Madden 25 Review - Another Year Waiting For Real Changes

Madden 25 Review - Another Year Waiting For Real Changes - Main Image

2024 was a big year for the Madden franchise, with EA Sports and the NFL negotiating an extension of their exclusive license agreement, which expires in 2027.

EA Sports had all the reasons to prove to the NFL that extending the license agreement was the best move, and releasing a great game was the best way to showcase that.

The features announced for Madden 25 backed that up. EA Sports revealed some exciting features, especially in gameplay and the forgotten Franchise mode, which left fans optimistic about the title.

Many players believed this could be the game that would turn the franchise around, marking a return to the golden age of Madden, and could deliver the best football simulation of all time.

Unfortunately, despite taking baby steps, Madden still needs to learn to walk, and Madden 25 isn't the fantastic game many were waiting for.

Reviewed on Xbox Series X. Review copy provided by the publisher.

The BOOM Isn't Enough to Make the Gameplay Feel Special

BOOM Tech was by far the most hyped feature in Madden 25, at least gameplay-wise, and for a good reason: it delivers everything it promised. Tackles and collisions are much more realistic, and you are penalized by badly-timed tackles. You can see the impact of the BOOM Tech feature in every play, and tackles feel more satisfying.

The revamped hit stick is another one of the positives of the Madden 25 gameplay, as the hit-stick mechanic is now much more high-risk and high-reward, and you need to time the hit stick perfectly, but when you do, it feels great.

Regular and signature animations look good, even if running animations often leave something to be desired. The new pass block and pass protection options are a good addition, but nothing game-changing.

The AI still makes some egregious mistakes, like offensive linemen not blocking for your running back, even if the opponent is passing just in front of him.

AI players stick to the play call and never deviate from it, which causes the AI to lack a huge amount of adaptation, which is crucial in football. With Madden being a simulation game, you would expect it to have it. This can lead to frustrating plays that will leave you wanting to throw the controller instead of the football.

Overall, the Madden 25 gameplay feels okay, better than Madden 24. The new features aren't groundbreaking, and despite improving the gameplay, they don't do so in a massive way, where you feel the gameplay is something completely different than before.

An Improved UI

The UI was massively improved in Madden 25. Not only does the main menu look better, but it's also more responsive. Finally, the painfully slow menus are gone, and navigating this new UI is easier, faster, and more satisfying.

The developers got this right, and Madden needed it, which might make it the most impactful new feature introduced by the title.

However, the game mode menus are still annoyingly slow, especially the Franchise mode one. Accessing the depth chart, the team salary page, or going back and forth in the trade center takes ages, which hinders the experience and immersion.

A Soulless Franchise Mode

Despite the new features, such as the messaging board or the revamped draft experience, which is quite underwhelming, the Franchise mode continues to be soulless.

The changes made to the NFL Draft are disappointing, to say the least. There are no voices during the draft cutscenes. Roger Goodell is in the game, and you can see him moving his lips when presenting a player, but there is no sound.

This feels like a huge missed opportunity; why have the NFL commissioner in the game if he is just going to stand on the podium and hold the jersey? Surely, he could at least say the player's name, college, and position.

It is disappointing that there was no commentary during the entire draft and no analysts talking about the players, their attributes, how they went up or down in the draft board, and why. It feels like yet another missed opportunity.

The draft cutscenes are forgettable, and you will most likely skip them after watching them two or three times. Madden had a chance to improve the NFL Draft presentation and overall experience, but they missed it.

They did, however, get it right with the new prospect board, which delivers a more intuitive UI, making it easier to draft players. Despite that, you still can't see what players you picked in previous draft rounds, which doesn't make sense.

The changes to Franchise mode are surface-level and, unfortunately, don't make the mode more immersive or improve the overall experience.

It seems Franchise fans will have to continue to fight the good fight, as they have done so far, and hope next year is the year Madden introduces significant changes to the mode.

Superstar Mode isn't that Super

Similar to what happened to Franchise, the new features of Superstar mode are lackluster. You have more hairstyles, faces, and even tattoos, but you still don't have a face scan feature, something NBA 2K and MLB The Show introduced quite some time ago.

EA Sports certainly has the means to do that, which begs the question, why haven't they?

You can only choose between five positions, and while the option to import your College Football 25 Road to Glory character is a good one, apart from the five extra skill points you get, your college career doesn't matter.

Did you win the Heisman and multiple National Championships? Well, congratulations, but we don't really care. Now, go to the draft combine and make sure you answer all of the interview questions correctly so we can decide where you will land on the draft board.

The cutscenes in Superstar mode are also forgettable, and just like in Franchise mode, they get boring after a while. Oh, and did I mention there isn't any sound on these, just subtitles?

When NBA 2K, which I have been critical of plenty of times, has created engaging storylines year after year, with cutscenes where you can hear the characters talking and the tone of their voices changing depending on the situation, why can't EA also do that?

Don't get me wrong, the NBA 2K storylines are very hit-or-miss, but the cutscenes are miles better. Once again, this is something EA could have introduced in Madden 25 but decided not to, another missed opportunity.

Madden is Ultimate Team

This has been clear for quite some time, but EA Sports reminds us every year that Madden is Ultimate Team, and that's the mode the publisher wants you to play. Otherwise, we wouldn't get an Ultimate Team ad pop-up whenever we leave a game mode.

The mode continues to be a hellscape of microtransactions, where players must spend money to compete. Fair-to-play users are at an insane disadvantage, as they have to grind through an ocean of challenges just to get cards that allow them a fighting chance.

The problem is that new cards behind a paywall are released almost every week, making fair-to-play users constantly on the back foot.

Do you want access to great cards, perhaps even play with legendary players? Well, pull your wallet out. It's as simple as that and has been for many years, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

Yes, we now have Head-to-Head ranked, new challenge types, and 6-on-6 events, but the core of Ultimate Team remains the same: a money grab.

Furthermore, EA Sports announced that Madden 25 will introduce more content than ever, which means players will need to spend even more money to obtain cards that will become outdated in two weeks.

Verdict

Madden 25 is a slightly improved version of Madden 24, but most new features fall short of expectations. The gameplay is decent, and the UI is much better, but the changes to the game modes are lackluster and don't make the game more immersive or enjoyable.

Madden 25 isn't fun, contrary to College Football 25, which excels at walking the fine line between delivering a realistic but also fun experience. Yes, they are two hugely different games, but it's impossible not to compare them when they are both football games made by the same company and studio.

If you were looking for a title that would revolutionize the Madden franchise, this one certainly isn't it. Unfortunately, this is the only one available if you are a huge NFL fan and want an NFL simulation football game.

The 2024 NFL season is expected to be very exciting and deliver memorable moments, but Madden 25, on the other hand, is not so much.

Another disappointing entry in the Franchise

Another disappointing entry in the Franchise

Madden 25 makes some slight improvements to the gameplay and UI, but most new features fall short of what was promised, and offline players' concerns continue to be dismissed in favor of Ultimate Team.

Madden 25 - Best QB Build in Superstar Mode

Madden 25 - Best QB Build in Superstar Mode - Main Image

Quarterback is the most popular position in football, and in Madden 25 Superstar mode, as most players want to create the next Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes, and dominate the league with their character.

But to do that players need the perfect build, especially if they also want to have success in the Showdown mode, which requires quarterbacks to do things they normally don't do.

Best Madden 25 QB Build in Superstar Mode

After choosing the character's hometown, name, number, and college, customizing its look, or importing the character from College Football 25, players will be able to choose their character's physique and attributes.

To have success in both the League and Showdown mode, users need to have a versatile character, as in Showdown users will have to play on both sides of the field. That's why players should select a Slim body type, with a 6'9 height, and 190 LBS.

This height and weight help users on defense in the Showdown mode, making it so their character isn't awful on defense, and can maybe intercept or swat some balls because of their height. It won't make them a lockdown defender by any means, but they can at least help on defense.

When it comes to the skill ratings, players should add three skill points to throw power, deep throw accuracy, throw on the run, and throw under pressure, and two skill points to spin move.

As for physical ratings, users should place three skill points in speed, two in acceleration, and one in change of direction.

Throwing is important in both Showdown and the League, so having great throwing skills is crucial for having success in both game modes. After all, all great quarterbacks are capable of throwing pinpoint passes.

For users that don't plan on playing Showdown, removing skill points from the spin move, acceleration, and speed, and adding them to other throwing skills such as medium or short throws can be better.

Players should always adapt this build to their playstyle, and what they excel at, as it will make the gaming experience much more enjoyable and immersive.

Abilities & X-Factors

This build will give players the following key abilities:

Key Abilities
Gold Arm Talent
Bronze Short Deadeye
Bronze Mid Deadeye
Gold Deep Deadeye
Gold Mobile Deadeye
Gold Pressure Cooker
Bronze Immovable Object
Bronze Spin Elite
Bronze Juke Elite
Bronze Stiff Arm Elite

Throw power and throw on the run should be the first two abilities players upgrade, as they are key to the success of this build, be it on the League or in Showdown mode.

After unlocking all of the abilities slots, players should equip the Gold Arm Talent, Gold Mobile Deadeye, Gold Pressure Cooker, Bronze Spin Elite, if they intend on playing Showdown, and Gold Deep Deadeye.

For the Showdown abilities, players will want to equip Perfection and Secure Tackler. As for teammate abilities, users should equip the gold HB/TE Catch Drill, silver WR Catch Drill, and bronze Pass Block Drill.

As for the X-Factor, Gambit is the best option, but players should also try Bazooka and Pro Reads to see what feels better.

With this build, users can dominate in the League and Showdown, as they have all of the skills necessary to excel in both game modes.

How to Restructure Contracts in Madden 25

How to Restructure Contracts in Madden 25 - Main Image

The salary cap is always something Franchise mode players need to worry about in all Madden editions, and that's no different in Madden 25.

That's why knowing how to restructure a contract in Madden 25 is so important, as it will give players more cap space, allowing them to make more moves to improve their roster, be it by trades or free agent signings.

How to Restructure Contracts in Madden 25

To restructure a contract in Madden 25, players first need to access the team salaries page, which can be found in the manage roster tab.

On the team salaries page, users can see which players are eligible for a contract restructure, by hovering over them.

If the restructure contract option appears on a player then he is eligible for it, and users can press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation to restructure their contract.

Unfortunately, Madden 25 doesn't allow players to choose how they want to restructure the contract, and will just give users an option to free some cap space in the present season, and then add a specific amount to each of the remaining years of the contract.

As mentioned above, this feature is great for creating some extra cap space in the current season, allowing users to go for big trades, or sign some superstar in free agency.

However, players should only restructure the contracts of key players, otherwise, they will get a cap space penalty if they end up trading or even cutting that player.

So contract restructuring is better used on superstar players, or rising stars, players teams build around and are either among the best in their position in the league or have a huge potential.

How to Invite Friends in Madden 25

How to Invite Friends in Madden 25 - Main Image

Madden 25 is here, and what better way to experience the new entry in the Madden franchise than with friends?

Playing Madden with friends is an unmatched experience, as not only does it make the game more entertaining and raises the stakes, but it also makes every game feel like a Super Bowl final.

But to do that, players first need to know how to invite friends in Madden 25, which can be a little tricky.

How to Invite Friends in Madden 25

Before inviting a friend, players need to add that friend to their EA Sports friends list.

This is something Veteran Madden players probably won't need to do, as most of their friends will most likely already be on their EA Sports friends list, but new players will likely need to.

Users can add friends to their EA Sports friends lists by following these steps:

How to add a friend to the EA Sports Friends List
Access the EA Connect Menu by pressing RS while on the Madden 25 Main Menu
Select the Player Search tab
Insert your friend's EA ID
Submit the request and wait for the friend to accept the request

Once that is done, users can play with their friends in a plethora of game modes, such as H2H on Quickplay, Superstar Showdown, or the highly popular Ultimate Team.

To do that, players need to access the mode, H2H for example, select the play with a friend option, and simply invite one of the friends on their EA Sports friends list.

The friend simply needs to accept the invite, and the game can begin.

No one likes to lose against their friends, so mastering the Madden 25 controls, and knowing which are the best playbooks in the game, will give users the edge over their friends.

How to Hire Scouts in Madden 25

How to Hire Scouts in Madden 25 - Main Image

Scouting is one of the most important things in Madden 25 Franchise mode, especially for players who are rebuilding a team and need to find those diamonds in the rough, that will make their franchise a title contender in a few years.

Knowing how to hire, and allocate, scouts will help users draft great players, improve their squads, and get them close to the Lombardi trophy.

How to Hire Scouts in Madden 25

Hiring scouts in Madden 25 Franchise mode is actually quite simple and fast.

Users need to go to the scouting menu and select the scouts' option. There, players will see all of their scouts, and if all of the scout's slots are filled, players will need to fire one of the scouts to hire another.

To fire a scout users simply need to select a scout and then click X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, or Q on PC.

Once that is done, players can press LT on Xbox, R2 on PlayStation, or LCTRL on PC, to access the Free Agent Scouts tab.

In the Free Agent Scouts tab, players can choose one of the scouts, of the same tier as the scout that was fired, and click Y on Xbox, Triangle on PlayStation, or Y on PC, to hire that scout.

If users fire a 2-star scout they can only hire a 2-star scout, as scouts can only be replaced by scouts of the same tier.

The most important thing is that players have scouts that match their team's needs. If the team needs more depth in the TE position or a good cornerback, users should hire scouts who are experts in these positions, preferably higher-tier scouts.

It's advisable that the lower tier scouts, 1-star scouts, are used to scout positions the team isn't in dire need of, but that the players still want to strengthen for the future.

User shouldn't be afraid of firing all of their scouts if they don't fit with the team's needs. It's possible to hire them down the line, and the most important thing, as mentioned above, is to have scouts who are experts in scouting players in areas the team really needs to improve.

How to Spin in Madden 25

How to Spin in Madden 25 - Main Image

Knowing how to spin in Madden 25 is something very important, and players need to master this mechanic, as it will help them gain a lot of valuable yards, or get out of difficult situations.

A well-timed spinning move is incredibly strong this year and will break the ankles of even the best defenders in the game. It's something every Madden player needs to have in their arsenal, as it will make their offense much stronger.

How to Spin in Madden 25

To perform a regular spin move in Madden 25, players simply need to press the B button on Xbox or circle on PlayStation. However, if users want to perform a precision spin move, they need to hold RT on Xbox or R2 on PlayStation, while also holding the B or circle button.

The regular spin move is significantly faster than the precision one, making it perfect for receivers to create separation from defenders, and earn a lot of yards.

As for the precision spin move, despite being slower it's great at getting players out of difficult situations. When it seems the receiver is just about to be tackled, a well-timed precision spin can leave the defenders in the dust, and secure users some valuable extra yards.

Timing is key when it comes to spin moves, a second too early will result in an easy tackle for opponents, but when well-timed, it's almost unstoppable in Madden 25, making a fool of even the best defenders in the game.

Learning the spin move is something all players need to do, but mastering all of the Madden 25 controls it's what's going to make users unstoppable on both sides of the field.

How to Hurdle in Madden 25

How to Hurdle in Madden 25 - Main Image

Madden 25 is here, and like all previous versions, the game continues to evolve with new strategies and moves that can change the outcome of any play. One such move is the hurdle, a technique that allows ball carriers to leap over defenders.

While it’s not the most commonly used move in the game, knowing when and how to execute it can make a difference, particularly in tight situations where every yard counts. The hurdle isn’t an easy move and requires precise timing and right players abilities to execute it perfectly.

How to Hurdle in Madden 25

A hurdle in Madden 25 is a rather risky move but it comes with a great reward.

To perform it, players need to press the sprint button, LT on Xbox or L2 on PlayStation, while running forward. Then, at the right moment, users have to press the jump button, Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation, to attempt the hurdle.

This will make the player jump over a defender who is diving to make a tackle. While it seems pretty straightforward, it requires precise timing to be successful.

The success of a hurdle depends on the player's attributes, jump, and overall athleticism ratings. Players with higher jump ratings are more likely to clear the defender successfully.

Running backs and wide receivers generally have better chances of pulling off a hurdle due to their agility and athleticism. On the other hand, quarterbacks, tight ends, and defensive players often lack the necessary attributes to perform this move successfully.

In Madden 25, a hurdle can change the outcome of an offensive play in both ways. First, the ball carrier can avoid a tackle and continue advancing down the field. However, if miss-timed or performed with the wrong player, it can result in a quick takedown or even a fumble, making it a high-risk move.

Another appropriate time to perform a hurdle in Madden 25 is when users are near the goal line or first down marker, and a defender is diving low to stop them.

On the other hand, Madden will often help players by prompting different moves from them, including a hurdle in appropriate situations.

Players need to remember to only perform a hurdle in Madden 25 when required, as it's an incredibly risky move. That's why users must master all the Madden 25 controls so that they don't need to rely on just one move.

All Relocation Cities in Madden 25 - Main Image

In the Madden 25 Franchise mode, players can relocate their team to a new city, with every city having two features, market size, and personality, and both will have a huge impact on the success of the Franchise.

Choosing to relocate a Franchise is a way to start from scratch, and build a legacy in a new city, with a new team name, and different challenges. Depending on the city users choose to relocate, winning a Lombardi trophy can become harder or easier.

All Relocation Cities in Madden 25

There are a total of 34 relocation cities in Madden 25, with different market sizes and personalities.

When relocating their franchise Madden players can choose to keep the team's name and logo, or opt for a fresh start, with a new name, logo, and uniforms.

The new branding players choose will have an impact on the fans' interest in that team, so that is something users need to be aware of.

Without further ado, here are all the relocation cities in Madden 25:

However, for players who prefer more of a challenge, a small city with a loyal fan base will provide just that. No matter the city players choose to relocate to, it will affect their journey in Franchise mode, which can make it more entertaining.

How to High Throw in Madden 25

How to High Throw in Madden 25 - Main Image

In Madden 25, it's crucial players know how to perform a high throw pass, something veteran Madden players are well aware of.

A high throw pass can be very difficult to perform, especially for users who are new to the Madden franchise, but players must master this mechanic.

The high pass is great when trying to get the ball out to the wide receiver, or a tight end. It's incredibly useful when players need to earn a lot of yards to get a 1st down, or if their receiver is wide-open and has a free path to the end zone.

How to Perform a High Throw Pass in Madden 25

Before performing a high throw pass, players need to have their eyes on the receiver and where he is on the pitch.

Once players have identified the receiver they want to pass to, they need to hold L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox, and then press the corresponding receiver icon.

Doing this will make the quarterback execute a high throw pass to the receiver, who can then proceed to a touchdown, secure a 1st down, or gain some valuable yards.

New players to the Madden franchise might find the corresponding receiver icon’ a bit confusing. However, it's just the icon that pops up on top of the receiver in the playing interface.

Once players hold the L1 or LB button, all available receivers get various controller icons assigned to them, users will see the icons displayed above their heads.

If a player's desired receiver is assigned the X icon (on PlayStation), or A icon (on Xbox), pressing this key on the controller will execute the high throw pass. So users need to be observant of the playing field when attempting to execute a high throw pass.

It's very important players see if their receiver is wide open, and if there isn't a deep safety on the field, as a high throw to a receiver who is covered may lead to an easy interception.

Players should also master all the Madden 25 controls if they want to have an advantage over their opponents, which can secure them a lot of wins.

Madden 25 - Cheapest Fastest Players in Franchise

Madden 25 - Cheapest Fastest Players in Franchise - Main Image

Madden 25 is here, and fans didn't waste any time before jumping into the latest installment of the Madden franchise, which promises to build upon the success of the previous year's release.

With each new iteration, finding the best value players becomes a crucial strategy for success, especially in Franchise mode. Identifying the fastest and cheapest players is key for those who love to build dominant teams without breaking the bank.

The Five Fastest and Cheapest Players in Madden 25 Franchise Mode

These hidden gems offer the speed and agility needed to make game-changing plays, without the high cost of top-rated stars. They are a great addition to most squads, especially for those undergoing a rebuilding process.

5 - Channing Tindall - 67 OVR - Dolphins - MLB

Channing Tindall is an excellent option for those looking to add speed to their linebacker pool. With 91 speed, 94 acceleration, and 95 jumping, Tindall can swiftly run the field, breaking up plays with ease.

However, his low awareness (64), man coverage (57), and zone coverage (53) make him a liability if left to the CPU. He is best used as a user-controlled player, where his physical attributes can truly shine.

4- Ben VanSumeren - 57 OVR - Eagles - MLB

Similar to Tindall, Ben VanSumeren has an impressive speed and when combined with his size at 6'2" he is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Although his overall rating is low at 57, his physical stats make him a valuable, budget-friendly option.

VanSumeren is a solid choice for players who prefer to control their linebackers manually, as his speed allows him to cover ground quickly, disrupting offensive plays.

3 - Troy Andersen - 65 OVR - Falcons - MLB

Troy Andersen, a fan favorite from Madden 24, returns in Madden 25 with impressive speed (91) and acceleration (93). Standing at 6'4", Andersen is a sight to behold on the field. While his awareness is better than some at 72, his coverage stats remain subpar.

He is more reliable when controlled by the CPU compared to others on this list, but still shines best under user control for aggressive playmaking.

2 - Jarrick Bernard - Converse - 65 OVR - Jets - FS

For players who prefer a fast safety, Jarrick Bernard-Converse is a top pick. His 93 speed, 93 acceleration, and 95 jumping make him a formidable presence in the secondary.

With decent hit power (72) for a low-rated free safety, Bernard-Converse can break up passes and cover deep threats. The combination of speed and jumping makes him an ideal choice for users looking to bolster their defense on a budget.

1 - JT Woods - 68 OVR - Chargers - FS

JT Woods rounds out the list as another speedy free safety option. With 93 speed, 93 acceleration, and 93 jumping, Woods can keep up with even the fastest receivers.

His size at 6'2" allows him to contest catches effectively. Woods is a versatile addition to any team, particularly for those looking to improve their secondary without spending too much on higher-rated players.

These are the cheapest players with a massive speed to their name. While they won’t be the most creative players on the field, they can certainly add speed, athleticism, and depth to your team.

How to Audible in Madden 25

How to Audible in Madden 25 - Main Image

Madden 25 is the new title in the Madden series, marking the second time the game will be released under this name.

The original Madden 25 debuted in 2013 to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary, and now, over a decade later, the series returns with new features and improvements.

One of the gameplay mechanics that players need to get a grip on is the ability to call audibles, which can change the outcome of a play in an instant. This guide will explain how to call and customize audibles so users can outperform any opponent and collect many wins.

How to Audible in Madden 25

To call an audible in Madden 25, players need to press the Square button on PlayStation or the X button on Xbox, which brings up the audible menu. This menu allows users to change the entire play, adjust the defensive formation, or change a specific player's route before the ball is snapped.

Audibles are the primary weapon of any player who wants to adapt to their opponent’s strategy on the fly, allowing users to counter their formation and tactics as they play out.

For example, if players notice that their opponent is stacking the box in anticipation of a running play, they can quickly switch to a passing play to exploit their defense setting.

Similarly, if the star wide receiver is in a favorable one-on-one situation, players can adjust his route and shoot him toward a touchdown without a hitch.

On defense, audibles allow users to respond to the offense's formation by changing their defensive setup, such as stacking the box if they anticipate a run or switching to a zone coverage if they expect a pass.

While this is not an easy mechanic to master, players can always practice it in offline games, and in the practice mode, before heading into competitive matches.

Another thing that is as important as knowing how to call an audible, is mastering the other Madden 25 controls, as this will give players a huge advantage over their opponents.

Madden 25 is here, meaning players can finally experience the ultimate football simulation game, which introduced big gameplay improvements, that most players have been enjoying so far.

However, players who want the most authentic experience possible will still need to make some changes to the game sliders. With these changes, the Madden 25 gameplay will feel even more authentic, realistic, and immersive.

Madden 25 Sliders

Sliders allow players to adjust different aspects of the game, such as QB accuracy, fumbles, injuries, and fatigue, among many others. They can be changed for the CPU or the user, and allow players more customization over the game.

To obtain the most realistic experience possible in Madden 25, some sliders need to be adjusted. These changes will make the game feel more authentic in areas such as blocking, defensive awareness, and interceptions, at the same time, they will provide users with a more challenging experience.

How to Change Sliders in Madden 25

To change sliders in Madden 25, players simply need to go to the main menu and access the settings tab.

In the settings tab, players will have access to a lot of different gameplay settings, such as game options, penalties, player skill, CPU skill, visual feedback, and more.

These are the settings users need to change to edit the Madden 25 sliders and make the gameplay feel as realistic as possible.

Game Options For a Realistic Madden 25 Experience

As mentioned above, these sliders will make the gameplay much more realistic, and enjoyable. This is great for Franchise players who want to experience the most authentic gameplay experience possible, as it also makes the mode more immersive.

Madden 25 Controls Guide

Madden 25 Controls Guide - Main Image

There is nothing more important than mastering the Madden 25 controls, especially for players who are extremely competitive and want to win every game they play.

Knowing the ins and outs of these controls will give players a big advantage over their opponents, be it the CPU or real players. It will help users win a lot of games in Franchise mode, and showcase their skills on Ultimate Team.

Madden 25 Controls

There are two control categories in Madden 25, and just like in College Football 25, they are defense and offense, with both being equally important.

Inside defense and offense, we have sub-categories, that make it easier for players to search for the controls of a specific mechanic in the game. Some of these sub-categories are passing, defensive coverage, blocking, and ballcarrier, among many others.

To have success on Madden 25, especially in online modes, it's crucial to master all of these controls, and this guide was crafted to help players with that.

Madden 25 Offense Controls

It's impossible to win games without scoring points, and that's why the Madden 25 offense controls are incredibly important to learn, and of course, master.

There are a total of five sub-categories in the offense controls, which are ball carrier, passing, preplay, and ball-in-the-air, and users will need to master all of them to become an offensive genius and dominate opposing defenses.

These controls will have an impact on all the Madden 25 game modes, and a good understanding of them can be the difference between a win or a loss, a Super Bowl title or a disappointing finals loss, an incredible late game win in Ultimate Team or a soul-crushing defeat.

For players who like to run the football, learning the ballcarrier controls is essential, as it will take their running game to a new level.

Be it with a running back, or a quarterback, it's crucial users know how to protect the ball when carrying it, use the juke or spin to create separation from opponents, throw the ball laterally for an open teammate, and of course celebrate after a big play.

While knowing how to run the football is very important, so is passing, as it offers users a plethora of offensive options.

A perfect pass can completely dismantle a defense, allowing the receiver to win many yards, and even reach the end zone, or secure that very important first down, to keep the drive alive.

Passing is one of the biggest weapons Madden 25 players can have in their arsenal, so becoming a master at it will come in handy in many situations.

Football is like chess, and users need to move their pieces in a way that gets them closer to a checkmate.

Pre-play allows players to adapt their offensive strategy after analyzing the opponent's defense, by changing the receiver routes, asking for pass protection to their offensive line, trying a fake snap to catch the defense off-guard and force a penalty, and calling an audible, changing the play call completely.

Preplay is an extremely important feature to master, as it will allow players to quickly adapt to the opponent's strategy pre-snap.

Despite being one sub-category of the offense controls, the Ball in Air controls are also used on defense.

These controls are very useful, as they let players choose which type of catch they want their receivers to perform, such as a normal possession catch, or an aggressive catch.

At the same time, users can also use these controls on defense, to swat the ball, switch the player they are controlling, or even get an important interception.

Madden 25 Defense Controls

Perhaps even more important than being able to score a plethora of points, is preventing opponents from doing the same, as this will make players' task of securing wins much easier, and also less stressful.

Similar to the offense controls, there are also sub-categories in the defense controls, and these are preplay, defensive engaged, defensive pursuit, defensive coverage, blocking, and player locker receiver.

As the saying goes, defense wins championships, so mastering these controls is something every player must do.

These controls allow players to quickly change their defensive strategy pre-snap, answering the changes made by the offense in real-time. Just like the offense can change routes, and call audibles, so can the defense.

Users can also change the position of their players, adjust the defensive line or linebackers, ask players to press, or even disguise the coverage, which can catch many users off guard.

These controls are used after the snap when users are only controlling a single player, and they allow players to speed rush to tackle an opponent or cover a passing lane, swat a ball in the middle of the air, and switch to a different player.

They are easier controls to master, but that doesn't mean they aren't as important as the rest of the defensive controls.

Some are easier to master than others, such as the dive tackler, or the breakdown tackle, but the hardest ones to learn, hit and cut stick, are the strongest this year, and if well performed, can stop players right in their track and also cause a lot of fumbles.

Blocking is a big part of the defense, as it can prevent players from gaining yards, and users can also use it to get past the opponent's offensive line and reach the quarterback, forcing a sack or a fumble.

This puts a lot of pressure on the offense and makes it harder for the quarterback to read the defense.

These controls allow users to control a single defensive player, having full control of that player, while the AI controls the rest of the defense. However, players can opt out of player lock whenever they want.

This is a great feature if a user wants to lockdown an opposing star receiver, as it can use player lock to only control the defender that is attributed to that receiver.

Here is everything users need to know about the Madden 25 controls to master them and become unbeatable in the field.

Best Playbooks in Madden 25

Best Playbooks in Madden 25 - Main Image

A great playbook can make players' offense and defense unstoppable, making it much easier to get points on the board, and painfully hard for the opponents to find success against their defense.

That's why it's crucial to know which are the best offense and defense playbooks in Madden 25, as they can be the difference between winning and losing.

Best Offense Playbooks in Madden 25

Steamrolling opponents on Madden 25 is one of the best feelings players can have, but that is only possible with a great offensive game, and users need a fantastic playbook for that.

In Madden 25, players can find success with an aerial assault or ground-and-pound approach, as long as they have a great playbook.

The Green Bay Packers playbook is widely regarded as the best playbook in Madden 25. This playbook is very balanced but excels in shotgun plays, offering a plethora of different formations that were meta in past editions and are still incredibly strong.

Formations such as Tight Y Off, Trips TE, Bunch Wide, Bunch Str Offset, and also Bunch TE, are all a part of this playbook. It's great for veteran Madden players, as it contains a lot of plays they will be familiar with, but also for rookie users, as these formations are very strong, and will make scoring much easier.

For players who want to have a good mixture of passing and running the football, then the Baltimore Ravens playbook is the perfect one.

This playbook contains some good shotgun formations, while also having some other unique formations, such as Heavy Raven, which heavily relies on the quarterback running the football. It also has the U Off Trips formation, which is new to the game, and provides a lot of different plays, with read options, RPOs, HB sweep, and many others.

The Ravens playbook can catch opponents off guard if they aren't familiar with it, and is incredibly strong when users have a fast quarterback, such as Lamar Jackson, Justin Fields, and Kyler Murray, among others.

Another playbook players need to at least try out is the Indianapolis Colts playbook.

This playbook is also shotgun-heavy, but it has something that differentiates it from the rest, as it contains the Bunch Offset formation. Furthermore, as of the time of writing, it's the only playbook in the game with the Double Post play, which has been one of the best plays in Madden for years.

Best Defensive Playbooks in Madden 25

It's almost impossible to win games without getting stops, and that's why having a good defensive playbook is crucial, as it can help players nullify their opponents, and secure easy wins.

The Kansas City Chiefs defensive playbook is the best one in Madden 25, as it contains some great formations, such as 4-3 Even 6-1, and Big Nickel Over G, which is great for veteran players who excel at making cover adjustments, Nickel 3-3, and Dime 3-2.

These formations provide a good pass rush, allow users to pressure the quarterback, and have the ability to make a plethora of adjustments. Dime 3-2 also has many new formations which can come in handy, especially when players are trying to surprise their opponent.

In second place we have the Multiple D playbook, which contains some great defensive formations, such as Nickel 3-3, and Dime 3-2, both of which are also in the Kansas City Chiefs playbook, and the 3-4 Odd one.

This playbook contains some great blitzing plays, allowing users to put a lot of pressure on the opposing offensive line. It also has great zone-cover plays, making it an all-around solid playbook.

The Eagles defensive playbook is also one players need to try out, as it contains great formations, unique plays, and the 3-3-5 Penny formation allows for a lot of player adjustments, that many other formations don't.

These playbooks can help players take their defense to the next level, and secure a lot of wins in Ultimate Team, or Franchise mode.

Madden 25 was one of the most anticipated sports games of 2024, and as soon as the early access began, players didn't waste time, picked up their controllers, and tried out the new entry in the Madden franchise.

Surprisingly, most users' first impressions of the game have been positive, especially when it comes to its gameplay. However, there are also some things fans aren't enjoying.

The Best Madden Gameplay in a Long Time

According to many players, the Madden 25 gameplay is great, with some going as far as saying it's the best gameplay of a Madden title in years.

Players are enjoying the new BOOM Tech feature, as it creates more realistic collisions, and tackles, which makes the gameplay more dynamic and immersive.

The player movements look more authentic, and a lot of users are also enjoying the revamped hit stick, which is harder to master, but delivers some satisfying tackles when well-timed.

Most users are enjoying the Madden 25 gameplay so far, as it's been providing an entertaining but also authentic gaming experience, that does a great job walking the fine line between simulation and arcade that most sports titles struggle with.

A Vastly Improved UI

Another thing the Madden community loved is the new UI, which looks incredibly better than in Madden 24. The menus are also much faster, and easier to navigate, making the player's experience more enjoyable.

This might not seem that important, or a huge upgrade, for many users, but when we take into account just how slow the Madden 24 menus were, having a responsive menu, that also looks good, is a huge quality of life improvement.

Franchise Mode Leaves A Lot to Desire

There is one thing the majority of the Madden community agrees with, and it's that the Franchise mode changes were underwhelming, with some saying the new features actually make the mode less immersive, and fun to play.

Franchise cutscenes are something many players don't like, as according to some users they are slow, and might even glitch the game, which is less than ideal.

It's also worth noting that players who choose to start a franchise save as the owner won't have any of the new cutscenes, and scenarios, available, at least at the time of writing. Hopefully, this is something EA Sports is quick to fix.

All in all, users are enjoying Madden 25 so far, especially the gameplay, which normally is under a lot of criticism. So it's great to see the new Madden title is providing players with an entertaining gaming experience.

Master the Juke Mechanic in Madden 25

Master the Juke Mechanic in Madden 25 - Main Image

The juke mechanic is one of the best ones to create separation from defenders in Madden 25, allowing players to earn some extra yards, which can be game-changing sometimes.

Because of that, mastering the juke mechanic is very important, as it will give users an advantage over their opponents, and a way out of hard situations.

How to Juke in Madden 25

The juke mechanic is quite easy to perform, and Madden console players only need to flick the right stick to the side they want to perform the juke. So flicking the right stick to the right for a right juke, to the left for a left juke, and down to perform a dead leg juke.

This process is slightly different for PC players, as they have to press A for a left juke, D for a right juke, and S to do the dead leg juke.

Timing is key when it comes to juke moves in Madden 25, as a well-timed juke can leave opponents in the dust, laying down the red carpet for the end zone, a first down, or just a good gain of yards.

Jukes will be performed by running backs and wide receivers, the majority of the time, as they are the biggest offensive threats of most teams, and are the ones that will have the ball in their hands most of the time.

That's why learning how to juke in Madden 25 is so important, as it can be the difference between a five-yard or a 10-yard gain in a running play, a first-down conversion, or even a touchdown.

Like most things in life, practice makes perfect when it comes to mastering the juke mechanic. So players should head into the practice mode, and practice their jukes there until they become second nature.

This is everything players need to know about the juke mechanic in Madden 25, and how to master it.

Bobby Okereke - 81 OVR
Shaq Thompson - 80 OVR

As you can see, Fred Warner and Roquan Smith are the two best linebackers in Madden 25 Ultimate Team, even if just for a slight margin. Demario Davis comes in close third place and possesses some great attributes, such as 80 speed, 80 acceleration, 83 tackle, and 83 play recognition.

These three players stand out from the rest, and you should definitely add them to your squad, if you have the chance to do so, of course. However, the other players in this list also have great attributes and abilities, so you will be well served no matter the player you choose.

We expect these cards to be meta in the first few weeks of the game, at least until the first Madden 25 Ultimate Team program or promo is announced by EA Sports.

What do you think of this list, and which one of these players do you really want to have on your team at the start of Madden 25? Let us know in the comments below!

Madden 25 Superstar Mode Deep Dive Introduces Exciting New Features

Madden 25 Superstar Mode Deep Dive Introduces Exciting New Features - Main Image

The Madden 25 Superstar Deep Dive has finally arrived, and it announced some exciting new features, which aim to make the mode more immersive, authentic, and enjoyable.

Apart from the new features, many existing ones were also revamped, and players will have a level of customization that has never been seen before, news that left Madden fans quite happy.

Character Creation

The Superstar mode truly begins after players have created their character, and chosen their archetype.

In Madden 25, players can create their character archetype from scratch, or use one of the new preset archetypes, with different archetypes focusing on various attributes, and providing different maximum ratings.

Players can spend up to three creation points on any attribute, which will impact the starting rating of that attribute, its max rating, as well as its ability cap. Furthermore, users will need to choose between spending the points on mental skills or physical ones.

Mental skills have abilities associated with them, but physical skills don't. However, physical skills will impact how your player moves on the field, and his interactions.

As mentioned further above, the Madden 25 Superstar mode presents a customization level like never seen before, with players having a plethora of new faces, hairstyles, and facial hair options, to choose from. Tattoos have also been introduced, adding yet another layer of customization.

Perhaps the best new feature, is that players can import their College Football 25 Road to Glory character and use it in Madden 25 Superstar mode. This makes the mode much more immersive.

The NFL Scouting Combine Actually Matters

The NFL scouting combine is much more important than ever before in Superstar mode, as now players' performances on the combine can affect some of their attribute ratings for the rest of their careers.

A stellar performance on the NFL combine will also have a big impact on the player's draft board ranking. Combine drills now take into consideration a player's role, and 26 new mini-games have been added to combine in Madden 25.

A Huge Revamp to Superstar Quests

Superstar quests were already part of the Superstar mode last year, however, this year the feature underwent some significant improvements.

While in Madden 24 the quests were generic, in Madden 25, Superstar quests will be based on your player's skillset, answers in narrative moments, and journey.

Quests are also now performance-driven, and they will adapt to your performances, and your team's current form. If your team is losing, the type of quests you will get will be different from if you are steamrolling opponents.

Unrivaled quests were also added, and they allow you to target your NFL rival, adding a little bit more spicy to the games. Similar to last year, completing quests will earn you rewards, which you can then use to upgrade your character.

Superstar Showdown is Back!

As expected, Superstar Showdown is back to Superstar mode in Madden 25, but it brings many new events, which will be added throughout the year.

At the start of Season 1, the Ochocinco Celebration event and Season of Boom will go live, giving players new ways to experience Superstar Showdown.

Speaking of new ways to experience Superstar Showdown, players can now face their friends on some 3v3 action, in Challenge mode.

Superstar mode introduces a lot of new features in Madden 25, and also revamped many existing ones, making the game mode more immersive, entertaining, and attractive for players who have never tried it out before.

What do you think of these changes to the Superstar mode, and will you be playing it? Let us know in the comments below!

Madden 25 Ultimate Team - Best Halfbacks Will Suprise Fans

Madden 25 Ultimate Team - Best Halfbacks Will Suprise Fans - Main Image

The Madden 25 Ultimate Team ratings week continues, and after announcing the best defensive ends, defensive tackles, and offensive linemen, EA Sports revealed the ten best halfbacks in the game mode.

Halfbacks are incredibly important in Madden, especially if you like to run the football. However, that isn't all they do, as the best halfbacks in the game are competent blockers, and good catchers.

Best Halfbacks in Madden 25 Ultimate Team

The list of best halfbacks in Madden 25 Ultimate Team contains some huge surprises.

Some of the players that were in the default halfbacks list, the one that is used for Franchise mode and other offline modes, aren't here, which left many fans surprised.

Here are the best halfbacks in Madden 25 Ultimate Team:

Best halfbacks in Madden 25 Ultimate Team
Christian McCaffrey - 84 OVR
Nick Chubb - 83 OVR
Derrick Henry - 82 OVR
Saquon Barkley - 82 OVR
Travis Etienne Jr. - 81 OVR
Josh Jacobs - 81 OVR
Aaron Jones - 81 OVR
Joe Mixon - 81 OVR
Jonathan Taylor - 80 OVR
Breece Hall - 80 OVR

Christian McCaffrey and Nick Chubb are in a league of their own, as the ratings demonstrate, and they possess some incredible attributes, making them the cards to have in the halfback position.

Having a great halfback is essential to finding success in the running game, and all the players on this list can help you take your running game to the next level.

A good running game can force opponents to change their defensive approach, opening more opportunities for passing plays, and making your offense almost impossible to read.

So if you really like to run the football, make sure you consider at least one of the players in this list. They won't be cheap, as they are the best cards in their position at the beginning of the game, but they are well worth it.

Madden NFL 25 Developers Worked with Mike Tomlin on New Kickoff Rules

As the NFL season approaches, there’s considerable interest in how the new kickoff rules will affect the game, with coaches particularly curious about their impact. Mike Tomlin, the Super Bowl-winning Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a member of the NFL Rules Committee, was keen to see how these rules would play out in practice. To get ahead of the curve, he used Madden NFL 25 to better understand and strategize around the changes.

The new Dynamic Kickoff rule is going into action tonight at the @ProFootballHOF Game.

The Madden NFL Development Team integrated the new kickoff rules into Madden NFL 25 with visual aids, commentary and new kick types to help fans grasp the adjustments. Coach Tomlin, who regards Madden NFL as a “real simulator,” collaborated with Clint Oldenburg, Production Director, and the development team over several weeks to explore the new special teams setup. All of this happened after the Madden team had already finished production of the game.

The Standard Edition of Madden NFL 25 will release on August 16 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. The Deluxe Edition and EA Play trial will release on August 12 at 4:00 PM ET. Best Defensive Ends in Madden 25 Ultimate Team

Best Defensive Ends in Madden 25 Ultimate Team - Main Image

The Madden 25 Ultimate Team ratings reveal week is in full force, and after revealing the 10 best defensive tackles, and offensive linemen, EA Sports announced the best defensive ends.

Defensive ends are tasked with putting pressure on the quarterback, making his job of reading the defense much harder, and giving the quarterback less time to make decisions.

Best Defensive Ends in Madden 25 Ultimate Team

The saying defense wins championships is also true in Madden, so that's why is so important to have a solid defensive line, that can get stops, force fumbles, and stop runs, making the opposing team's offense job feel almost impossible.

Defensive ends are a big part of that, since, as mentioned above, they put pressure on the quarterback, and if they are successful, a sack will most likely be the result.

Here are the 10 best defensive ends in Madden 25:

Best defensive ends in Madden 25
Maxx Crosby - 84 OVR
Micah Parsons - 84 OVR
Myles Garrett - 84 OVR
Nick Bosa - 83 OVR
Trey Hendrickson - 83 OVR
Cameron Heyward - 83 OVR
Aidan Hutchinson - 82 OVR
Demarcus Lawrence - 82 OVR
Cameron Jordan - 82 OVR
Kenny Clark - 81 OVR

As you can see, this list is full of defensive monsters, such as Maxx Crosby, Micah Parsons, and Nick Bosa, who are experts in pressing the offensive line and instilling fear in the hearts of quarterbacks.

For the beginning of Madden 25, these cards are tremendous, as they have incredible attributes and abilities, are the best in their position, and can make defense a whole lot easier.

We expect these cards to be meta for at least the first few weeks of Madden 25 until EA Sports launches its first big promo or program.

However, these cards won't be cheap at the beginning of the game, so make sure you consider their attributes, abilities, and team chemistries, to see which one fits your squad the best.

What do you think of these cards, and which ones will you be picking up? Let us know in the comments below.

After the reveal of the best offensive linemen in Madden 25 Ultimate Team, EA Sports revealed the top ten defensive tackles in the mode, and there are some surprises in the list.

These players are masters in the art of tackling, stopping runs, and preventing important catches, and will be a fine addition to everyone's squad at the beginning of the game.

Best Defensive Tackles in Madden 25 Ultimate Team

Having great defensive tacklers is incredibly important in Ultimate Team, and Madden in general.

They can take your defensive line to the next level, making it very hard for opponents to run the football, while also putting a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Here are the 10 best defensive tacklers in Madden 25:

Best defensive tacklers in Madden 25
Chris Jones - 84 OVR
Quinnen Williams - 83 OVR
Dexter Lawrence III - 83 OVR
Justin Madubuike - 83 OVR
Jonathan Allen - 82 OVR
Vita Vea - 82 OVR
Christian Wilkins - 82 OVR
DeForest Buckner - 81 OVR
D.J. Reader - 81 OVR
Michael Pierce - 81 OVR

As you can see, Chris Jones is the best defensive tackler in Madden 25 Ultimate Team, being the only player in the position to have an 84 OVR. All of the players in this list have some incredible attributes, but some excel in different things than others.

These are first-day cards, and they are expected to be meta for the first few weeks of the game, at least until the first big promo is introduced.

If you want to have the best squad possible at the beginning of the game, then you need to have at least some of the cards in this list on your team, as they will make your defensive line significantly better.

However, it's worth noting that these cards will probably be quite expensive at the start of the game. So make sure you take a look at their attributes, and abilities, and see which ones you really want.

What do you think of these cards, and which ones will you be picking up? Let us know in the comments below.

Fastest Players in Madden 25

Fastest Players in Madden 25 - Main Image

Speed is the ultimate weapon in football which is why knowing the fastest players in Madden 25 is so important. Whether you're burning past defenders on offense or chasing down quarterbacks on defense, having players with blazing speed can dramatically impact the outcome of any game.

In Franchise Mode you can find speed from a lot of different places, and the OVR score of each player does not fully justify the impact of speed in Madden 25.

Fastest players in Madden 25

Speed in Madden 25 dictates the player's ability to outrun defenders, create separation, and exploit weaknesses in the opposition.

The speed attribute in Madden 25 dictates top speed, while acceleration is how quickly they get to that top speed and agility dictates their ability to dodge would-be blockers or tacklers.

Speed is so important in the way Madden plays that a user-controlled player with a low OVR can out-perform some of the highest OVR players in the game.

These are the top 20 fastest players in Madden 25.

The Best Offensive Linemen in Madden 25 Ultimate Team!

The Best Offensive Linemen in Madden 25 Ultimate Team! - Main Image

The Madden 25 Ultimate Team ratings week is here, and EA Sports decided to start it by revealing the best offensive linemen in Madden's most popular game mode.

These players have some great attributes and abilities and are the ones you will want to have in your squad at the start of the game. They will do a great job at protecting the quarterback, and gain more time for you to make the best play.

Madden 25 Best Offensive Linemen in Ultimate Team

The top ten list of offensive linemen in Ultimate Team is quite different from the default one, which is used for Franchise mode, quick play, and many other offline game modes.

Some players are higher or lower in this list, while others didn't even make the top ten, which, of course, left some Madden fans upset.

Here are the top ten offensive linemen in Madden 25 Ultimate Team:

Best offensive linemen in Madden 25 Ultimate Team
Trent Williams - 84 OVR
Joe Thuney - 84 OVR
Penei Sewell - 84 OVR
Zack Martin - 84 OVR
Frank Ragnow -84 OVR
Quenton Nelson - 83 OVR
Creed Humphrey - 83 OVR
Lane Johnson - 83 OVR
Tryon Smith - 83 OVR
Chris Lindstrom - 83 OVR

As you can see, the best offensive linemen at the start of Madden 25 Ultimate Team, more especially the top five, will have an 84 OVR, while the others will have an 83 OVR.

The card art is similar to the one we saw in past editions of Madden, which is disappointing, as this card art is dull, and EA Sports can certainly do better than this.

These cards all have some spectacular stats, especially when we take into consideration they are day-one cards, that will be meta for the first weeks of Madden 25.

So if you want to have a great team straight out of the gate, you will need some of these players in your squad.

Madden 25 Gameplay First Look Showcases New Features

Madden 25 Gameplay First Look Showcases New Features - Main Image

The Madden 25 Gameplay First Look gave fans the chance to see all the new features in action, demonstrating just how much they will impact the gameplay, making the title more immersive but also more enjoyable to play.

It also provided a more in-depth explanation of some features, such as Boom-Tech, the revamped hit stick, the new Ball Carrier mechanics, and more.

But are these changes enough to make Madden great again? Let's find out!

A More In-depth Look at the New Features

As mentioned above, the Madden 25 Gameplay First Look gave fans a better look at the new gameplay features, which were announced in the Madden 25 Gameplay Deep Dive.

Features such as Boom-Tech, the new ball carrier, including new jukes and spin moves, the new pass-blocking mechanics, custom stems, which allow players to change routes, as well as the new catching animations, especially the one-handed catch, were highlighted during the gameplay first look.

The new hit stick looked incredibly strong when well-timed, causing some fumbles, and completely stopping players who were hit by it.

Another mechanic that looked particularly strong was the spin move, as it was able to take opponents completely out of the play and create a lot of space for the ball carrier. Players will have to time it right, but if they can do that, then the spin move will be a great weapon to have in your arsenal.

We also got to see the new catching animations, which looked quite good, especially the one-handed catch, which gives the receiver a bigger catch radius but is also more susceptible to drops or knockouts.

A little Bit Underwhelming

While the Madden 25 Gameplay First Look wasn't necessarily bad, we were hoping for a little more.

Yes, fans were able to see most of the new features in action, but not for that long, which makes it hard to evaluate the new features, and the gameplay in general.

Will these features actually change how the gameplay feels? Are all of them really that impactful? Can any of these features make the gameplay less enjoyable to play, instead of making it more immersive?

These are all questions we, unfortunately, don't get answers to. So it's hard to gauge just how much the Madden 25 gameplay changes, and if the new features, apart from Boom-Tech, will actually have the huge impact EA Sports claims they will.

We will only have the answers to that once we get our hands on the game, as experiencing the gameplay is the only way to gauge how the game feels, if it's enjoyable to play if the features make it more immersive and realistic, or if it's just a slight upgrade from Madden 24.

What did you think of the Madden 25 Gameplay First look? Let us know in the comments below!

Madden 25 Best Linebackers Will Generate Controversy

Madden 25 Best Linebackers Will Generate Controversy - Main Image

At last, the final day of the Madden 25 ratings week is here. After revealing the wide receivers, safeties, running backs, defensive linemen, offensive linemen, cornerbacks, and tight ends ratings, Madden has finally announced the linebacker ratings.

These ratings are certain to generate some discussion in the community, which isn't something abnormal, as fans value different things in players, which ultimately impacts how they evaluate them.

Without further ado, let's see who are the ten best linebackers in Madden 25.

Fred Warner (97 OVR)

When it comes to linebackers, there is none better than Fred Warner, and that's why the 49ers star maintains their place on the throne in Madden 25.

Warner is great against the run and the pass, being incredibly quick at understanding what type of play the opposing team is going for, which gives them an advantage over their opponents.

In the 2023 season, Warner helped the 49ers reach the Super Bowl final, recording 132 tackles, 11 passes defended, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions, in the process.

Roquan Smith (95 OVR)

Coming in at a close second place, we have Roquan Smith, from the Baltimore Ravens.

Smith was one of the biggest responsible for the success of the Raven's defense, recording 158 tackles, eight passes defended, one forced fumble, and one interception.

They are incredibly fast, agile, and similar to Warner, they excel against both the run and passing game. So a 95 OVR for Smith in Madden 25 seems appropriate.

Demario Davis (92 OVR)

Closing out the top three, we have the New Orleans Saints star linebacker, Demario Davis. Davis is coming off a fantastic 2023 season, where they recorded 121 tackles, four passes defended, and one forced fumble.

The veteran linebacker continues to prove he belongs among the elite, as their 2023 numbers and second Pro Bowl selection demonstrate.

Lavonte David (90 OVR)

In fourth place, we have Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran star linebacker, Lavonte David, who similar to Davis, is also coming off a spectacular season.

David has been one of the best NFL linebackers for a long time, and in the 2023 season, they had 134 tackles, with 17 of those being for a loss, five passes defended, and one forced fumble.

It seems that similar to Davis, David has no intention of leaving the elite linebacker group anytime soon.

C.J. Mosley (90 OVR)

Closing out the top five we have New York Jets linebacker, C.J. Mosley.

Mosley had a good 2023 season, with the veteran NFL linebacker recording 152 tackles, five of those for a loss, seven passes defended, two forced fumbles, and one interception.

In Madden 25, Mosley is quite fast, has great tackling, and is decent in both man and zone coverage.

Foyesade Oluokun (89 OVR)

In sixth place, we have Foyesade Oluokun, the star linebacker of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Oluokun numbers in the 2023 season were slightly lower when compared to their 2021 and 202 seasons, but they were still very good.

Oluokun recorded 173 tackles, eight of those being for a loss, had six passes defended, one forced fumble, and one interception, which resulted in a returned touchdown.

Dre Greenlaw (87 OVR)

The 49er's rising star, Dre Greenlaw, occupies the seventh place on this list.

Greenlaw had a fantastic 2023 season, recording 120 tackles, five of those for a loss, four passes defended, and helped the 49ers make it to another Super Bowl.

So, Greenlaw's seventh place in this list is more than deserved.

Matt Milano (87 OVR)

The Buffalo Bills linebacker, Matt Milano, occupies the eighth place in this list.

Milan 2023 season is on they want to forget as fast as possible, as a broken leg made them miss most of the season. Despite that, Milano had solid numbers in the 2022 and 2021 seasons, which justifies their eighth place in the list.

Bobby Wagner (87 OVR)

In ninth place, we have veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner, who signed for the Washington Commanders in this year's free agency.

Wagner already had a Hall of Fame career, but their 2023 season performance reinforced that, with Wagner recording an incredible 183 tackles, 11 of those for a loss, three passes defended, and one fumble recovered.

Some might argue that Wagner deserved a higher place in the list, and that's certainly a discussion worth having.

Bobby Okereke (86 OVR)

Closing out the top ten, we have Bobby Okereke, from the New York Giants, who possesses some good attributes across the board in Madden 25.

Okereke had a solid 2023 season, with 149 tackles, 11 of those for a loss, 10 passes defended, four forced fumbles, and two interceptions. Because of that, it's not a surprise to see them in the top ten.

Madden 25 Best Quarterbacks Upsets Fans

Madden 25 Best Quarterbacks Upsets Fans - Main Image

The last day of the Madden 25 ratings reveal week is finally here, and after revealing the wide receivers, safeties, running backs, defensive linemen, and offensive linemen, EA Sports has finally revealed the ratings of the position everyone was waiting for, quarterbacks.

Quarterbacks are arguably the most important players in football, they are the field generals, who can change the momentum of a game with a single pass, or a run, and can lead your squad to many wins.

Without further ado, let's see who are the ten best quarterbacks of Madden 25.

Patrick Mahomes (99 OVR)

It comes as no surprise to see Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in Madden 25, or that he is part of the Madden 25 99 Club.

Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to yet another Super Bowl win, recording great numbers, and cementing himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, for those that still had any doubt left that is.

The number one spot and 99 OVR in Madden 25 was the least EA Sports could have done, after another historical season from a generational player.

Lamar Jackson (98 OVR)

Lamar Jackson continues to prove their haters wrong year after year, with the Baltimore Ravens quarterback coming off a monstrous 2023 season, where they passed for an impressive 3678 yards, rushed for 821 yards, had 24 touchdown passes, and five rushing touchdowns.

Jackson led the Ravens to the AFC Conference final, where they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, who would go on to win their second Lombardi trophy in a row.

Jackson is one of the most unique and exciting quarterbacks to watch, and their numbers in the last season speak for themselves. The number two spot, and 98 OVR, are more than deserved.

Joe Burrow (93 OVR)

Closing out the top three, we have the Cincinnati Bengals superstar, Joe Burrow. The 2023 season for Burrow can be described in one word, injuries, as the Bengals quarterback was never at 100% during the 2023 season.

Without them, the Bengals failed to make the playoffs, which also proves just how important Burrow is for the success of the franchise. Despite a sub-par 2023 season, most fans agree that, when healthy, Burrow is at least a top-three quarterback in the league.

Josh Allen (92 OVR)

In fourth place we have the Buffalo Bills superstar player, and Madden 24 cover athlete, Josh Allen.

The Bills superstar had another tremendous season in 2023, passing for 4306 yards, and passing 29 touchdowns, while also rushing for 524 yards, and an impressive 15 touchdowns, more than their two previous seasons combined.

Many will argue Allen deserves a spot in the top three, and that is certainly a worthy discussion to have.

Dak Prescott (90 OVR)

Closing out the top five we have Dak Prescott, the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, who looked promising in the regular season, but in typical Cowboys fashion, where a disappointment in the playoffs.

Prescott had some good numbers in the 2023 season, but he struggled when it meant the most. When the Cowboys faced actually good teams, such as the 49ers, Prescott crumbled under the pressure.

So a place in the top five might come as a shock for many Madden fans.

Tua Tagovailoa (88 OVR)

Tua Tagovailoa comes in at sixth place, as the Miami Dolphins quarterback had by far their best year, with an impressive 4624 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns.

Tagovailoa had his first taste of playoff football, where the Dolphins lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. After such a great season, the Miami Dolphins didn't think twice about extending his contract and making him the franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future.

An 88 OVR for Tua Tagovailoa in Madden 25 seems appropriate.

Justin Herbert (87 OVR)

At number seven we have the Los Angeles Chargers star, Justin Herbert. The 2023 season is one Herbert wants to forget as fast as possible, as injuries made them miss five games, which affected their numbers.

Despite that, Herbert's numbers were stil solid, with 3134 passing yards, and 20 passing touchdowns. So a place at number eight seems fitting.

Jalen Hurts (87 OVR)

Look away Eagles fans, as Jalen Hurts is the eighth-best quarterback in Madden 25, something the Philly faithful certainly won't appreciate.

Hurts 2023 season was a pretty good one, passing for a career-high 3858 yards, and 23 passing touchdowns, as well as rushing for 605 yards, and 15 touchdowns.

Despite that, Hurts sees their rating drop from 88 OVR to 86 OVR, and drops three places in the list, compared to last year.

Brock Purdy (85 OVR)

At number nine, we have the rising star, Brock Purdy, quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers. Purdy's 2023 season was nothing sort of amazing, as the 49ers star recorded 4280 passing yards, and an impressive 31 touchdown passes.

They proved they could handle the pressure, especially since this was Purdy's second NFL season and their first as the starting quarterback. If you ask 49ers fans, they will say Purdy should be much higher on this list.

Kirk Cousins (84 OVR)

Closing out the top ten, we have Kirk Cousins, who has recently signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

Cousins' 2023 season was sub-par, but that's mainly because they only played eight games, and injuries plagued them. However, Cousins' last seasons are enough to justify a place for them on this list, at least that's what Madeen thinks.

These are the ten best quarterbacks in Madden 25, that can help you lead your team to the promised land in Franchise mode.

What do you think of the Madden 25 quarterback rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Madden 25 Best Cornerbacks Ranking Will Leave Fans Speechless

Madden 25 Best Cornerbacks Ranking Will Leave Fans Speechless - Main Image

The end of the Madden 25 ratings week is just around the corner, with EA Sports having revealed the wide receivers, safeties, running backs, defensive linemen, and offensive linemen ratings.

Today, EA Sports finally announced the cornerback's ratings, with some surprises in the top ten, and as usual, some Madden fans weren't very happy about it.

So without further ado, let's take a look at the 10 best cornerbacks in Madden 25.

Sauce Gardner (97 OVR)

The New York Jets superstar player, Sauce Gardner, has taken the throne away from Jalen Ramsey.

Gardner had a fantastic 2023 season, with 57 tackles, and 11 passes defended. This earned him his second-ever Pro Bowl and First-Team AP All-Pro selection.

In just two years, Gardner has proved he is an elite NFL cornerback, so the first place seems more than deserving for the rising star.

Jalen Ramsey (96 OVR)

Jalen Ramsey is the second-best cornerback in Madden, with a 96 OVR. In his first season wearing the Miami Dolphins colors, Ramsey put up some solid numbers, in just 10 games.

Ramsey is capable of lockdown the best wide receivers in the league. In Madden 25, he is incredibly fast and agile, has great awareness, and excels in both zone and man coverage.

Patrick Surtain II (95 OVR)

Closing out the top three we have Patrick Surtain II, from the Denver Broncos. Similar to Gardner, Surtain II is also a rising star and is coming off a great 2023 season, where he recorded 69 tackles, 12 passes defended, and one interception.

Surtain II's speed and acceleration are remarkable, he is very agile and is impressive in both zone and man coverage. Even the best wide receivers in the game will have a hard time creating separation from Surtain II.

Jaire Alexander (93 OVR)

In fourth place, we have the Green Bay Packers star cornerback, Jaire Alexander, with a 93 OVR. Unfortunately, Alexander missed most of the 2023 season due to injury, so his numbers were sub-par.

Despite that, he is still widely regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in the league when healthy, and his former seasons prove just that.

So while many might think Alexander being the fourth-best cornerback in Madden 25 doesn't make sense, we think it's an appropriate place for the Packers player.

L'Jarius Sneed (92 OVR)

Closing out the top five, we have the Tennessee Titans cornerback, L'Jarius Sneed. Sneed had a great 2023 season, with 78 tackles, 14 passes defended, and two interceptions, and also helped the Chiefs win another Super Bowl trophy.

In Madden 25, Sneed is astonishingly fast, and agile, has great stamina, and also excels in zone coverage.

Charvarius Ward (91 OVR)

Just outside the top five, we have Charvarius Ward, from the San Francisco 49ers, who is coming off a career year. In the 2023 seasons, Ward recorded 72 tackles, 23 passes defended, and five interceptions.

Ward helped the San Francisco 49ers reach the Super Bowl final, was selected for his first Pro Bowl, and cemented himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

Marlon Humphrey (91 OVR)

Baltimore Ravens star Marlon Humphrey occupies the seventh place in this ranking. Just like Lattimore, Humphrey is coming off an injury riddle 2023 season, where they only played 10 games.

Despite that, Humphrey has proved he deserves a place among the best cornerbacks in the league when healthy, having been selected to three Pro Bowls, and one First-Team AP All-Pro.

A seventh place seems appropriate for Humphrey, who will hopefully have a bounce-back season.

Denzel Ward (90 OVR)

In eighth place, we have Cleveland Browns cornerback, Denzel Ward, who cemented himself as an elite cornerback in the 2023 season. Ward was selected for their third Pro Bowl appearance, after recording 34 tackles, 11 passes defended, and two interceptions.

Ward's speed and acceleration stand out, but they also have solid zone and man coverage attributes

Trent McDuffie (90 OVR)

In ninth place, we have Trent McDuffie, who had a spectacular 2023 years, being selected for their first Pro Bowl, and winning their second Lombardi trophy.

McDuffie had some spectacular numbers in the 2023 season, recording 60 tackles, seven passes defended, and five forced fumbles, cementing himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

Marshon Lattimore (90 OVR)

Closing out the top ten, we have Marshon Lattimore, from the New Orleans Saints. Lattimore is coming off a sub-par season, where they only played 22 games, recording 48 tackles, eight passes defended, and one interception.

Despite being a four-time Pro Bowler, Lattimore's last two seasons haven't been great, mainly because they have been plagued by injuries. Because of that, many might argue that Lattimore shouldn't be on the list.

These are the ten best cornerbacks in Madden 25, that can help you a lot in Franchise mode, especially if you are struggling defensively.

What do you think of the Madden 25 cornerback rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Madden 25 Best Tight Ends Will Shock Fans

Madden 25 Best Tight Ends Will Shock Fans - Main Image

The Madden 25 ratings week doesn't stop, and EA Sports has already revealed the ratings of wide receivers, safeties, running backs, defensive linemen, and offensive linemen. Today we finally got to know who are the best tight ends in the game!

Tight ends aren't only an offensive weapon, or players who are great at creating separation and catching a pass, they are also good blockers and can be used to create space in the defensive line for their running back.

Without further ado, let's find out who are the 10 best tight ends in Madden 25.

Travis Kelce (99 OVR)

Not only is Travis Kelce the best tight end in Madden 25, but he is also a member of the 99 Club. Kelce has been an elite tight end for many years, and he is one of the big offensive weapons the Kansas City Chiefs have at their disposal.

Kelce helped the Kansas City Chiefs win their second Lombardi trophy in a row, adding yet another milestone to his already Hall of Fame career. Having any other player at number one wouldn't feel right, as Kelce definitely deserves to sit on the throne.

George Kittle (97 OVR)

Just like Kelce, Kittle has proven time and time again he is one of the best tight ends in the NFL, and he has played an important role in the 49er's success in the past few years.

Kittle is coming off a great 2023 season, where he helped the 49ers make the Super Bowl, made his fifth Pro Bowl, and his second First Team All-Pro. So a second place for Kittle feels fair.

Mark Andrews (94 OVR)

Closing out the top three we have the Baltimore Ravens star, Mark Andrews, who is coming off a below-average 2023 season, where he only played 10 games due to injury.

Despite that, most fans will agree that Andrews is still a top-three tight end in the league and that his 2021 and 2022 seasons prove just that.

T.J. Hockenson (91 OVR)

In fourth place, we have T.J. Hockenson, of the Minnesota Vikings, who is coming off a great 2023 season, where he had his second-best career year in receiving yards.

Hockenson is arguably one of the best blocking tight ends in the league, while also having a great catch rate.

David Njoku (90 OVR)

Closing out the top five we have David Njoku, from the Cleveland Browns, who is coming off a career year in 2023, with 882 receiving yards, and six touchdowns.

Njoku made his first Pro Bowl and cemented his place as an elite tight end. So a place in the top five feels deserving for the Browns star.

Evan Engram (88 OVR)

Evan Engram is the sixth-best tight end in Madden 25, with the Jacksonville Jaguars player coming off a spectacular year. Engram numbers in the 2023 season were nothing short of amazing, with a career-high 963 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.

Some might think Engram is too high on this list, but after a great season, a sixth place seems fitting.

Sam LaPorta (85 OVR)

In seventh place, we have the Detroit Lions tight end, Sam LaPorta, who is coming off a spectacular rookie season, where they had 889 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, and were selected for their first Pro Bowl.

LaPorta is very fast in Madden 25, quite agile, is great at catching the ball in traffic, and is decently strong. Their 85 OVR and eighth place in this ranking are more than deserved.

Dallas Goedert (85 OVR)

Goedert occupies the eighth place in this list, and he is one of the most well-rounded tight ends in Madden 25, with good attributes all around.

He had a solid 2023 season, where he once again showed why he is considered one of the best blocking tight ends in the league.

Dalton Schultz (84 OVR)

In ninth place, we have Dalton Schultz, from the Houston Texans, who is coming off a solid season.

In Madden 25, Schultz has good attributes all around, with solid blocking, good speed, and great catching.

Cole Kmet (83 OVR)

Closing out the top ten we have Cole Kmet, from the Chicago Bears, who had a great 2023 season, with 719 receiving yards, and six touchdowns.

In Madden 25, Kmet has good attributes all around, with decent blocking, good speed, and great catching.

What do you think of the Madden 25 tight end rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Best Edge Rushers in Madden 25 Will Suprise Fans

Best Edge Rushers in Madden 25 Will Suprise Fans - Main Image

After revealing the best wide receivers and safeties in Madden 25, EA Sports has now announced the top ten edge rushers in the game.

Edge rushers are the nightmare of every quarterback, as they put pressure on the offensive line, and the best ones can get to the quarterback, forcing a sack, a hard pass, or forcing the quarterback to throw the ball away.

So let's take a look at the ten best edge rushers in Madden 25.

Myles Garrett (98 OVR)

Sitting on the throne, we have Myles Garrett, with the Browns superstar being a 98 OVR. Garret instills fear in the hearts of opposing quarterbacks and is coming off an impressive 2023 season, where he had 44 tackles, 14 sacks, and four forced fumbles.

Garrett's defensive attributes are very similar to the ones of Parsons, as he also is extremely fast, strong, and agile. He excels at getting past the best offensive line and sacking quarterbacks.

Micah Parsons (98 OVR)

Micah Parsons is a force of nature, and a player no quarterback wants to see running towards him. Parsons' numbers in the 2023 season were spectacular, as the Cowboy's edge rusher had 64 tackles, 14 sacks, and one fumble.

His defensive attributes in Madden 25 are astonishing, has Parsons is incredibly fast, agile, strong, and has great awareness. This makes him not only the second-best edge rusher in Madden 25 but one of the most feared players in the game.

T.J. Watt (97 OVR)

Closing out the podium we have Pittsburgh Steelers superstar, T.J. Watt, who is coming off an amazing 2023 season, recording 68 tackles, 19 sacks, the most in the league, and four forced fumbles.

T.J. Watt has been one of the best edge rushers in the league for quite some time and is a player that can change the momentum of a game. When T.J. Watt plays well, the Steeler's chances of winning significantly increase.

In Madden 25, T.J. Watt has great defensive attributes and is definitely a player you want to have on your team.

Maxx Crosby (97 OVR)

In fourth place, we have the NFL Iron Man, and Raiders defensive superstar, Maxx Crosby, who is coming off a tremendous 2023 season. Last season, Crosby had an impressive 90 tackles, 14 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Crosby cemented himself as an elite edge rusher, and his defensive attributes in Madden 25 reflect just that. With 98 pursuit, 97 play recognition, 97 finesse moves, and 97 tackle, Crosby is an expert at putting pressure on the offensive line and the opposing quarterback.

Nick Bosa (96 OVR)

Nick Bosa was last year's best edge rusher, but the 49ers superstar dropped to fifth place this year. Despite that, Bosa's attributes are still impressive, and make no mistake about it, he still is an elite edge rusher.

There is an argument to be made that Bosa is as good or better than the two other 97 OVR players in this list, but that depends on what attributes you value the most.

Josh Allen (91 OVR)

The Jacksonville Jaguars star is coming off a great 2023 season, recording 66 tackles, 17 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception. Josh Allen proved he is among the best edge rushers in the game, but he still isn't quite on the level of any of the top five players.

Because of that, a sixth place seems adequate for Allen, at least for now.

DeMarcus Lawrence (91 OVR)

In seventh place, we have DeMarcus Lawrence, yet another Cowboys player, with a 92 OVR. As you can see there is a significant difference between the top five edge rushers in Madden 25 and the remaining players in the top ten.

Lawrence has some solid defensive attributes, but he is nowhere near the top five players in this list, as the rating indicates.

Khalil Mack (90 OVR)

Veteran Khalil Mack has once been regarded as the best edge rusher in football, and one of the most feared men in the NFL.

Mack had a great 2023 season, with 74 tackles, 17 sacks, and five forced fumbles, showing he still has what it takes to be considered an elite edge rusher. This might leave many players wondering why he is only at number nine on the list.

However, since the Madden ratings usually take into consideration the last three seasons, Khalil Mack's eighth place is appropriate, as his 2022 and 2021 seasons weren't great.

Alex Highsmith (89 OVR)

In ninth place, we have Pittsburgh Steelers player, Alex Highsmith.

Highsmith is coming off a below-average season, especially for his standards, but despite that, most people will agree that he still is a top-ten edge rusher in the NFL.

Trey Hendrickson (89 OVR)

Closing out the top ten we have Trey Hendrickson, from the Cincinnati Bengals. Hendrickson is coming off a career year, with 43 tackles, 17 sacks, and three forced fumbles.

He is a very solid edge rusher in Madden 25, with some good defensive attributes.

What do you think of the Madden 25 edge rusher rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Madden 25 Best Offensive Linemen Includes Big Surprises

Madden 25 Best Offensive Linemen Includes Big Surprises - Main Image

The Madden 25 rating week is at full steam, and after EA Sports revealed the best wide receivers, safeties, running backs, and defensive linemen, today was the day to announce the best offensive linemen in Madden 25.

These players will make sure your quarterback is safe and has the time necessary to make the best play. Getting past them is a hard task, even for the best defensive linemen in the game.

So let's take a look at the 10 best offensive linemen in Madden 25.

Trent Williams (99 OVR)

Trent Williams has a Hall of Fame career and the 49ers player has been one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL for a long time.

After a spectacular 2023 season, where he helped the 49ers reach yet another Super Bowl final, it's easy to see why Williams sits on the defensive linemen throne.

Zack Martin (97 OVR)

In second place, we have none other than the Dallas Cowboys superstar right guard, Zack Martin, with an impressive 97 OVR. Martin is incredibly fast, and his blocking attributes, as well as his strength, are astonishing.

Martin is coming off a great 2023 season, where he made his ninth Pro Bowl and his seventh First Team All-Pro. So a second place is this list feels appropriate.

Penei Sewell (96 OVR)

Closing out the top three, we have the Detroit Lions' rising star, Penei Sewell, who is coming off a career year in 2023.

Sewell cemented himself as an elite offensive linemen, helped the Lions get their first playoff victory in 32 years, and was selected for his first Team AP All-Pro, and his second Pro Bowl.

Taking all of this into consideration, a 96 OVR for Sewell in Madden 25 seems more than deserved.

Lane Johnson (95 OVR)

Lane Johnson has been an elite offensive linemen for a long time, and the Philadelphia Eagles superstar right tackle is a player every quarterback wants to have in their offensive line.

Johnson's blocking attributes are astonishing, and getting past him will be an incredibly hard task, even for the best defensive linemen in Madden 25. He is also excellent at blocking for his running back, which will definitely help your running game.

Tyron Smith (95 OVR)

Closing out the top five, we have Tyron Smith from the New York Jets.

Smith is yet another veteran offensive linemen to make this list, and it's easy to understand why, as he had an amazing 2023 season, having an incredible 79% run block rating.

Because of that, Smith run blocking attributes in Madden 25 are great, making him the perfect offensive linemen to get in Franchise mode, if your offensive line is struggling.

Tristan Wirfs (94 OVR)

In sixth place, we have Tristan Wirfs, who is also a 94 OVR. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle had a fantastic 2023 season, making his third straight Pro Bowl.

Wirfs has great blocking attributes, but what really stands out is his speed, which for an offensive linemen, is quite impressive. He is also incredibly strong and possesses great awareness.

Chris Lindstorm (94 OVR)

The Atlanta Falcons right guard, Chris Lindstrom, occupies the seventh place in this list.

Lindstrom is astonishingly fast for an offensive linemen, with 77 speed, and 81 acceleration, and also poses great blocking attributes such as 98 run block finesse, 98 lead block, 96 run block, and 90 impact block.

Laremy Tunsil (94 OVR)

Coming in at eighth place, we have the Houston Texans superstar left tackle, Laremy Tunsil. Tunsil excels in pass blocking, but he also possesses some very solid attributes when it comes to running block.

He had a great 2023 season, which earned him his fourth Pro Bowl appearance, and of course, also played a huge role in his 94 OVR in Madden 25.

Frank Ragnow (93 OVR)

The Detroit Lions had a spectacular 2023 season, and center Frank Ragnow played a huge role in it, so much so, that he made his third Pro Bowl.

Ragnow is fast, strong, and incredibly tough. His blocking attributes are good, especially his run block and run block finesse. So if you want an offensive linemen who can hold the defensive line, and create some space for your running back, Ragnow is your guy.

Creed Humphrey (92 OVR)

Closing this list we have two-time Super Bowl champion Creed Humphrey, center of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Humphrey had a fantastic 2023 season, helping the Chiefs go back-to-back, and cementing himself as one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL. He was also selected for his second Pro Bowl.

So a place in the top ten list is well deserved.

Madden 25 Franchise Depp Dive Reveals Exciting Features

Madden 25 Franchise Depp Dive Reveals Exciting Features - Main Image

The Madden 25 Franchise deep dive is finally here, and it revealed some exciting features coming to the mode, which, hopefully, will be able to revitalize it.

Franchise mode aims to provide players with the most immersive and authentic football experience. That's why features such as dynamic storylines, and the centralized HUB were introduced, and improvements were made to the draft night experience.

Let's take a look at everything new coming to Franchise mode.

A Ray of Hope for Franchise Mode

Franchise mode is receiving some huge changes in Madden 25, and they might actually be enough to revitalize the mode.

These new features will make the mode feel more dynamic, authentic, and immersive, and perhaps make the Franchise mode the best it has been in years.

A Revamped Draft Night Experience

The draft night experience was completely revamped, and it now simulates an authentic draft environment. This makes players feel like they really are at the NFL draft, adding an extra layer of immersion to the Franchise mode.

A new prospect board that updates in real-time was introduced, making it easier to see players' projections or filter players who are still available by a specific attribute.

Players will receive more in-depth analyses during the draft, and a draft guide that will let users know how they performed in the draft was also added.

Dynamic Storylines & Personality Management

Being the coach of an NFL Franchise is much more than assembling a good team and leading them to victory. There are numerous challenges that coaches face daily to keep players happy and maintain harmony in the locker room.

The new dynamic storylines expand on that in Madden 25, with users needing to navigate situations such as trade rumors, deciding off-season workouts, and choosing a team identity.

Users now also have to consider the players' needs, wants, and actions, and make promises to players, which can have a positive or negative impact, depending on whether they are fulfilled or not.

Each one of these actions will craft new storylines, that can last for seasons, and make the mode more immersive and captivating. Players can actually write their NFL story in a new and unique way, which wasn't possible in previous years.

Team Builder is Finally Here!

The biggest announcement of the Madden 25 Franchise deep dive was the introduction of the highly anticipated Team Builder feature.

Now, players can build their NFL franchise from scratch, creating custom logos, stadiums, kits, playbooks, and even franchise players. So yes, you can create an NFL team comprised of friends and yourself.

This custom team can even be shared with other people, or you can download other players' creations, in the creation center. To add your team to the Franchise mode you only need to import it when creating a new save.

More Immersion

Franchise also received other updates, with new records being added to the mode, the ability to create a female coach introduced to the game, improved free agency logic, new storyline environments, and a plethora of new celebrations.

The Super Bowl experience was also revamped, with a brand-new presentation, that makes it feel more authentic. This new Super Bowl experience includes Randy Moss and the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

The Franchise Central hub was also introduced, it simplifies league creation and makes navigation more intuitive.

A new personal message system was also added, introducing a new layer of immersion, and the progression system was revamped, to make it easier, and more realistic, to evolve your players.

These are all the new features coming to the Franchise mode in Madden 25, and how they will impact it.

Although many fans will still think this isn't enough, and more improvements can certainly be made, this is a step in the right direction.

What do you think of these changes, and are they enough to revitalize the Franchise mode? Let us know in the comments below.

Best Defensive Linemen in Madden 25 Revealed

Best Defensive Linemen in Madden 25 Revealed - Main Image

The Madden 25 rating week continues, and after revealing the best wide receivers, safeties, and running backs, EA Sports decided it was time to reveal the best Defensive Linemen in the game.

These players are a force of nature, and getting past them is incredibly difficult, and sometimes may even feel impossible. They can make your quarterback work significantly harder.

So let's find out who are the top ten defensive linemen in Madden 25.

Chris Jones (97 OVR)

Chris Jones sits on the defensive linemen throne in Madden 25, having some astonishing attributes, such as 99 awareness, 97 strength, 93 toughness, 98 power moves, 97 pursuit, and 95 play recognition.

Getting past Jones will seem like an almost impossible task, and even the best offensive linemen will struggle to stop him, or at least slow him down.

Dexter Lawrence II (95 OVR)

With a 95 OVR, Dexter Lawrence II is the second-best defensive linemen in Madden 25. The NY Giants defensive tackler is incredibly strong, a master in the art of tackling, and is also quite fast, for a defensive linemen that is.

Lawrence II's defensive attributes are great and similar to Jones's, he is a force of nature, which only a few players will be able to contain.

Quinnen Williams (94 OVR)

Quinnen Williams closes out the podium, with the New York Jets defensive monster being a 94 OVR, and having some great defensive attributes.

Since entering the league Williams has improved season after season, showing he is an elite defensive linemen, and that he has the skills to be among the best of the best for a long time.

Justin Madubuike (92 OVR)

Justin Madubuike is the first left defensive end to make this list, and his great speed is what makes him stand out, having 81 speed and 83 acceleration.

But Madubuike also possesses other splendid attributes, such as 97 awareness, 95 strength, 96 tackle, and 96 play recognition. He will be a great addition to every team in Franchise mode.

Derrick Brown (90 OVR)

Closing out the top five we have the Carolina Panther's right defensive end, Derrick Brown, with a 90 OVR, and an impressive 98 strength.

Brown is not the most agile player in Madden 25, but his blocking ability is spectacular, his defensive attributes are great, and his speed and acceleration are also solid.

Cameron Heyward (90 OVR)

In sixth place, we have Cameron Heyward, with a 90 OVR. Heyward attribute that stands out the most is his 98 play recognition, which will help him to pick on the play incredibly fast, and use that to his advantage.

Heyward defensive attributes are great, with most of them being rated over 90.

Vita Vea (90 OVR)

Just like Derrick Brown, Vita Vea also possesses superhuman strength, but his stamina rate is quite low, and his defensive attributes also can't match the Carolina Panther's right defensive end.

Despite that, Vea is still a great defensive linemen, with 97 toughness, 94 tackle, 92 play recognition, and 90 Awareness. These attributes make him a nightmare for opposing offensive linemen, and quarterback.

Jonathan Allen (89 OVR)

Coming in at number eight we have Jonathan Allen, from the Washington Commanders, with a 89 OVR.

Allen has some impressive attributes, such as 95 tackle, 93 strength, 90 awareness, and 89 impact blocking. His speed and acceleration are also solid, but his stamina and toughness are subpar to the rest of the players in this list.

Christian Wilkins (88 OVR)

Raiders defensive tackle Christian Wilkins occupies the ninth place, having solid attributes across the board. He might not stand out in a particular area of the game, but he does everything well.

In Madden 25, Wilkins is a well-rounded defensive linemen.

Cameron Jordan (87)

Closing out the list we have the veteran defensive linemen, Cameron Jordan, from the New Orleans Saints. Similar to Wilkins, Jordan is also a well-rounded player and can be a great addition to any team in Franchise mode.

What do you think of the Madden 25 defensive linemen rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Best Running Backs in Madden 25 Revealed

Best Running Backs in Madden 25 Revealed - Main Image

After revealing the best wide receivers and safeties in Madden 25, EA Sports has now announced the top ten running backs in the game.

Running backs are no longer just players that run with the ball, as in today's NFL running backs also need to be able to catch passes, and block, be it for their quarterback or a fellow running back.

Without further ado, let's take a look at the ten best running backs in Madden 25.

Christian McCaffrey (99 OVR)

There is no doubt that Christian McCaffrey is currently the best running back in the NFL, and that's why the 49ers superstar earned the so coveted 99 OVR in Madden 25 and is once again part of the Madden 99 Club.

He excels at everything you want a running back to do, be it carrying the ball, breaking a tackle, catching a pass, or speeding past his opponents. In Madden 25, McCaffrey is the running back to have.

Nick Chubb (96 OVR)

In second place we have the Cleveland Browns star, Nick Chub, who unfortunately had an injury-rilled season in 2023, only playing in two games.

Despite that, what Chub showed in the past two seasons is more than enough to guarantee him a spot in the second place. Madden considers the last three seasons when making the ratings, and not only the last one.

McCaffrey is still in a league of his own, but Chub is still an elite running back.

Derrick Henry (94 OVR)

Closing out the top three we have the Baltimore Raven's new star, Derrick Henry, who has been one of the best running backs in the league for quite some time.

In the 2023 season, Henry, as usual, had some great numbers, with 280 carries, 1167 yards, and 12 touchdowns. The numbers speak for themselves, and say a third place for Henry in this list was the minimum Madden could have done.

Saquon Barkley (92 OVR)

With a 92 OVR and some great attributes, Saquon Barkley is the fourth-best running back in Madden 25. Barkley had a good 2023 season, with 247 carries, 962 yards, and six touchdowns.

Barkley soap opera with the New York Giants also came to an end, with the star running back now being part of the Philadelphia Eagles, making the Eagles running game even scarier.

Joe Mixon (91 OVR)

Closing out the top five we have Joe Mixon, with a 91 OVR. Mixon had a great 2023 season, despite all the problems the Bengals faced, recording 257 carries, 1034 yards, and nine touchdowns.

Mixon was traded to the Houston Texans, adding even more firepower to a team that already had some impressive offensive pieces. A top-five place for Mixon in this list feels appropriate, but we wouldn't be surprised to see him higher on the list next year.

Travis Etienne (90 OVR)

In sixth place, we have the Jacksonville Jaguar's superstar player, Travis Etienne, who in his second year in the league proved we will be one of the best running backs in the NFL for a long time.

Etienne had 267 carries, 1008 yards, and 11 touchdowns, in the 2023 season, impressive numbers, especially for a player in his second year in the NFL.

Because of that, a 90 OVR feels appropriate, since he is coming off a great season, and has already put up great numbers in his rookie year.

Josh Jacobs (89 OVR)

Josh Jacobs is coming off a solid season, with 233 carriers, 805 yards, and six touchdowns, in only 13 games. Jacob's ball-carrying attributes in Madden 25 are quite good, despite his change of direction and spin move not being great.

His strength and jumping abilities also aren't that impressive, but he is good at finding the gaps in the defensive line and running through them, conquering some valuable yards, which is what you really want from a running back.

Kenneth Walker III (88 OVR)

Kenneth Walker III is in eighth place on the list and will be an 88 OVR in Madden 25. Walker III had a good 2023 season, with numbers very similar to the ones he had put up in his rookie year.

An eighth place for Walker III seems appropriate, but if the Seattle Seahawks
running back can record similar numbers in the 2024 season, he will most likely climb some places in this list next year.

Aaron Jones (88 OVR)

Aaron Jones's last season with the Green Bay Packers wasn't spectacular, but the veteran running back only played 11 games, a career low.

Jones's rating will certainly cause some debate in the Madden community

Isiah Pacheco (87 OVR)

Closing out the top ten, and this list, we have Isiah Pacheco, from the Kansas City Chiefs, with a 87 OVR. Pacheco helped the Chiefs win their second Super Bowl in a row and recorded some solid numbers in the process.

So a tenth place for Pacheco seems appropriate, but there will certainly be many who think the Chiefs running back could be higher on the list.

What do you think of the Madden 25 running backs rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Best Safeties in Madden 25 Revealed

Best Safeties in Madden 25 Revealed - Main Image

The Madden 25 ratings reveal week is off to a strong start, as after showing the best wide receivers in the game, EA Sports has now announced the best safeties in Madden 25.

These players have some astonishing attributes, which allow them to stop even the best wide receivers in the game. Every player on this list would be a valuable addition to your Franchise squad.

Wihtoru further ado, let's take a look at the tenbest sfaeties in Madden 25.

Jessie Bates III (97 OVR)

Jessie Bates III sits on the throne, as with a 97 OVR he is by far the best safety of Madden 25. Bates had a career year in 2023, with 132 tackles, six interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

After such an impressive year, seeing the Falcons star sit comfortably in first place is no surprise.

Bates is the nightmare of every wide receiver in Madden 25, as he possesses 90 speed, an impressive 99 awareness, 98 play recognition, and 96 zone coverage.

In general, Bates's defensive abilities are incredible, and he can lock down every wide receiver in the game.

Antoine Winfield Jr (94 OVR)

Similar to Bates, Antoine Winfield Jr 2023 season was also a masterpiece, as the Buccaneers safety recorded an impressive 122 tackles, 6 sacks, three interceptions, six forced fumbles, and four fumbles recovered.

So it's hard to argue that Winfield Jr doesn't deserve the second place in this list. Winfield Jr defensive stats are spectacular in Madden 25, especially his 97 play recognition, 92 pursuit, 90 zone coverage, and 86 hit power.

He is incredibly fast, with 91 speed and 92 acceleration, has 94 stamina, and an impressive 95 awareness. Winfield Jr is a problem for every team's offense.

Minkah Fitzpatrick (93 OVR)

The 2023 season is one Minkah Fitzpatrick wants to forget as fast as possible, as the Steelers safety only played ten games due to injuries. Fitzpatrick only had 64 tackles, but he is still an elite safety when healthy.

In Madden 25, Fitzpatrick's defense attributes are great, with 91 play recognition, 95 zone coverage, 85 pursuit, and 85 hit power. He is incredibly fast, with 91 speed and 92 acceleration.

Derwin James Jr (91 OVR)

With a 91 OVR, Derwin James Jr is the fourth-best safety in Madden 25. In the 2023 season, Derwin James Jr put up some great numbers, with a career-high 125 tackles, two sacks, and one interception.

His Madden 25 attributes reflect just that, has James Jr has an impressive 92 hit power, 91 play recognition, 88 pursuit, 95 stamina, and 92 awareness. James Jr 90 speed and 92 acceleration allow him to keep up with the fastest wide receivers in the game, making him an even bigger problem on defense.

Tyrann Mathieu (91 OVR)

Tyrann Mathieu is the fifth-best safety in Madden 25, with a 91 OVR. The Saints safety had a good 2023 season, with 75 total tackles and four interceptions.

Mathieu might not be as fast or have the incredible defensive attributes as the four players mentioned before, but he still has some good defensive attributes.

With 94 play recognition, 88 man coverage, 86 zone coverage, 87 pursuit, and a spectacular 96 awareness, Mathieu is a player you can count on to lock down the opponent's biggest offensive threats.

Budda Baker (90 OVR)

Budda Baker had a solid 2023 season, having 87 tackles, and cementing himself as one of the best safeties in the NFL.

Baker is incredibly fast, and agile, has impressive stamina, and has great awareness, which allows him to react very fast to the ball when it's in the air. His defense attributes are also solid.

Kevin Byard (89 OVR)

Coming in at seventh place, we have the Chicago Bears safety, Kevin Byard. Similar to Baker, Byard possesses some solid attributes across the board, with his 97 injury, 94 stamina, 88 zone coverage, and 87 play recognition, standing out.

Byard is not as fast as Bates or Winfield Jr, but his 89 speed and 88 acceleration should still be enough to keep up with most of the wide receivers in the game.

Kyle Hamilton (89 OVR)

In his second year in the NFL, Kyle Hamilton showed he is on his way to becoming an elite safety, having 81 tackles, three sacks, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles.

Hamilton's best attributes in Madden 25 are his 91 acceleration, 91 stamina, 90 jumping, 90 pursuit, and 88 hit power. The rest of his defensive abilities are also very solid, making him a solid safety.

Talanoa Hufanga (88 OVR)

Talanoa Hufanga's 2023 season wasn't a great one, as the 49ers' safety missed most a good part of the season due to injury. Despite that, there is no denying that Hufanga is a great safety, being strong against the run and the passing game.

Hufanga's 94 stamina, 91 pursuit, and 90 play recognition are his best attributes. However, his man coverage attribute is quite low, especially compared to the other players on this list.

Jevon Holland (88 OVR)

Closing out the top ten, we have Jevon Holland, the Miami Dolphins safety. Holland had a good 2023 season, with 74 tackles, 1 interception, and three forced fumbles.

In Madden 25, Holland is incredibly fast, with 91 speed and 93 acceleration. Furthermore, he has 93 stamina and 93 zone coverage.

What do you think of the Madden 25 safety rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Best Wide Receivers in Madden 25

Best Wide Receivers in Madden 25 - Main Image

Madden 25 ratings reveal week has started, and there was no better way to start than to reveal the best wide receivers in the game.

Wide receivers are the biggest offensive threats in the game, with the best of the best being incredibly fast, creating separation from defenders with ease, and making some spectacular catches.

So let's find out who are the ten best wide receivers in Madden 25.

Best Wide Receivers in Madden 25

As mentioned above, these players are the best offensive weapons you can have in Madden 25 and are a nightmare to guard for defenders.

Some are incredibly fast, others are great a running short or medium routes, most are good at creating separation from defenders, and the best of the best can do all of it at an elite level.

Tyreek Hill (99 OVR)

Tyreek Hill has finally been inducted into the Madden 99 Club, with the cheetah becoming the first player in Miami Dolphins history to do so. Hill had a great 2023 season, with 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Hill has been considered one of the best NFL wide receivers for a long time, and a 99 OVR seems appropriate.

Justin Jefferson (98 OVR)

Justin Jefferson is no longer part of the Madden 99 Club, and the Viking star also lost the wide receiver throne and is now the second-best wide receiver in the game.

Despite missing seven games of the 2023 season because of a hamstring injury, the Vikings' superstar wide receiver still managed to have 1074 yards, becoming only the third wide receiver to do so in 10 games. He also had 5 touchdowns.

Jefferson is regarded by many as the best wide receiver in the NFL, and the record-breaking four-year $140 million contract extension he signed this off-season with the Vikings proves just that.

CeeDee Lamb (98 OVR)

CeeDee Lamb's 2023 season was nothing short of impressive, as the Dallas Coybows wide receiver had an incredible 1749 yards, and scored seven touchdowns. Furthermore, he also made his third Pro Bowl.

Despite the Cowboy's season ending in disappointment, Lamb proved he is among the best wide receivers in the game, and a player the Cowboy's can build around.

A.J Brown (95 OVR)

A big part of why the Eagles reached the Super Bowl was A.J. Brown's stellar performance throughout the season. Brown had an impressive 1456 yards, seven touchdowns, and 106 receptions.

Brown went from a 91 OVR in Madden 24, and not even making the top ten list, to being the fourth-best wide receiver in Madden 25. If he manages to keep up this level in the 2024 season, then we might see him break into the top three.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (95 OVR)

Amon-Ra St. Brown played a huge part in the Detroit Lions Cinderella story, helping the Lions win their first playoff game in 32 years!

Brown had 1515 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 119 receptions, being in the top five in these three categories. He was Jared Goff's favorite target and for a very good reason.

In Madden 25, Brown has a spectacular 90 speed, 91 agility, 91 jump, and 93 stamina.

Davante Adams (94 OVR)

Davante Adams has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL for a long time, so it's no surprise to see the Raiders star on this list.

The Raiders season was everything but calm, but amid the storm, Adams was still able to perform, having 1144 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 103 receptions. Adams is still an elite wide receiver, so a sixth place on this list seems appropriate.

Ja'Marr Chase (93 OVR)

Just like the Raiders, the Bengals also had a tough season, with star quarterback Joe Burrow being injured for most of the season.

Despite that, Ja'Marr Chase was still able to put up some good numbers, with 1216 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 100 receptions. That earned him the seventh position in this list.

Chase has some great attributes in Madden 25, with a spectacular 98 jump, and 94 speed.

Stefon Diggs (92 OVR)

Stefon Diggs had a huge drop in the wide receiver rankings, as the Houston Texans player, went from a 96 OVR and fourth place in Madden 24 to a 92 OVR and eighth place in Madden 25.

Diggs didn't have the best 2023 season, but his numbers also weren't awful, as he had 1183 yards, eighth touchdowns, and 107 receptions. His 95 stamina, 92 agility, and 92 speed, still make him a huge threat in Madden 25.

Brandon Aiyuk (91 OVR)

Brandon Aiyuk's 2023 season numbers aren't that impressive, especially compared to the other players in this list, which left many fans wondering if the 49ers wide receiver even deserved to be in the top 10.

However, we have to acknowledge that despite being targeted way fewer times than his peers, only having 75 receptions, Aiyuk still had an impressive 1342 yards, and 7 touchdowns.

He made his impact felt while being targeted way fewer times, and when the 49ers needed him he answered the call. So a 91 OVR in Madden 25 seems fair.

Mike Evans (91 OVR)

Last but certainly not least, we have Mike Evans, who closes out the top ten. Evans's numbers in the 2023 season are phenomenal, as despite only having 79 receptions, he had 1255 yards, and a league-leading 13 touchdowns.

There is a case to be made that Evans's rating should be higher, but Madden always takes into consideration the stats of the last three years to make these rankings, and that´s most likely why we don't see Evans higher in the list.

What do you think of the Madden 25 wide receiver rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

Madden 25 Game Modes - Everything You Need to Know!

Madden 25 Game Modes - Everything You Need to Know! - Main Image

The release of Madden 25 is inching closer and closer, with more information about the game being made available almost daily.

EA Sports has already revealed the cover athlete, new gameplay features, and all the game editions, and the ratings will be revealed soon. However, many players want to know which are the game modes of Madden 25.

So let's find out!

Madden 25 Game Modes

Madden 25 will have four game modes, which are Ultimate Team, Franchise, Superstar, and Quick Play.

All of these game modes deliver a unique gaming experience, and some have sub-modes inside, with Ultimate Team being the best example of that.

While the gameplay experience might not vary drastically from mode to mode, the features inside each mode normally do, which leads to modes attracting very different parts of the player base.

For example, the majority of players who play Franchise don't usually spend a lot of time in Ultimate Team, and vice versa. However, the Superstar mode is capable of attracting players from both modes, even if it isn't as popular.

Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team is the most popular game mode in the history of the Madden franchise.

It's an online mode that allows players to assemble their dream team, using current NFL superstars and also legends of the game, to battle other players, and prove they are among the best of the best Madden players.

We expect sub-modes such as Challenges, Solo Battles, Head 2 Head, House Rules, Mut Draft, Play a Friend, and Practice, to be in Ultimate Team in Madden 25. EA Sports may include a new sub-mode to Ultimate Team, but there is still no information about it.

All of these sub-modes allow players to earn coins, packs, and other rewards they can use to then upgrade their squad. As mentioned above, the goal is to create the best squad possible.

Franchise

Despite the neglect that the Franchise mode has suffered in the past few years, the mode is still extremely popular and has a loyal fan base.

As the name indicates, this mode allows players to take control of an NFL franchise of their choice, with the main goal being winning the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Players have full control of everything that is going on inside the franchise, such as scouting, hiring and firing the coaching staff, making trades, and more. It allows players to experience what it's like to be an NFL general manager.

It's worth noting that, this year Franchise mode is introducing some great new features, and revamping existing ones. This will hopefully make the mode feel more immersive, and also deliver a better gaming experience to the players.

Superstar

The Superstar mode allows players to live the life of an NFL player, experiencing the highs and lows, wins and losses, while trying to leave their mark on the league and enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Players can customize their character in a plethora of different ways, and as they play games and reach milestones, they will earn points to improve their character.

This mode tries the deliver the most realistic and immersive experience possible, to make players feel like real NFL athletes. We hope EA Sports introduces some new features to the mode, that will help accomplish just that.

Quick Play

Last but not least, we have the Quick Play mode, which has four sub-modes, Play Now, Online Head-to-Head, Pro Bowl, and Superstar KO.

Play now allows users to play a custom game against the CPU or their friends, and is the perfect mode if you just want to play a quick game.

In Online Head-to-Head, players will face off against other users, and try to win as many games as possible to climb the leaderboards. Each user will pick one of the 32 NFL teams, and they will play with the default rosters.

The more games a player wins in competitive seasons, the higher their rank in the head-to-head divisions leaderboard will be. It's a great mode if you want to play some competitive Madden, but don't want to spend time, or money, building a competitive squad in Ultimate Team.

The Pro Bowl mode lets players play the traditional Pro Bowl match, either alone or with a friend, in a couch co-op experience. As for the Superstar mode, players will draft a team of superstars, and play against each other until only one is left standing.

These are all the game modes and sub-modes, we expect to see in Madden 25. We will update this article as more information is made available, so make sure to bookmark this article.

What do you think of the Madden 25 linebackers rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

What do you think of the Madden 25 offensive linemen rankings, and which players or places would you change? Let us know in the comments below.

EA Sports College Football 25 Review – Stumbling to the End Zone

EA Sports College Football 25 on Xbox Series X

It’s been over a decade since Electronic Arts last entered the college football arena, and EA Sports College Football 25 is their widely-promoted return to campus. The pageantry and speed of gameplay make for a stellar experience. Unfortunately, hangovers from EA’s other sports titles keep the title from achieving greatness.

EA’s former college football franchise, NCAA Football, quickly became a sporting staple. They were then unceremoniously forced to cease production of the series in 2013. Due to an inability to compensate college athletes for their likeness, the series was shelved – that is, until now.
