Attack on Titan 3 announced!

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have revealed the third Attack on Titan game! It is (unsurprisingly) called Attack on Titan 3.

“Attack on Titan 3 is the riveting culmination of the action game series, depicting the story of Attack on Titan from its Survey Corps beginnings to its dramatic conclusion,” say Koei Tecmo. “Fans can ready their blades for combat against the Nine Titans for the very first time, while learning more about the characters and lore through brand-new story content.”

Further details for the game will be revealed with another trailer on July 1st 2026.

This will be more than just the final chapter, as Attack on Titan 3 will actually tell the whole manga and anime saga from beginning to end, aiming to be the definitive game for the series.

Koei Tecmo will look to take the rapid omni-directional movement to the next level, to create high-speed encounters as you look to take out the Titans.

Attack on Titan 3 will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.

Attack on Titan 2 was released way back in 2018 and we scored it an impressive 8/10 on our review.  Miguel said, “Omega Force managed to do something incredibly rare and impressive with their Attack on Titan games, they managed to make a totally brand new video game. Some trappings of the Warriors formula remain, but they serve to complement a fresh and unique core gameplay experience. I wish the involvement from my character in the story had been a little more significant, but the opportunities I got to mingle with the cast between missions more than made up for it. Attack on Titan 2 is one of the strongest anime video games I’ve ever played, not because of a perfect story mode or graphics, but because it creates a unique gameplay experience that could only ever be done with an Attack on Titan game.”

10 Strongest Characters With the Highest Battle IQ in Shonen Anime, Ranked

Brute force can only get you so far, even in a shonen anime. Even the strongest anime characters, like Edward Elric of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Tanjiro Kamado of Demon Slayer, rely on their battle IQ to gain the upper hand against dangerous foes. While overwhelming power can truly dominate a fight, intelligence will often determine how effectively that power is used.

Omega Force Working on Attack on Titan 3 Game

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced Attack on Titan 3, a new game that will cover the events of the anime and manga in full, at Summer Game Fest 2026. Initial teaser footage appeared during the presentation. However, it only focused on cinematic footage, so we don’t know how close it will be to the Musou and Warriors formula. More details will arrive on July 1, 2026.

GamersPrey shared an upload of the official Attack on Titan 3 game trailer from Summer Game Fest 2026. Note that if you watch, there are some spoilers for events that took place later in the series. Some of the Titans that came up later on appear too.

You can see the full SGF 2026 showcase below.

As noted by the name, there have been two Omega Force Attack on Titan games. The first showed up on the PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, and PC. That came out in 2016 and only covered up through Eren joining the Scout Regiment. Attack on Titan 2 showed up on the Switch, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, and PC in 2019, and with DLC covered through up to 90 chapters.

Attack on Titan 3 is in development for the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The anime is on Crunchyroll, and Kodansha handles the manga.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collabs With Attack on Titan for Naoe Ackerman Outfit, Potential Titan Boss

If you thought Assassin’s Creed Shadows tying up with Dead by Daylight was strange, Ubisoft has something for you. This time, it’s a collaboration with popular anime/manga Attack on Titan, which sees Naoe receiving a Mikasa Ackerman outfit and weapon.

Sadly, that’s not all. An entire quest is included, which sees Naoe and Yasuke venturing into the Crystal Cave – a perilous environment with dangerous heights. They’re apparently investigating a “terrifying experiment,” and what else should be teased but a potential boss fight against a Titan? The signature syringe and transformation animation certainly seem to indicate as such.

What is Yasuke getting in all this? Why, an armor set with Titan-like stylings, including a creepy grin. Does it make much sense? Not really. Will it cost a bundle? Most likely. Either way, new content is on the horizon, and according to Ubisoft’s roadmap, it’s live tomorrow.

Other new additions include Naoe’s version of the War Kick and Yasuke finally learning how to take down foes in a non-lethal fashion. There’s also “A Puzzlement,” which is supposed to be more lighthearted.

If that wasn’t enough, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch on December 2nd for Nintendo Switch 2. It won’t include Claws of Awaji, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
