If you’ve made the switch from PlayStation to PC, you know there is a learning curve between the controller and the mouse and keyboard. If you are looking to stay on controller while still getting all the benefits of playing on PC, this one is for you.
Wondering how to actually connect the PS5 controller to PC? This guide has everything you need to know.
Plugging in the Controller
The fastest way to connect your PS5 controller to your PC is by grabbing a USB-C to USB-A cable. This is the cable that comes with your controller when you buy it. However, these cables can be quite short, so I recommend buying one that is slightly longer for more comfort.
Now, with the cable, you will:
Plug the USB-C end into the controller (this is at the top of the controller).
Plug the USB-A end into the PC.
There shouldn’t be any recognition issues between the PC and Windows. There’s no extra setup necessary. Just load your favorite game and get to playing.
Wireless Setup
If you don’t have a cable or don’t want to be stuck connected to the computer, you do have the option of Bluetooth connectivity if your PC supports it. If it doesn’t, you can always buy a Bluetooth adapter and solve that issue.
To connect your controller via Bluetooth:
Open your PC’s settings
Scroll to Bluetooth & Devices
Choose the option of Add Device
Select Bluetooth
You should now get your controller and hold down the PlayStation button and the Share button simultaneously. It should only take moments, and the touchpad will start flashing. This indicates that the controller is ready for pairing.
Your PC will now be able to recognize the new Bluetooth device, which is the Wireless Controller. Click it and wait for it to connect. Once it does, you are all set.
That’s It?
Yep. That’s all there is to connecting your PS5 controller to your PC. Either way you prefer, neither requires much effort or time. No matter which option you choose, you’re ready to play.
If you’re having a hard time trying to find out how to screenshot on Windows, you aren’t alone. If you aren’t familiar with a keyboard, then it can be tricky trying to navigate the space. This guide will show you every method available to you for screenshotting on your PC. Follow along for detailed instructions and visuals.
Print Screen
There is a button on your keyboard that is usually labeled “Prt Sc”. This is the print screen button. This allows you to take a screenshot of your window.
This screenshot gets copied to your clipboard. Meaning, you can now open applications like Word or Notepad and paste the image there.
Windows + Print Screen
If you press the Windows button on the keyboard and the Print Screen button at the same time, it will automatically save the image to your files.
To find the image, go to your pictures and look for the folder labeled “Screenshots.” You will see the picture you just took within the folder.
Alt + Print Screen
If you have more than one screen, this option is for you. By pressing the Alt button and the Print Screen button at the same time, it will screenshot ONLY the active window. Meaning, whatever window or screen you have last clicked on will be what gets screenshotted.
This will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste it into whatever application you are using.
Snip & Sketch Tool (Windows 10)
To use this method, on your keyboard, press the Windows key at the same time you press your Shift key and the letter S. This will open the Snip and Sketch tool on your computer window.
You can now use the options provided by the tool to choose how you want to take your screenshot. This option allows you to clip and snip, rather than taking unnecessarily large screenshots. You can quickly use the tool to screenshot the exact information you want on your screen.
The screenshot gets copied to your clipboard, where you get the option to edit the clipped image. You can crop, draw, add, etc. to the screenshot. There will now be an option on that page to save the image to a folder. If you don’t edit the image, it will be on your clipboard, where you can paste the image into the desired application.
Snipping Tool (Windows 11)
Windows 11 gave an upgrade to the Snip and Sketch tool. However, they still function the same. It’s just the interface that looks a bit different.
To get to the Snipping tool, you can either type it into the computer’s search bar or use the same method of pressing Windows, Shift, and S simultaneously.
The tool does add some new features, like pre-set snipping tools and delayed capture. Once getting your screenshot, it can be saved and edited in the same way as Windows 10.
Game Bar
To open the Game Bar, on your keyboard, press your Windows key and the letter G at the same time.
You will see several different things pop up around your screen. But, in the top left, you will see a camera icon. Click this or press the Windows, Alt, and Print Screen keys at the same time, while the interface is up, to take a screenshot.
To see the saved images, click below the area where the camera icon is, where it says “See my captures.” This will open up the image. Or, you can go to your Folder and open up the Videos folder. It’s in here that you will find the screenshot.
Wrapping up
And that’s all there is to taking a screenshot on your PC. Whether you want to go the old-fashioned way of just hitting the Print Screen key or you want to open the Snipping tool and edit the photo quickly, these are all sure bets to obtain that image you want.

After a long wait, Old School RuneScape has finally announced Leagues 6, dubbed 'Demonic Pacts'.
It's been a year since Leagues 5 ended, with Raging Echoes finishing up as one of the best Leagues yet.
Now, after months of rumours, we can finally start getting excited for the next edition.
So, when might Leagues 6 start in OSRS, and what can we expect from it? Here's what we know so far.
OSRS Leagues 6: Demonic Pacts release date speculation
At the time of writing, Jagex has not confirmed the release date of Leagues 6, but that doesn't mean we don't have our suspicions.
In the teaser trailer, released as part of the New Game+ showcase, the number 666 features prominently.
Now, this could just be a reference to the devil's number, but if we translate that into a date, it could translate to 6th June 2006, the date of the infamous Falador Massacre.
As such, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Falador Massacre, we predict that Leagues 6 will begin on 6th June 2026.
Either way, we'll be hearing more about it at the upcoming Winter Summit on 25th January 2026, so tune in!
What to expect from Leagues 6 in OSRS
For the moment, Jagex hasn't announced anything about Leagues 6, and all we can really surmise is that it will have something to do with demons, if the name Demonic Pacts is any indication.
What you can probably count on is more bosses, Relics, Combat Masteries and a whole lot of boosted XP rates.
Aside from that, expect that the region locking introduced in Trailblazer League will probably make a return once more.
Again, Jagex has confirmed that a bigger reveal of Leagues 6 will be taking place at the Winter Summit on 25th January, so we'll soon be finding out more!
It's finally here – Fallout has landed in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and there's plenty to unlock.
The whole event is styled after the Fallout TV show, since season 2 is currently ongoing.
Whether you're after the Power Armor Maximus or The Ghoul Operators, or one of the nifty new weapon skins, this is one event you don't want to miss out on.
So, if you're looking for help on how to unlock all the skins, weapons and more from the CoD BO7 Fallout event, here's what you need to know.
CoD BO7 Fallout event: How to get all skins, weapons and TV show content
CoD BO7 Season 1 Reloaded brings a bunch of new Fallout content which can be unlocked in free and premium event passes.
Everything in the free pass can be unlocked for, you guessed it, free! The premium pass, however, will cost you 1,100 CoD Points, or £8.39 / $9.99.
There are a total of 20 rewards to unlock, with 10 in each pass. Here's the full list of rewards in the Fallout event:
It's fair to say that Fallout 3 made the series what it is today – there's no New Vegas without 3, after all – so it's hardly a surprise that fans are hoping for a remaster.
Bethesda hasn't said much about remastering their old games (except for Skyrim, of course), but with season 2 of the Fallout TV show doing so well, that may all be about to change.
Here's what you need to know about the Fallout 3 remaster, and when it could come out. (Hint: It's probably sooner than Fallout 5)
Will there be a Fallout 3 Remastered?
No official Fallout 3 remaster has been announced by Bethesda, at the time of writing.
That said, several Microsoft documents leaked in September 2023 (via IGN) as part of Microsoft's trial over its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Published by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), these documents revealed many upcoming projects coming from Bethesda, with a remaster of Fallout 3 noted. This has naturally led to speculation that an announcement may be on the way.
These rumours were buoyed in late-2025, when Bethesda's Todd Howard confirmed that the team was busy with Fallout 76 and "some other things." Those 'other things' were later reported to be a Fallout 3 remaster.
The latest (and most promising) news comes from January 2026, via noted Xbox insider Jez Corden, reporting for Windows Central that "we are eventually getting a Fallout 3 remake in the vein of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered."
When could a potential Fallout 3 Remastered release date be? Our speculation
At the moment, it's safe to say that we know next to nothing about the state of the Fallout 3 remaster, and as such, it's impossible to accurately say when it would come out.
According to the aforementioned FTC documents published during Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the rumoured Fallout 3 remaster was slated to be released in the financial year of 2024.
That, of course, did not pan out, but with news on development starting to leak out into the world, that does suggest that progress is being made.
While we could potentially see the Fallout 3 remaster launch in 2026, we predict that the Fallout 3 remaster will launch in 2027.
That being said, this is purely speculation, so take that with a rather large grain of salt.
Is there a fan-made Fallout 3 remaster? How to get it explained
Yes, there are a few Fallout 3 remaster mods built by fans over the years. The best place to find them is via Nexus Mods, where users upload their creations for people to try out.
Some have not been updated for years (the game did come out in 2008), so quite a few are a bit outdated.
One from WMDBloodHunter that overhauls the interiors, exterior, DLC as well as adding cut content was last updated in 2023. Just make sure to check the PC requirements.
That means players will be able to check out the new South Park Mini Battle Pass for all sorts of unique cosmetics.
We already have some confirmed South Park skins, with Kyle, Stan, Kenny, Cartman and Butters all getting their own mech skins, and there will no doubt be some extra cosmetics to unlock on top of that.
The map is getting an overhaul as well, with the Wonkeeland POI receiving a big update, turning into Cartmanland for the event.
In terms of new weapons, the highlight is certainly the Stick of Truth Mythic, although what it actually does is yet to be determined.
Other South Park items are also joining the game, such as the Cheesy Poofs Consumable, which was first shown-off in the event's teaser trailer.
There will also be a brand-new Rift Anomaly for players to check out, called 'Everyone Kills Kenny'.
As well as all of this South Park content, according to the reputable Fortnite Leaks X account, we're set to receive a new Blitz update and map, new Reload loot pool, and some new and unvaulted weapons.
On the Item Shop side of things, we'll also be getting new pet Sidekicks, Jam Tracks, Icon Series Emotes, Car Bodies, Kicks and some new Bundles too.
Like any self-respecting Fallout game, Fallout 4 is perhaps best enjoyed with mods.
And with the Fallout TV show now in season 2, and the Fallout 4 next-gen update launching a couple of years ago, there's never been a better time to mod up.
Of course, you could just use some Fallout 4 cheats, but those won't let you change the entire world like a mod can!
So, if you're looking to put your modding hat on, here's how to use Fallout 4 mods as well as our picks for the very best ones.
How to use mods in Fallout 4
Mods for Fallout 4 from the developer Bethesda can be downloaded from its official website.
To install a mod, you simply select 'Add to library' and load the game once it has finished downloading.
However, third-party websites such as Nexus Mods can also be used. Once you have clicked on your mod of choice, you must download it and save all the files to somewhere that is easy to access on your PC, such as a dedicated folder.
Then you will need to install a mod manager and log in with your corresponding credentials before navigating to your downloads, selecting them to make sure they are active. From there, you will be able to simply load Fallout 4 as usual.
On consoles such as Xbox Series X, there is a mod menu that allows you to download them straight to your game - however, there is less choice available.
Best Fallout 4 mods
There are tons of Fallout 4 mods to play around with, so knowing where to start can be overwhelming. Here is a list of some memorable ones:
Multiplayer
Roaming around a post-apocalyptic wasteland can be dangerous, so having a buddy along for the radiation-fuelled ride would be comforting. Unfortunately, previous multiplayer mods for Fallout 4 have ceased to exist, and are no longer supported by their creators.
However, with the Building Bridges mod, players can interact with each other through a paper trail of notes reminiscent of games such as Elden Ring. It’s not quite the same as having a friend running alongside you, but it gives players a chance to share useful information.
Armorsmith Extended
One of the most popular Fallout 4 mods to date, surpassing 10 million downloads. Created by Gambit77, there's so much within this mod that's made it the go-to choice for players globally.
Some features include overhauling the mods system by adding more slots for more armour and clothes to equip, alongside being able to wear clothes underneath armour. Additionally, you can craft every power armour in the game and mod any clothing and weapons to pretty much whatever you want. It changes the experience completely and is an essential mod.
A limited field of view can be annoying for some players, and it can sometimes cause misalignment in specific scenarios in the game. This FOV mod will allow you to alter that, specifically during moments within Fallout 4 such as entering power armour or using a terminal.
Thanks to this mod from VaultGirl2077 and xMakeDamnSurex, you can play as Lucy MacLean from the Fallout TV show. Perfect if you've just finished the Amazon Prime Video series.
Paladin Danse is a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, a pretty rigid companion that can accompany your adventures. While he's certainly a fierce warrior, there is a way to lighten the guy up – and that's the attire of everyone’s favourite toy spaceman, Buzz Lightyear.
That's right! Spread infinity and beyond throughout the wastelands with this colourful mod created by Trashlizard that turns power armour into Buzz's suit. It's quite the makeover. Perfect for solving any intergalactic emergencies.
Taylor Swift is everywhere right now as she continues to dominate the world of music – even managing to make an appearance in the nuclear armageddon.
The mod from TheXzi alters the player’s Pip-Boy - the bulky wrist device that acts as a hub of information - to turn a bright shade of pink, which acts as a refreshing splash of colour in the otherwise barren world. It doesn’t stop there, though, as Swift’s face also appears as a background on each menu screen, so you can think of your favourite pop star while choosing the best weapon to take down a band of raiders.
Vault Girl Recreations - Cooper Howard from the Fallout TV Show
Another mod for fans of the TV series, this one from VaultGirl2077 and xMakeDamnSurex lets you play as Cooper Howard – human or ghoul. It's highly detailed and looks quite impressive.
One of the most memorable things about the popular anime show, Naruto, is how characters sprint in it. With heads pushed forward and arms played out behind them, people in the series often look more like rapid chickens than real humans.
With this mod, players will be able to alter how their character runs when suited up in power armour to match that of the Naruto show with hilarious results.
Though NPCs don't mind having guns pointed at their face, it can ruin the sense of immersion running around the wasteland with your weapon always at the ready.
This mod seeks to remedy this by having - as the name suggests - your weapon lowered when you're not firing it.
Not only does this add to the roleplay element, but it also improves your peripheral vision, as you get a good amount of it back by not having your Fat Man mini-nuke launcher up and at the ready.
Characters in Fallout 4 have pretty strong hero lighting that makes them glow unnaturally.
It's extremely obvious in low-lighting settings such as indoors or at night, and the game looks remarkably more natural without them.
You don't need to download anything for this one, it simply requires some .ini file tweaking - which you can find out how to do on the Nexus Mods page.
There are all the mods you need to know about to change things up in Fallout 4. Since the TV show's debut, new mods are now being added regularly so we'll be updating this article just the same so head back for more suggestions in future.

To redeem codes in Marvel Rivals, you need to head into the options menu, select 'Bundle Code' and then enter the code you want to redeem.
You’ll find the options menu on the main page of the game by pressing pause on your controller, 'Esc' on your keyboard or by clicking on the cog icon in the top right of the screen.
Simply enter your code in the Bundle Code screen, hit the 'Use' button, and you’ll redeem it. Redeem your reward and you’ll be shown a preview of it before the game asks if you would like to instantly equip it or not (for new cosmetic items such as costumes, anyway). Codes shouldn’t be case-sensitive, meaning you can enter them in all caps or without using capital letters. The code we tried works like that, anyway.
We'll be sure to update this page when the next code(s) become available.
Marvel Rivals is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
In Warhorse Studios' latest RPG epic, Henry of Skalitz can have himself a summer of 15th century love in Bohemia, and you can put your best sabaton forward with our Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 romance guide, which has all your KCD2 romance options explained.
With such open-ended gameplay and dialogue options, you can fast put your foot in it and ruin your romantic prospects, though that's something KCD2 mods and console commands can probably sort out...
There are in-game ways of improving your chances with lady luck, such as brewing certain potions and dressing yourself in nice clothes, rather than traipsing around the KCD2 map in filthy clothes on a lame horse.
If you do hit it off with a character, Henry will receive the Time Well Spent buff, which adds +1 to your Strength, Agility and Vitality stats for a period of time.
In this guide, we'll split the dating pool into two categories: long and short-term romances, with these being in chronological order.
It's worth noting, too, that none of the KCD2 DLCs add new romance options.
But before we get to any of that, be warned that major spoilers lie ahead.
Without further ado, let's see who in KCD2 might want to make you say "I do"!
As you can see in our YouTube video above, there are five major romance options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
The list of KCD2 romance options is:
Klara
Rosa Ruthard
Katherine
Hans
Margaret
There are also shorter flings available with characters including Doubravka, Widow Johanka, Black Bartoush, Lousy Mary and a number of Bathhouse maids.
For the full details on all these romance options, read on!
Longer term romances
There are at least four characters who you can romance over a longer period of time in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and we’ll go over each below.
Klara
During the quest Back in the Saddle, Henry and Hans Capon are sent to Nebakov fortress.
When you arrive, you can fight someone called Michael to preserve the honour of Hans. After the duel, you can talk to Klara who can heal your wounds.
During the conversation, she will ask you about your life. Tell her about knightly duties and when asked to help her pick herbs for potions, select the dialogue option “I can’t say no to a comely lady.”
Pick up the herbs and afterwards, Klara will lead you to an opening in the forest. There she will ask you to solve a riddle. Once she’s told you the riddle, select “I think she’s called Klara.”
After this, a cutscene will ensue.
Later on during the quest The Finger of God, Henry et al will be besieged within Nebakov Fortress.
Klara wants to heal the prisoners, but the guards won’t let her as they want her to tend to their own wounded first. Klara will ask you to help with the wounded men, Mark and Zwerk, who can be found at the lower part of the battlements.
To heal Mark, follow these steps:
Clean his wounds with Schnapps
Bandage him up
Give him a painkiller potion
To heal Zwerk, follow these steps:
Clean his wounds with Schnapps
Stitch his wounds up
Bandage his wounds
Rub chamomile brew on his ankle
Give him some wine
Go back to Klara and tell her you’re finished. Next, ask her if she’s finished working and then select “There must be someone you care about” and then finally you can either select speech skill check “No walk today” or "getting a drink."
Once you finish all the tasks for the day, you can go to bed in Klara’s cabin and she will join you.
Rosa Ruthard
Daughter of the Lord of Ruthard, players first meet Rosa when they arrive at Ruthard palace to try and secure an alliance.
Rosa is smart and you will gain a better reputation with her if you compliment her intelligence without it being in the context of her being a woman.
Without spoiling anything, Rosa knows of a way to get into Malesov Castle which the player needs to infiltrate.
As an aside, Rosa asks you to find a book for her. This can be found in Otto von Bergow’s wife’s room which is one floor from the top.
After the quest, make sure to read the book before talking to Rosa again as they will quiz you on it.
To increase your reputation with Rosa, you’ll want to have a high scholarship rating in order to deduce that she is the author of the book.
Later, Rosa will ask for your help to finish the book. To increase your reputation the most, say that the story should be about a woman and that she should have noble intentions.
Finally, Rosa will ask you to pose for a drawing.
Later on in the plot, many of the characters are at Robarsch. After coming under attack from Bergow’s forces, Henry and Rosa must sneak back into Ruthard Palace.
This is done by using underground passageways, along which there will be a deep puddle that you need to carry Rosa over. Don’t hesitate and select the option to carry her straight away.
Eventually, you will make your way back to Ruthard Palace. After clearing out some bandits who have moved in, you will be in Rosa’s bedroom.
Comfort Rosa by selecting the following options:
“It will be alright.”
“Allies are our most valuable asset” – when Rosa asks about saving her father over the silver
“Maybe it won’t be necessary” – when Rosa says the two of them will have to part ways
Finally, there will be a timed section where you need to select Kiss Rosa and a cutscene will ensue.
Katherine
After finally uncovering their true identity, Katherine has a series of options during dialogue that you will want to select.
As a general rule of thumb, Katherine dislikes bravado and would rather you don’t take unnecessary risks. Anytime Katherine is worried about the rest of the crew or the situation at hand, don’t dismiss them and select options such as “It will be alright”.
They don’t mind Henry flirting with them though, assuming you pass skill checks.
After travelling to the Kuttenberg Region, you will be able to talk to them freely in Suchdol Fortress. You will be filthy though, so go to the baths to get cleaned up before talking to them.
When you return, select the dialogue option to share a bed with Katherine who will find it funny, but not distasteful.
After this, Katherine will travel ahead to Kuttenberg and work in a tavern undercover.
During her service, a sidequest, The Fifth Commandment, will become available. One of her co-workers has been murdered and she’s not sure if it’s because someone has discovered Katherine’s identity.
Follow the quest to its conclusion and you will eventually come up against the two perpetrators, Mandelina and her servant.
Katherine will want Mandelina dead there and then and if you want to be in better standing with Katherine, it’s better to kill Mandelina there and then rather than her going to trial.
Later, Katherine will go undercover in Sigismund’s army’s camp where she has another sidequest for Henry, The Stalker. A Cuman in the camp has been following her and has even stolen her shoe. Katherine wants you to figure out who it is
There are a few ways to figure out who it is.
If you found Mutt in Troskowitz, you can take Katherine’s other shoe to track down the scent where you will find it in a tent.
Otherwise, there is a Cuman who leans against a wagon just outside of the baths during the day called Chakan. You can follow him back to his tent and find the missing shoe.
It’s best to deal with the situation peacefully so as to not draw attention. Warn Chakan and inform Katherine of how you found out who it was.
Towards the end of the game, players will find themselves besieged in Suchdol Fortress for over a month. Katherine is extremely worried about the situation and how the men of the group are going to get everyone killed.
Again, understand Katherine’s point of view and select dialogue options that express concern too.
Eventually, Henry will have to sneak out of Suchdol and before you leave, Katherine will meet you on the ramparts.
If you have a good reputation with Katherine, an intimate cutscene will play.
Hans Capon
Henry and Hans’s bromance can blossom into a romance and you can do so by continuing to be his faithful servant.
Occasionally, there will be dialogue options that have a heart next to them. Select these if you want to romance Hans.
Eventually, at Suchdol fortress before you depart, there is the option to speak with Hans before you go and he will tell you a story about two knights.
Remark that the two knights sound like Henry and Hans and you will get the option to kiss him.
Margaret
In a mill to the southwest of Bylany in the Kuttenberg region, you can hear a woman screaming for help from inside a locked barn.
If you help her, she’ll run off before the miller returns with a guard as Margaret was stealing from him.
You can either pay the fine or talk your way out of it.
Afterwards, you can find her begging at the inn that is at the crossroads between Miskowitz, Pschitoky and Kuttenberg.
There, she will tell you why she had to rob the miller. Listen to what she has to say and don’t choose antagonistic responses.
Margaret will reveal that she stole the money for her friend, Anezkha, who used to work at the mill and has since gone missing since the miller got her pregnant and drove her away.
When trying to find Anezkha, she says she was attacked by bandits who stole the money and beat her up, leaving her without coin. A herbalist then supposedly took her in, patched her up and told her of a man, Latsek, who bought poison to kill his wife to marry a younger woman and get her dowry, and Margaret wants to use this knowledge to blackmail Latsek into paying a ransom.
If you offer to give her the money outright, you won’t be able to romance them and Margaret will leave.
For the plan to work, you need to bring Margaret a noblewoman’s dress and you need to don your best charisma buffing gear as well as find a sleeping potion.
With everything set in place, meet Margaret in Kuttenberg and head to the tavern Latsek is drinking at to speak with them.
When Latsek gets up to use the toilet, pour the sleeping potion into his drink.
Things won’t go to plan, however, and you will need to follow Latsek home with Margaret and blackmail him.
Finally, Margaret will thank you and offer to kiss you. If you accept, you will have the Time Well Spent Buff as well as a coin purse that is 250 Groschen lighter as Margaret will make off with some of your cash.
Short-term romances
There are a number of one-off romantic encounters that can take place throughout the game and below we’ll get into each.
Bathhouse maids
Across both maps, there are bathhouses which you can visit. There you can have your clothes laundered and your wounds healed, as well as pay for intimate services from the maids.
This will replenish your health, nourishment and tiredness.
Doubravka
After securing an invitation to the wedding at Semine with either Miller Krezyl or the Tachov blacksmith Radovan, the Wedding Crashers quest will commence, during which, you can speak to an older lady, Doubravka's Mother, who will ask you to dance with her daughter, Doubravka.
Approach Doubravka and ask her for a dance. Doubravka will be hesitant but you can select either:
"Don't worry about the people."
"You're not going to just sit in the corner!"
Doubravka is not a very good dancer and you will take damage as she steps on your toes.
Afterwards, lie about her being a good dancer and having good social skills, then, talk to her again and she’ll express an interest in you which you can reciprocate.
Widow Johanka of Zhernov
In the quest For Victory!, a feat will take place with a number of guests, one of whom is Widow Johanka of Zhernov who calls after you to chat with them.
Johanka wants to know about your story and you need to select the following options:
“I’ll be glad to tell you what happened.” (Medium scholarship difficulty)
Either “It was a lovely day for bathing.”, “Lord Hanush entrusted us with delivering a message.” or “Margrave Jobst wants to end the war.”
“They almost killed us. (Humorously)”
“The Bailiff was right to punish us.”
Next, Johanka will ask you to tell her friend who is outside. This is just a ploy to get away from the Scribe and Father Nicodemus though, as she wants to talk to you in private.
Select the dialogue option “I think I can convince you” with the love heart next to it.
This will skip time until the morning, however, so be sure to have completed any tasks during the banquet.
Black Bartoush
Also during For Victory!, Black Bartoush is leaning by the wall behind the table. One of the dialogue options makes Henry mention the pretty girls, but Black Bartoush indicates he’s not exactly interested in them.
In response, select “I reckon I know what you're getting at.” and then “Shall we spend the rest of the evening alone?” to romance them.
Lousy Mary
The unfortunately named Lousy Mary can be found in the Kuttenberg bathhouses as part of the quest Into the Underworld that sees you tracking down Goatskin, a man said to be spying for a rich lord.
You need to speak with them to try and find Goatskin and she’ll invite you for a drink and then for the sins of the flesh.
The upcoming prequel to hit MMO Black Desert Online, Crimson Desert and its release date are fast approaching.
First announced back in 2023, we've now seen a few trailers drop, and even some previews along the way, so it's time to start getting excited.
So, if you're looking forward to Pearl Abyss's upcoming open world adventure, here are all the details about the Crimson Desert release date and more.
When is the Crimson Desert release date?
Crimson Desert releases on 19th March 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
This was revealed during last September's Sony State of Play as part of a new trailer.
The game was initially scheduled to release in 2024. This was then pushed back, with a trailer at The Game Awards 2024 seemingly confirming a late-2025 release.
Of course, we now know that the game was further delayed, so here's hoping that 19th March is the definitive release date.
Can I pre-order Crimson Desert?
You can pre-order digital versions of the game directly from their respective storefronts:
Which consoles and platforms can play Crimson Desert?
Crimson Desert is releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
It was originally meant to release on PS4 and Xbox One, but following a couple of delays, it's moved onto current gen consoles only.
We also don't know if a Switch 2 version is on the books, but if it sells well enough, who knows?
Crimson Desert gameplay and story details
Much like its spiritual predecessor, Crimson Desert is an open-world fantasy RPG. You can explore it on foot or horseback, and you'll have the option to complete quests, fish, chop trees and – we're delighted to say – pet plenty of dogs.
The combat looks to be a satisfying combo, block and parry affair, with a variety of interesting enemies (including ones you can climb, à la Shadow of the Colossus).
As for the story, we don't know much about that from the trailer. All we know is the game is set in the same universe as Black Desert Online, and we take control of protagonist Macduff as he fights against the forces of evil and confronts his past.
Is there a Crimson Desert trailer?
There is a trailer, and it's pretty awesome. Check it out below, in all its dog-petting glory:
Recently, Valve announced a slew of new hardware, including a revival of an ill-fated PC-console hybrid, and as such, we’ll be going over everything we know about the upcoming Steam Machine, from release date speculation, specs and the latest news.
We’ll also touch on just how the Steam machine fits into the PC and console narrative, but those who already have a Steam Deck will know the score here.
In a separate article, we took a look at how much the Steam Machine could cost, something that has become even more contentious due to the increasing price of RAM – more on that later.
But without further ado, let’s steam on for all things Steam machine!
When is the Steam Machine release date?
Valve stated that it hopes to release the Steam Machine in “early 2026”.
That is a fairly vague period of time, but reasonably, we can assume that to mean up to April 2026 or so.
The release date could be hampered by the ongoing RAM crisis due to AI datacentres hoovering up DRAM and NAND modules, used in system memory chips and SSDs, causing these components to skyrocket in price.
With business booming for manufacturers of these chips, some, such as Micron, are pulling out of the consumer market to instead focus on selling directly to enterprise.
All said, Valve, which has gone on the record to say that it wants to be competitively priced with entry-level PCs, may have pause for thought as it reevaluates market conditions.
Will it weather the storm, or ride it out and fall back on Steam revenue to absorb the costs?
As soon as we know more, we will update you as soon as possible!
Can I pre-order the Steam Machine?
No, you cannot pre-order the Steam machine at this time.
You can wishlist it on Steam, so that you are notified the moment it becomes available for purchase.
There is also no word on whether Valve will employ a reservation system, as it did for the Steam Deck when it was first announced.
This placed prospective buyers in a queue after paying a small deposit, and when it became available for purchase, you had a window of time to put up the rest of the money.
Valve is no stranger to hardware launches now, however, so Valve could be manufacturing a large enough volume for a general launch.
Is the Steam Machine a PC or console?
The Steam Machine is a PC-hybrid console.
It is essentially the same experience as the Steam Deck, sans the portability and built-in screen, in that SteamOS, a custom version of Arch Linux, has a very console-like interface when you turn it on, but you can switch to a desktop environment.
While it is a bit more fiddly than a traditional console, it is extremely flexible, and opens the door to cheap PC games stretching back decades.
By popping into the desktop, you can install other store launchers, or anything really, as it is just a computer.
However, if you’re happy with just Steam, you can treat it very much like a console, especially seeing as the Steam Machine comes bundled with a controller.
With all that in mind, the Steam machine will be equally happy under a television in your living room, or as a PC on your desk, with mouse and keyboard plugged in.
In general, Valve pegs the Steam Machine as having “over six times the horsepower of Steam Deck”. Looking at the spec sheet, the Steam Machine looks to sit between the Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, in terms of power, but more towards the latter machine.
Unlike a console, though, the Steam Machine does not have unified memory, but instead has 16GB of system memory and 8GB of video memory.
This is an important distinction, because many recent AAA games, especially those using Unreal Engine 5, struggle to run with 8GB of video memory due to the massive size of assets, such as textures, whereas a console, despite having less memory overall, can assign only a few GB to game logic, and use the rest for video memory, if it needs to.
With this in mind, the Steam Machine will be perfectly comfortable playing esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, but don’t expect a good experience playing something like Black Myth: Wukong with all the settings turned up.
As for those specs, check them out below:
Steam Machine specs
CPU - Semi-custom AMD Zen 4 6C / 12T, up to 4.8 GHz, 30W TDP
Storage - 512GB or 2TB NVMe SSD (both models include a high-speed microSD card slot)
Does the Steam Machine come with a controller?
Yes, the Steam machine comes with a bundled Steam Controller.
The Steam Controller is essentially the Steam Deck, but without the screen. There are your typical triggers, bumper buttons, D-pad, analogue sticks and ABXY buttons, but there are also four back-facing buttons and dual trackpads.
The controller also has a gyroscope, meaning you can get mouse-like accuracy without the use of the trackpads.
Said trackpads make more PC centric games, such as strategy games, more readily playable in a living room setting, without the need for a mouse and keyboard.
The trackpads can also be used to create additional shortcuts, akin to a weapon wheel in a game.
For those who like the controller but want to play on a system with a bit more oomph, the Steam Controller will be available separately.
For a good while, Fallout 76 had something of a bad reputation, but fast forward a good few years, and it's in a much better place, with many thousands flocking to it, but the question remains if Fallout 76 is cross-platform – we've got your Fallout 76 multiplayer options explained!
This shot in the arm for Fallout 76 is the latest in a long line of updates that have made Fallout 76 good now, at least when you ask producer Bill LaCoste.
But, you're here wondering if your friends on other platforms can come help you achieve every Fallout 76 trophy, so let's get to it!
Is Fallout 76 cross-platform?
No, unfortunately Fallout 76 is not cross-platform, meaning that cross-play between PC, Xbox and PlayStation is not possible - although Steam and Game Pass players can play together on PC servers.
The bad news continues, sadly, as progression is not carried across different consoles, meaning that even if you log into your same Bethesda account on another platform, you won’t have access to your character, as they are locked to a specific server.
With that in mind, if you have friends who play Fallout 76, make sure to pick up a copy for the platform they play on or you’ll have to buy it twice, or make new friends to play with!
How does Fallout 76 multiplayer work?
In Fallout 76, you can team up with up to three other players and take on quests across the Appalachian wasteland.
In your team, you will have six goals to choose from:
Hunting
Roleplay
Events
Exploration
Building
Casual
If you’re familiar with Fallout 4, then you’ll love the building mode in Fallout 76 as it is even more expansive, meaning you can create some truly impressive bases.
You will be playing in a server with a 24-player capacity, and you can engage in PvP with other players after you have reached a certain level.
These players can also raid your base, so you may need to be on the defence at times. Otherwise, you can turn on the ‘Pacifist’ mode and not have other players bother you.
There are quests and in-game events too, with Bethesda regularly bringing out new content.
To best survive the wasteland, you'll want to pick the best perks in Fallout 4 and understand how the perk system works.
There is a dizzying array of perks to choose from, and it can be difficult to choose on a first playthrough, if you've been inspired to try the games out after the Fallout series, which is now in its second season.
Choosing the best Fallout 4 perks will work towards creating the best build, but if you do muck things up a little, you can always respec to right any wrongs, though, seeing as there is no level cap in Fallout 4, you can just keep going until you've unlocked everything.
And the perk of reading a Fallout 4 perk guide is that you can skip this intro entirely and scroll on down for all that crucial information!
How does the perks system work in Fallout 4?
The perks and skills system for Fallout 4 is quite different to previous entries in the series, and is more akin to how it works in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Each skill has a number of levels, and these unlock perks – which in turn can be levelled up in rank.
In Fallout 4 (and the rest of the Fallout games), there are seven skills, which are:
S – Strength
P – Perception
E – Endurance
C – Charisma
I – Intelligence
A – Agility
L – Luck
When you create a character, you have 21 points to dish out to each of these skills. When you level up in the game, you can increase one of these seven skills or spend it on a perk pertaining to that skill.
You can also increase skills by finding and reading magazines or coming across bobbleheads.
Ultimately, it depends on what sort of build you want to go for in Fallout 4, but there are some that are useful no matter what path you go down.
The ones we would recommend are:
Fortune Finder (Luck) – Find more caps in the wasteland
Scrounger (Luck) – Find more ammunition in the wasteland
Something that is eternally useful is being able to pick locks and unlock terminals, as these can make your job of navigating locations far simpler. For this, go with the following:
Locksmith (Perception) – Each rank unlocks the ability to pick more difficult locks
Hacker(Intelligence) – Gain the ability to hack increasingly difficult terminals and never get locked out
You can also find a lot of traction in perks that increase your health and resistance to damage and radiation:
Toughness (Endurance) – Each rank unlocks additional damage resistance
Rad Resistant (Endurance) – Each rank unlocks additional radiation resistance
Ghoulish (Endurance) – Health regenerates in the presence of radiation
Quite often, too, you may need to buy something in a pinch rather than crafting it, so perks that improve trading can make your caps go further:
Cap Collector (Charisma) – Get better deals with vendors

Last autumn, Microsoft increased the cost of the Xbox Game Pass and fans were... let's say perturbed.
The tech giant announced the gaming subscription service would be increased by up to 50% for new and existing subscribers in the UK.
The membership currently has three tiers available which have been rebranded to Game Pass Essential, Premium and Ultimate.
Costs for these now start at £6.99 a month, £10.99 a month and £22.99 a month, with a variety of perks included from unlimited cloud gaming to new day-one game releases.
You can find out all the details in our Xbox Game Pass explainer, but for now we're thinking about how to save money on your subscription, here's what you need to know.
The best thing to do when buying an Xbox Game Pass subscription is to buy in bulk. UK retailers like Loaded (formerly CD Keys), Argos and Currys offer three and 12-month membership subscriptions which save you money overall.
At the time of writing, the cost of these subscriptions are still in the old pricing (£14.99 for Ultimate etc), so you may be able to snag a cheaper membership if you act fast and buy for the whole year. Right now, the cheapest cost for the Ultimate is 12 months for £129.99 and three months for £33.99 at Loaded – that equates to just under £12 a month.
Another way to save is to add your Xbox to an existing subscription like your monthly phone SIM. UK networks like EE, O2 and Vodafone all include the Xbox Game Pass as a monthly add-on with plans starting from £17 a month.
This is a great way of getting your Xbox Game Pass for less and wrapping all your payments into one bill.

Glowing Items
For a game that has millions of items to pick up and use, it can be hard to spot them while exploring its gloomy wasteland environments and dilapidated buildings. Fortunately, modder bwins95 on Nexus Mods has provided us with a helpful fix: glowing items.
Hate that lockpicking minigame in Fallout 76? Modder MassimoMx’s Lockpick Bar 76 mod is the one for you! Download this and lockpicking will be made a lot easier.
If you’re not a fan of the in-game map, you’ll want to get this mod by Ultimist downloaded. It replaces the in-game map with a more highly detailed version that should make traversing the wasteland a whole lot easier.
This ambitious mod restores Appalachia to its pre-war look. As per its description on Nexus Mods, Appalachia Restored: "Aims at reverting everything to its pre-war state - architecture, clutter, furniture, roads, removing tons of trash from the streets and houses, adding a whole lot of lights everywhere, repairing broken buildings, you name it."
Creators Rigell and IceLain have put a lot of work into this one, and as such it is still in early access.
This mod replaces the Cultist Enlightened Robe with Minions, the Pastor Outfit to Dr Nefario and Mothman to Gru. Creator Kharnellis has also raised the pitch of the Minion voices for added authenticity - because why not?
This mod by ggMatze replaces the Watoga-Jumpsuit and Mothman Glasses with the legendary Ghostbusters Overall and Ecto-Goggles. Now you can look good and feel good.

It's finally time for FC 26 TOTY, and the voting is now open!
The promo has players vote for the best players in the world from the previous year, with the winners receiving hugely upgraded promo cards.
You can now vote, so here's what you need to know about the promo release date, how to vote and the full list of nominees.
2025 is over, and you know what that means – FC 26 TOTY is about to arrive!
The yearly promo sees players vote for their Team of the Year, with the very best players in both the men's and women's games getting huge promo cards.
With voting about to start, here's what you need to know about the FC 26 TOTY voting and when the promo might begin.
When will FC 26 TOTY be released? Our speculation
We would predict that FC 26 TOTY cards will start being released on or around Friday 16th January 2026.
Again, we’ve based this prediction on last year’s drop, which saw the first set of cards (attackers) being released two Fridays after the voting began.
We would expect to see a number of different drops on consecutive Fridays. Last year, the first week saw the attackers, the second week gave us the full men’s and women’s squads, and the fourth week unleashed the 12th Man and 12th Woman.
As for UK launch times, it tends to be 6pm GMT on Fridays for FC drops. Of course, EA could buck tradition at any point, but we’d be surprised to see that happen with such a reliable promo as this.
FC 26 TOTY voting and nominees
Voting for FC 26 TOTY began on 7th January 2026, and you can vote now on the EA Sports FC website.
As ever, the nominees are split between men's and women's teams, and by positions.

The iconic animation is set for a crossover with Epic Games' hit shooter, bringing with it South Park skins, POIs, events and more.
If you're excited for the event, here's what you need to know about the Fortnite South Park release date, and all the upcoming South Park skins too.
South Park returned from a long hiatus in 2025, but who cares about that when 2026 is the year it lands in Fortnite?
Fortnite has already seen plenty of iconic animated shows make their way into the game, whether that's The Simpsons, Family Guy or Rick and Morty, and now it's South Park's turn.
So, when does the South Park event begin in Fortnite? What's going to be included? Here's everything we know so far.
When is South Park coming to Fortnite? Release date confirmed
South Park is officially coming to Fortnite, as confirmed by a recent teaser posted to Fortnite's official social media channels.
Captioned, "Chaos, loading...", the post also comes with a confirmed release date for the event – the South Park x Fortnite event will begin on 9th January 2026.
In December 2025, X account HYPEX revealed that not only is a South Park collaboration on the way, but it's set to be a big one too (more on that down below).
What to expect from the South Park x Fortnite crossover: All South Park skins
The highlight of the collaboration is a set of five new South Park skins in Fortnite. These skins are:
Stan
Kyle
Kenny
Cartman
Butters (Professor Chaos)
Since they're all kids, these will all be mech skins, similar to the treatment Bart got in the recent Simpsons crossover.
These skins will likely cost 1,500 V-Bucks each, or be available as part of a larger South Park Bundle.
As well as that, it looks like Towelie will be joining the game as a Sidekick, although this has not been confirmed.
In a teaser trailer for the event, we also see a bunch of references from the show being added to the game, such as a Cheesy Poofs Consumable.
The map is receiving an overhaul, with the Wonkeeland POI being changed to Cartmanland, and according to leaker Hypex, will feature at least one new Boss.
There will also be a new Rift Anomaly, dubbed 'Everyone Kills Kenny'.
Of course, we would expect to see a few more cosmetics added to the game as well, including Emotes, Back Blings and more.
As one of the best RPGs in history, it's hardly surprising that fans are clamouring for a Fallout: New Vegas remaster.
We're heading there for season 2 of the Fallout TV show, so it would be the perfect time to announce a return, right, Obsidian Entertainment?
Well, for now, here's what you need to know about whether a Fallout: New Vegas remaster is in development.
Will there be a Fallout: New Vegas remaster? What the developers have said
At the time of writing, there is no confirmed news of a Fallout: New Vegas remaster, but that doesn't tell the whole story.
Back in July, VGC journalist Jordan Middler claimed via the Friends Per Second podcast that "there are multiple Fallout projects in development," before adding that this includes "the one that I'm sure you're all wanting."
He does, however, clarify that "it's not far enough along to say anything like 'you're going to be playing this game anytime soon'."
We got a bit more news in November, Bethesda's Todd Howard confirmed that the team was split between Fallout 76 and "some other things," which was later reported to be a Fallout 3 remaster.
Following up on this news, noted Xbox insider Jez Corden alleged in a Tweet that New Vegas "is coming too," although he provided no further details.
He followed up on this in January 2026, stating for Windows Central that, as well as an eventual Fallout 3 remake, we will be getting "Fallout New Vegas on top."
Furthermore, he implies that the remaster will be done by original developers Obsidian, stating, "I'm told Obsidian of Grounded, The Outer Worlds and Fallout New Vegas fame has four new projects, some big some small.
"Fallout co-creator Tim Cain also joined the studio a short while ago. I'm not sure if any of these projects are Fallout-related, but either way, it shows Xbox isn't taking its foot off the pedal when it comes to content."
Unfortunately, that's about all we know about a potential New Vegas remaster, and while both Middler and Corden are reputable sources, it is still worth taking any rumours with a pinch of salt.
As for when the New Vegas remaster could and would arrive, it doesn't appear to be anywhere near release, suggesting a 2027 release – perhaps alongside Fallout season 3?
