After 20 Years, TimeSplitters Is Finally Returning (But There's a Catch)

For over two decades, fans of TimeSplitters have waited, hoped, and even despaired as the beloved sci-fi shooter series lay dormant. With its idiosyncratic humor, wild time-travel levels, and chaotic multiplayer, TimeSplitters carved out a distinct niche in the early 2000s. While rumors and studio whispers floated around for years, no official revival ever materialized. In fact, the original developer, Free Radical, reformed a few years ago to work on a new entry but it was canceled and the studio was shut down (again) before it ever saw the light of day. But now, it's finally back in the form of TimeSplitters Rewind in Early Access. Well, sort of.
