Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Ice-Pick Lodge have announced that the survival horror game Pathologic 3 is now available for PlayStation 5, with the Xbox Series version set to launch on January 23. A launch trailer has also been released, showcasing gameplay elements, cutscenes, several in-game locations, and more. The console versions were notably set to launch at a later date. In Pathologic 3, players “find themselves in a small, remote town gripped by a mysterious and deadly disease, and will step into the shoes of The Bachelor, a city doctor renowned for his relentless fight against death.”

Pathologic 3 continues the cult series about a mysterious plague in a distant steppe city. It’s a psychological detective story: you play as Daniil Dankovsky, a metropolitan physician who arrives to meet an “immortal” man, but is forced to lead the fight against the epidemic and try to save the city in just 12 days.
In this psychological horror game, you are a doctor with only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague. Make ruthless decisions and diagnose with precision. Shape the town’s future and rewrite the past. Hold yourself together while it all falls apart.

After plenty of anticipation and excitement, Pathologic 3 is finally out on PC and PS5. Ice-Pick Lodge has cemented itself as one of the most prolific developers of the last decade, especially on PC.
If you’re enjoying your time on PC and want to access your local progress data, here is the save file location for Pathologic 3.
Saturdays are for putting your hand in a bucket of ice, swallowing a mouthful of honey and lemon, and breathing a sigh of relief. All that practice you put into your welcome handshake and 'Here comes trouble!' paid off. Almost every member of the treehouse has been successfully greeted home.
