Judge blasts Zuckerberg’s team for wearing smart glasses inside court, but this has little to do with the actual case that’s spelling doom for Meta

20. Únor 2026 v 22:00

Mark Zuckerberg found himself on the stand yesterday, facing a lawsuit that claims Meta platforms like Instagram and Facebook are intentionally designed to hook kids. Before the real legal drama began, though, the judge had to lay down the law about smart glasses, specifically those snazzy Meta Ray-Bans worn by some of Zuckerberg’s team, as reported by Techspot. It seems Judge Carolyn Kuhl isn’t a fan of recording devices in her courtroom, and she made that abundantly clear.

The judge warned anyone wearing smart glasses that using their recording features would lead to contempt of court charges. She told everyone, “If you have done that, you must delete that, or you will be held in contempt of the court.” It’s a pretty serious warning, and it came after at least two people on Zuckerberg’s escort team were spotted wearing the Meta Ray-Ban glasses as they entered the building.

California Superior Courtrooms have strict rules against recording and photography. If you’re caught breaking these rules, you could face monetary penalties, get removed from the courtroom, or even be charged with contempt of court. It’s a big deal, and the judge wasn’t messing around.

This incident just highlights a growing concern with smart glasses: privacy

While Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses are supposed to show a blinking LED when they’re recording, it’s possible to modify them to hide that light. We saw a similar situation in August 2025 when a TikTok user shared her experience at a European Wax Center in Manhattan. She noticed her aesthetician was wearing Meta Ray-Bans, which understandably made her feel a bit “shaken.”

The worker claimed the batteries were dead, and the company later stated their employees keep the glasses turned off during appointments. Still, it just shows how sensitive the public is becoming to these devices and their potential for discreet recording.

Judge in Meta addiction trial warns that anyone wearing smart glasses, such as Ray-Ban Meta models, risks contempt of court charges if they use the devices to record proceedings.

— Pirat_Nation 🔴 (@Pirat_Nation) February 20, 2026

Back in the courtroom, the actual case, K.G.M. v. Meta et al., is much more serious than a smart glasses kerfuffle. This lawsuit involves a 20-year-old Californian identified as Kaley, who alleges that her years of using Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat as a child led to severe issues like body dysmorphia, depression, and self-destructive thoughts. TikTok and Snap Inc., which owns Snapchat, have already settled their parts of the case, leaving Meta to face the music.

During his testimony, Zuckerberg did admit that some people lie about their age when signing up for Instagram. The platform requires users to be 13 or older, but that rule hasn’t always been enforced in the same way. Plaintiff’s lawyers presented internal documents from 2015 that showed over 4 million Instagram users in the US were under 13 years old.

It’s interesting to note that Instagram didn’t even start requiring birthdays at sign-up until late 2019. Kaley, the plaintiff in this case, reportedly joined Instagram when she was just 9 years old. When asked why Instagram didn’t ask for user ages before 2019, Zuckerberg said it was due to privacy concerns. However, he never gave a direct answer when asked if Instagram was addictive.

Meta’s record-breaking $65 million political spend targets lawmakers friendly to this single controversial industry

20. Únor 2026 v 21:30

Meta is making its biggest play yet in the political arena, launching what’s set to be its largest push to back political candidates in the company’s history. This significant move comes at a time when the social media giant is dealing with a lot of negative attention and some of its toughest legal challenges ever.

The company is kicking off a massive $65 million effort ahead of this year’s midterm elections, as reported by MS Now. The goal is to boost state politicians who are friendly to the artificial intelligence industry, with initial efforts focusing on Texas and Illinois. This is a record-breaking sum for Meta’s election investments.

Company representatives have indicated that this huge investment is fueled by worries over potential regulatory threats to the artificial intelligence industry. Meta is looking to fight back against legislation in various states that it fears could slow down or hinder AI development. It’s a pretty clear signal that they want to shape the future of AI without too much government interference.

What’s really interesting is that Meta isn’t picking sides; they’re backing both Democrats and Republicans

They’re using two different super PACs to do this. One group, called Forge the Future Project, is throwing its weight behind Republican candidates. The other, Making Our Tomorrow, is supporting Democrats. These new PACs are joining two others Meta already had, one of which focuses specifically on California, while the other is a broader organization that funds the company’s spending in other states.

For years, Meta and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, have shown support for President Donald Trump, who, in turn, has pushed to stop states from regulating companies that invest in artificial intelligence tools. So, in a way, what Meta is doing now with this spending spree feels a lot like the bold, almost oligarchic behavior we’ve seen from other tech leaders who use their financial power to influence midterm elections and the political system more generally.

NEWS:

Meta is about to start a $65 million midterms push — its biggest political effort in its 20 years in business.

Meta is standing up two super PACs that this week will drop money in races in Texas and Illinois to push A.I.

— Teddy Schleifer (@teddyschleifer) February 18, 2026

However, I think there’s a unique level of public frustration directed at Meta and its platforms right now. You can see it in the numerous lawsuits they’re facing and the public condemnations from former employees. In recent years, the company has had to navigate various scandals where its algorithm-based platforms have been accused of being used to undermine democracy, facilitate child predation, and even incite violence, including in the lead-up to January 6, 2021.

Meta is currently fighting multiple lawsuits, some of which could be landmark cases. These lawsuits accuse its executives of knowingly creating products with addictive qualities that have been particularly harmful to children. The company, for its part, has denied these claims. Beyond the legal battles, Meta is also looking to expand its number of data centers, those massive, resource-intensive facilities that have drawn significant criticism from communities across the nation.

With all of this in mind, Meta’s decision to back candidates this election cycle presents a pretty big question for voters. It makes you wonder whether, and to what extent, people will support a candidate who is financially backed by a company that operates some of the world’s most widely criticized platforms.

New Xbox boss: "We will not flood our ecosystem with soulless AI slop"

22. Únor 2026 v 11:50

You may have already seen that Xbox has a new CEO, Asha Sharma, and she's pledged not to "flood our ecosystem with soulless AI slop".

The news was announced on the Microsoft website, and it's sparked no shortage of passionate discussion among the gaming community.

The fact that Matt Booty, a familiar face to Xbox fans, was promoted to CCO in the same announcement, doesn't seem to have dampened the discourse at all. These are very passionate responses we're seeing from Xbox players.

If you dig a little deeper into the Microsoft announcement blog, you'll find a lengthy statement from Sharma that explains her priorities for Xbox going forward. There's a lot of sense being spoken here, we'd argue.

There are three key priorities that Sharma outlines for her new regime - great games, the return of Xbox, and the future of play. She makes some good points in each section, in this writer's opinion.

Under 'great games', Sharma says, "Everything begins here. We must have great games beloved by players before we do anything. Unforgettable characters, stories that make us feel, innovative game play, and creative excellence.

"We will empower our studios, invest in iconic franchises, and back bold new ideas. We will take risks. We will enter new categories and markets where we can add real value, grounded in what players care about most."

Fans who want bigger exclusives from Xbox, and more frequent outings for their iconic characters like Master Chief, should receive some hope from that statement.

Under 'return of Xbox', Sharma adds, "We will celebrate our roots with a renewed commitment to Xbox starting with console which has shaped who we are. It connects us to the players and fans who invest in Xbox, and to the developers who build ambitious experiences for it.

"Gaming now lives across devices, not within the limits of any single piece of hardware. As we expand across PC, mobile, and cloud, Xbox should feel seamless, instant, and worthy of the communities we serve. We will break down barriers so developers can build once and reach players everywhere without compromise."

In this section, fans of Xbox hardware should note keenly that Sharma says "starting with console" before she mentions any other platforms. As much as Xbox has a big cloud business, there's still a core audience that wants an actual Xbox plugged into their TV.

View Green Video on the source website

And under future of play, Sharma notes, "To meet the moment, we will invent new business models and new ways to play by leaning into what we already have: iconic teams, characters, and worlds that people love.

"But we will not treat those worlds as static IP to milk and monetize. We will build a shared platform and tools that empower developers and players to create and share their own stories.

"As monetization and AI evolve and influence this future, we will not chase short-term efficiency or flood our ecosystem with soulless AI slop. Games are and always will be art, crafted by humans, and created with the most innovative technology provided by us."

There's no shortage of fear about AI taking game development jobs away from humans, so people in the industry should take some assurance from this promise.

Of course, it's easy to say something, but it's harder to actually achieve it. As this new era of Xbox begins, we wish Sharma all the best. If she can deliver on these promises, we're sure the discourse will change dramatically and she'll be hailed as a hero. Here's hoping that's what happens.

High on Life 2 wizard riddle answers: How to get full marks in the tax quiz explained

21. Únor 2026 v 18:07

If you're reading this, you must be stuck on the High on Life 2 tax quiz. This wizard (also known as Finance Wiz James Stevenson) sure does value fiscal prowess, am I right?

It's worth noting that you can bypass this quiz altogether - if you don't want to stand around and answer tax questions, you can walk straight ahead and solve a puzzle instead to gain access to the castle.

However, if you skip the quiz, you will be giving up your chance to get one of the High on Life 2 missable trophies. There's an achievement named 'Why do you know all that stuff?' which is only getable at this point in the game, and you'll only earn if you ace the quiz.

So, if you want to boss the quiz and earn that achievement, read on for the answers. We won't tell if you don't.

High on Life 2 wizard riddle answers: How to get full marks in the tax quiz explained

All the answers you need for the wizard's tax-based riddles are below! Note that, if you get a question wrong, he'll just keep asking them again and again until you get full marks. That is, unless you skip past him and solve the puzzle instead.

In part eight of my fifteen-part webinar The Grind Runs From You, how is nontaxable income defined?

Nontaxable income is income that is not subject to taxes, like some municipal bond interest or disability benefits.

In section 13Q of Pefie Truffet’s How to Get Rich on the Backs of Others, how are current taxable year fixed liability terms explained in paragraph F451?

Liabilities are what you owe other parties.

In section 27J of the galactic tax code referendum, what does it say under the capital gains header in paragraph R?

The gain may be short-term or long-term.

In section 318X of The Income Tax: A Study of the History, Theory and Practice of Income Taxation at Home and Abroad, what is the deduction example of adjusted gross income - aka: AGI - listed in footnote 12.2?

Interest on student loans can be deducted from your gross income.

In section 6Z of Tobin’s Spirit Guide & Accounting Glossary, what does it say about casualty loss in chapter 14?

Casualty losses are caused by the complete or partial destruction of property resulting from an unexpected event, such as floods, storms, fires, etc.

In section 93P of the accounting lunar law handbook, how are intangible fixed assets discussed in paragraph H17.5?

Amortization of an intangible fixed asset periodically lowers its value over a set period of time.

When you've finished the quiz, head inside and prepare for a big boss battle! One of them most memorable ones in the game, in fact.

Once this quest is done, you will have a few High on Life 2 bounties still to go, but your collection of High on Life 2 guns is pretty much done - that is, unless you haven't found the BALL Guys yet!

For more intel on High on Life 2, you could also check out our developer interview from before the launch. You can even watch it in the video player below, if you're short of things to do.

  2. Click into the box that says ‘Enter Code Here…
  3. Enter your code
  4. Select the ‘redeem’ button

  6. You’ll see a blue box pop up on the bottom-right, explaining what reward you’ve gotten
View Green Video on the source website

If the code you’ve used is incorrect, and you hear a very slight buzzing noise, that means your code wasn’t valid or has expired — the code redemption box will mention the latter, along with the ‘Redeem’ button saying ‘Invalid!’ if the latter is the case.

It can be quite easy to incorrectly enter codes in Roblox games, so try copying and pasting each code from this guide directly — so you’ll have no chance of error, since we’ve tested each Knockout code ourselves.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen exclusives: Which Pokémon are only in one game?

20. Únor 2026 v 13:59

It's always been a tradition in Pokémon games that some creatures are only available in one of two games – but what are the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen exclusives?

Plenty of these exclusives carried over from the original Red and Blue (or Red and Green, we should say), but with the addition of new creatures from Johto and Hoenn, new exclusives joined that list in Generation 3.

It's a great time to dive back into Kanto, as we wait for more news on Pokemon's 30th anniversary and the elusive Generation 10 games

Two classic Pokémon games confirmed for Nintendo Switch, and the release date is very soon

20. Únor 2026 v 11:52

More than two decades after first releasing on the Game Boy Advance, Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen are set to make a triumphant return.

The two games are remakes of the original Generation 1 Kanto games, Pokémon Red and Blue – or Red and Green, as they were in Japan.

And while the series has since made a return to Kanto in the form of Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, FireRed and LeafGreen have remained the definitive way to enjoy the Kanto experience since their release in 2004.

So much so that fans have been clamouring for the games to receive ports ever since the launch of the original Switch, with the console family seemingly being perfect for playing old Pokémon titles.

Thankfully, our prayers have now been answered, as both Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen have been added to the 'Coming Soon' section of the Nintendo eShop.

We even have a confirmed release date – Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen will release on Nintendo Switch consoles on 27 February 2026, which just so happens to be Pokémon Day, and Pokémon's 30th anniversary.

The games will cost £16.99 / $19.99 each, which seems a bit steep for a 22-year-old game, but is a damn sight better than dropping a few dozen pounds on a potentially fake cartridge from eBay.

As well as supporting local wireless play, just as the original did, support for Pokémon Home is confirmed to be coming at a later date, meaning players will be able to transfer their Pokémon from this game into later generations.

A special physical edition has also been confirmed for Japan, including a replica Game Boy Advance box and a set of glass balls containing the three Kanto starters.

While plenty of fans will have been hoping for a full remake of FireRed and LeafGreen, the prospect of now being able to play the original games far easier is a godsend, and will certainly inspire hope for more fans (me) that Pokémon Emerald might just make its own return one day.

Expedition 33's Ben Starr set to join Fortnite as latest of member of star-studded cast

19. Únor 2026 v 18:30

Video game performer and part-time jester extraordinaire Ben Starr is on his way to Fortnite, the actor has confirmed.

It's been a rather spectacular few years for Starr, who, after shooting to prominence as Clive in Final Fantasy 16, has gone on to play the likes of Prometheus in Hades 2 and Balatro's Jimbo at various live events.

Now, nearly a year on from perhaps his best role yet as Verso in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Starr is set to join Fortnite's iconic The Seven as The Visitor.

In a post on X, Starr wrote "I'm joining Fortnite as The Visitor. I'm so excited to bring back this iconic member of The Seven. I imagine I'll be very normal about it," alongside an image of him gazing lovingly at The Visitor's in-game model.

View oEmbed on the source website

This collection of intergalactic heroes typically poke their heads into the game during Live Events, helping put an end to whatever chaotic goings on are threatening the Fortnite world at that time.

Having taken a break from the story in 2022, The Seven were brought back in style during last year's Zero Hour Live Event.

The Visitor himself was first introduced to the game in the first ever Live Event back in 2018, but ceased to exist after being Chromed in Chapter 3 Season 4.

Starr's version of The Visitor is, therefore, a new incarnation, arriving from a separate reality.

Starr joins The Seven alongside plenty of other heavy hitters, including leader The Foundation (Dwayne Johnson), The Paradigm (Brie Larsen), The Scientist (Joel McHale), The Origin (Rahul Kohli), The Order (Laura Bailey) and The Imagined (Cherami Leigh).

The Visitor is set to make his triumphant return to Battle Royale Island in time for the upcoming Live Event, rounding out the current season in preparation of the start of Chapter 7 Season 2.

19. Únor 2026 v 17:35

Division Rivals in FC 26 sees some interesting changes being made to the system we've all become so accustomed to in recent years.

How Division Rivals works in FC 26 Ultimate Team

Divisions Rivals in FC 26 works a bit differently compared to FC 25, namely, by being less grindy and not as punishing. This is down to the new Bounties system, which can net you Rivals Points, Champions Qualifications Points, Coins, Packs, Season XP and even Stage Skips, and Duels, which allow you to net points even if you lose.

Bounties are similar to daily quests in Fortnite, in that they are small challenges that will net you rewards that are typically larger than the sum of their parts.

On the official Ultimate Team Deep Dive page, EA gives the following as examples of the kind of Bounties we can expect:

  • Score the first goal
  • Score the last goal
  • Win by two or more
  • Keep a clean sheet

Duels are special Bounties that can only be achieved by one player, such as scoring the first or last goal. Even if you lose the match, if there was an active Bounty on scoring the last goal, you would still receive rewards, making for a much less grindy experience.

With more rewards and Stage Skips, you’re likely to progress far quicker than you did in FC 25, and have more fun while you’re at it.

Can you be relegated in Division Rivals?

Yes, you can be relegated in FC 26 Division Rivals.

New to FC 26 are Limited Checkpoints, which are breakable checkpoints that will track how many losses you’ve had and will enable relegation if you lose too many matches.

Once you pass the threshold, you will drop a stage. This is intended to make sure you don’t get stuck in matchmaking purgatory, facing off against opponents who perhaps haven’t broken as many controllers in their time…

High on Life 2 BALL Guys locations: How to get the BALL Gun explained

19. Únor 2026 v 16:46

If you're playing High on Life 2 and you've spotted the unusable BALL Gun just chilling in your quarters, you might be wondering what that's all about.

This weapon was added in the first game's High on Knife DLC, but it's a little harder to get in High on Life 2 - because the BALL Guys, three little blue men who make it work, have gone missing!

Finding the BALL Guys will take some effort on your part, as they're all tied to different side missions that you might not stumble upon without knowing where to look.

These three little dudes will feed pinball-style balls into the gun for you, but you're going to have to find them first! The BALL Gun is great for crowd control, as it lets you drop down three pinball bumpers, enabling your ball to fly around between them and hit multiple enemies in a row.

We've got a video guide to explain the BALL Guys' locations in the player above (or you can watch it on YouTube). Use the time codes below to hunt down each of these BALL Guys and bring them back into the fold of your servitude.

  • 00:14 Ball Guy 1 location
  • 02:56 Ball Guy 2 location
  • 08:18 Get the fishing rod (you'll need it for the next part)
  • 10:03 Ball Guy 3 location
  • 10:52 Pick up the Ball Gun
  • 11:28 Ball Gun gameplay

Or if you prefer written guides, we've got you covered below!

High on Life 2 BALL Guys locations: How to get the BALL Gun explained

If you were hoping that you'd stumble upon the Ball Guys simply by the playing the story, think again! Each Ball Guy is tied up in a different side quest. We've got the key details below to help you tick off each of these jobs.

Ball Guy 1 location in High on Life 2

A screenshot from High on Life 2, showing the entrance to the club where Ball Guy 1 can be found. It is a brown building with a curved roof.

Ball Guy 1 is located in the Harbour area, specifically in the Town. Head there in the RV. When you land, turn right and you will see the building pictured above (a brown building with a curved roof).

You will need to use Bowie's special power to open the door and get inside this night club. (If you haven't unlocked Bowie yet, you don't have all the High on Life 2 guns you'll need for this job – you'll have to to push through the main story a bit more before you can tackle this side quest).

Once you're in the club, head into the far right corner and speak with the people at the DJ booth to start a dance-off. This Guitar Hero-like rhythm mini game shouldn't take you too long. You'll be given Ball Guy 1 as your reward for completing it.

Ball Guy 2 location in High on Life 2

A screenshot from High on Life 2, showing a grey flight of stairs to the right of a town square.

Ball Guy 2 is located Downtown, specifically in the City Plaza area. Head here in the RV. Once you land, go up the flight of stairs to your right (picture above).

At the top of the flight of stairs, turn right and walk in that direction until you find a taxi driver asking for help. Pick up his side quest to begin your mission to bring home Ball Guy 2.

The taxi driver will ask you to pick up some passengers and ferry them around town. You'll need to look around the Downtown area until you find them all (we counted six, and it didn't seem to matter that we failed with a couple of them).

When you're done, return to the taxi driver (he won't have moved from the first place you met him). He'll give you one final challenge, and once you've done that, he'll reward you for your Crazy Taxi shenanigans by giving you Ball Guy 2.

How to get the fishing rod in High on Life 2

A screenshot from High on Life 2, showing a beach scene with a big round building on stilts in the distance.

Before you can get Ball Guy 3, you will need to pick up the fishing rod (who is, of course, a living being called Rod). If you already have this, you can skip to the next section of this article.

The fishing rod in High on Life 2 is located in the Harbour region, specifically in the Beach region. Travel there using the RV, and when you land, consult the image above. You'll need to jump across this little bit of water to find the fisherman sat there.

Speak to him, and he'll ask your help to dislodge his fishing boat. Turn to the water, and use Travis's special ability to send the boat flying into the air. Once you've done this, the fisherman will give you the rod, parting with his best friend in the process.

Ball Guy 3 location in High on Life 2

A screenshot from High on Life 2, showing the Zoo map, with the player character being marked in the bottom-right.

Ball Guy 3 is located in the Zoo, and you can start at the Gift Shop to begin your hunt for him. Once you're at the Zoo, head to where the player is located in the map above (right down in the bottom right corner).

In the bottom right corner of the map, you will find a fishing spot. Settle down here with Rod, and keep fishing until you find a Ball Guy. In our experience, he was the third golden 'fish' that we found in this spot.

And if you're new to fishing in High on Life 2, our main tip is to jiggle both sticks on your controller when the fish is nearly caught. This takes some getting used to, but once you understand the process, it gets a lot easier.

Now that you have all three Ball Guys, how do you actually get the Ball Gun? Simply return to your quarters, interact with the tank near the white board, and pick up the gun on top of it.

You're now free to enjoy one of the most fun guns in the game! Hopefully, you agree that it was worth the effort. And if you'd like to learn more about High on Life 2, check out our big interview with the developers.

19. Únor 2026 v 13:02

If you're after some Monopoly Go Dice Links, then you're in the right place!

Dice Links are like a cheat code in Monopoly Go, letting you get some free dice rolls to help sweep up, and sometimes even some bonus rewards like Emojis!

When it comes to codes, we don't mess around, and you can check out our other pages for games like Raid: Shadow Legends, Cookie Run KingdomClash Royale, Genshin Impact and more.

Right now, though, let's take you through all the available Monopoly Go Dice Links!

How to redeem Free Dice Links in Monopoly Go

Redeeming Dice Links is as easy as opening this very page on your mobile device that has the game installed and clicking the links below. The catch is that you’ll need to hit level 15 first, which unlocks albums.

No codes, no copy and pasting – just click the link and you’re good to go.

It should go without saying, however, that you should only click on trusted links (like these ones here). Otherwise, you could be opening yourself up to more nefarious sites.

Don’t forget that you can earn dice in the game, too, by completing Quick Wins missions, opening the Community Chest, completing sticker albums and snagging the free gift each day. You can spend money on dice rolls, too, but the links below are totally free.

FC 26 best formations and tactics

19. Únor 2026 v 10:58

Whether you're years into a Career Mode save or tearing it up in FUT Champs, it's important to make sure you have the best formations and tactics in FC 26.

No matter your style of play, be that fast and aggressive, or defensive and counter-attacking, these tactics cater for everyone.

Of course, any tactic is only as great as the players using it, so make sure you load your team with some high-rated players and wonderkids.

But before that, we'll take you through our picks for the very best FC 26 formations and tactics for you to use in your own games.

Best FC 26 formations and tactics codes

Below are what we reckon are the best FC 26 formations and tactics to use:

Clicking on each of those will take you to the formations and explain what they’re good for.

5-2-1-2

A 5-2-1-2 custom tactic in FC 26.

One of the best tactics in last year's game, the 5-2-1-2 is just as powerful in FC 26.

Giving you five at the back to defend with (and sometimes six, if you count your Holding CM), this tactic focuses on solid defensive play followed up with lightning-fast counters.

Your three CBs defend narrowly, giving your marauding full-backs more opportunity to dart down the wings, supporting your forwards with crosses from out wide or through balls down the middle.

A two-man strike partnership up top with a Shadow Striker CAM in behind them gives you plenty of attacking threat, with the trio making attacking runs and playing off each other to create clear-cut changes to score.

  • Tactical Preset: Custom
  • Code: hs6DE6JnsjB
  • Formation: 5-2-1-2
  • Build-up Style: Counter
  • Defensive Approach: Balanced
  • Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
  • Left and Right Back: Attacking Wingback, Balanced
  • Centre Backs: Defenders and Defend, Ball-Playing Defender and Defend
  • Central Midfielder: Holding, Defend
  • Central Midfielder: Playmaker, Attack
  • Center Attacking Midfielder: Shadow Striker, Attack
  • Striker: Poacher, Attack
  • Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack

4-1-2-1-2 Narrow

A 4-1-2-1-2 custom tactic in FC 26.

The key to the 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow formation is its flexibility. It offers great potential for build-up play, with your midfielders pinging passes up the field, but thanks to their Player Roles, you can have them play a bit wider if you prefer to stretch defences.

Again, just like the previous formation, it utilises two strikers up top, but this time with a Half-Winger in behind, adding a bit of width in the final third. Alternatively, you could change your CAM to a Shadow Striker if you feel like you need a bit more presence in the box.

Depending on how you want to play, you could swap any of the CMs for a Half Winger, inverting one or both of your full-backs to overload the centre of the pitch and catch your opponents out.

  • Tactical Preset: Custom
  • Code: pwCtqtBxznF5
  • Formation: 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow
  • Build-up Style: Counter/Short Passing
  • Defensive Approach: Balanced
  • Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
  • Left and Right Back: Fullback, Balanced
  • Centre Backs: Defender and Defend
  • Central Defensive Midfielder: Holding, Roaming
  • Central Midfielders: Box-to-box, Balanced
  • Center Attacking Midfielder: Half Winger, Balanced
  • Striker: False 9, Build Up
  • Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack

4-2-1-3

A 4-2-1-3 custom tactic in FC 26.

This unique formation makes full use of Player Roles, defending as a 4-2-1-3, but transforming into a 3-3-3-1 with the ball. One midfielder drops back into defence, while your full-backs invert to fill the space.

Up top, your wingers act as Inside Forwards, offering space out wide while still being able to cut inside to shoot or provide crosses and through balls to your central striker, who will play as an Advanced Forward.

While you have to rely heavily on your front three and the CAM in behind on attack, the two lines of three behind them mean when you lose the ball, you can often steal it back immediately, or safely transition into a strong defensive wall should you fail to.

  • Tactical Preset: Custom
  • Code: BZdBinRRLHdR
  • Formation: 4-2-1-3
  • Build-up Style: Counter
  • Defensive Approach: Balanced
  • Goalkeeper: Defending, Keeper
  • Right back: Falseback, Balanced
  • Left back: Falseback, Balanced
  • Defensive midfielder: Holding, Defend
  • Defensive midfielder: Centre Half, Defend
  • Central Attacking Midfield: Playmaker, Balanced
  • Right Winger: Inside Forward, Balanced
  • Left Winger: Inside Forward, Balanced
  • Striker: Advanced Forward, Attack

3-4-2-1

A 3-4-2-1 custom tactic in FC 26.

The key to the 3-4-2-1 is defending from the front. A four-man midfield offers plenty of attacking support, and helps keep you safe centrally, but does leave your flanks somewhat exposed, so you want to force the ball into the centre of the park when you're on the back foot.

Up front, a Deep-Lying Playmaker and Box-to-Box CM offer some attacking threat from deep, while a more advanced Playmaker CAM is there to provide through balls to a Shadow Striker CAM and a Poacher ST who will hang around the box looking for a tap-in.

Because of the defensive shortcomings of this formation, you want pacy CBs who can quickly track back, as well as midfielders with great passing to ping through balls quickly up the pitch for your attacking trio to get in behind on the counter.

4-2-3-1 Wide

A 4-2-3-1 custom tactic in FC 26.

You can't go wrong with a classic. The 4-2-3-1 Wide is the most balanced formation here, offering as much defensive stability as it does attacking threat.

Your back four hang back with two Holding CDMs in front, making your team both hard to break down and protected from counter-attacks.

A Playmaker CAM combines with two Inside Forwards at RM and LM, who will make progressive runs both down the wing and cutting inside, dragging defenders out of position for your Advanced Forward ST to exploit the space and score some goals.

CoD BO7 Weapon Prestige: How to Prestige weapons explained

18. Únor 2026 v 17:59

If you're looking to show of your progress in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, then you'll want to know all about Weapon Prestige.

In BO7, when you Prestige a weapon you reset your level back down to zero, but in exchange, you'll earn some nice skins that you can show off in-game.

So, if that sounds good to you, then here's a quick overview of how to Prestige weapons in CoD BO7.

CoD BO7 weapon prestige: How to prestige weapons explained

The Weapon Prestige 2 menu for the Dravec 45 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Weapon Prestige works differently to regular the regular Prestige system, in that there are only three Prestige levels to go through. These are:

  • Weapon Prestige 1
  • Weapon Prestige 2
  • Weapon Prestige Master

To Prestige your weapon, you need to reach Level 50 with that weapon. You can then choose to Prestige, resetting your weapon's level and builds, locking all Attachments apart from Optic Attachments.

Once you reach Level 50 in Weapon Prestige 2, you will unlock Weapon Prestige Master.

This will allow you to level your weapon all the way to Level 250, at which point you'll unlock the special Universal Camo.

Depending on the weapon, you may also receive a special Attachment and will permanently unlock all Attachments for that weapon.

The specifics change from weapon to weapon, but here's a brief overview of what you'll earn from each Weapon Prestige in BO7:

  • Weapon Prestige 1
    • Prestige 1 Camo
    • Prestige Attachment
    • Permanent Unlock Token
  • Weapon Prestige 2
    • Prestige 2 Camo
    • Prestige Weapon Charm
    • Permanent Unlock Token
  • Prestige Mastery
    • Prestige Master Camo 1 (Level 100)
    • Prestige Master Camo 2 (Level 150)
    • Prestige Master Camo 3 (Level 200)
    • Prestige Max Camo (Level 250)
    • Weapon Prestige Max Icon (Level 250)
    • All Attachments unlocked

Should you Weapon Prestige in CoD BO7?

Whether you should Weapon Prestige in BO7 entirely depends on what you want from the game.

If you want to grind for Camos, especially if you tend to stick to particular weapons, then it may be worth Prestiging your weapons to try and get the Camos you like.

On the other hand, if you don't particularly care about Camos, don't want to lose your Attachments or just can't really be bothered to take on the grind to get those Camos, then it probably isn't worth it to Prestige your weapons.

It should be noted that the XP you earn across all modes, whether that's the campaign, multiplayer, Zombies or Warzone, will contribute to your Weapon Level, so if you find yourself getting plenty of XP anyway, then our answer is "why not?"

What are Golden PokéStops in Pokémon Go? How to catch Gimmighoul explained

18. Únor 2026 v 15:52

The Golden PokéStops of Pokémon Go have returned to celebrate Lunar New Year, which means it's your chance to catch Gimmighoul once more.

Since their introduction, players have been able to use Golden Lure Modules to turn PokéStops gold, but during this event, they may randomly turn into Golden PokéStops if you're lucky.

Plus, you'll also be able to catch a shiny Gimmighoul during this event, so you don't want to miss out!

With Pokémon's 30th anniversary this year, there's plenty to look forward to across the main series, anime, TCG and of course, Pokémon Go.

So, if you're looking to get in on the action and catch yourself a Gimmighoul this Lunar New Year, here's what you need to know about Pokémon Go Golden PokéStops.

What are Golden PokéStops in Pokémon Go?

Golden PokéStops in Pokémon Go are similar to regular PokéStops, but offer more rewards compared to normal ones and can attract more Pokémon, including a Roaming Form Gimmighoul when you spin the stop.

To turn a PokéStop into a Golden PokéStop, you have to place a Golden Lure Module on it.

You can get Golden Lure Modules by linking your Pokémon Go account to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and sending five postcards to the latter over five days.

To do this, you need to do the following:

  • Launch Pokémon Scarlet or Violet on your Nintendo Switch
  • Open the Poké Portal
  • From the menu, select "Mystery Gift"
  • Next, select "Connect to Pokémon Go"
  • On your phone, open Pokémon Go and open the settings menu
  • Scroll down to the bottom and select "Nintendo Switch"
  • Go back to your Switch and select "Pair with a Pokémon Go account"
  • You will receive a prompt to link your Pokémon Go and Scarlet/Violet account
  • Once linked, open "Mystery Gift" in the Poké Portal in Scarlet or Violet
  • Select "Connect to Pokémon Go" two times
  • On your phone, open the Postcard Book in Pokémon Go
  • Choose a postcard, then tap the hamburger menu (three vertical lines) and select "Send to Nintendo Switch"
  • After it has sent, wait until the next day to send another, and do this five times

It does not have to be five days in a row, but five days in total. After you've sent five postcards, the Golden Lure Module will appear in your Pokémon Go inventory

How to get a Coin Bag in Pokémon Go

To get a Coin Bag in Pokémon Go, you need to send one postcard to Pokémon Scarlet or Violet.

You can do this by following the steps above, the difference being that you only have to send one postcard.

Once you have the Coin Bag, you will be able to crack on with catching a Gimmieghoul, which we cover just below.

How to catch a Roaming Form Gimmighoul

To catch a Roaming Form Gimmighoul, you will need to open a Coin Bag to attract Gimmighouls for 30 minutes, which you get after sending one postcard to Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, or by heading to a Pokéstop that has been turned gold by a Golden Lure Module, where Gimmighouls can be found.

The latter is your only method if you do not own Pokémon Scarlet or Violet.

If you manage to catch a Gimmighoul, you will need 999 Gimmighoul coins to evolve it into Gholdengo.

Golden PokéStops don’t stick around for very long, however, so you’ll need to act fast.

The Witcher 3 legends explain their "very experimental" new vampire game, The Blood of Dawnwalker

18. Únor 2026 v 11:00

"It's very experimental," creative director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz revealed, "because not many games do this."

Before we go any further, please be aware that you can hear the full version of this conversation on the Radio Times Gaming podcast feed or YouTube channel.

Tomaszkiewicz spoke to us at the Gamescom conference about The Blood of Dawnwalker, the upcoming vampire game that he — and many other former Witcher 3 developers — have started their own company to build.

He was explaining the game’s time system, which will force players to make tricky decisions. There are a limited number of hours in every in-game day, and you only have a set number of those days to save your character’s abducted wife.

Tomaszkiewicz told us: "First of all, we wanted it to feel like the time matters. You know, there is this feeling of urgency to objectives. And we wanted you to actually think, ‘Do I want to do this? Or do I want to do that? How do I want to spend this resource?’

"At the same time, we don't want this artificial pressure that will stop you from exploring the world, for example, right? You do get clear communication from the game at every point."

Indeed, we did see this mechanic at play in a hands-off Gamescom demo. We saw that certain actions, like committing to a side quest, will spend a certain amount of your time, which the game flags to you nice and clearly.

Tomaszkiewicz said, "As you could have seen in the build, for example, the quest objectives tell you like how many time segments are you gonna spend if you're gonna finish these objectives. Sometimes, specific dialogue options can lead to spending time segments."

"We call it ‘time as a resource,’" Tomaszkiewicz added. He also clarified that, "Just standing in one place is not gonna cost you any time. So, the time is kind of waiting for you to perform these actions."

If you’re looking for a comparison point to make this system make sense in your mind, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz mentions Persona, and his colleague/brother Konrad Tomaszkiewicz points to the first two Fallout games from the nineties.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director and CEO of developer Rebel Wolves, chimed in and said, "Spoiler alert, but we're speaking about it in the interviews; your main goal in the game is to help your abducted family.

"And you know that, in some time, something can happen to them. And you cannot build the proper tension, and emotions, if you know that they'll be there forever. You cannot do, story-wise, this thing. That's why we added the system to show you that the clock ticks, and stuff will happen."

Coen in The Blood of Dawnwalker

"Our game structure is totally different than the games you know," Konrad Tomaszkiewicz added.

But we couldn’t help but wonder, what happens if you don’t save your family in time? Is it a full ‘game over’ situation?

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz teased, "We don't wanna spoil it for the players. I would say, we treat it more as a choice and consequence thing, than a game over thing. This much I can tell you."

We got to see a lengthy hands-off demo of the game, and the time-spending system did look pretty cool, although we're sure it will take some getting used to.

The game’s day-night cycle also impacts your gameplay options. By day, the player-character (a 14th century chap by the name of Coen) can walk around like an ordinary person and try to talk or punch his way through situations.

By night, he becomes a form of vampire with added stealth, traversal and combat options. But if you wait until nighttime to do everything, you’ll be wasting valuable time and your family will inch closer to peril.

It looks like a fun game, and we very much look forward to getting our hands on it. Watch this space, and we’ll be sure to bring you more coverage as the release nears.

The Blood of Dawnwalker will release in 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. You can wishlist the game now.
