Insiders are teasing a new LEGO game in collaboration with Sony

There's a rumor swirling about the next great LEGO game. And if true, it's going to be a massive Sony Playstation collaboration with one of the company's newest key franchises.

After a leaker claimed on Twitter that a new LEGO x Sony collaboration was in the works, industry insider Tom Henderson joined in on the tease before just laying all the cards out on the table, identifying the Horizon franchise as the candidate.

I'm not particularly fond of the "I know something, and you don't" obligatory vague insider BS. But from what I know, there's a LEGO Horizon trailer that's ready to go.

It also suggests that the rumors of a showcase soon are accurate.

"I'm not particularly fond of the 'I know something, and you don't' obligatory vague insider BS." Henderson said on Twitter. "But from what I know, there's a LEGO Horizon trailer that's ready to go."

If true, LEGO Horizon would be the first new LEGO game since 2022's LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, unless you count last year's LEGO Fortnite expansion. And though it sounds unusual, Horizon does fit the LEGO mold of making games based on hit franchises, like The Lord of the Rings and Marvel Super Heroes.

Horizon is also one of the few Sony franchises to have a physical LEGO collaboration already, with a genuinely impressive 1200+ piece Tallneck LEGO set seeing release in 2022 (it was discontinued at the end of 2023, though, so good luck finding one).

The Horizon franchise has quietly become a Sony fan-favorite. Both Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West became blockbuster hits despite launching alongside other massive titles that took up all the air in the room.

Horizon is also a franchise that has not been afraid to spread its wings, so to speak. A spin-off game, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, served as the flagship title for the PS VR2, and the franchise's story has continued in a series of comic books. There's a live-action Horizon television series in development for Netflix.

This also adds more fuel to the ongoing rumors that a Sony showcase is imminent. Though not confirmed by Sony yet, many insiders have pointed to May 2024 as a target window for the next event, though it's not yet clear if that would be a Showcase or State of Play event.

Horizon: Forbidden West is available now on PS5 and Steam, and is honestly a no-brainer if you're looking for a richly engaging action RPG to play this weekend. We gave the original console release an 8.5 back in 2022.

Prime 1 Studios reveals first look at gorgeous new Street Fighter 6 Cammy statue

If you're looking for a new Cammy statue for your collection, Prime 1 Studios has you covered with its latest tease.

Prime 1 Studios is known for its truly breathtaking, almost terrifyingly realistic statues (seriously, this T-1000 would terrify me if it was in the corner of my apartment).

Prime 1 also makes a fair number of premium gaming statues, including simply gorgeous lines based on Bloodborne and Devil May Cry. It's also working hard on Street Fighter statues, including an upcoming Cammy statue, which the studio revealed a first look at on Twitter.

Cammy is the latest in a line that already includes Ryu, Akuma, and Chun-Li. The statue, which depicts Cammy in her modern Street Fighter 6 costume, is crazy gorgeous, though.

For the statue, Cammy is in her traditional victory pose, with her back turned and giving the viewer a steely gaze. The photos show off an incredible level of detail, from the texture of the jacket to the incredible face sculpt. The statue also gets a cameo from Cammy's cat, which makes perfect sense to anyone who knows just how much she loves her feline friends.

The Prime 1 Studios Cammy 1/4 scale statue doesn't yet have a price point or release date, or details on included accessories, though details should be announced soon. Looking at the other releases in the line, fans can likely expect multiple head portraits to be included--as well as a price upwards of $1,000.

For fans looking for more, rest assured, Cammy is not the end of the line. Teases for statues of Marisa and Juri are already floating around on the Prime 1 website.

Fallout star Kyle MacLachlan celebrates Season 2 with gruesome behind-the-scenes photos

Hank Maclean in Vault-Tec jumpsuit

Fallout has definitely taken a huge leap in the public consciousness this month, thanks to the release of the Prime Video series of the same name. The show is a massive hit, with a staggering 94% Rotten Tomatoes score and critical acclaim racking up.

The cast is living large, too, like series star Kyle MacLachlan. He took to his Twitter/X account this week to share some impressively gruesome behind-the-scenes photos of the Fallout series, which are sure to entertain even the most jaded of wasteland adventurers.

"Take me back," MacLachlan says, with the hashtag "s2," celebrating the show's official Season 2 confirmation from Thursday. There are some pretty cool photos here, too, including an up-close look at the scarred face makeup and a bloody Chet from the first episode.

There's also a pretty cool look at the practical Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor the series used, which offers a nice glimpse at how the iconic armor was created. And, of course, one photo that fans who reached the show's gripping finale will find as humorous as it is twisted.

In Fallout, MacLachlan plays Hank MacLean, the Overseer of Vault 33. When Hank is kidnapped by Raiders, his daughter Lucy must leave the Vault for the first time to rescue her father for the good of the other Vault Dwellers.

Though details about Season 2 are not yet available, MacLachlan is expected to return alongside other series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins.

All eight episodes of Fallout Season 1 are available now on Prime Video.
