What is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Operation Amber Sky?

Earlier this week, Ubisoft revealed the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint crossover event known as Operation Amber Sky. It’s the first time these two forces have come together within the latest Ghost Recon game, and should make for an explosive gameplay experience. However, right now details are short on what this event is. That’s why we’ve put this guide to everything we know so far together.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Operation Amber Sky

The event was revealed with the following trailer. It depicts heroes from both Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

The event is based around a gas called Amber Ruin. Someone is trying to get it off of the island of Auroa, and it’s down to the Ghosts, with the help of the Seige Operators Ash, Finka, and Thatcher, to stop it.

The event will start on January 21, and will last for just ten days. It’s one of the shortest in the game’s history. Apparently players will have the chance to take on the role of each of these Siege Operators whilst the event is live. How that works remains to be seen. It’s likely that this feature will also remain in the game’s settings as something that can be turned on after the event is over.

Ubisoft has added that there will be eleven exclusive items available for players to earn during the event. This includes a number of uniforms, and an underbarrel shotgun.

The event is also going live as a free weekend for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint gets underway. That free weekend starts on January 21 and lasts until January 25. It’ll give new players a chance to see what the game is like when the best events are available to play in it.

Interestingly, Rainbow Six Quarantine was scheduled for a release early last year, but was delayed indefinitely. The game appeared to share similar visuals aspects to this event. Of course, it was also linked to the Operators of Rainbow Six Siege. It will be interesting to see if there are any references to the game in this event while it’s live.

What to Expect

If past Ghost Recon: Breakpoint events are anything to go by, this even will completely change the island of Auroa for a short time. It will probably introduce a new type of enemy for players to fight against. There should also be some exclusive missions that are linked to an in-game battle pass for the event. (southern.ncsy.org)

As for activities, the most likely situation is that players will need to find sources of this gas and disarm or destroy them before they can be shipped. A lot of focus will also be on finding those responsible for them and stopping them for good.

That’s everything we know about Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Operation Amber Sky at the time of writing. More information will probably be revealed over the next few days, so keep an eye out for more on The Centurion Report. This is definitely one to play the game for.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Zell Villager Guide

Zell is a smug deer Villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He’s possibly one of the most smug Villagers you’ll come across in the game, making him more annoying than anything. However, he’s not without his charms. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Zell Villager Guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about Zell. From his personality to his house, all the facts are contained here. We’ll even throw in a few details that you probably didn’t know until today.

Who is Zell?

Animal Crossing- New Horizons Zell Villager Guide

As we’ve already mentioned, Zell is a smug deer Villager. He’s been part of the series since Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so not for as long as most Villagers out there. His initial catchphrase is actually a reference to the way that deer will jump on all four legs at once in the wild. If you look up a video of deer jumping, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. His name is also though to have been inspired by the word gazelle, though this is incredibly hard to pin down. This is actually a type of antelope, but given the animal types are set in Animal Crossing, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch. Interestingly, Zell has a unique birthday, but we’ll get onto that in the next section.

Birthday

zells birthday

This is an incredibly important part of our Animal Crossing: New Horizons Zell Villager Guide. Zell has the same birthday as Tommy and Timmy, the shopkeepers. This means that the day is even more special than it usually would be. The date for these birthdays is June 7, so you need to pop over and see the shop first before heading over to see Zell. He’ll be hanging out in his house all day, so he’s easy to find. Once there, you can take part in some party games, and even get some cake for showing your face. Save the cake, because it will help you in building up your island later on in the game. (xanax online) Finally, there’s also a big advantage to relationship here, because you can enhance yours with Zell by giving him a gift. Do this, and it’ll boost that relationship right up. He’ll also give you a gift the next day in return because he’s awesome.

Zell’s Personality

zells personality

Zell has the smug personality type, and that’s not ideal. At least we don’t think so. Smug Villagers are generally quite kind and polite, maybe even acting like a gentleman. However, they also love themselves a bit too much. Zell is all about talking about himself, so you might end up avoiding him if this sounds like a terrible bore. However, smug Villagers do get on well with almost every other Villager in the game. Their personalities are a mix of many others, so while there’s a lot of annoyance, it’s also easy to have a smug Villager like him on your island. All you need to do is leave him alone and he’ll get along with everything just fine. The one thing to look out for is when he starts to talk about himself. Avoid him like the plague and go about your own business. There’s no need to get so involved and annoyed. We certainly did.

Zell’s Appearance

zells appearance

Zell is a deer Villager, but he looks like a blackbuck antelope. This is deliberate, and you can see it done with a few other Villagers in the game. This is because the developers have specific animal types and need to make all the Villagers fit within them. Despite him actually being an antelope, he falls into the deer category. He’s got white fur with a lovely black pattern going all over his body. He even has the iconic spiralled horns of the animal that inspired his look. His hooves are white, and the only [arts of him that look different are the insides of his ears as well as his eyes. These are the less standard aspects of his face, and they stand out more because of his unique appearance among deer Villagers.

Zell’s House

zells house

Zell is one of the few Villagers to have a house that suits his looks. It’s got darker walls and ends with a pointy roof with a white top. It’s as if he’s been transformed into a house, which is exactly what all Villager houses should look like. If you’re looking for unique houses to collect and assemble together on your island, then this is one of the first to start with. He’s not a desirable Villager by any means, but he does have a cracking house.

The interior of Zell’s house is what you’d expect from the top floor restaurant in the space needle in Seattle. The wallpaper shows windows with a night sky beyond them all around. It feels like there’s no privacy. The flooring is high quality carpet, the sort of stuff posh hotels use. He has a pool table, lovely leather chairs, a gramophone, and a piano for background noise. It’s like he took a hotel and put it inside his house. While it might seem shallow, it suits this smug Villager down to the ground.

Facts About Zell

Unfortunately, there’s nothing more to know about Zell. However, we do see the fact that his birthday is the same as Tommy and Timmy’s as a pretty interesting fact. It’s almost as if the developers wanted to make you life awkward on that date. If you spend too much time with Tommy and Timmy and forget, you’ll annoy Zell. Spend too much time with Zell, and who knows what the shopkeepers will do about it. This is the first real instance we’ve covered of Villagers and major NPCs sharing a birthday. While there are no in-game references to this, it’s possible that they will be added at a later date. Tidbits of information and small remarks are at the heart of Animal Crossing lore, and we believe that it will be expanded here in some way in the future. Use this knowledge wisely though, and make sure you pick up three presents for the twins and Zell on this day.

Dead Cells The Concierge Boss Guide | Beat him First

Dead Cells has quite a few bosses for players to throw themselves against. They’ll always bookend an area, acting as the guardian to the next one. As long as you can beat them, you can continue with the current run and possibly even finish the game. In this Dead Cells The Concierge guide, we’re covering how you beat the first boss in the game. This is one that every player will come up against more than any other. We’ll show you what it’s capable of, and even provide some tips about how to beat it quickly.

What is The Concierge?

Dead Cells The Concierge

The Concierge is the first Tier 1 boss in the game. It’s always going to be the first boss you take on. You’ll be fighting it on the Black Bridge, which is the only area in which it appears. Luckily, this area is purely a boss arena. You won’t be fighting any other enemies here in addition to it.

Attacks and Strategies

fire strike

Now, let’s cover the types of attacks that you’re likely to see from this, the first boss in Dead Cells, The Concierge. We’ll also briefly cover how you can avoid them or defend against them. This is tough because it’s so early on in the game, but there are certain things you can do to make your life easier.

Stab

This attack is exactly what it sounds like. The concierge is going to wind up for a period and then stab directly in front of itself. This move can actually be blocked, parried, or dodged. Use whichever workaround you’re most comfortable with. Overall, this isn’t the toughest boss, so dodging every stab attack won’t cost you a lot.

Fire Strike

This move sees the first boss in Dead Cells, The Concierge reach up and smash its hand into the ground. Flames will then spread out either side of it and fill the arena. If you’re caught by the flames, you’ll take damage and then continue to take damage over time from the fire. You can only dodge this attack by jumping over it. There’s no other way to get around it. Every time you see it coming, make sure you jump. If you don’t, you’re asking to take damage.

Leap

For this move, the boss crouches down and then leaps at the player. It’ll damage you on contact, so you need to be getting away from it and where it looks like it’ll be landing. Luckily, you can block, parry, and dodge this attack. You can also avoid the attack by crouching, but only when the boss is at the peak of the attack. dodging any earlier or later will still see it land on you and deal some serious damage.

You should look for this attack after a Fire Strike. It’s the most common time for the boss to use it. If you see the boss smash down for a Fire Strike and then crouch, you know that you need to dodge a Leap attack next.

Finally, this attack can also be used after Aura of Laceration has been cast. This is an aura that we’ve outlined below. All you need to know for sure is that if the defensive tactic has been deployed by the boss, you’re going to take damage from its Leap attack. You can decrease the likelihood of a Leap attack by remaining close to the boss, though you’ll need to be dodging a lot more Stab attacks as a result.

Defensive Measures

shout attack

The boss has a couple of defensive moves that it might deploy during your fight. This all depends on how quickly you can dispatch the enemy. We’ll cover each of them below and provide some useful information to help you cope with them.

Shout

This move happens every time the boss reaches a certain level of HP. It’s a move that indicates that it’s shifting into the second phase of the fight. During this phase, the boss will be a lot more erratic and aggressive. It’s best to focus on dealing the most damage possible during this secondary phase, otherwise you stand a chance of dying very quickly.

The Shout itself is loud and will stun you if you’re in range of it. It’s hard to tell when the boss will do this, but if you see it approaching about half HP, use ranged attacks to get it down the rest of the way. Hopefully, this will result in you being out of range of the stun attack. Interestingly, this attack won’t stun Biters or Turrets, though neither will be able to attack the boss whilst it is performing the Shout attack.

Alongside the Shout attack, a forcefield is activated that protects the boss from any incoming damage or status effects. This is a way for it to negate whatever you might have applied to it in the first phase of the fight. It levels the playing field for the second phase and forces you to set up all status effects once again.

The only way to get out of the way of this move is to be far away from the boss. If you notice that it’s about to Shout, run as far as you can. This should get out out of the shield it generates, and prevent you from being stunned. following this move, the boss will typically perform Aura of Laceration, the move below.

Finally, if you’ve stunned the boss right before it should have used Shout, you’ll have a window of a few seconds to get away from it. The Boss will always use the Shout move though.

Aura of Laceration

This move sees the boss charge and generates a red aura around it. If you touch this aura, you’ll take damage. you can roll through the aura, but you need the correct timing. You need to roll through the boss and out the other side. If you don’t, you’ll take damage.

Finally, this move can also be used with Leap. It’s a powerful combination that deals even more damage than Leap on its own.

Best Strategy

strategy

This is the first boss in the game. When you first start playing Dead Cells, it might seem like a challenge. After a few runs though, it’ll be so easy that you can probably get through it without taking any damage. The key is to use the right weapons and strategies against it. Of course, these are all randomized, so you can only use what you come across in the current run.

Our advice is to ensure that you have a good trap on you by the time you face this boss. Traps will hold the boss in place. If you have a rare one, it might even apply status effects that freeze the boss or cause damage over time. Try to pin the boss at one side of the arena. This way, when it uses Fire Strike, you should have a long run on one side of it to leap over the fire. Traps also prevent the boss from performing the Leap attack, which can completely ruin a strategy.

With this in mind, it’s also good to have a turret or some way or dealing damage over time to the boss. This will ensure that the boss is getting hurt, even while you’re not dealing damage directly. (Xanax) It makes dodging more justifiable since the fight will still be over quickly.

Dead Cells The Concierge Lore

the concierge lore

This boss is Castiang, the prison warden. He used to be in charge of managing the prison guards and all those who came in and out. One day, he received secret orders from the King to stop controlling those who entered the prison. Instead, he was to keep everyone inside, even if they’d finished their sentence. He then publicly posted these orders, asking for all infected to come forward. The King scolded him for this.

Later, the King asked Castiang to prevent all infected and prisoners from leaving via the bridge. It’s unclear if these people were guilty of any crime, but there’s no evidence that they were. He was also instructed to use force whenever necessary.

It’s implied in the game that Castiang was taking bribes to deliberately ignore the King’s orders. It’s thought that he took these bribes to support his lazy lifestyle.

Overall, the first boss in Dead Cells, The Concierge, was a nasty piece of work. He deliberately ignored orders, and made others do his work whenever possible. This led to his ultimate downfall, because those he was meant to keep inside the prison ended up causing more trouble that he expected.

Demon’s Souls Maneater Boss Guide | Don’t be a Meal

There are some bosses in Demon’s Souls that absolutely cannot be beaten. Luckily, Maneater isn’t one of them. There’s no trick to this enemy. It’s all about skill and determination. You need to get into the arena and beat it fair and square with the skills you’ve learned throughout the rest of the game. With that said, this guide should help you get the upper hand in all encounters too.

Ground Attacks

The Maneater has a lot of attacks to combat. The first of these is a single-handed pounce. It’ll jump at you and bring one fist down to cause damage. You can dodge it to either side, or block it if you’re good enough.

The boss can also jump and come down with a two-handed pounce. This will cause loads of damage too. It’s best to dodge right out of the way of this one. You can block it, but only if you have a shield with the highest Guard Break Reduction rating.

The third pounce attack is a literal pounce. You’ll see the boss get down on all fours and leap at you. Once again, it’s better to dodge out of the way of this one. If you’ve got the strongest of shields, you might just be able to block it.

Maneater can also emit a sonic wave attack. This will hit you with magical damage if it hits you, but you can avoid it if you step out of the way.

The final ground attack in the arsenal for this boss is the power boost. The boss’ snake tail will bite it and charge it up with increased attack power. As this process happens, you can get a lot of attacks in on the boss. Do so and then avoid it while it’s powered up.

Aerial Attacks

What makes Maneater quite impressive is its range of aerial attacks that complement its ground attacks. The boss can fall onto the player and pound them with two hands. This deals loads of damage, so roll out of the way to avoid it.

The boss can emit a sonic wave while flying, but it’s no different to the ground version.

Finally, the boss can use a Homing Soul Arrow. It fires three Soul Arrows that will track you and deal serious damage. You can prevent this attack from ever happening if you cut off the snake tail.

Tactics

tactics

You can use ranged and magic to destroy the boss, but they’re arguably harder than a straight melee build. By getting up close and personal, you can cut off the boss’ tail straight away and prevent power boos and one flying attack. You can also move nimbly around it to avoid attacks.

At range, the boss has plenty of moves to both close the gap and deal damage. You’re totally exposed if you’re too far away. The best way to take it down is by being up in its face and attacking as much as possible. (https://hungryenoughtoeatsix.com/)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide

Dom might just be the Villager that embodies most players in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He’s a jock sheep Villager and was actually only introduced with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Though he was later added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about this lovable sheep.

Who is Dom?

Dom is a pink-skinned sheep with white wool, though he’s often seen wearing a rainbow tie-dye t-shirt. His hooves are white, which seems to go well with his overall colour scheme. This is something that a lot of players love about him.

Birthday

Dom’s birthday is March 18. On that day you’d be wise to pop over to his house and check in on him. He’ll probably be hanging out there all day, waiting for Villagers to pop by and wish him a happy birthday. If you do the same, you’re likely to get a cake. It should also do wonders for your relationship with him.

Dom’s Personality

As I mentioned above, Dom is a jock sheep Villager. This means his interests lie solely in being active and bodybuilding. Something he’s extremely vocal about. While jocks are often hyperactive and motivated, they also come across as dense and egotistical to others.

As a result, Dom will probably try to compete with players while fishing or catching bugs. So if you’re looking for a fun activity, challenge Dom to a match.

As a jock Villager, Dom is going to get on with sisterly, peppy, and cranky Villagers. His personality will be in direct conflict with lazy and snooty Villagers though. The fact that he can’t understand why someone would sit around doing nothing is a real source of tension.

Dom’s House

Dom’s house is one of the most normal you’ll come across in the game. From the outside, it looks like something any human would live in. It actually looks really nice.

When you head inside, the interior of Dom’s house isn’t actually that crazy. Sure, he has wallpaper that resembles the sky, but otherwise it looks like a garden. It’s exactly like Dom took his house, and brought the garden in with him. It might not make sense to you, but he’s a sheep, so he really wants grass and hay where he’s going to be spending most of his time. (Xanax)

Facts About Dom

Image Source: The Bell Tree Forums

Although no one has come out to say this directly, Dom is an icon for the LGBT+ community. Whether it’s because of his pink skin and horns, or the rainbow he wears on his t-shirt, he’s found a home with this community.

Over Pride Month in 2020, Dom shot to the top of the Animal Crossing Villager Popularity list. If that’s not the defining fact from this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide then I don’t know what is.

Dom isn’t afraid to be himself, and a lot of people are inspired by that. Twitch streamers and YouTubers alike adore him. Hopefully, the love for him continues over the years, because he really is such a wonderful character.

That’s it for our Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide. If there’s something you think we missed, then let us know what in the comments.
