It's always been a tradition in Pokémon games that some creatures are only available in one of two games – but what are the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen exclusives?
Plenty of these exclusives carried over from the original Red and Blue (or Red and Green, we should say), but with the addition of new creatures from Johto and Hoenn, new exclusives joined that list in Generation 3.
It's a great time to dive back into Kanto, as we wait for more news on Pokemon's 30th anniversary and the elusive Generation 10 games
Of course, you could quite easily complete your Pokédex with the help of some cheats, but where's the fun in that?
So, for a quick overview of all the exclusives in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, let's get into it.
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen exclusives: Which Pokémon are only in one game?
Pokémon FireRed has a total of 23 exclusive Pokémon, while LeafGreen has 24 exclusive Pokémon.
With the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen ports to the Nintendo Switch, hopefully it will now be a bit easier to complete that Pokédex, instead of having to trade Pokémon in person all over again.
Here is a full list of the Pokémon exclusive to each game:
Pokémon FireRed exclusives
Here are all of the Pokémon that are exclusive to Pokémon FireRed:

Who is hosting the Future Games Show Spring Showcase?
The Future Games Show Spring Showcase will be hosted by Devora Wilde and Shai Matheson.
Wilde is best-known for playing Lae'zel in Baldur's Gate 3, but has also appeared in plenty of other major titles including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Split Fiction.
She will be joined by Matheson, who, among roles in Wuthering Waves, Dragon Quest XI, Xenoblade Chronicles and more, is set to play Batman in the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
More than two decades after first releasing on the Game Boy Advance, Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen are set to make a triumphant return.
The two games are remakes of the original Generation 1 Kanto games, Pokémon Red and Blue – or Red and Green, as they were in Japan.
And while the series has since made a return to Kanto in the form of Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, FireRed and LeafGreen have remained the definitive way to enjoy the Kanto experience since their release in 2004.
So much so that fans have been clamouring for the games to receive ports ever since the launch of the original Switch, with the console family seemingly being perfect for playing old Pokémon titles.
Thankfully, our prayers have now been answered, as both Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen have been added to the 'Coming Soon' section of the Nintendo eShop.
We even have a confirmed release date – Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen will release on Nintendo Switch consoles on 27 February 2026, which just so happens to be Pokémon Day, and Pokémon's 30th anniversary.
The games will cost £16.99 / $19.99 each, which seems a bit steep for a 22-year-old game, but is a damn sight better than dropping a few dozen pounds on a potentially fake cartridge from eBay.
As well as supporting local wireless play, just as the original did, support for Pokémon Home is confirmed to be coming at a later date, meaning players will be able to transfer their Pokémon from this game into later generations.
A special physical edition has also been confirmed for Japan, including a replica Game Boy Advance box and a set of glass balls containing the three Kanto starters.
While plenty of fans will have been hoping for a full remake of FireRed and LeafGreen, the prospect of now being able to play the original games far easier is a godsend, and will certainly inspire hope for more fans (me) that Pokémon Emerald might just make its own return one day.
Video game performer and part-time jester extraordinaire Ben Starr is on his way to Fortnite, the actor has confirmed.
It's been a rather spectacular few years for Starr, who, after shooting to prominence as Clive in Final Fantasy 16, has gone on to play the likes of Prometheus in Hades 2 and Balatro's Jimbo at various live events.
Now, nearly a year on from perhaps his best role yet as Verso in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Starr is set to join Fortnite's iconic The Seven as The Visitor.
In a post on X, Starr wrote "I'm joining Fortnite as The Visitor. I'm so excited to bring back this iconic member of The Seven. I imagine I'll be very normal about it," alongside an image of him gazing lovingly at The Visitor's in-game model.
This collection of intergalactic heroes typically poke their heads into the game during Live Events, helping put an end to whatever chaotic goings on are threatening the Fortnite world at that time.
Having taken a break from the story in 2022, The Seven were brought back in style during last year's Zero Hour Live Event.
The Visitor himself was first introduced to the game in the first ever Live Event back in 2018, but ceased to exist after being Chromed in Chapter 3 Season 4.
Starr's version of The Visitor is, therefore, a new incarnation, arriving from a separate reality.
Starr joins The Seven alongside plenty of other heavy hitters, including leader The Foundation (Dwayne Johnson), The Paradigm (Brie Larsen), The Scientist (Joel McHale), The Origin (Rahul Kohli), The Order (Laura Bailey) and The Imagined (Cherami Leigh).
The Visitor is set to make his triumphant return to Battle Royale Island in time for the upcoming Live Event, rounding out the current season in preparation of the start of Chapter 7 Season 2.
Whether you're years into a Career Mode save or tearing it up in FUT Champs, it's important to make sure you have the best formations and tactics in FC 26.
No matter your style of play, be that fast and aggressive, or defensive and counter-attacking, these tactics cater for everyone.
Of course, any tactic is only as great as the players using it, so make sure you load your team with some high-rated players and wonderkids.
But before that, we'll take you through our picks for the very best FC 26 formations and tactics for you to use in your own games.
Best FC 26 formations and tactics codes
Below are what we reckon are the best FC 26 formations and tactics to use:
Clicking on each of those will take you to the formations and explain what they’re good for.
5-2-1-2
One of the best tactics in last year's game, the 5-2-1-2 is just as powerful in FC 26.
Giving you five at the back to defend with (and sometimes six, if you count your Holding CM), this tactic focuses on solid defensive play followed up with lightning-fast counters.
Your three CBs defend narrowly, giving your marauding full-backs more opportunity to dart down the wings, supporting your forwards with crosses from out wide or through balls down the middle.
A two-man strike partnership up top with a Shadow Striker CAM in behind them gives you plenty of attacking threat, with the trio making attacking runs and playing off each other to create clear-cut changes to score.
Tactical Preset: Custom
Code: hs6DE6JnsjB
Formation: 5-2-1-2
Build-up Style: Counter
Defensive Approach: Balanced
Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
Left and Right Back: Attacking Wingback, Balanced
Centre Backs: Defenders and Defend, Ball-Playing Defender and Defend
Central Midfielder: Holding, Defend
Central Midfielder: Playmaker, Attack
Center Attacking Midfielder: Shadow Striker, Attack
Striker: Poacher, Attack
Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack
4-1-2-1-2 Narrow
The key to the 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow formation is its flexibility. It offers great potential for build-up play, with your midfielders pinging passes up the field, but thanks to their Player Roles, you can have them play a bit wider if you prefer to stretch defences.
Again, just like the previous formation, it utilises two strikers up top, but this time with a Half-Winger in behind, adding a bit of width in the final third. Alternatively, you could change your CAM to a Shadow Striker if you feel like you need a bit more presence in the box.
Depending on how you want to play, you could swap any of the CMs for a Half Winger, inverting one or both of your full-backs to overload the centre of the pitch and catch your opponents out.
Tactical Preset: Custom
Code: pwCtqtBxznF5
Formation: 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow
Build-up Style: Counter/Short Passing
Defensive Approach: Balanced
Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
Left and Right Back: Fullback, Balanced
Centre Backs: Defender and Defend
Central Defensive Midfielder: Holding, Roaming
Central Midfielders: Box-to-box, Balanced
Center Attacking Midfielder: Half Winger, Balanced
Striker: False 9, Build Up
Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack
4-2-1-3
This unique formation makes full use of Player Roles, defending as a 4-2-1-3, but transforming into a 3-3-3-1 with the ball. One midfielder drops back into defence, while your full-backs invert to fill the space.
Up top, your wingers act as Inside Forwards, offering space out wide while still being able to cut inside to shoot or provide crosses and through balls to your central striker, who will play as an Advanced Forward.
While you have to rely heavily on your front three and the CAM in behind on attack, the two lines of three behind them mean when you lose the ball, you can often steal it back immediately, or safely transition into a strong defensive wall should you fail to.
Tactical Preset: Custom
Code: BZdBinRRLHdR
Formation: 4-2-1-3
Build-up Style: Counter
Defensive Approach: Balanced
Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
Right back: Falseback, Balanced
Left back: Falseback, Balanced
Defensive midfielder: Holding, Defend
Defensive midfielder: Centre Half, Defend
Central Attacking Midfield: Playmaker, Balanced
Right Winger: Inside Forward, Balanced
Left Winger: Inside Forward, Balanced
Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack
3-4-2-1
The key to the 3-4-2-1 is defending from the front. A four-man midfield offers plenty of attacking support, and helps keep you safe centrally, but does leave your flanks somewhat exposed, so you want to force the ball into the centre of the park when you're on the back foot.
Up front, a Deep-Lying Playmaker and Box-to-Box CM offer some attacking threat from deep, while a more advanced Playmaker CAM is there to provide through balls to a Shadow Striker CAM and a Poacher ST who will hang around the box looking for a tap-in.
Because of the defensive shortcomings of this formation, you want pacy CBs who can quickly track back, as well as midfielders with great passing to ping through balls quickly up the pitch for your attacking trio to get in behind on the counter.
Tactical Preset: Custom
Code: f46F?txvpfzc
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Build-up Style: Counter
Defensive Approach: Deep
Goalkeeper: Defend
Defenders: Defender, Defend
Defenders: Stopper, Balanced
Right Midfielder/ Left Midfielder: Wide midfielders, defend
Central Midfielders: Box-to-box, Balanced / Deep Lying Playmaker, Defend
Center Attacking Midfielder: Shadow Striker, Attack
Center Attacking Midfielder: Playmaker, Balanced
Striker: Poacher, Attack
4-2-3-1 Wide
You can't go wrong with a classic. The 4-2-3-1 Wide is the most balanced formation here, offering as much defensive stability as it does attacking threat.
Your back four hang back with two Holding CDMs in front, making your team both hard to break down and protected from counter-attacks.
A Playmaker CAM combines with two Inside Forwards at RM and LM, who will make progressive runs both down the wing and cutting inside, dragging defenders out of position for your Advanced Forward ST to exploit the space and score some goals.
Tactical Preset: Custom
Code: 8ZUmCsUEGA4e
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Build-up Style: Short Passing
Defensive Approach: High
Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
Left back: Fullback, Balanced
Right back: Falseback, Defend
Centre Backs: Defender, Defend
Central Defensive Midfielder: Holding, Defending
Central Defensive Midfielder: Holding, Defending
Center Attacking Midfielder: Playmaker, Balanced
Right Midfielder / Left Midfielder: Inside Forward, Balanced
Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack

If you're looking to show of your progress in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, then you'll want to know all about Weapon Prestige.
In BO7, when you Prestige a weapon you reset your level back down to zero, but in exchange, you'll earn some nice skins that you can show off in-game.
So, if that sounds good to you, then here's a quick overview of how to Prestige weapons in CoD BO7.
CoD BO7 weapon prestige: How to prestige weapons explained
Weapon Prestige works differently to regular the regular Prestige system, in that there are only three Prestige levels to go through. These are:
Weapon Prestige 1
Weapon Prestige 2
Weapon Prestige Master
To Prestige your weapon, you need to reach Level 50 with that weapon. You can then choose to Prestige, resetting your weapon's level and builds, locking all Attachments apart from Optic Attachments.
Once you reach Level 50 in Weapon Prestige 2, you will unlock Weapon Prestige Master.
This will allow you to level your weapon all the way to Level 250, at which point you'll unlock the special Universal Camo.
Depending on the weapon, you may also receive a special Attachment and will permanently unlock all Attachments for that weapon.
The specifics change from weapon to weapon, but here's a brief overview of what you'll earn from each Weapon Prestige in BO7:
Weapon Prestige 1
Prestige 1 Camo
Prestige Attachment
Permanent Unlock Token
Weapon Prestige 2
Prestige 2 Camo
Prestige Weapon Charm
Permanent Unlock Token
Prestige Mastery
Prestige Master Camo 1 (Level 100)
Prestige Master Camo 2 (Level 150)
Prestige Master Camo 3 (Level 200)
Prestige Max Camo (Level 250)
Weapon Prestige Max Icon (Level 250)
All Attachments unlocked
Should you Weapon Prestige in CoD BO7?
Whether you should Weapon Prestige in BO7 entirely depends on what you want from the game.
If you want to grind for Camos, especially if you tend to stick to particular weapons, then it may be worth Prestiging your weapons to try and get the Camos you like.
On the other hand, if you don't particularly care about Camos, don't want to lose your Attachments or just can't really be bothered to take on the grind to get those Camos, then it probably isn't worth it to Prestige your weapons.
It should be noted that the XP you earn across all modes, whether that's the campaign, multiplayer, Zombies or Warzone, will contribute to your Weapon Level, so if you find yourself getting plenty of XP anyway, then our answer is "why not?"
After a long wait, Old School RuneScape has finally announced Leagues 6, dubbed 'Demonic Pacts'.
It's been a year since Leagues 5 ended, with Raging Echoes finishing up as one of the best Leagues yet.
Now, after months of rumours, we can finally start getting excited for the next edition.
So, when might Leagues 6 start in OSRS, and what can we expect from it? Here's what we know so far.
OSRS Leagues 6: Demonic Pacts release date speculation
At the time of writing, Jagex has not confirmed the release date of Leagues 6, but that doesn't mean we don't have our suspicions.
In the teaser trailer, released as part of the New Game+ showcase, the number 666 features prominently.
Now, this could just be a reference to the devil's number, but if we translate that into a date, it could translate to 6th June 2006, the date of the infamous Falador Massacre.
As such, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Falador Massacre, we predict that Leagues 6 will begin on 6th June 2026.
Either way, we'll be hearing more about it at the upcoming Winter Summit on 25th January 2026, so tune in!
What to expect from Leagues 6 in OSRS
For the moment, Jagex hasn't announced anything about Leagues 6, and all we can really surmise is that it will have something to do with demons, if the name Demonic Pacts is any indication.
What you can probably count on is more bosses, Relics, Combat Masteries and a whole lot of boosted XP rates.
Aside from that, expect that the region locking introduced in Trailblazer League will probably make a return once more.
Again, Jagex has confirmed that a bigger reveal of Leagues 6 will be taking place at the Winter Summit on 25th January, so we'll soon be finding out more!
It's finally here – Fallout has landed in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and there's plenty to unlock.
The whole event is styled after the Fallout TV show, since season 2 is currently ongoing.
Whether you're after the Power Armor Maximus or The Ghoul Operators, or one of the nifty new weapon skins, this is one event you don't want to miss out on.
So, if you're looking for help on how to unlock all the skins, weapons and more from the CoD BO7 Fallout event, here's what you need to know.
CoD BO7 Fallout event: How to get all skins, weapons and TV show content
CoD BO7 Season 1 Reloaded brings a bunch of new Fallout content which can be unlocked in free and premium event passes.
Everything in the free pass can be unlocked for, you guessed it, free! The premium pass, however, will cost you 1,100 CoD Points, or £8.39 / $9.99.
There are a total of 20 rewards to unlock, with 10 in each pass. Here's the full list of rewards in the Fallout event:
That means players will be able to check out the new South Park Mini Battle Pass for all sorts of unique cosmetics.
We already have some confirmed South Park skins, with Kyle, Stan, Kenny, Cartman and Butters all getting their own mech skins, and there will no doubt be some extra cosmetics to unlock on top of that.
The map is getting an overhaul as well, with the Wonkeeland POI receiving a big update, turning into Cartmanland for the event.
In terms of new weapons, the highlight is certainly the Stick of Truth Mythic, although what it actually does is yet to be determined.
Other South Park items are also joining the game, such as the Cheesy Poofs Consumable, which was first shown-off in the event's teaser trailer.
There will also be a brand-new Rift Anomaly for players to check out, called 'Everyone Kills Kenny'.
As well as all of this South Park content, according to the reputable Fortnite Leaks X account, we're set to receive a new Blitz update and map, new Reload loot pool, and some new and unvaulted weapons.
On the Item Shop side of things, we'll also be getting new pet Sidekicks, Jam Tracks, Icon Series Emotes, Car Bodies, Kicks and some new Bundles too.

How to redeem Marvel Rivals codes
To redeem codes in Marvel Rivals, you need to head into the options menu, select 'Bundle Code' and then enter the code you want to redeem.
You’ll find the options menu on the main page of the game by pressing pause on your controller, 'Esc' on your keyboard or by clicking on the cog icon in the top right of the screen.
Simply enter your code in the Bundle Code screen, hit the 'Use' button, and you’ll redeem it. Redeem your reward and you’ll be shown a preview of it before the game asks if you would like to instantly equip it or not (for new cosmetic items such as costumes, anyway). Codes shouldn’t be case-sensitive, meaning you can enter them in all caps or without using capital letters. The code we tried works like that, anyway.
We'll be sure to update this page when the next code(s) become available.
Marvel Rivals is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
And to show off a bit of your own personality, then you'll want to use some image IDs and music IDs too!

The iconic animation is set for a crossover with Epic Games' hit shooter, bringing with it South Park skins, POIs, events and more.
If you're excited for the event, here's what you need to know about the Fortnite South Park release date, and all the upcoming South Park skins too.
South Park returned from a long hiatus in 2025, but who cares about that when 2026 is the year it lands in Fortnite?
Fortnite has already seen plenty of iconic animated shows make their way into the game, whether that's The Simpsons, Family Guy or Rick and Morty, and now it's South Park's turn.
So, when does the South Park event begin in Fortnite? What's going to be included? Here's everything we know so far.
When is South Park coming to Fortnite? Release date confirmed
South Park is officially coming to Fortnite, as confirmed by a recent teaser posted to Fortnite's official social media channels.
Captioned, "Chaos, loading...", the post also comes with a confirmed release date for the event – the South Park x Fortnite event will begin on 9th January 2026.
In December 2025, X account HYPEX revealed that not only is a South Park collaboration on the way, but it's set to be a big one too (more on that down below).
What to expect from the South Park x Fortnite crossover: All South Park skins
The highlight of the collaboration is a set of five new South Park skins in Fortnite. These skins are:
Stan
Kyle
Kenny
Cartman
Butters (Professor Chaos)
Since they're all kids, these will all be mech skins, similar to the treatment Bart got in the recent Simpsons crossover.
These skins will likely cost 1,500 V-Bucks each, or be available as part of a larger South Park Bundle.
As well as that, it looks like Towelie will be joining the game as a Sidekick, although this has not been confirmed.
In a teaser trailer for the event, we also see a bunch of references from the show being added to the game, such as a Cheesy Poofs Consumable.
The map is receiving an overhaul, with the Wonkeeland POI being changed to Cartmanland, and according to leaker Hypex, will feature at least one new Boss.
There will also be a new Rift Anomaly, dubbed 'Everyone Kills Kenny'.
Of course, we would expect to see a few more cosmetics added to the game as well, including Emotes, Back Blings and more.
As one of the best RPGs in history, it's hardly surprising that fans are clamouring for a Fallout: New Vegas remaster.
We're heading there for season 2 of the Fallout TV show, so it would be the perfect time to announce a return, right, Obsidian Entertainment?
Well, for now, here's what you need to know about whether a Fallout: New Vegas remaster is in development.
Will there be a Fallout: New Vegas remaster? What the developers have said
At the time of writing, there is no confirmed news of a Fallout: New Vegas remaster, but that doesn't tell the whole story.
Back in July, VGC journalist Jordan Middler claimed via the Friends Per Second podcast that "there are multiple Fallout projects in development," before adding that this includes "the one that I'm sure you're all wanting."
He does, however, clarify that "it's not far enough along to say anything like 'you're going to be playing this game anytime soon'."
We got a bit more news in November, Bethesda's Todd Howard confirmed that the team was split between Fallout 76 and "some other things," which was later reported to be a Fallout 3 remaster.
Following up on this news, noted Xbox insider Jez Corden alleged in a Tweet that New Vegas "is coming too," although he provided no further details.
He followed up on this in January 2026, stating for Windows Central that, as well as an eventual Fallout 3 remake, we will be getting "Fallout New Vegas on top."
Furthermore, he implies that the remaster will be done by original developers Obsidian, stating, "I'm told Obsidian of Grounded, The Outer Worlds and Fallout New Vegas fame has four new projects, some big some small.
"Fallout co-creator Tim Cain also joined the studio a short while ago. I'm not sure if any of these projects are Fallout-related, but either way, it shows Xbox isn't taking its foot off the pedal when it comes to content."
Unfortunately, that's about all we know about a potential New Vegas remaster, and while both Middler and Corden are reputable sources, it is still worth taking any rumours with a pinch of salt.
As for when the New Vegas remaster could and would arrive, it doesn't appear to be anywhere near release, suggesting a 2027 release – perhaps alongside Fallout season 3?

What to expect from CoD BO7 Season 1 Reloaded
Naturally, as with any major content update, there's a huge amount to look forward to in Season 1 Reloaded.
The biggest addition is that we'll be getting three new Multiplayer maps, including one brand-new map and two returning ones:
Yakei (6v6 / 2v2)
Meltdown (6v6)
Fringe (6v6)
Zombies will also be getting some updates, with the Zarya Cosmodrome from Ashes of the Damned becoming its own Survival map, and the Astra Malorum map receiving a Directed mode.
In the Campaign, we'll be getting two new world events, though the only one we know about is the Wraith Wing, focused on a Guild aircraft with cloning capabilities.
On the weaponry front, we only know about two new weapons joining the game thus far:
Hawker HX (Sniper Rifle, FKA Ballista Sniper)
Sturmwolf 45 (SMG, FKA UMP45)

2026 marks 30 years since Pokémon first graced our screens, and The Pokémon Company is not holding back when it comes to celebrating.
This year is going to see all sorts of collaborations, crossovers and more to mark the occasion, so whether you love the game, TCG or anime, there's something for you.
Here's what you need to know about when Pokémon's 30th anniversary takes place and what's in store.
When is Pokémon's 30th anniversary?
Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary on 27th February 2026, otherwise known as Pokémon Day.
This date marks the anniversary of Pokémon Red and Green first releasing for the Game Boy back in 1996.
Since then, Pokémon has gone on to become one of, if not the biggest franchise in gaming, spawning endless spinoffs into film and TV, a card game and much more.
What to expect from Pokémon's 30th anniversary
On New Year's Day 2026, official Pokémon social media channels posted a teaser for this year's Pokémon Day, featuring Pikachu's original, chubbier design.
The caption, translated from Japanese, teases that "this year is going to be the best one yet," confirming that there's plenty in store.
The first major expectation players have, is that Generation 10 games will finally be announced, following a huge leak in October that alluded to 'Pokémon Winds and Waves'.
Aside from that, we do at least have one confirmed Pokémon game on the way, with Animal Crossing-like Pokémon Pokopia arriving in March.
Beyond that, Pokémon has already confirmed collaborations with several major companies, including clothing brands like Adidas and Uniqlo, new Pokémon LEGO sets, and limited-edition Pokémon TCG cards available in McDonald's Happy Meals.
There's sure to be plenty more where that came from, but for now, it looks like we're going to have to wait for Pokémon Day 2026 to find out the rest.
