If you’ve made the switch from PlayStation to PC, you know there is a learning curve between the controller and the mouse and keyboard. If you are looking to stay on controller while still getting all the benefits of playing on PC, this one is for you.
Wondering how to actually connect the PS5 controller to PC? This guide has everything you need to know.
Plugging in the Controller
The fastest way to connect your PS5 controller to your PC is by grabbing a USB-C to USB-A cable. This is the cable that comes with your controller when you buy it. However, these cables can be quite short, so I recommend buying one that is slightly longer for more comfort.
Now, with the cable, you will:
Plug the USB-C end into the controller (this is at the top of the controller).
Plug the USB-A end into the PC.
There shouldn’t be any recognition issues between the PC and Windows. There’s no extra setup necessary. Just load your favorite game and get to playing.
Wireless Setup
If you don’t have a cable or don’t want to be stuck connected to the computer, you do have the option of Bluetooth connectivity if your PC supports it. If it doesn’t, you can always buy a Bluetooth adapter and solve that issue.
To connect your controller via Bluetooth:
Open your PC’s settings
Scroll to Bluetooth & Devices
Choose the option of Add Device
Select Bluetooth
You should now get your controller and hold down the PlayStation button and the Share button simultaneously. It should only take moments, and the touchpad will start flashing. This indicates that the controller is ready for pairing.
Your PC will now be able to recognize the new Bluetooth device, which is the Wireless Controller. Click it and wait for it to connect. Once it does, you are all set.
That’s It?
Yep. That’s all there is to connecting your PS5 controller to your PC. Either way you prefer, neither requires much effort or time. No matter which option you choose, you’re ready to play.
If you’re having a hard time trying to find out how to screenshot on Windows, you aren’t alone. If you aren’t familiar with a keyboard, then it can be tricky trying to navigate the space. This guide will show you every method available to you for screenshotting on your PC. Follow along for detailed instructions and visuals.
Print Screen
There is a button on your keyboard that is usually labeled “Prt Sc”. This is the print screen button. This allows you to take a screenshot of your window.
This screenshot gets copied to your clipboard. Meaning, you can now open applications like Word or Notepad and paste the image there.
Windows + Print Screen
If you press the Windows button on the keyboard and the Print Screen button at the same time, it will automatically save the image to your files.
To find the image, go to your pictures and look for the folder labeled “Screenshots.” You will see the picture you just took within the folder.
Alt + Print Screen
If you have more than one screen, this option is for you. By pressing the Alt button and the Print Screen button at the same time, it will screenshot ONLY the active window. Meaning, whatever window or screen you have last clicked on will be what gets screenshotted.
This will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste it into whatever application you are using.
Snip & Sketch Tool (Windows 10)
To use this method, on your keyboard, press the Windows key at the same time you press your Shift key and the letter S. This will open the Snip and Sketch tool on your computer window.
You can now use the options provided by the tool to choose how you want to take your screenshot. This option allows you to clip and snip, rather than taking unnecessarily large screenshots. You can quickly use the tool to screenshot the exact information you want on your screen.
The screenshot gets copied to your clipboard, where you get the option to edit the clipped image. You can crop, draw, add, etc. to the screenshot. There will now be an option on that page to save the image to a folder. If you don’t edit the image, it will be on your clipboard, where you can paste the image into the desired application.
Snipping Tool (Windows 11)
Windows 11 gave an upgrade to the Snip and Sketch tool. However, they still function the same. It’s just the interface that looks a bit different.
To get to the Snipping tool, you can either type it into the computer’s search bar or use the same method of pressing Windows, Shift, and S simultaneously.
The tool does add some new features, like pre-set snipping tools and delayed capture. Once getting your screenshot, it can be saved and edited in the same way as Windows 10.
Game Bar
To open the Game Bar, on your keyboard, press your Windows key and the letter G at the same time.
You will see several different things pop up around your screen. But, in the top left, you will see a camera icon. Click this or press the Windows, Alt, and Print Screen keys at the same time, while the interface is up, to take a screenshot.
To see the saved images, click below the area where the camera icon is, where it says “See my captures.” This will open up the image. Or, you can go to your Folder and open up the Videos folder. It’s in here that you will find the screenshot.
Wrapping up
And that’s all there is to taking a screenshot on your PC. Whether you want to go the old-fashioned way of just hitting the Print Screen key or you want to open the Snipping tool and edit the photo quickly, these are all sure bets to obtain that image you want.
If you’ve ever tried to connect AirPods directly to a PlayStation 5, you probably noticed that the option isn’t supported. Meaning, you can’t pair your AirPods as easily as you would pair them with your phone. But there are still two reliable ways to use AirPods with your PS5, and both methods are quick. Follow this guide to learn more about each option available to you.
1st Option
The most direct method is to use a Bluetooth adapter that plugs directly into your console. Before buying one, make sure it supports Bluetooth 5.0, as older adapters are more often than not incompatible with AirPods. This is purchased separately from your PS5. But, still cheaper if you don’t want to drop a lot of money on a headset.
Plug the Bluetooth adapter into a USB port on your PS5. Make sure the AirPods are in pairing mode. After a few seconds, the lights will stop flashing on the AirPods, which means the connection is complete.
Your AirPods should start playing PS5 audio almost instantaneously. If they do not, check the adapter’s instructions. Each brand of adapter may have slightly different instructions.
2nd Option
If you have a Bluetooth-enabled smart TV, you can also route your PS5 audio through your TV directly to your AirPods. Keep in mind it doesn’t only need to be able to connect to Bluetooth devices, but also be able to connect to Bluetooth audio devices, as this can be an important distinction.
Open your TV’s settings and go to the Devices or Accessories menu, then put your AirPods into pairing mode. From there, choose the option on your TV to scan for new devices and wait for your AirPods to appear. Select them and give the TV a few seconds to finish pairing.
If you do not hear audio right away, check your TV’s sound settings and switch the output to your AirPods if needed. The TV may have trouble automatically switching the audio to the AirPods, even if it recognizes the device. Once that is done, turn on your PS5, and your game audio should come through your AirPods automatically.
Whether you go the Bluetooth adapter route or use your smart TV’s Bluetooth system, getting AirPods working on PS5 is easier than most players expect. It’s all about knowing your options. Both methods get the job done, so there isn’t a wrong answer. Pick the option that fits your setup best, and you’ll be able to game without an expensive headset.
The Bloodfeather armor set was added in Enshrouded’s recent hotfix update and is one of the new stealth-focused sets now available in the game. There is no crafting involved; the Bloodfeather set is obtained through dungeon farming and relies completely on random drops from hidden tombs. If you’re planning to farm the full set, follow this guide to save some time and get some tips on where to go.
Where the Bloodfeather Set Drops
All Bloodfeather armor pieces drop from Hidden Tombs tied to the Glimmer of Eternity questline. There are four total tombs, although one has two entrances, which causes some players to believe there are five. These tombs respawn both enemies and loot on a timer, making them ideal for repeat farming.
You only need one good tomb to farm efficiently. There are five pieces: pants, gloves, a helmet, shoes, and a chest piece.
Best Tomb to Farm the Bloodfeather Set
The easiest and most efficient tomb for Bloodfeather farming is located:
Directly east of Lake Heartblood
Slightly northwest of Dragondream Lake
This tomb is shorter than the others and contains multiple high-value chest locations with relatively simple navigation.
Step-by-Step Tomb Route
Enter the ruins and dig down into the stairwell. Prepare for Hollow enemies immediately.
Now, cross the wooden beam and clear the enemies waiting for you.
At the first split, go right. The left path only leads to extra enemies with little reward.
You’ll reach a room with stairs going downward. Memorize this room, as you will return here later.
Continue right again, and you’ll find a pool of water with suspicious soil nearby.
Dive straight into the water. A chest at the bottom can drop a Bloodfeather piece.
Swim into the next chamber and climb the ladder or dig through.
At the next drop-down chamber, turn right twice to reach a room with a lore note tied to the tomb quest.
After collecting the note, return to the stair room you passed earlier.
This time, take the left path instead of the right.
Follow the tunnel into another water chamber with spinning saw blades.
Carefully swim past all three blades and head upward.
You’ll find several sarcophagi and a golden chest. These are prime drop locations for the Bloodfeather Helmet and other pieces.
This single tomb alone is enough to farm the entire set if you’re patient with the respawns.
Other Tomb Locations
Although the first tomb is the most farmable, Bloodfeather pieces can drop from other hidden tombs as well.
Tomb Near Gold Rock Saddle
Located just northeast of Gold Rock Saddle near the path under the cliff. This tomb is much larger and full of repeating corridors, making navigation difficult. The Bloodfeather chest piece is known to drop here. Many players report consistent drops from this tomb.
Northwest Tomb Near Still Water Bay
Found in the far northwest corner of the map near the lagoon and Stillwater Bay. This tomb has fewer chest rooms than the others, making it less efficient for farming but still capable of dropping Bloodfeather gear.
Two-Entrance Jungle Tomb
This tomb sits southeast of the northwest tomb near the Elixir Well and west of Starfish Shores. It has two entrances that connect into one massive dungeon, making it extremely easy to get lost. This location is not recommended for farming due to its size and layout.
Farming Tips
Place a nearby altar or flame to reset the tomb after clearing it. This is my #1 tip for farming this drop.
You should farm daily or every other day, depending on chest respawn timers.
Be sure to check underwater chests and sarcophagi, as most Bloodfeather drops come from these. Ensure you do this every run.
Just expect random drop rates. It may take multiple runs to complete the full set. Don’t get discouraged.
Final Notes
The Bloodfeather set is entirely RNG-based and tied to hidden tomb exploration. The easiest way to farm it is by repeatedly running the tomb east of Lake Heartblood and resetting it with a nearby altar. With consistent farming and a bit of luck, you can collect the full stealth-focused set without ever needing to touch the more difficult tombs.
Sailing’s launch brought a ton of new systems into Old School RuneScape, but if you want a method that lets you kick back while the levels roll in, shipwreck salvaging is the clear winner. You can start at level 15 and ride it all the way to 99 with nothing more than a decent hook, some boat upgrades, and a little patience. Both the early game and the late game lean into the same loop, which makes this one of the most beginner-friendly grinds in the entire skill.
Unlocking Salvaging Early
Once you hit level 15, you can build your first salvaging hook. Start with the small shipwrecks just east of Pandemonium.
Sail up to the ship sticking out of the water, operate your hook, then repeat the cycle. At this stage, drop all salvages since cleaning them is slower than moving on. The goal is quick interaction, not squeezing out tiny loot gains.
From level 15 to 42, you’ll sit on these small wrecks. Sail up, click the hook, fill your inventory, then run to a dock to sort items. It’s as simple as AFK skilling gets.
Upgrading Hooks and Shipwreck Tiers
As you level, you’ll unlock new salvaging hooks. Always build the highest tier you can, as higher tiers speed up the cycle and allow you to salvage tougher shipwrecks. Your path looks like this:
15: Small shipwrecks
26: Fisherman shipwrecks
35: Barracuda shipwrecks
73: Mercenary shipwrecks
87: Merchant shipwrecks
Each new tier bumps your XP rates a bit, though the real jump doesn’t hit until the 70s.
Level 30 Trials for a Strong Boost
At level 30, do the Tempest Tantrum Barracuda Trial. Try to reach at least Shark rank to unlock the barrel stand. This allows you to store Whirlpool Surprise on your boat, providing a reusable +3 Sailing boost. The boost lets you salvage slightly above your level and smooths out the climb.
After the trials, talk to Rum Dashed Ralph. He hands you your first Whirlpool Surprise, and you can buy an infinite supply once you unlock the keg.
Level 42: The Salvaging Station Breakthrough
Level 42 is the turning point of the grind. Dig between the two trees in Pandemonium to get a Small Key. Take the key to Chinchompa Island to unlock the lost schematics for the Salvaging Station. Build the station on your boat as soon as possible.
With this station, you never need to sail back to the dock again. You can sit in open water, salvage sort items, dump junk directly from your inventory, then salvage again. This single upgrade turns the grind from semi AFK into true AFK.
How Shipwreck Respawns Work
When you arrive at a shipwreck during your time Sailing AFK, you may find it already used. You’ll know because you will only have an option to examine the shipwreck.
Wrecks have a cooldown that resets one or two minutes after someone uses them. If a wreck is dead sail to the next one. Popular zones are packed with players, but the reset timer is fast enough that there is always something to salvage.
Recent hotfixes increased the cooldown slightly, which makes salvaging even more AFK since you get longer windows to sort drops before the next wreck resets.
Level 50 and Beyond: The Bigger Upgrades
Once you reach level 50, you can build a sloop, which supports two salvaging hooks.
Recruit Jobless Jim from Port Sarim to operate the second hook. Crew XP is reduced, but running two hooks is still more efficient than going solo.
At level 55, you unlock the Teleport Focus. This lets you cast Summon Boat, which is a huge convenience perk.
For example, large shipwrecks south of the Great Conch are easy to reach by teleporting to the Kunch and summoning your ship right on top of the spot.
Level 55 also unlocks your second crew slot. Recruit Captain Siad to steer the boat while you and Jim salvage nonstop. With this setup, you barely need to touch your keyboard, making this ideal for your Sailing AFK build.
The Endgame Salvaging Loop
From the mid-50s onward, the method never changes. Upgrade your boat when new parts unlock, find the closest cluster of shipwreck spawns, park yourself there, and run the loop:
Salvage → Sort → Drop junk → Redeploy the hook → Repeat
The XP rates climb slowly until you unlock mercenary shipwrecks at level 73, but the method stays fully AFK and steady all the way to 99.
Final Thoughts
Shipwreck salvaging is the perfect Sailing AFK route. It’s simple, consistent, and packed with quality-of-life upgrades that keep the loop smooth from the moment you unlock it. Whether you want a chill grind during work or a laid-back session in the evening, Salvaging delivers steady progress without pulling your attention away from real life.
Good luck with the grind, and sail safe out there.
This guide walks you through Pandemonium: the quest you need to finish before you can start training Sailing in Old School RuneScape. There are no requirements at all. Just head down to Port Sarim and talk to Will and Anne to kick things off.
The quest is mainly a quick introduction to the basics of Sailing. Once you speak to them, you can hold the spacebar to skip back and forth between the dialogue. After a short chat, they drop you onto a small training boat so you can learn the controls.
Learning How to Sail
When you’re on the boat, click Navigate Helm. The helm is where every boat is controlled. You can set sails, trim them to a stop, reverse, or pick up speed. Hit Set Sails and click on the water to choose the direction you want to move.
Your first job is simple. Head south until Will tells you to anchor near a sunken ship. Trim your sails to stop the boat, then click the salvaging hook to see what you can pull up.
You find something, but you barely get a chance to enjoy it before Anne sends you flying overboard. You wash up on Pandemonium with nothing but saltwater in your boots.
Meeting the Crew on Pandemonium
When you wash ashore, walk straight into the bar. Talk to Squawking Steve Beanie (the barkeeper) first, then Brass Hand Harry, who is showing off the new Sailing cape.
Steve sends you to a guy named Ribs, who barely says anything before sending you back. After another short exchange, Steve points you toward Junior Jim, who becomes the main quest NPC from here on.
There is a lot of dialogue, so don’t feel bad about skipping it.
Building Your Boat
Junior Jim teleports you to the shipyard. Use the Gangplank and click the hotspot to build your first storage upgrade. This one is free, so smash through it and return to Jim. He sends you back to Pandemonium and gives you your first real task: head to Port Sarim and bring back cargo.
Sailing to Port Sarim
Board your boat again by going to the Gangplank. This is how you can disembark.
You can’t move until you touch the helm. When you’re ready, set sails and angle northwest.
Once you clear the small island, turn north and ride the wind until you reach Port Sarim. You’ll know you’re close when you see the floating dock markers. Find the gangplank with the flag above it and disembark.
Talk to the Port Master, then grab the cargo from the table covered in gold coins.
Returning to Pandemonium
Go back to your ship. Before you even think about steering, open your storage and deposit the cargo. The game won’t let you sail with it in your hands.
Follow the same route back to Pandemonium. Trim your sails to stop, open your hold, withdraw the cargo, then step off the boat. If you step off without grabbing the cargo, you will have to redo the past step. The cargo will disappear.
Talk to the Port Master to turn it in. You’ll get a chunk of XP, which bumps you to level two.
Finishing the Quest
Head to Junior Jim again. He shows you the task board where you’ll pick up future Sailing jobs. From there, you return to Steve one last time and meet Old Grog, who swears he’ll hunt down Will and Anne. That sets the stage for future quest chapters.
Finishing Pandemonium rewards you with:
1 quest point
Access to the Sailing skill
Access to Pandemonium
A raft
300 Sailing XP
25 sawmills
That wraps up the whole Pandemonium quest. It’s a fast quest, but it does a clean job of explaining the basics and setting up the larger story tied to Sailing. So, now get ready to level up your sailing and become a master of the seas.
Upgrading your Medical Lab to Level 2 in ARC Raiders can be tricky since it requires several rare components. This guide highlights the most reliable locations to track down the Rusted Shut Medical Kit, Antiseptic, and the elusive Surveyor Vault, so you can spend less time searching and more time crafting.
Where to Find
Both the Rusted Shut Medical Kit and Antiseptic items are considered rare medical loot, meaning they only appear in particular locations. If you know where to look, farming for them becomes much easier.
1) Dam — Research & Admin Building
One of the best farming spots is on the Dam map inside the Research & Admin Building.
Here’s how to reach the medical room:
Head inside and go to the upper floor, above the reception desk.
Ride the zipline up, turn right, then left.
Follow the hallway to the end and enter the medical office.
Search the containers, cabinets, and shelves. You can find both the Rusted Shut Medical Kit and Antiseptic here (as long as they dropped).
2) Buried City — Hospital
The second recommended location is the Hospital on the Buried City map. It’s a very large building with multiple floors, so you need to ensure you do the following:
Check every room
Loot shelves and cabinets
Search all levels of the building
Medical loot can be hard to find, so you may need a few runs here before you get everything you need. But, since it is a hospital, the rate for spawning this medical loot is higher.
Where to Find the Surveyor Vault
The Surveyor Vault drops only from ARC Surveyors, meaning you must track one down, destroy it, and loot the body.
How to Identify an ARC Surveyor
Surveyors can be spotted easily by looking for a blue beam coming from the sky. They move fast and can be hard to pin down, so be ready to chase them down.
Tips for Fighting Surveyors
My best advice is to bring a Showstopper to stun the Surveyor. This stops them from running and gives you time to unload damage before they recover and start moving again.
Surveyor Spawn Locations
If you don’t see one in the area, rotate maps or move to a different location. They aren’t guaranteed to spawn every run, but these spots have strong chances:
Dam Battlegrounds: Hydrodome Complex & Swamp Outpost
Don’t waste time camping at one area, jump between these sites and watch for the blue beam.
Final Thoughts
Upgrading to Medical Lab Level 2 requires hunting down three rare items: Rusted Shut Medical Kit, Antiseptic, and Surveyor Vault. The Research & Admin Medical Room and Buried City Hospital are your best bets for medical supplies, while Surveyor Vaults come from hunting ARC Surveyors. With persistence and a Showstopper or two, you’ll have everything needed to craft your upgrade and push your progress even further.
Farming upgrade materials can be a major grind in ARC Raiders, but there are a few reliable ways to secure some important early-game gear. Motors and Bombardier drops are essential for crafting and progression, but both can be frustrating to track down if you’re not sure where to look. This guide breaks down the most consistent spots and strategies so you can gather everything you need efficiently.
Where to Find Motors
Motors are one of the rarer loot components, but there’s a great hotspot that offers a strong drop rate: the Buried City Parking Garage. This huge structure contains a ton of vehicles across multiple floors, making it the best single location to search. There is a lot of ground to cover here, giving you more opportunities to find motors, which in turn makes it the best location to search.
You should:
Breach the vehicles inside and loot
Sweep every level carefully
Don’t forget the basement + rooftop, as both can spawn the item.
Because of the how many vehicles in this one spot, this area provides multiple chances at once, often rewarding multiple Motors per run. It’s one of the fastest and easiest ways to stock up without wandering all over the map.
How to Defeat the Bombardier
Bombardiers are intimidating enemies, but the trick is simple: Fight them indoors. The best farming location for this miniboss is the Santa Maria Houses on the Buried City map.
Sometimes a Bastion enemy will spawn in this area instead, but each run gives you repeated opportunities to trigger a Bombardier encounter.
Understanding Its Spotters
You’ll notice two drones floating around it. They look like Snitches, but they’re actually Spotters.
Outside: they tag you, calling precise missile fire
Inside: they can’t do much
This is why the indoor method eliminates most danger, as these are annoying enemies that draw you away from the main battle.
Bombardier Step-by-Step Guide
Locate the Bombardier in Santa Maria on the Buried City map
Enter a nearby house
Head to the second floor
Peek through a window
Shoot some, then hide behind cover. Now, wait out the missile attack, then repeat the process.
If you shoot without waiting for the missile launch to pass, you risk getting killed instantly. The peek-and-shoot system is the safest way to ensure you defeat this enemy and live to tell the tale.
Final Thoughts
Farming the Motors and Bombardier materials becomes simple and repeatable. Stay indoors, shoot and peek, and you will secure the Bombardier drops. Go to the Parking Garage, search every car meticulously, and you will obtain Motors. The processes are simple and effective, allowing you to get much-needed materials conveniently.
With these reliable methods, you have exactly what you need to take your gear to the next level.
