Sonny Angel Company Dreams Shows Sanrio Hello Kitty and friends Hippers Figures

Dreams, the company behind collectibles like Sonny Angel and Smiski, announced it is teaming with Sanrio for a Hello Kitty and Friends Hippers peeking character figure line. These are items with an adhesive on their stomach that can be attached to electronics or household items to make the mascot look like they are peeking over the edge at a person. They will be sold in blind boxes for ¥1,430 (~$9) each, and they will appear in Japan on January 23, 2026. As other figures in the line from the company are sold worldwide via stores like Amazon, Kinokuniya, Miniso, or Teso, we should eventually see these everywhere.

There are seven characters in the Hippers Hello Kitty and Friends figure collection. As is common with blind boxes, with a purple version of Kuromi as a secret with lower rates of being acquired. (The odds of getting her weren’t announced ahead of launch.) Based on past Hippers releases, each one will be about two inches tall and feature sticky tape on their stomach that is pressed against a surface.

Here’s a list of every character in this collection:

  • Cinnamoroll
  • Hello Kitty
  • Kuromi (standard with black hood)
  • Kuromi (secret with purple hood)
  • My Melody
  • Pochacco
  • Pompompurin

Dreams and Sanrio also released a number of photos showing off each of the figures. Some of these show what the characters would look like in-use peeking at people on objects like picture frames or cell phones. There is also a photo showing what the adhesive looks like on the Hello Kitty version of the figure. The photo showing the box art and display also highlights what to expect when they appear in stores.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Gets Moppu From Marumofubiyori

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Gets Marumofubiyori’s Moppu

Sanrio and Sunblink confirmed the next mascot who will join Hello Kitty Island Adventure as a permanent character, and it is Moppu from Marumofubiyori. He is in the mobile version of the game on Apple Arcade via update 2.12. He will show up in the console and PC version too, though there’s no release window for him yet there. However, all platforms will feature the Frosty Fashion Frenzy login event between January 15-26, 2026.

Moppu follows Cogimyun, who showed up in the Wheatflower Wonderland paid expansion, and he’s a new free friend. You will need to have unlocked the Icy Peak area and completed certain story missions as a result to reach him. There seem to be new cabins in the area, and visiting him at his home will let you play a brick-breaking arcade minigame called Ice Breaker. There’s a new cooking station for making snacks. We’ll also be able to change our avatar appearance to look like bears. More furniture sets will appear in the patch, with those being called the Gamer Set and Moppu Cozy Set.

Here’s the full Hello Kitty Island Adventure trailer showing what Moppu looks like in his Icy Peak home and the other new additions there, though it doesn’t confirm appearances of the other Marumofubiyori characters Gyoniku or Kanikama yet.

There are also some initial screenshots showing him off.

As for Frosty Fashion Frenzy, this will be the third year the event will run in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Each time, winter-themed clothing is doled out for free. These are Daily Rewards, so all you need to do is log in to get the extra items.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available for the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC, and Apple iOS devices via Apple Arcade, and the Marumofubiyori update with Moppu is live on mobile now and coming to other platforms.

Hello Kitty Skyland VR Game Heading to Meta Quest Headsets

Sanrio and Thirdverse are preparing a Hello Kitty Skyland VR game for Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S headsets. Rather than a 1.0 launch on December 22, 2025, it will debut in early access. Additional elements will be added to it as time go by. The product page isn’t live as of time of writing, but will be available to wishlist. It will be free-to-play.

At launch, only a handful of elements from the full Hello Kitty VR game will be present. There will be one minigame to play, which is called Sky Dash. That will feature picking Sanrio mascots and running through what looks like an obstacle course in the sky. A lobby will also be available to explore. Players will get to make avatars and customize them, with costumes based on the company’s icons available. This will be a game with in-app purchases, but Sanrio and Thirdverse didn’t note if costumes and other elements will be among the add-ons we can buy.

Here’s the first Hello Kitty Skyland trailer, which focuses on the hub area, Sky Dash, and avatar customization on a Meta Quest 2 or 3.

New Cardcaptor Sakura Sanrio Plush Include Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin

2. Prosinec 2025 v 22:00

New Cardcaptor Sakura Sanrio Plush Include Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin Taito announced even more Cardcaptor Sakura x Sanrio Characters are on the way, with the latest four being a batch of plush keychains. These designs will head to Japanese arcades in the middle of December 2025. There’s no word on whether we’ll see them worldwide eventually or not. The four options in this collection involve two versions of heroine Sakura Kinomoto, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin. One version of Sakura features her with Cinnamoroll’s ears in her school uniform. The matching Cinnamoroll one has him in the same outfit. In the case of the Sakura and Pompompurin pair, both of them are wearing the costume from the second season anime opening “Open the Door.” Each one has a ball-chain keychain at the top and is almost five inches tall (12cm). Here’s how those look: It has been a few weeks since we’d seen any new plush from this Cardcaptor Sakura and Sanrio crossover. Ones of Sakura Kinomoto and Hello Kitty in Clear Card second anime opening outfits appeared in Japan in October 2025. However, there were some keychain pouches with the heroine alongside Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin that showed up in November 2025. The Cardcaptor Sakura x Sanrio Characters plush featuring Sakura Kinomoto, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin will launch in mid-December 2025 in Japan. The anime can be found on Crunchyroll, and Kodansha handles the manga.
