All About the Games: Play Over 4,500 Titles With GeForce NOW

The GeForce NOW anniversary celebration keeps on rolling, and this week is all about the games that make it possible. With more than 4,500 titles supported in the cloud — plus 12 new games this week — there’s always something new to stream, share and discover.

The #6YearsofGFN fun continues with a community giveaway hosted on the GeForce NOW Reddit. Share in-game screenshots and memes to celebrate the anniversary for a chance to win prizes such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, a Thrustmaster HOTAS ONE flight stick and more  — through Friday, Feb. 20.

Gamers can also join the GeForce NOW community Discord to join in on more celebrations and events.

A Library Built for Every PC Gamer

GeForce NOW features an ever-growing library of over 4,500 titles that are ready to stream in seconds. From cozy indies and competitive shooters to sprawling role-playing games and strategy epics, the collection has something for everyone.

The GeForce NOW library spans popular stores like Steam, Xbox — including supported PC Game Pass titles — Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect and GOG.com, bringing together free-to-play hits and paid blockbusters in one place. Install-to-Play further expands access by letting members install Steam games opted in for cloud gaming, doubling the number of titles that can be launched through the service.

The GeForce NOW app has curated rows that highlight new releases, RTX-enhanced titles or popular free-to-play picks, while tags make deals and downloadable content easier to spot. Smart library syncing connects supported games directly into the cloud catalog, enabling instant access without downloads or hardware worries. Ultimate members get priority entry with powerful servers to jump into the action even faster.

Fight the Fog of War

Battlefield 6 S2
Every move matters.

Battlefield 6 erupts into its second season, “Extreme Measures,” taking the fight to contaminated terrain and distorted frontlines. A massive new map, fresh arsenal and agile air support redefine large-scale warfare — pushing squads to adapt and survive across shifting contamination zones and fog-laced choke points.

Drop into “Contaminated,” a sprawling German mountainside airbase where the psychoactive VL‑7 smoke twists visibility, strategy and players’ senses. Mask up and press through as helicopters sweep low over objectives for high-risk insertions and surgical strikes. Dynamic cover and ever‑evolving hazards keep combat unpredictable, turning every push into a brutal test of precision and squad grit.

On GeForce NOW, the battle starts instantly — no waiting for patches or worrying about download space. Jump straight into the latest content, fully loaded and always in sync, for nonstop action anywhere.

Game On!

Styx Blades of Greed on GeForce NOW
Heist now, sneak later.

Styx: Blades of Greed from publisher Nacon lands with a sharp tongue and an even sharper blade. Styx is back to doing what he does best: slipping through shadows, looting anything that isn’t nailed down and talking trash the whole way through. Tight stealth, devious tools and a world powered by precious Quartz make every heist feel like a risky, rewarding score — perfect for anyone who prefers a dagger in the dark over a sword in the spotlight.

In addition, members can look for the following:

  • Norse: Oath of Blood (New release on Steam, Feb. 17)
  • Diablo (New release on Ubisoft Connect, Feb. 18)
  • Diablo + Hellfire Expansion  (New release on Ubisoft Connect, Feb. 18)

GeForce NOW Turns Screens Into a Gaming Machine

The GeForce NOW sixth-anniversary festivities roll on this February, continuing a monthlong celebration of NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service.

This week brings even more reasons to join the party, as GeForce NOW launches on a new platform with support for Amazon Fire TV devices, and eight new games to keep the streaming going strong.

The new app brings GeForce NOW directly to select Amazon Fire TV devices, so members can jump into their PC game libraries on the biggest screen in the house using a compatible controller.

The Cloud Turns Up the Heat

GeForce NOW continues to expand access across devices, supporting multiple platforms with the latest additions of Linux. From PCs and Macs to smartphones, browsers and smart TVs, the cloud delivers high-performance gaming to nearly any screen, on more devices than ever.

Members tap into GeForce RTX power on the screens they already own, extending the value of their membership without extra hardware or complexity. That reach expands again with the launch of the GeForce NOW app on Amazon Fire TV.

GeForce NOW is powering up the living room with the launch of the GeForce NOW app on Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks, leveling up big-screen gaming with PC-quality performance.

GeForce NOW on Amazon Fire TV
GeForce RTX performance on Amazon Fire TV.

The GeForce NOW app on Fire TV is available now with initial support for the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) with Fire OS 8.1.6.0 and later and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen)with Fire OS 8.1.6.0 and later, and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st Gen) with Fire OS 7.7.1.1 and later, streaming at up to 1080p60 with standard-dynamic-range graphics using H.264 video encoding and stereo audio. Fire TV owners now have an even more powerful way to play on the big screen.

Connect a controller, open the app and stream favorite titles instantly with RTX power behind every pixel — no console required. Cloud gaming has never felt more at home.

Stories From the Ninth World

Torment Tides of Numenera on GeForce NOW
Words hit harder than weapons.

Torment: Tides of Numenera, inXile Entertainment’s story-focused role-playing game, puts emphasis on choices, characters and dialogue, mixing science fiction and fantasy into a strange, colorful world where every conversation and decision matters.

The adventure takes place in the “Ninth World,” a far-future version of Earth built on the ruins of incredibly advanced civilizations. Step into the role of the Last Castoff, a person connected to a powerful, mysterious figure, and get pulled into a mystery that asks one big question: What does a single life truly mean? Expect memorable companions, tough moral choices and plenty of odd, fascinating situations rather than a typical hero-saves-the-world story.

On GeForce NOW, this story-heavy experience is easy to jump into, no high-end rig required. Gaming sessions can pick up right where they left off across supported devices, making it simple for gamers to sink back into the Ninth World whenever the story calls.

Pixel-Powered Punch

Arcade icons and blue‑bomber brawls light up GeForce NOW this week with a retro‑powered surge from Capcom, featuring Mega Man 11, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Capcom Fighting Collection, and the Capcom Beat ’Em Up Bundle. Members can catch them in the cloud, reliving the glory arcade days and timeless showdowns — now streaming anywhere to members’ devices.

Mega Man 11 on GeForce NOW
Gear up, power up, save the future.

Mega Man is back — Mega Man 11 is the latest entry in the iconic series that blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh visual style.

Hadoukens never age.

Celebrate Street Fighter’s historic legacy with the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. In this collection of a dozen Street Fighter titles, four groundbreaking titles let gamers play with friends and relive the arcade experience through the online Arcade Mode.

Capcom Fighting Collection on GeForce NOW
Where legends throw down.

Capcom Fighting Collection includes 10 of Capcom’s most popular arcade games in one bumper collection, from series such as Street Fighter and Darkstalkers to Cyberbots and the first home console port of Red Earth. It’s the perfect collection for arcade veterans and newcomers alike.

Grab a friend and clear the streets.

Relive the glory days of cooperative arcade games with the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle. This comprehensive collection includes seven classic titles, each with various multiplayer options and online capabilities.

Time to Play

Reanimal on GeForce NOW
Twisted.

Reanimal is a twisted little nightmare that leans into creepy-cute horror with a co-op twist. Guide a scrappy brother-sister duo through a haunting, off-kilter world where every shadow hides something worse, every puzzle feels like a dare and “sticking together” isn’t just smart — it’s survival.

In addition, members can look for the following:

GeForce NOW Celebrates Six Years of Streaming With 24 Games in February

Break out the cake and green sprinkles — GeForce NOW is turning six.

Since launch, members have streamed over 1 billion hours, and the party’s just getting started.

Throughout February, members can look forward to new games, fresh ways to play across more devices and even more ways to bring RTX power to every screen in the house.

There’s plenty to celebrate: the February games list kicks off with 24 new games. Start with the 10 new games in the cloud this week, including the launch of Team Jade’s Delta Force and the newest title launching in the PUBG universe, PUBG: BLINDSPOT.

Reporting for Duty

Delta Force on GeForce NOW
The ultimate extraction.

Delta Force, now boots on the ground and fully deployed on GeForce NOW, brings the tactical first‑person shooter from Team Jade (TiMi Studio Group) to the cloud. The game features high-stakes extraction with an all-out warfare mode, giving players a playground of open environments, vehicles and gadgets to pull off coordinated assaults.

Players join elite units tasked with tackling high‑risk missions across sprawling maps, from tight urban incursions to rugged open‑terrain operations. Expect strategic objectives, combined‑arms combat with land, air and sea vehicles, and tense firefights where teamwork and planning are just as important as quick reflexes.

On GeForce NOW, Delta Force leans into its high‑octane personality: fast drops, big maps and cinematic engagements that look sharp and feel responsive across devices. Members can squad up from almost anywhere, enjoy high‑resolution streaming and smooth performance, and stay ready for every op without waiting on downloads or big updates before jumping into the next mission.

New Mission

PUBG Blindspot on GeForce NOW
Squad up.

PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a new spin-off set in the PUBG universe from Krafton, expands the franchise with a standalone 5v5 top-down tactical shooter.

Set across tightly designed maps, matches focus on information, positioning and coordinated team play, with squads clearing angles, locking down objectives and outmaneuvering opponents in fast, round-based firefights. Every callout and ability use matters, turning each round into a layered tactical puzzle rather than a simple test of reflexes.

On GeForce NOW, responsive streaming and sharp RTX-powered visuals keep every angle, rotation and clutch play feeling precise, even on lower-powered devices. With support across a wide range of screens, the cloud makes it easy for the gaming squad to jump right into the action, without lengthy downloads or updates getting in the way.

GeForce NOW Brings GeForce RTX Gaming to Linux PCs

Get ready to game — the native GeForce NOW app for Linux PCs is now available in beta, letting Linux desktops tap directly into GeForce RTX performance from the cloud.

Alongside the expansion comes ten new games, including The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut and The Bard’s Tale Trilogy for a leveled-up gaming weekend.

And operators can squad up in Team Jade’s Delta Force when it deploys in the cloud on February 3, bringing high-stakes tactical action to nearly any device with no downloads required.

Linux Just Got RTX

Gaming on Linux just got a major RTX upgrade.

Starting with support for Ubuntu 24.04 and later, the new app delivers a seamless native experience that fits right into Linux desktop workflows. It transforms compatible Linux systems into high-performance GeForce RTX-powered rigs, streaming supported PC titles directly from the cloud at up to 5K resolution  and 120 frames per second, or 1080p at 360 fps.

This new desktop-focused app goes beyond the earlier Linux experience that was tuned specifically for Steam Decks, which targeted handheld-friendly resolutions and up to 1200p at 90 fps. The beta Linux app is built for PCs and notebooks, offering an experience similar to the existing GeForce NOW app on Windows and macOS.

With GeForce NOW, rendering happens in the cloud, so demanding titles run on a wider range of devices. Experience how RTX technologies — including ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 4 and more — bring games to life with RTX 5080 performance from the cloud.

Linux PCs and devices join the GeForce NOW native app family that also supports Windows, macOS, Chromebooks, mobile devices, smart TVs and more — unlocking flexible, on-demand gaming anywhere.

Download the app today.

For more details, check out all knowledge base articles on the GeForce NOW Linux beta app here.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check on GeForce NOW
Trust no one, file everything.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check drops into the cloud this week, bringing the eerie isolation and grim decision-making of its Steam debut to any device powered by GeForce NOW.

Armed with advanced screening tools and instincts, players are put in charge of a critical checkpoint during a zombie outbreak — where one wrong choice could let the infection slip past the post. Screen survivors, manage scarce resources and hold back the undead. Holding the line is only the beginning — reinforce defenses and keep the camp alive as chaos intensifies with each passing day.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check streams at full GeForce RTX 5080 power for GeForce NOW Ultimate members, bringing razor-sharp visuals and ultrasmooth performance to every tense border crossing. Every document check, difficult decision and late-night shift in the guard booth hits harder with maxed-out settings and buttery frame rates, all without long installs or hardware worries getting in the way of the paranoia.

No trip through the Devolver catalog would be complete without revisiting its eclectic, chaotic hits already streaming on GeForce NOW. Check out Cult of the Lamb, Ball x Pit, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Inscryption and Enter the Gungeon — where every dodge roll matters and every chest hides mayhem.

Each of these titles showcases Devolver’s knack for daring design and unforgettable worlds — now all one click away through GeForce NOW.

Expect big, open environments to pick apart, a toolkit full of invisibility tricks, traps and clones, and plenty of chances to turn a quiet infiltration into chaotic improv when plans go sideways.

GeForce NOW Adds 9 New Games to the Streaming Service This Week

GeForce NOW adds 9 new games to the streaming service this week

After the electric atmosphere of CES, GeForce NOW has announced that Devolver Digital’s Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will be among 9 new games coming to the video game streaming service.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, Star Wars Outlaws, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon, Styx: Shards of Darkness, Styx: Master of Shadows, Guild Wars: Reforged, Mon Bazou, Tavern Keeper, and Waterpark Simulator will all be added to GeForce NOW this week.

GeForce NOW is a video game cloud streaming service made by hardware giant NVIDIA, which lets subscribers play games like Arc Raiders and Baldur’s Gate 3 on demand. The service also offers features from NVIDIA, like GeForce RTX and their NVIDIA Blackwell RTX servers for very fast streaming.

This week, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will be hitting the service. It is Devolver Digital’s newest game, where you take control of a checkpoint in a post apocalyptic zombie outbreak, make sure your outpost stays safe with upgrades, state-of-the-art screening technology, and first-person shooter action.

GeForce NOW adds 9 new games to the streaming service this week

One of the most notable additions is Star Wars Outlaws. This is the Star Wars game we all wanted as kids, incorporating criminal reputation mechanics, space dogfights, and a very cool droid partner in a galaxy-spanning effort to make one last score. GeForce NOW also introduces The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon, whichis a milestone entry in the Trails series, letting you explore the vast Calvard Republic as three playable characters that fight in both real-time and turn-based battles.

Two games from the Of Orcs and Men franchise, Styx: Shards of Darkness and Styx: Master of Shadows, have also been added to GeForce NOW’s library. The Styx games are a stealth lover’s dream franchise; both are successors to the 2012 video game of the franchise’s namesake. Play as the experienced goblin assassin, Styx, as he navigates the world with his wits, stealth, and magic, all in order to prevent the Elves and dwarves from enacting their dubious plans.

The legendary MMO Guild Wars: Reforged is an unexpected addition that has been remade for the modern age and modern hardware. Experience fighting warbands, rival gangs, and crossing inhospitable terrain in the world of Ascalon, perfect for scratching that MMO itch.

GeForce NOW adds 9 new games to the streaming service this week

Three indie games, Mon Bazou, Tavern Keeper, and Waterpark Simulator, are now all residents of GeForce NOW’s library. Mon Bazou is a My Summer Car-esque game where, in place of finland you survive and thrive in 2005 Canada by selling maple syrup deliver pizzas and more in your effort to build and customize your race car. Tavern Keeper lets you build, customize, and stock your very own tavern, although be prepared to fight the dirt, heat, noise, and sickness that come with owning a medieval establishment.

And finally, Waterpark Simulator gives you the full waterpark experience where you are the boss. Keep your attendees in line by making them shower, tazing the belligerent and stocking your stalls while customizing your park to exactly the specifications you want.

Enjoy these newly added games on GeForce NOW today, along with the upcoming native apps on Linux and Amazon Fire TV and the newly added flight control support.

And for fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator, you can also enter to win a T.Flight Hotas One MSFS Edition and one month of GeForce NOW Ultimate.  Just follow Thrustmaster and GeForce NOW on socials and repost the giveaway before January 24th for a chance to win.

NVIDIA is wrapping up a big week at the CES trade show with a set of GeForce NOW announcements that are bringing more ways to play and more games to the cloud.

From new native apps for Linux and Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks to hands-on throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) support for simulation fans and a new single sign-on option, GeForce NOW is expanding across devices and making it easier to jump straight into gameplay.

Topping it off, a new wave of AAA titles — including IO Interactive’s 007 First Light, Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem and Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert — is gearing up to join the GeForce NOW library for high-fidelity, low-latency streaming across the globe.

Get ready with the six new games available to stream this week.

Leveling Up Where Gamers Play

GFN family of devices
The family of GeForce NOW supported devices is growing.

A new native GeForce NOW app is launching in beta for Linux, starting with Ubuntu 24.04 and later. This answers a long-standing request from the gaming community, turning compatible systems into RTX-powered gaming rigs that can stream at up to 5K resolution and 120 frames per second (fps) or 1080p 360 fps. With rendering handled in the cloud, Linux gamers can tap into ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS and other RTX features without needing a local, high-end GPU.

Amazon Fire TV stick with GFN
Things are heating up: GeForce NOW on Fire TV streaming sticks.

A new native app for Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks transforms the tiny device into a big-screen cloud gaming endpoint, giving members another way to stream their PC libraries straight to the TV with a gamepad in hand. It builds on existing device support, making it easier for gamers to pick up and play from the couch without a console or gaming PC attached.

Clearer Skies Ahead

GFN flight controls
Cleared for takeoff in the cloud.

Flight control support has landed in the cloud, letting virtual pilots connect their favorite gear — including industry-leading Thrustmaster and Logitech setups — to custom HOTAS configurations. Whether locking in a full desktop throttle-and-stick rig or fine-tuning a split cockpit arrangement, everything’s ready for takeoff.

Paired with the incredible RTX 5080-powered performance available to Ultimate members, plus ultralow-latency streaming and NVIDIA Reflex in supported titles, pilots can now enjoy ultra-precise, hyper-immersive flight experiences straight from the cloud. Soaring over detailed landscapes in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, dogfighting in War Thunder or exploring the stars in Elite Dangerous has never felt smoother.

Easier Sign-Ins, Faster Game Time

GeForce NOW now supports new games — and more ways to get into them faster.

Gaijin SSO on GeForce NOW
Because remembering passwords is so last season.

Battle.net single sign-on recently joined the service, letting members jump straight into supported titles without juggling extra credentials each time. And coming soon early this year, Gaijin.net integration will make takeoff even smoother — one simple sign-on connects more game libraries across devices.

Fewer passwords and pop-ups mean more time playing — whether on a desktop, laptop, handheld device or TV.

Next Up in the Cloud

A new wave of AAA titles is headed to GeForce NOW, bringing spies, survivors and freeswords to the cloud for members to stream across their favorite devices. The games each bring a distinct flavor — from stealthy espionage to nerve-shredding horror and gritty fantasy combat — and they’re all gearing up to join an already-stacked GeForce NOW library when they launch on PC.

007 on GeForce NOW
Earn the number.

IO Interactive’s 007 First Light brings a modern James Bond origin story to the cloud when the PC title launches May 27, inviting members to step into the shadows as Bond begins his journey. Experience a balanced mix of stealth and action built around a “breathing” gameplay loop with IOI’s cinematic, set-piece-driven storytelling. Approach encounters through stealth, direct action or creative improvisation, with multiple viable paths to each objective that let players define Bond’s style.

Resident Evil Requiem
Welcome to the Wrenwood Hotel — late checkout is not recommended.

Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem continues the legendary survival-horror saga with a new chapter that doubles down on tense exploration, eerie environments and resource-tight combat. Expect dimly lit corridors, unsettling encounters and that classic feeling of weighing every bullet and healing item before moving forward when playing as Grace, and exhilarating, death-defying action when playing as Leon.

Active Matter on GeForce NOW
Everything matters in the cloud.

Gaijin Entertainment’s Active Matter, coming this year, is a realistic military shooter where players join dangerous raids for loot or intense player vs. player battles set in a fractured multiverse. Active matter can be harvested from active matter-transformed creatures or seized from other players. Join this never-ending hunt to improve the chances to find the way out of the time loop.

Crimson Desert on GeForce NOW
Open world, closed casket.

Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert is a stunning open-world action adventure set in a war-torn fantasy land, pairing large-scale exploration with cinematic storytelling and hard-hitting, combo-focused combat. One moment is a quiet ride across windswept plains, the next is a chaotic clash against towering foes with mystical power effects lighting up the battlefield.

Playing these titles on GeForce NOW means jumping into big-budget experiences with RTX 5080-class performance, high frame rates and advanced graphics features on a wide range of devices, without worrying about downloads, patches or local hardware requirements. Members can pick up the same adventure on a desktop, laptop, handheld device or TV, letting each of these worlds shine wherever and however they choose to play.

Hello New Games

Pathological on GeForce NOW
Welcome back to the plague.

The eerie world of Pathologic 3, from Ice-Pick Lodge and tinyBuild, invites players to step once again into a haunting town teetering on the edge of disaster. Time is fleeting, trust is scarce and every conversation feels like a test of loyalty — or survival. With its signature blend of tension, philosophy and dark humor, Pathologic 3 doesn’t just tell a story; it dares players to live through it.

NVIDIA Brings GeForce RTX Gaming to More Devices With New GeForce NOW Apps for Linux PC and Amazon Fire TV

Announced at the CES trade show running this week in Las Vegas, NVIDIA is bringing more devices, more games and more ways to play to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. Powered by GeForce RTX 5080-class performance on the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX platform, GeForce NOW Ultimate continues to raise the bar for PC gamers streaming from the cloud.

GeForce RTX 5080-powered servers are live globally for Ultimate members, delivering up to 5K resolution 120 frames-per-second (fps) streaming and up to 360 fps at 1080p with NVIDIA Reflex technology support for ultralow-latency, competitive play. Cinematic-Quality Streaming mode enhances image clarity and text sharpness for visually rich single-player adventures on nearly any screen.

New this year, GeForce NOW is expanding that performance to more platforms than ever, headlined by a native Linux PC app and a new app for Amazon Fire TV sticks.

Flight-simulation fans are also getting flight controls support, and members everywhere gain faster access to more games thanks to new single sign-on integrations and upcoming AAA titles joining the cloud.

Here Come the Platforms

Linux PCs and Amazon Fire TV sticks are joining the GeForce NOW native app family, unlocking new ways to play in the cloud across desktops and living rooms.

These new apps build on GeForce NOW’s existing support for Windows PCs, macOS, Chromebooks, mobile devices, smart TVs, virtual-reality devices and handhelds, all tapping into the same GeForce RTX 5080-class performance wherever members log in.

GeForce NOW on Linux
Turn your Linux PC into an RTX gaming rig.

A new native GeForce NOW app for Linux PCs, supported with Ubuntu 24.04 and later distributions, answers one of the top requests from the PC gaming community. Linux users can transform their compatible systems into GeForce RTX-powered gaming rigs, streaming supported PC titles from the cloud at up to 5K and 120 fps or 1080p 360 fps.

With rendering handled in the cloud, high-end PC gaming is possible on Linux operating systems, breathing new life into older devices. Members can enjoy ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 4 and other RTX technologies without needing a local high-performance GPU. The app is designed to bring a seamless, native experience that fits naturally into Linux desktop workflows while giving access to the expansive GeForce NOW library, turning everyday Linux devices into RTX gaming powerhouses.

The app is expected to enter a beta release early this year.

GeForce NOW on Amazon Fire TV
Game on in the living room.

A new native GeForce NOW app for select Amazon Fire TV sticks — starting with the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) — can bring RTX-powered PC gaming to another big screen in the home. Members can stream their compatible PC game libraries directly to Fire TV-connected displays to turn a compact streaming stick into a powerful cloud gaming rig.

With support for gamepads and GeForce NOW’s familiar interface, Fire TV users can jump into their favorite supported games without a console or gaming PC attached to the TV. This builds on existing TV support and helps make GeForce NOW the easiest way to bring high-performance PC gaming into the living room.

The app is expected to be available in countries where compatible Amazon Fire TV sticks and GeForce NOW are offered and will be launching early this year.

Take Flight

Flight control support on GeForce NOW
No fight, just flight in the cloud.

GeForce NOW turns more devices into powerful cloud gaming rigs, and CES this year brings another of the community’s most-requested additions.

Simulation fans are getting a major upgrade with flight controls support on GeForce NOW. Popular flight sticks and throttle systems from leading brands such as Thrustmaster and Logitech can be used as affixed hands-on throttle-and-stick desktop units or as separately mounted stick-and-throttle setups for custom cockpits.

Combined with RTX 5080 performance, ultralow-latency streaming and NVIDIA Reflex in supported titles, flight controls let virtual pilots experience greater precision and deeper immersion in their favorite flight- and space-simulation games — including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Elite Dangerous and War Thunder. Members can build out detailed simulation setups at home while streaming the heavy lifting from the cloud when it launches early this year..

Blockbusters in the Cloud

The GeForce NOW catalog includes thousands of supported games from top PC stores like Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox and others, with more joining every week. Backed by RTX 5080-class performance, members can stream everything from competitive shooters to expansive role-playing games with high frame rates, advanced graphics features and low latency.

New AAA titles such as IO Interactive’s 007 First Light, Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem, Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert, and Gaijin Entertainment’s Active Matter are coming to GeForce NOW when they launch on PC, adding to an already robust lineup of new releases and fan favorites.

GeForce NOW is also making it faster to jump into gaming with new account and platform integrations. Recent updates introduced Battle.net automatic sign-in, letting members connect their accounts and access supported titles more quickly.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, Path Tracing and G-SYNC Pulsar Supercharge Gameplay With Enhanced Performance and Visuals

At the CES trade show, NVIDIA today announced DLSS 4.5, which introduces Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, a new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode and a second-generation transformer model for DLSS Super Resolution, so gamers can experience the latest and greatest titles with enhanced performance and visuals.

Over 250 games and apps now support NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology, with this year’s biggest titles adding support, including 007 First Light, Phantom Blade Zero, PRAGMATA and Resident Evil Requiem at launch.

In addition, RTX Remix Logic debuted, expanding the capabilities of the Remix modding platform to enable modders to trigger dynamic graphics effects throughout a game based on real-time game events.

Plus, NVIDIA ACE technology demonstrated in Total War: PHARAOH showcases how AI can assist players in navigating the complexities of the game’s many systems and mechanics.

In PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG Ally powered by NVIDIA ACE adds long-term memory, evolving its intelligence and capabilities.

And G-SYNC Pulsar monitors are available this week, delivering a tear-free experience together with a perceived 1,000Hz+ effective motion clarity and G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology — all setting a new gold standard for gamers.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Will Power 4K 240Hz Path-Traced Gaming

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 introduces Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and a new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode.

DLSS 4.5 can generate up to five additional frames per traditionally rendered frame, dynamically boosting performance and enabling 240+ frames-per-second gaming with path tracing using GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. This delivers the smoothest gameplay experiences yet. Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and 6X Multi-Frame Generation are expected to be available in spring of this year.

A second-generation transformer model for DLSS Super Resolution also arrives with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, bringing state-of-the-art image quality to over 400 games and apps for all GeForce RTX GPUs. The second-generation transformer is available to try now via the NVIDIA App for all GeForce RTX GPUs. Learn more.

Over 250 DLSS 4 Games and Apps Available Now

DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation launched at CES last year with 75 games and apps supported. Now, more than 250 games and apps are supported, including 2025’s most-played titles, such as ARC Raiders, Battlefield 6, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Where Winds Meet.

New and upgraded titles announced today that will support the latest GeForce RTX technologies include 007 First Light, Active Matter, DEFECT, Phantom Blade Zero, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem and Screamer. Learn more.

Next-Generation G-SYNC Pulsar Gaming Monitors Available Now

The launch of G-SYNC in 2013 revolutionized displays and gaming, introducing Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology that all major display manufacturers now incorporate. This meant gamers no longer had to experience screen-tearing glitches when optimizing for responsive gameplay.

G-SYNC Pulsar displays mark the latest evolution of NVIDIA’s pioneering VRR technology. Through the invention of variable frequency backlight strobing, they deliver effective motion clarity of over 1,000Hz, significantly increasing the clarity and visibility of content in motion so gamers can track targets with increased precision and maintain consistent smoothness in gameplay.

In addition, new G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology uses a built-in light sensor, letting users automatically tune color temperature and brightness for optimal viewing at any hour, day or night. Learn more.

RTX Remix Logic Brings Dynamic Graphics Effects to Classic Games

Many iconic PC games remain beloved for their unforgettable stories, characters and gameplay. However, as technology advances, their visuals can become dated, making it harder for gamers to immerse themselves in the titles.

NVIDIA RTX Remix, a modding platform for RTX AI PCs built to reimagine the graphics of these timeless classics with cutting-edge path tracing, lets longtime fans relive their favorite adventures in stunning visual detail, while opening opportunities for a new wave of players.

A new RTX Remix update — RTX Remix Logic — will be available later this month via the NVIDIA App. Remix Logic is a logic system for making RTX Remix mods visually reactive to the moment-to-moment, in-game action, equipping modders with 900+ configurable settings to trigger dynamic graphics effects based on a wide variety of in-game events.

Historically, modifying a game’s graphics in response to real-time game events was restricted to those with source code or engine access. RTX Remix eliminates this barrier so modders can customize visuals across 165+ classic games without touching the original engine code. Learn more.

NVIDIA ACE Powers New AI Teammates and Advisors

Non-playable characters (NPCs) traditionally follow strict rules designed to provide scripted interactions with players. NVIDIA is expanding the NVIDIA ACE suite of AI technologies to turn conversational NPCs into autonomous game characters that use AI to perceive, plan and act like human players.

Creative Assembly, creator of the award-winning Total War franchise, is experimenting with NVIDIA ACE in Total War: PHARAOH to power a new, dynamic AI advisor that assists players in learning the game’s many systems and mechanics.

By processing the player’s prompts, current game state and data retrieved from the game’s complex database, the advisor delivers real-time, context-aware guidance that adapts to what the player is doing, while staying in-character and faithful to the game’s lore and time period.

KRAFTON is adding long-term memory for PUBG Ally — an NVIDIA ACE-powered AI teammate in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS that allows players to issue commands and communicate plans of attack or other tactical maneuvers with each other.

With long-term memory, the Ally can remember previous performances and gameplay interactions, and inject commentary into their responses that refers to past events. PUBG Ally will initially be released as part of a limited-time user test event in the first half of this year via PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Arcade for players using English, Korean or Chinese.

Grab a cozy spot, queue up a game and ring in the new year with GeForce NOW, starting with a fresh list of 14 titles coming to the cloud this January, with 5 available to stream this week..

Put a Bow on It

The star upgrade of 2025 was the arrival of NVIDIA Blackwell RTX in the cloud, bringing GeForce RTX 5080 power to the GeForce NOW Ultimate membership tier along with all the NVIDIA technologies that 50 Series GPU owners have access to, including DLSS 4 and 5K 120 frames-per-second (fps) streaming.

“The amazing announcement of the RTX 5080 being added to GeForce NOW with features like DLSS 4 and 5K 120 fps streaming was a true game-changer for cloud gaming,” said Nads from Cloud&Console.

Luna, a GeForce NOW Discord community modder, called out how the Ultimate tier let her go topside in ARC Raiders and explore Castor Woods in Dying Light: The Beast “in areas where my local machine struggles — and now, the RTX 5080-powered cloud can push them even further.”

GeForce NOW had major day-and-date launches of blockbuster titles including ARC Raiders and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 — and the community packed in some unforgettable sessions to celebrate. Nads summed up the smoothness: “Vaulting into Borderlands 4, surviving Grounded with friends and diving into Battlefield 6 chaos — all of it was seamless on GeForce NOW this year.”

For Warwick, cloud gaming turned into a superpower: “I’ve always struggled to play Fortnite with my friends while streaming, but with GeForce NOW, I’ve been able to jump straight in with ease and get those victory royales,” the gamer said. One highlight of their year was seeing “all the incredible things coming to GeForce NOW at Gamescom, including Fortnite with Discord — game changer!”

Steam Deck on GeForce NOW
Full steam ahead with the cloud.

2025 belonged to members who play literally anywhere. The native GeForce NOW app elevated gaming on Steam Deck, making it easier than ever to play the cloud gaming platform’s 2,000+ supported games from Steam, Epic Games Store, Game Pass and more — all at GeForce RTX quality on the handheld device.

Anytime Anywhere Gaming gave a shoutout to “the release of ARC Raiders and continued Steam Deck support,” calling it “nothing short of amazing” to take on raiders and play beloved titles on Steam Deck “at max fidelity.”

The Install-to-Play feature brought even more titles to members. “Install-to-Play has brought in so many games,” said creator Cloudy With Games. “Take a gamble on Slots and Daggers, it’s worth it.”

I2P on GeForce NOW
Installing fun, please stand by.

And GeForce NOW is bringing members a new way to jump into the worlds of some of the most iconic games. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, with more to come.

That’s not all: Battle.net single sign-on is now live, making it easier than ever for members to leap into Overwatch 2, Diablo IV and other titles without multiple logins. Link once and play instantly, no matter the device.

Plus, the GeForce NOW Community Video Contest is rolling on — creators are decking the halls with epic clips and their merriest cloud gaming moments from all over the world. There’s still time to jump in with a clip of a favorite game or a memorable match. Half-Price Holiday

Half Off Holiday sale on GFN
Wrap up the year with half off.

The holiday season continues with more ways to play. Even after Black Friday, GeForce NOW is keeping the celebration going with its “Half-Price Holiday” offer.

For a limited time, premium memberships are half off for the first month. Performance and Ultimate tiers unlock shorter queue times, longer gaming sessions and access to more than 2,000 additional Install-to-Play titles powered by GeForce RTX in the cloud.

The “Half-Price Holiday” sale is the perfect opportunity to experience premium gaming at a fraction of the cost and keep the winter gaming streak alive. The sale wraps up on Tuesday, Dec. 30, while supplies last, so now’s the time to lock in that first month at half off and head into the new year with the GeForce NOW premium experience.

Auto Sign-In, Auto Win

Battle.net SSO on GFN
One login, endless worlds.

GeForce NOW is making it easier than ever for members to jump into games from Blizzard Entertainment, Activision and more. Starting today, members can link their Battle.net accounts directly to GeForce NOW for automatic single sign-on across all supported devices.

After a quick one-time setup, members are automatically logged in for future cloud gaming sessions — no extra steps, no password juggling, just instant access to Battle.net favorites like Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV.

The update expands on existing automatic login support for Xbox, Epic Games and Ubisoft, further streamlining the GeForce NOW cloud gaming experience. Whether at home or on the go, members can enjoy faster, simpler, smoother access to the games they love.

A Very GeForce NOW December

Octopath Traveler 0 on GFN
Eight travelers, one very GeForce NOW cloud.

Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler 0 brings the series’ signature wanderlust and quiet drama back to Orsterra, this time with a fresh cast and a few extra tricks up each traveler’s sleeve. The prequel leans into sharp character banter, devious Path Actions and choices that can charm, swindle or strong-arm just about anyone in the way. Expect rich pixel art, big feelings and plenty of scheming as players embark on an adventure of their own creation, navigating revenge and restoration.

Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition

Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas again, and to help readers come up with ideas for friends and family who hit the controller hard, we at CGMagazine have compiled our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition, filled with great gifts for gamers for the holiday season, so you don’t have to.

With the busy season upon us, CGMagazine has gathered a list of the latest and greatest gaming innovations, so consumers can focus on buying rather than searching for ‘that perfect something’ to make the holiday legendary for family and friends alike. Our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition has all the components, accessories, and gadgets consumers need to make Christmas a success behind the sticks and in front of the TV for the upcoming year.

Gaming Laptops

Alienware 18 Area-51 Gaming Laptop Review

With innovations in gaming laptops becoming increasingly refined each year, it might be time to re-up on hardware for that special someone who still can’t escape their backlog of games. Let’s face it, there’s nothing quite like unboxing a new gaming system, whether PC or console, and giving loved ones a reason to pop the lid on a new PC could be the idea that makes you the coolest parent in the room (or the most punchable).

CGM has spent 2025 testing and reviewing the latest laptop innovations to bring readers the cream of the crop in gaming laptops. Whether that special someone is looking for a lightweight option or a desktop replacement, the Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition has your six.

  • Coming equipped with a double whammy of the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and a robust GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, the Lenovo Legion 9i 18 offers a well-balanced high-end laptop platform that provides a lot of power under the hood for a reasonable cost.
  • For a more budget-friendly option, the MSI Katana 15 HX series offers a performance-level gaming laptop experience without breaking the bank. The Katana 15 HX has no issues running load-heavy experiences at 60fps, while also delivering solid visuals.
  • For a gaming laptop outfitted as a “jack of all trades,” the HP Victus 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop could be the right option for users who want high multitasking performance and adaptability for multiple functions.
  • For an out-of-this-world gaming laptop experience (and for those who don’t have a price limit), the Alienware 18 Area-51 Gaming Laptop “could handle just about anything” thrown at it on “the highest settings” without breaking a sweat.
  • For those who want another option that is more tablet than laptop (but still has gaming features), the REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet could suffice for those who don’t need a keyboard (but can use one if needed). The REDMAGIC Astra gives gamers another lightweight option to tote around when the PC stays at home.

Handheld Gaming

ROG Xbox Ally Handheld Review

The latest handheld gaming craze is here, and what started with the Steam Deck handheld PC experience has now branched into multiple platforms with different designs and tailored experiences for the more avid gamer who needs to stay in the game even when out of the home. CGMagazine has been putting these new handheld PCs through the wringer to determine which is worth playing on (from VR to Legion), and the Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition has provided answers to the question “which handheld device should I get?” without being asked.

  • For the latest in the ROG Ally series of handheld gaming PCs, they’ve teamed up with Xbox to bring Xbox branding to the handheld capabilities of the ROG Ally and the ROG Ally X. For the Xbox fans in families that have been extra good this year, the Xbox Ally is a game changer, letting gamers take their console out of the house without the extra weight and need for a display.
  • The upgraded version of the first-to-market modern handheld gaming PC, the Steam Deck OLED, is also a solid option for PC gamers who ‘have everything.’ With an updated display and more customization options, the Steam Deck is a device that can adapt to many scenarios, including outdoor use.
  • The updated version of the Lenovo Legion Go, the Lenovo Legion Go 2, comes complete with an updated processor, GPU and RAM but retains a similar size and shape to the original. Lenovo has reworked the overall user experience of the original Legion Go (while carrying over many of the features that made the Legion Go such a unique handheld) to make a true sequel, and a great option in handheld gaming.
  • For those who have openly wanted a VR headset, the Christmas Gift Guide 2025 suggests the latest Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S headsets for aspiring reality jumpers. For Xbox fans, not only is there an Xbox option for Meta Quest 3, but the Quest 3S (without the branding) to seamlessly connect to Xbox Game Pass and play existing libraries in a more portable frame. For gamers, VR could be the next frontier to be conquered this Christmas.

GeForce NOW Subscription

Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition

Not all gifts for gamers are physical; some of the best gifts can be delivered as a digital service (including Fortnite V-Bucks and other currencies). For our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition, a fresh GeForce NOW subscription could be just what a gamer needs to get out of the trenches of their backlog and into a game seamlessly without a weighty download.

GeForce NOW brings the power of an NVIDIA GPU to a device that normally can’t run certain software. This year, GeForce NOW brought the power of NVIDIA GPUs to the Steam Deck, letting players who use their Deck for everything jump into higher-fidelity experiences in the cloud. In the second half of 2025, GeForce NOW implemented RTX 5080 support and NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation for streaming up to 5K resolution at 120 frames per second to the service, giving players without a powerful system true power to play. GeForce NOW is our recommendation for our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition.

Digital Currency

Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition

In-game funds are always considered a servicable gift, especially for younger family members looking for Minecraft Mine Coins, or Fortnite V-Bucks. Younger family members don’t have their own credit cards, so it’s usually a good choice to get redeemable code cards for members to go shopping at a storefront (with parental permission), without ringing up the credit card bill for mom and dad. For our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition, digital currency can answer the “what should I get?” question without stress.

  • Steam Wallet Funds – Steam Gift Cards in denominations of $20 and $50 can be found at any local pharmacy or gift card stand, and can even be purchased off the GameStop website for ease of gift-giving.
  • Xbox Game Pass/Xbox Currency – Like Steam, Xbox offers gift cards to exchange real currency into either Xbox funds or Xbox Game Pass time, and is a boon for those looking to gift younger family members the right items for Christmas. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate recently jumped in price, but using code cards gets players a significant discount from the secondary market. It’s worth noting that dollar amounts will almost always translate into the same amount digitally, but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for cheaper is a solid choice.
  • PlayStation Plus – Like Xbox, PlayStation has its own subscription service that can be purchased as a digital redemption code alongside PlayStation currency.
  • Nintendo Online + Expansion Pass – Lastly, Nintendo also offers digital currency on its storefront, and has an online subscription service that allows gamers to play from a catalogue of its hit titles. Nintendo Online + Expansion Pass even lets players jump into some N64 titles straight from the dashboard, letting older and younger gamers bridge the gap for the Holiday Season.

The Backbone Pro incorporates many of the features of its predecessor for mobile gamers in a more robust and full-size design, complete with over 40 hours of battery life.
  • For racing enthusiasts, Turtle Beach’s VelocityOne Race KD3 Steering Wheel Controller could provide a controller solution for those who want to get literally behind the wheel. The VelocityOne Race KD3 is designed as a complete driving system straight out of the box, making it ready for any racing simulation.
  • For gamers in need of decorations, the Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 can enhance the immersive aspects of gaming and media with lighting reminiscent of what’s happening on screen. For anyone looking to take their gaming setup to another immersive level, the Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 is a solid choice that elevates gaming experiences.
  • For a very niche brand of gamers, the ROG XG Mobile External GPU Dock on the Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition can bring a solution to mobile GPU issues, featuring impressive specs, solid IO, and a small compact design.
  • For gamers who need a new desk mat due to theirs becoming worn out (or discoloured), Logitech’s Studio Series Desk Mat can offer a fresh pop of colour and comfort when a replacement (or a first) is necessary.

Controllers

Razer Raiju V3 Pro Wireless PS5 Controller Review

It is a fact that games cannot be played without an input device. So, CGMagazine has compiled some of the best controllers we have looked at in 2025 for CGM’s Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition. Throughout the year, we have reviewed and tested some of the best offerings on the market, and they’re compiled here so fans can shop without having to research a recommended pair of sticks.

  • For gamers who have every console (including PC), the GameSir G7 Pro Controller is a serviceable option thanks to its adaptability. The GameSir G7 can sync up to any Xbox console, Android mobile phone, or PC without issue, and keybinds can be toyed with to let players tailor theirs to their playstyle.
  • For a premium option for PlayStation 5 gamers, the Razer Raiju V3 Pro Wireless PS5 Controller is a good choice if players require a host of features and functions, and like included attachments and accessories for their weapon of choice. The included hair-trigger functionality also gives players an extra edge where competitive gaming is concerned, in case the player is serious about their K/D.
  • For a more modular design, the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded includes replaceable parts and a multitool for gamers who need to have everything their way. While the BFG includes hair triggers, it can also function as a fight stick with a removable face module that transforms the right stick into six face buttons, adapting to a hard-to-shop-for user without effort.
  • The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally out, and so is the add-on Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. With a premium weight, solid design, and compatibility with the new Switch 2, this pro controller is a good option for players who like a more traditional controller design without the bells and whistles of modular or other ‘Pro’ designs.

Keyboards

Gravistar Mercury V75 Pro Cyberpunk Keyboard Review

For PC gamers, it’s easy to see how important a proper keyboard is for maintaining relevance on a battlefield, and often gamers continue to use their favourite board until the keys (literally and figuratively) fall off. For 2025, CGMagazine has dealt the best mechanical keyboards (especially gaming keyboards), and we have picked some favourites for our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition. From heavy-duty to lightweight, CGM has you covered.

  • For the mechanical/customizable gamer, the Razer Blackwidow v4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed Wireless Keyboard features ABS keycaps that can be switched with nearly every other mechanical keyboard on the market (including Drops). For heavier-handed users, if a switch breaks, it can also be easily replaced rather than getting a whole new board.
  • Another TKL, the Cherry XTRFY MX 8.3, cuts out the number pad for more desk real estate for easier mouse manipulation. Cherry also includes a keycap remover alongside its small, customizable LCD and metal chassis, so that fans can tailor their board to their preferences.
  • Cutting the size by another percentage, the Gravistar Mercury V75 Pro Cyberpunk Keyboard features a mini design, taking even more keys off the board in favour of more desk space. Gravistar V75 boasts HE switches for precision, giving gamers a slight advantage over those without optimized latency solutions.
  • Another option for the 75 percent keyboard enthusiasts is the ASUS ROG Azoth X, a premium option with customization options consistent with other mechanical keyboards, and it comes with a sci-fi-inspired profile that stands out from the rest of the pack.

Gaming Mice

Razer Cobra HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

One of the best gifts to give any gamer is an upgrade to a needed device, and one of the most needed devices in PC gaming is the mouse. CGMagazine has been testing some of the best gaming mouse options on the market for 2025, and we have compiled some of our favourites below for our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The Gamer Edition. To become the coolest family member at the table, getting one of these mice for a loved one could net you extra points.

  • CORSAIR is instantly recognizable as a quality peripheral manufacturer for PC, and with their latest ultralight mouse line, the CORSAIR SABRE v2 PRO Gaming Mouse is ultralight, has 8K hyper-polling, and will run under $100 for those looking for a premium upgrade.
  • Move over ultralight, the ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Mini Gaming Mouse brings a sturdier (but smaller) frame to the desktop. For PC enthusiasts who need everything in a bite-sized presentation, including a light-up scroll wheel (and looks good doing it), the Harpe Ace Mini has your back.
  • For users who need a fast and more affordable option, Razer has come to the rescue with the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Mouse. Although this mouse is cheaper for a gaming mouse, Razer’s Focus X 26K optical sensor is on board, providing an excellent user experience for a less premium price point.
