This week, ArenaNet teased something was coming. Its messaging, which spanned all of its Guild Wars-related social channels, indicated that it would be 'world shifting.' Well, it's now been revealed at Summer Game Fest that, after much enthusiastic speculation online, Guild Wars 3 is officially coming.
The Rust 'Built Different' update has just landed, bringing with it the most substantial upgrade to its player models in years. Sporting fresh animations to boot, characters are far more realistic, though I always found their kinetic jank to be part of the Rust experience. Alongside the revamp, Facepunch has brought a new top-tier armor set and a classic assault rifle to the fore.
Valve has finally released its Steam Store home page refresh, and it's all looking very shiny. There's been a big focus on visual consistency, and the new, larger tiles seem to be a perfect fit for some Steam controller scrolling (Valve, I'm still waiting for my turn, please help a fella out). However, in all of the redecorating, one major algorithmic change could make it harder to find your next indie game binge.
Valorant Patch 12.10 has been anything but a smooth ride. Between the return of Cypher's Spycam gun bug and fake Breeze boxes, it's been a while since I've seen this many major bugs in Riot Games' shooter. However, the update's biggest issue may be more sinister in scope, as players are running into unscrupulous opponents who, judging from the footage shared, appear to be utilizing some form of networking exploit to gain an advantage.
The Epic Games Store is back once again to offer up some of the finest freebies around. This week, we have a turn-based turnout, with swashbuckling tactical roguelite Rogue Waters and classic fantasy-style RPG Songs of Conquest currently available to download and play. If you're all about planning several moves ahead, then this is a duo you'll want to add to your library.
When Top Gun Maverick took off in 2022, the hit sequel doubled-down on pulse-spiking aerial manoeuvres and aviator sunglasses, entreating a new generation to the joys of buzzing around in an F/A-18 Super Hornet. As I sat in the cockpit of that very same aircraft, watching a squaddie barrel roll over me in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve's opening sequence, I felt a mid-preview urge to pack in journalism and go to flight school.
Brandon 'PlayerUnknown' Greene has announced that his studio, PlayerUnknown Productions, will downsize due to hitting a fiscal wall. While the studio's ridiculously ambitious Melba engine will continue its development with a smaller crew, the team behind its survival game. Prologue: Go Wayback, hasn't been as fortunate.
Valorant developer Riot Games has temporarily locked off Breeze, after a major map bug was posted online. Fortunately, it doesn't look like it'll be out of commission for long, and usual service should resume next patch. This isn't the first issue found in the FPS game's latest 12.10 patch that has necessitated a temporary removal, after the return of Cypher's hilariously-broken Spycam bug saw the agent get sent to the icebox (pun intended) last week.
When Old School Runescape first came to mobile, I was astonished by how capable it was, even back then. Switching clicking for tapping felt incredibly intuitive; a match made in tech heaven that would open up Jagex's hit MMO to a whole new market. Runescape Dragonwilds, currently in Steam Early Access, is set to follow a similar suit, as its full 1.0 launch will also arrive on PlayStation 5, marking the first RS-related IP to make it to console. This is, as Jagex describes it, a "landmark moment" for the franchise, but the studio still has plenty of work to do.
A fresh social post shared by the official accounts for both Guild Wars games has caused quite the stir, as it looks like developer ArenaNet is gearing up for a very special announcement at Summer Game Fest. I'm not going to say Guild Wars 3's on the way, but the signs are certainly looking promising.
'When will I get to start my next Crimson Desert run?' I often think to myself. I mean, I could jump back into Pywel now, re-fight a few bosses, grab a pet bird or two. However, I feel that there's always that next big update around the corner that I could have an even better time with. Well, if there's any time to bite the bullet and stop procrastinating, it'll be when the newly-announced DLC arrives. Details on that are thin right now, but, from now until September, Pearl Abyss has plenty in the chamber.
That Jimbo sure is getting about, isn't he? Last year, Balatro's starring fool took a dagger to Dying Light 2, and faced off against the legions of the night in Vampire Survivors. I'm starting to think he's better-traveled than Ben Starr at this point. Well, in Balatro's latest crossover with Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts, Jimbo is trading carnage for canvas, and he can now star in his own medieval margin doodles.
Kohei Ikeda, Tekken 8's Game Director, has announced he has left Bandai Namco after over two decades with the developer-publisher. In a statement shared to social media, Ikeda reminisces fondly, offering his thanks to fans and his fellow Tekken developers.

What are the best Arknights Endfield teams? However, Hypergryph has done a great job of making four and five-star units in the free PC game hold their own against even the rarest and most powerful characters Arknights Endfield has to offer. As such, there's decent compositional variety in the current meta, and below we detail the top teams you should be running, from free-to-play's finest to premium powerhouses.

We're pacifists here at PCGamesN; at least, outside of videogames. Whether we're combo'ing some poor soul in the latest fighter, or lighting up lobbies like a Christmas tree in our favorite shooters, we love a good scrap. Roblox's Slap game distills this into its purest form - two people sitting opposite each other, direct eye contact, throwing hands until one reigns victorious. If you want to be the winner, though, you'll need to lock in Slap codes to gain an upper hand thanks to the free spins they provide. Slap utilizes different styles, each providing a unique gameplay twist on simply swinging your arm about like you're at a rave. These require rolls to obtain. You can also use lucky rolls to up your chances of hitting rarer styles, which is where our codes list comes in. Before we get into that, though, make sure you've joined the game's group first, as you won't be able to redeem your rewards without doing so.

So make sure you keep this guide bookmarked, ready to sweep up the next batch of goodies as they become available to you. Dispatch can get more than a little hectic at times while you're giving the Z-Team their marching orders. Obviously, sending the multiplicative Golem out is always the correct call; he's ostensibly everyone's ride or die, after all. But there are times, especially in Dispatch's closing act, when not even Yung Gravy can carry you through. During the final shift, everything went to pot. I was pulling the remnants of my hair out as yet another 80%+ success rate call ended as a total bust. I asked AdHoc magicians Dennis Lenart and Polly Raguimov if there was some sort of trickery involved, and their response brings vindication. Spoilers ahoy.
If you know your zanpakuhead from your zanpakutous, you'll know that Ichigo has had some serious help over the years. From Karakura Town, to Soul Society, to Hueco Mundo, the power of friendship (and a few nifty Zangetsu upgrades) has been paramount to his ability to navigate every challenge he's faced. In the latest game in the series, you'll need Bleach Soul Resonance codes to help perfect your team. The same concept applies to Bleach Soul Resonance, though with a gacha game twist. To accrue the power to save your friends (and Bleach's worlds), you'll need to pull on character banners, upgrade your abilities, and build a fearsome team capable of taking on anything that gets in your way. Fortunately, there are Bleach Soul Resonance codes out there that provide a healthy injection of Spiritual Jade and other crucial materials.
