about the short range either, besides making up for it with Stratagems like the Jump Pack.

By the same token, staying in close range against burning bugs can end up setting you on fire. Playing with fire is as dangerous as they say…

Nonetheless, it’s something extremely important to keep all of this in mind if you want to use this weapon as a main weapon!

Choose the Right Stratagems

Helldivers 2: Ultimate Flamethrower Guide - Stratagems

Based on our previous two points, you might have already noticed that Stratagems will make or break a Flamethrower loadout.

After all, you’ll need to pick the right ones to make up for the Flamethrower’s weaknesses compared to other guns!

These are some of the best Stratagems we recommend for Flamethrower users:

  • B-1 Supply Pack – Great for getting some extra fuel for the Flamethrower. It’s a very ammo-hungry weapon!
  • LIFT-850 Jump Pack – Can help you get in and out of close range, perfect for engaging and disengaging as needed.
  • A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry or A/G-16 Gatling Sentry – They can automatically shoot down enemies from range, making them great backups for a Flamethrower main.
  • Orbital Railcannon Strike or Eagle 500kb Bomb – Your go-to emergency Stratagems for dealing with Bile Titans in a pinch. Pick whichever one of the two you prefer.

Pack these Stratagems up alongside your Flamethrower and you’ll be sure to find success against the hostiles on Tien Kwan!

Spider-Man 2: How to Change Time of Day

Od: Andrés

Spider-Man 2 just got a brand-new New Game Plus Update adding a host of new features, such as the ability to change the time of day.

Ever wanted to free-roam around New York City during the nighttime? Or do you just absolutely love those NYC mornings? No matter your preference, you can make it last forever now!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to set the time of day to whatever you please… in Spider-Man 2, of course.

How to Change Time of Day | New Game Plus Update

Spider-Man 2 Sunset

Before we begin, you should know that you can only freely change the time of day after you’ve already beaten the main story.

As we mentioned previously, it’s part of the New Game Plus set of features included in the new update.

Most story missions require specific times of the day, too, so that must be why this new feature is limited to being a postgame bonus… though we do wish we could use it anytime!

Settings in Pause Menu

With all that said, you just need to boot up a completed save file in the game and press Options on your DualSense controller.

In the Pause Menu, scroll down to Settings and select it.

Gameplay Settings

Next, open up the Gameplay settings.

Time of Day settings

There you have it, Time of Day will now be the topmost option inside of the Gameplay settings menu! It’s right above the Challenge Level setting.

You can freely set the time to any of the following:

  • Default – This is the classic mode that changes based on the story.
  • Day
  • Night
  • Morning
  • Sunrise
  • Sunset
  • Dusk
  • Overcast
Time of Day settings set to Morning

Sadly, we don’t get to control the weather itself much besides setting it to Overcast. It would be great if we could combine weather and time of day settings to have things like rainy nights, but oh well…

Nonetheless, now you know how to change the time of day whenever you wish in Spider-Man 2! Go swing all over New York City at any hour you please.

Helldivers 2: How to Get Exosuit Mechs

Od: Andrés

Exosuit Mechs were one of the many fun Stratagems in the original Helldivers, and they’re finally making their comeback in Helldivers 2.

Thanks to the united efforts of every player, you can now get the fancy EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit Mechs down in Tien Kwan. A perfect tool to liberate the planet from the bugs!

How to Get Exosuit Mechs | EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit

Helldivers 2: How to Get Exosuit Mechs - Stratagem

To get the new EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit Mechs, you will first need to unlock its associated Stratagem: “Patriot Exosuit”. You can get it from the Ship Management menu before you deploy into a mission.

You’ll need to be Level 25, for starters. It also costs 20.000 Requisition Slips, so make sure you’ve got plenty to spare! The Stratagem itself also has 2 uses and a 600-sec Cooldown Timer.

Though, it’s also worth noting, that you can temporarily use the Exosuit Mechs Stratagem for free.

Weapons Experimentation event

The “Weapons Experimentation” event is live for a limited time, giving every Helldiver free access to the “Patriot Exosuit” Stratagem.

It’s unknown how long it will last, though, so make good use of it while you can!

Example of a Patriot Exosuit Mech in the world

Since that’s a time-limited offer, though, make sure to unlock the Stratagem so you can call down Exosuit Mechs whenever you please during missions.

For those curious about the Stratagem’s Code input, it’s as follows: Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Down.

A player riding the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit Mech

Anyway, it’s a tad too early to tell just how strong the Mechs will be, but some players report that they can straight up melt down Chargers with them.

No need for anti-Charger strategies when you’ve got a Mech!

But, there you have it, that’s everything you need to know to get your hands on the sweet new Patriot Exosuit Mechs. Get back to Tien Kwan and liberate it from the ugly bugs with this new toy!

How to Carry Opponents in WWE 2K24

Od: Andrés

Sometimes you just want to grab a fool and slam them into the ground, which is exactly what you can do when you carry opponents in WWE 2K24.

Carrying opponents opens up a lot of possibilities to perform brutal finishing moves, plus it just looks extra flashy!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything there is to know about this mechanic so you can start carrying and slamming anyone who stands against you.

How to Carry Opponents

How to Carry Opponents in WWE 2K24

There are two ways to initiate a carry, with the most common being from a Grapple.

Grappling

Start a Grapple by pressing either B (Xbox) or Circle (PlayStation) near your opponent

Initiated the carry

During the Grapple, press RB (Xbox) or R1 (PlayStation) to transition straight into a Shoulder Carry.

For the second method: push the Left Stick toward the opponent while holding down RB (Xbox) or R1 (PlayStation). This is a tad less safe than initiating the carry from a grapple, though.

Do note, your opponent can get out of the carry by mashing the Grapple button! Try to do an attack before they escape your grasp.

Different carry positions example

While you’re carrying your opponent, you can push the Right Stick to transition to other carry styles. The style will depend on the direction you push, as follows:

  • Up – Powerbomb Carry
  • Down – Cradle Carry
  • Left – Fireman’s Carry
  • Right – Shoulder Carry, which is the default style

You can, of course, also push the Left Stick while carrying your opponent to move. Use this to get those fools where you need ‘em to be!

Slamming a carried opponent

To finish the carry with a bang, you can do a variety of attacks while still carrying your opponent. The options are as follows:

  • Environmental Attack – Press X (Xbox) or Square (PlayStation). Your attack will change depending on where you take your opponent, such as slamming them onto the ropes if you’re near them.
  • Carry Attack – Press A (Xbox) or X (PlayStation) to perform a slamming attack and release your opponent.
  • Throw Out of the Ring – Press B (Xbox) or Circle (PlayStation) near the ropes to throw the fool you’re carrying outta the ring.

That’s everything there is to carrying opponents in WWE 2K24! For even more moves you can do, check out our full controls guide.

WWE 2K24: How to Get Started in MyFACTION

Od: Andrés

MyFACTION is a unique game mode in WWE 2K24 that allows you to make Factions with your favorite wrestlers, it can be a tad confusing to get started in.

The game’s interface is a bit of a pain, with some important options being in places you wouldn’t expect. It will all make sense once you’re done reading this guide, though, or so we hope!

Now, read on and we’ll help you dive right into the MyFACTION gameplay in this game.

How to Get Started in MyFACTION – First Things to Do

Perfomance Center screen

MyFACTION is a card-based management game, so the first thing you should do is get some good cards. So, your first course of action will be outside of MyFACTION itself!

Perfomance Center in Options

Go into the Options menu from the Main Menu and select the Performance Center. Play through all of the short tutorials here first of all!

Free booster pack as a reward

You won’t just learn the basics of the game, such as what the controls do. You’ll also earn a free Superstar Series I booster pack upon completion.

It’s free loot, no reason not to go get it!

MyFACTION selection

Once you’ve gotten your free booster pack, head on over to the Home tab of the Main Menu. Once there, simply select MyFACTION to get started for real.

The screen will tell you the basics of the game mode. Basically, you’ll collect cards to form your dream teams of wrestlers, then take on other player’s Factions.

MyFACTION starter screen

Read it all and choose to start, then you’ll get to choose a Starter Pack.

Each Starter Pack features different types of wrestler cards, but the cards themselves are completely random besides their typing. Just pick whichever one sounds most appealing!

Once you’ve got your starters, you should go back to the Main Menu. This time, head to the Headquarters tab and select MyFACTION Management.

Getting Used to MyFACTION Management

MyFACTION Management option

Inside of the MyFACTION Management Menu, you can set up your Factions. You can create up to 8 different Factions, so you can play around creating ones with different themes and styles!

The game will take you through the process of setting up your first Faction at this point. Once your Faction is ready to go, select it to customize it even further.

MyFACTION Management - Line Up

There are three tabs inside the MyFACTION Management, as follows:

  • Line Up – The main event, basically. You can set up all of your wrestler line-ups using the cards you have. Put your favorite cards in your line-up to define your Faction.
  • Customization – In this tab, you can set up the style of your Faction. You can set down your logo, wallpaper, and banner here. Choose a style that represents you best!
  • Managers – Here’s where you can set up to two Managers for your Faction. Every Manager has a different style, which will strengthen specific types of wrestler cards. Make sure that your Manager matches your card line-up and you’ll do well.
MyFACTION Management - Managers

If you need extra help, make sure to press the View Button (Xbox) or the Touchpad (PlayStation) to bring up extra in-game info related to the tab you’re in.

Once you’re done setting up your Faction, it’s time to head on over to the last key point you need to know of when starting out.

Getting a Headstart in MyFACTION | Weekly Towers Game Mode

Weekly Towers game mode

Before you dive into the main Faction Wars game mode, you should make sure to do the Weekly Towers. You can access them from the Play tab in the Main Menu.

Example of a Weekly Towers match

The Weekly Towers are sequences of matches you need to do in order. Completing them will reward you with some sweet loot, such as special cards and booster packs!

Thankfully, these matches are also surprisingly easy. They’re a perfect fit for anyone who’s just getting started with the MyFACTION mode in WWE 2K24.

It’s highly recommended that you complete all of these matches as soon as possible!

Faction Wars selection

Once you’re satisfied with your setup and progress in the Weekly Towers, you should be good to go. All that’s left is to select Faction Wars from the Play tab of the Main Menu.

Face other players’ Factions, earn more cards, keep upgrading, and become the best Faction out there.

Frostborn: Ultimate Farming Guide

Od: Andrés

Season 22 is finally here for Frostborn, so we have cooked up an ultimate farming guide to help out new and returning players with the game.

We’ll tell you everything you need to know, such as the basics of farming, Zones, and tips about equipment!

Ready to get farming? Well, read on and we’ll give you all the deets!

Ultimate Farming Guide for Frostborn

Think Twice About Gearing Up

Frostborn: Ultimate Farming Guide - Equipment

Due to how death works in Frostborn, you might want to think twice about bringing your best gear whenever you go out farming.

The simple reason is that dying will result in you dropping your entire inventory. Dying in a PvP zone is particularly stressful, as other players can just straight-up steal your loot!

Even when PvP isn’t enabled by the zone, you’re still at risk of losing your farmed items if you die, too. You have 10 minutes to recover your inventory or it’s gone forever.

A player with a full inventory, very risky

Dying a second time before you recover your items will also forfeit them, losing your hard-earned items… nobody wants that!

As such, we recommend that you only bring disposable equipment whenever you go out on farming runs. Keep your truly important items and resources in your base.

Basically, you have to strike a balance between having gear that will help you survive and also having nothing that you would hate to lose.

In the early game, though, you’re better off just going out farming with no clothes on and just a basic weapon!

Know the Tools

Frostborn: Ultimate Farming Guide - Tools

There are a variety of tools, with each one being able to gather a different material when farming. Typical survival game mechanic, of course!

There are only two tools to keep track of in this game, however: the Hatchet and Pickaxe. These are their uses:

  • Hatchet – Can be used to cut down Pine Trees for Pine Logs, with higher tier variants allowing you to cut down Maple Trees and more. Can also break down Walls!
  • Pickaxe – Used to mine the various ores, such as Iron Ore and Limestone. Higher-tier Pickaxes can mine rarer ores.
Promotional screenshot for Frostborn

Frostborn has a really simple set of tools, doesn’t it?

Nonetheless, it’s important that you know what both of these tools are good for. Also, make sure to upgrade them later on. Upgrades will become available as you level up your base!

As a final note, know that you can use either tool as a weapon in a pinch. But, they really don’t make for good weapons, so don’t rely on them too much for combat.

Understanding the Zones

Frostborn: Ultimate Farming Guide - Zones

Every Zone within the various locations in Frostborne is assigned one of three colors. These colors define the area’s difficulty, as follows:

  • Green – The easiest Zone, best for new players. PvP isn’t allowed, but resources are pretty basic.
  • Orange – Medium Zone with higher quality materials. However, PvP is allowed and enemies are stronger. Make sure you’re prepared to either fight or run!
  • Red – The hardest type of Zone, but also the one with the best loot. Mobs are pretty strong and PvP is also allowed. Only enter these Zones when you’re ready for a challenge and don’t mind risking your inventory!
Frostborn gameplay

Besides that, it’s also important to know that all Zones have a variety of chests you (and other players) can open. These are a fantastic source of materials, so look out for them when farming.

Zones can also be reset, with the most common way to reset them being to just open up all of the chests. There are usually 3 chests per Zone, so it doesn’t take long to open them.

Alternatively, the Zone will also reset once all mobs have been slain by players.

However, Zones won’t reset if there are still players exploring them, even if there are no chests or enemies left. This can be pretty annoying at times, but it’s just one of Frostborn’s quirks!

Season 22 Item: Freyja’s Gifts

Frostborn: Ultimate Farming Guide - Season 22 Items

If you’re farming now, during Season 22, you’ll likely come across Altars of Freyja and Sprouts of Life. Both of them are tied to the seasonal event, and well worth paying attention to as you farm!

Sprouts of Life are commonly found either as drops from mobs or from opening chests. They’re common in Green Zones, so you can gather them relatively risk-free.

Altar of Freyja

You can then take these Sprouts of Life to one of the Altars of Freyja, which appear randomly in the Zones. They look like tall brown cat statues, as shown above.

These statues will ask you for Sprouts of Life as offerings. Simply accept to offer the Sprouts of Life and you’ll get a Small Freyja’s Gift.

As that implies, Freyja’s Gifts come in different sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. You can consume any of them from your inventory to get loads of materials you would otherwise need to farm!

Alternatively, you can offer smaller gifts and more Sprouts of Life to an Altar of Freyja to get a larger gift. For example, offer four Sprouts of Life and one Small Freyja’s Gift to get a Medium Freyja’s Gift.

Offering to the Altar of Freyja

It’s usually recommended to get the largest gifts possible, as they are required for seasonal rewards!

Do note that Altar size depends on the Zone, and you need a matching Altar for the gift you seek, as follows:

  • Green Zone = Small Altar
  • Orange Zone = Medium Altar
  • Red Zone = Large Altar

But, there you have it, that’s the last tip we have for you on our ultimate farming guide for Frostborn.

Last but not least, pick up the Hi-Caliber Rifle for Barret. You can only get this one once you progress the story and reach the Chocobo Ranch, however. You’ll need to ride a Chocobo to reach it!

Once you’ve got a Chocobo, go back to the Abandoned Dock where you found Cloud’s Sleek Saber. Except this time, you just ride the Chocobo across the swamp while heading southwest.

You’ll eventually reach a bit of land with a purple chest on it, open it up for the Hi-Caliber Rifle.

Must-Have Materia: Auto-Cast

All The Things To Do Before You Go to Chapter 3  - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Auto-Cast

As you progress the story, you’ll be reunited with a nice little fella named Chadley. He returns after first appearing in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and is now in charge of collecting intel about the world!

What’s most important about him, though, is that he is a fantastic source of Materia. We’ve discussed this in our ultimate Materia guide, as well.

But, basically, you’ll get Data Points as you complete the various World Intel quests around the region. You can find those on your map after speaking with Chadley.

Chadley's Shop

Then, you can spend those Data Points at Chadley’s Materia Research “shop”. It works the same as a regular shop, except your currency is knowledge instead of Gil.

Now, to get to our main point here, make absolutely sure that you get the Auto-Cast Materia first and foremost. Ideally, get a few of them so that you can equip it on multiple allies.

Auto-Cast Materia at Chadley's Research shop

Auto-Cast is a Support Materia that can be set to any Linked Materia Slot.

It will enable AI-controlled party members to cast magic even when you’re not controlling them, which is an absolute game-changer.

This is especially important if you didn’t pick it up as a collectible during Chapter 1!

Aerith with Timeless Rod and Auto-Cast Materia

Its best use right now is for Aerith. Equip Aerith with the Timeless Rod you picked up before, then put Healing Materia and Auto-Cast Materia in the Linked Materia Slot.

Aerith will now heal your party even without you having to take control of her, making combat much more bearable!

Command Titan’s Power

All The Things To Do Before You Go to Chapter 3  - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Titan

While we’re still speaking about Chadley, though, you should try to get the Titan Summon Materia.

You obtain it by completing Chadley’s first Combat Simulator task, titled “Summon Entity: Titan.” Beating this brutal opponent is easier said than done, though!

Fighting Titan

Titan is extremely challenging, and his powerful attacks can wipe out your party quickly.

However, you can make things a tad easier for you by picking up three different Divine Intel across The Grasslands. Each one you pick up will unlock a weaker version of the Titan fight, maxing out at three.

Titan Divine Intel 1 location

The first Divine Intel, Titan Sanctuary Alpha, is in the eastern part of the region.

Titan Divine Intel 2 location

The second, Titan Sanctuary Beta, is to the south of Kalm. It’s close to the Abandoned Dock from before.

Titan Divine Intel 3 location

Lastly, you can find Titan Sanctuary Gamma in the western part of The Grasslands.

Weakened Titan battle option

Collect all three Divine Intels for Titan then go back to Chadley. Fight the weakest variant of Titan to get his Summon Materia with ease!

Don’t Ignore Intel!

All The Things To Do Before You Go to Chapter 3  - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Intel

Speaking of Intel, you should make sure to get all the World Intel you can in The Grasslands before you go to Chapter 3. After all, you won’t be able to come back in a while, and Intel is region-specific.

Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to complete the World Intel events and quests.

Activation Intel location example

You should first look for any Towers out in the region, then activate them. These Towers are marked as “Activation Intel” points on your map, and they will reveal all other World Intel points around them.

Thanks to these Towers, it’s basically impossible to miss out on World Intel as long as you keep checking your map.

Using the Assess Command in battle

Speaking of Intel, though, make sure to use the Assess Command whenever you fight enemies.

This will give you Enemy Intel, which will let you know the weaknesses and strengths of your foes. But, more importantly, it will also unlock new rewarding challenges at Chadley’s Combat Simulator!

Restore Chocobo Stops

All The Things To Do Before You Go to Chapter 3  - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Chocobo Stops

Since you will be doing a lot of exploring as you gather up all the World Intel in The Grasslands, you should also restore Chocobo Stops.

These Chocobo Stops look similar to what bus stops look like in real-life.

You’ll often be signaled toward these Chocobo Stops by adorable chubby Chocobo babies. If you spot any of them as you explore, don’t ignore their pleas for help!

Restoring the Chocobo Stop

Once you’re at the Chocobo Stop proper, though, you just need to interact with the stop sign next to them. Pick it up to open up the Chocobo Stop for use, giving you more fast travel spots.

More importantly, opening up Chocobo Stops will also give you Golden Plumes. You can use these later on to purchase accessories for your Chocobos, which can grant them special abilites in Chocobo Races

In short, don’t ignore the fledgling Chocobos you find as you explore. Help them restore the Chocobo Stops!

Pick Up Some New Cards

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Queen's Blood Card Game

If you’re eager to dive into the new Queen’s Blood card minigame, you should make sure to get some of the powerful cards early on.

As soon as you get a Chocobo as part of the main story, the “A Rare Card Lost” side-quest will become available in Kalm.

A Rare Card Lost start point

Just head to the Rusty Arrow tavern in the northern part of Kalm and speak to the bartender there to start.

Bartender starts the A Rare Card Lost quest

This quest is relatively simple, as you are just tasked with defeating three specific opponents at the Queen’s Blood minigame. Once you defeat them, speak to the bartender again!

If your cards are a bit lacking right now, check the item vendors in Kalm to purchase Queen’s Blood Booster Packs.

He will reward you with Card 107: Chocobo & Moogle, which is a pretty rare one. It’ll come in handy as you challenge stronger foes when you go to Chapter 3 and beyond.

Thorin's Card Shop location

Additionally, you’ll get access to Thorin’s Card Shop to the northeast of Kalm.

Thorin's Card Shop stock

You can buy Card 098: Titan and Card 108: Fat Chocobo there, which are also pretty rare!

Check Out the Moogle Emporium

All The Things To Do Before You Go to Chapter 3  - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Moogle Emporium

Our final thing to do in The Grasslands is to check out the Moogle Emporium. This unique shop becomes available once you complete the Moogle Intel events in The Grasslands.

Once again, though, this shop won’t take your Gil. Instead, you’ll need to get Moogle Medals.

Moogle Medal crates

Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to farm Moogle Medals quickly. They can be commonly obtained by breaking marked boxes in Cache Locations and Towers.

It’s definitely worth getting these Moogle Medals, though, as this Moogle Emporium has some very worthwhile exclusive items to get early on:

  • HP Up Materia Earrings – An accessory that allows you equip the highest level of HP Up Materia.
  • The Arts of Swordplay Vol. I – A Manuscript for Cloud. Increases his Skill Points.
  • Way of the Fist Vol. I – A Manuscript for Tifa. Increases her Skill Points.

Make sure you get these three items before you finish The Grasslands and go to Chapter 3!

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: How to Farm Moogle Medals Fast

Od: Andrés

You will unlock access to a unique shop called the Moogle Emporium as you explore the world in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and you’ll want to farm Moogle Medals fast to buy their items.

These charming Moogles sell some unique items you can’t find anywhere else, after all. However, they refuse to accept Gil, using Moogle Medals as a currency instead.

In this guide, we’ll tell you a method that can help you get these Moogle Medals quickly and very early in the game.

Moogle Medals Farming Guide – FF7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: How to Farm Moogle Medals Fast - Marked Boxes

Farming Moogle Medals fast is actually a lot simpler than you might think, as they are commonly obtained from marked boxes like the one shown above.

These marked boxes are most common at the top of “Activation Intel” Towers and “Cache Locations”.

Example of a Cache Location

Cache Locations appear on your map as treasure chest icons, so they’re easy to spot.

That said, the Moogle Medals aren’t a guarantee. They are a random drop, so you only have a chance to get them every time you break a box.

Loot obtained from breaking the boxes, including a Moogle Medal

However, you should still get other useful items, like Phoenix Downs.

The nice thing, though, is that these marked boxes respawn pretty quickly. So, to farm Moogle Medals really fast, you just need to Fast Travel between two places with marked boxes.

The Grasslands Moogle Medal Farm - Activation Intel Tower

For example, you should first fast travel to “Activation Intel 4: Plains Tower” in The Grasslands. Climb up to the top of the Tower, smash the boxes there, and then open up your map again.

The Grasslands Moogle Medal Farm - Jadewind Hill Cache Location

Now, fast travel to the Jadewind Hill Cache Location and smash up the marked boxes there. Hopefully, you should have acquired a few Moogle Medals in the process.

In summary, you just need to keep using fast travel to go between Activation Intel Towers and Cache Locations. Then, smash any boxes with red markings at each location for a chance to get Moogle Medals.

Example of Moogle Emporium items

Rinse and repeat and you’ll have a very fast Moogle Medals farm as early as Chapter 2!

Make good use of this method to buy out everything you need from the Moogle Emporium. They have important unique items such as Manuscripts, so don’t miss out!
