Gamers who have played Call of Duty: Warzone's Resurgence mode will feel right at home in Fortnite Reload, where teammates will continuously respawn as long as a member of the squad is still alive.
With 40 players total and just nine POIs on a small island, picking the right landing spot is imperative. That's why I've put together this guide of the five best landing spots in Fortnite Reload so you can loot up and get ready for the constant stream of action.
5. Lil' Loot Lake
Lil' Loot Lake features just one house in the middle of the water, just like the OG Loot Lake. This makes it a tough spot to land, but if you can take control of it, you'll be in a great spot. The house has weapons inside and underneath, while nobody will be able to get across the water to challenge you without you seeing them. Just keep someone watching the sky for enemies dropping in.
This is the ultimate Fortnite Reload stronghold—if you're brave enough for the early fight.
4. Lone Lodge
Unlike some of the POIs that will follow on this list, Lonely Lodge isn't what I would classify as a hot drop. Instead, it's a fairly quiet location right at the top of the map, surrounded by trees. While this means you may find yourself short on action, Lone Lodge is a quiet place to gear up without the threat of constant attacks, and because the map is small, you're not far away from the busier locations should you want to head into some battles.
3. Tilted Towers
I love Tilted Towers, and some of my favorite Fortnite memories are still ones made in this ultra-popular location. The nostalgia around the original hot drop location is strong, which is why it's a good place to land, but not the best.
Tilted Towers is full of weapons and loot, but it's also going to be heaving with enemies desperate to wipe you out. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you want to get straight into the heat of battle, it's the best place to be.
2. Retail Row
Retail Row is an odd POI. Sometimes when you drop there, the place will be crawling with enemies. Other times, you're the only one there. This 50/50 chance makes it worth the risk, as between the shops that line the car park and the houses beside it, there are plenty of opportunities to loot up.
Be careful if you rotate here later on though, as it used to be a haven for snipers who wanted to pick you off from a distance.
1. Pleasant Park
In the early days of Fortnite, Pleasant Park was my regular drop, and things haven't changed in 2024. There are plenty of houses to ransack in the search for weapons and loot, and the buildings themselves provide good cover from enemy gunfire.
Up in the northwest corner, rotation to Lone Lodge, Tilted Towers, or Lil' Loot Lake is easy, making it my top choice for where to land. It can be busy though, so be ready for combat.

Players who try to get into matches are being told that it "Looks like all the Battle Buses headed out are full. Give it another shot in a few minutes." Unfortunately, even if you leave it for a bit, trying again will see you hit with the same error.
What's causing Fortnite's "You do not have permission to play" error?
This frustrating bug seems to be coming from Epic's side, so there doesn't seem to be much that can be done at this point. It appears that the game is having issues with its servers, which are either overcrowded or simply not allowing anyone into matches.
Is there anything I can do to fix the error?
It seems unlikely that there's anything we can do on our end to solve this, but if you want to try some things, there are a few options:
Restart the game: Always the first thing you should try, but some players on X have reported that this is helping.
Restart your internet: This seems to be on Epic's side, but if you're desperate you could try to reset your internet on the off-chance it's actually a problem on your end.
Other than those, the sad answer is you'll just have to wait for Epic to get them back online.
Has Epic responded to this Fortnite error?
No, unfortunately, Epic have yet to address the issue, with nothing posted on their Fortnite Status account on X. We'll be sure to update this article if we hear from the developer.

With Star Wars taking over the game to celebrate May 4, both the Rebels and Empire are coming to not only Battle Royale, but LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and even Fortnite Festival. While all these additions are definitely welcome, for many, it's the cosmetics that they're looking forward to the most.
That's why plenty of Star Wars fans are so happy to see Chewbacca finally appear in the game. Arriving with his Wookie Bowcaster, players will be able to buy Chewie, but may be confused if they head to the Item Shop and discover he's not there.
How to unlock Chewbacca in Fortnite
To unlock Chewbacca in Fortnite, you'll need to purchase the Star Wars Rebel Adventure pass. This can be found at the top of your screen between the 'Play' and 'Locker' tabs. The Premium Track pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks, and instantly unlocks the Chewie skin.
Players will get two versions of Chewbacca: A regular version that can be used in Battle Royale and Fortnite Festival, and a LEGO Fortnite version exclusive to that mode.
Fortnite's annual Star Wars Day event is here, but it's not just battle royale that's going to a galaxy far, far away. LEGO Fortnite is also getting some intergalactic goodies, including a special set of Star Wars-themed Quests for you to complete.
Before the release of new modes like LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing, crossovers were confined to Battle Royale. These days, these special events happen right across the game, and give players new ways to get involved, like building a Rebel Base
