Criterion developed the game and it was published in 2022 by EA, and when it was released we gave it 9/10 in our review, calling it “the best arcade racer of 2022”. Since then it has had multiple updates but support for the game ended in in 2024 when Criterion moved on to help make Battlefield 6.

Joining it will be Epic Mickey Rebrushed on PS4 and PS5.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed brings the magic of Disney to life in a vibrant 3D platformer. This beautiful remake sends Mickey into a fantastical world where you use paint and thinner to shape your adventure and the fate of this alternate world. Every stroke of your magic brush matters! Use paint to restore beauty and harmony or thinner to alter your environment and uncover hidden secrets. Encounter iconic characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first creation. Your third and final game is Core Keeper on both PS4 and PS5.

Need For Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and Core Keeper will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday January 6th 2026 until Monday February 2nd 2026

Sony had previously announced that from January 2026, PS4 games will no-longer be a guaranteed part of the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup. Cross-gen games that have a PS4 version could certainly still be included – and there’s still tons of PS4 games being released – but it’s not going to be a requirement anymore.

Here’s Sony’s statement from the PS Blog:

As many of our players are currently playing on PS5 and have shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles from the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit, PlayStation Plus is also evolving with this trend and will focus on offering PS5 titles through the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit starting January 2026. As we shift to PS5, PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog starting January 2026. We may still provide titles that can be playable on both PS4 and PS5 consoles after this date.

Please note, this won’t affect the PS4 Monthly Games that you have already redeemed from PlayStation Plus. You’ll continue to have access to games you’ve already redeemed as long as you remain a member.  For Game Catalog, PS4 games will still be available to play until it leaves the catalog as part of our monthly refresh.

We’ll continue to evolve the experience of PlayStation Plus and optimize the benefits you receive, including exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, online game save storage and more. As we shift our focus to PS5, we look forward to adding new PS5 titles monthly for you to enjoy.

The PS Plus January 2026 games should be officially revealed later today on the PlayStation Blog.

Sega PS5, PS4 Game Removed From PS Plus Without Notice

9. Leden 2026 v 14:38
PS Plus game

A Sega PS5, PS4 game has been removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog without a warning. We’re not sure when Endless Dungeon: Definitive Edition disappeared from PS Plus, but we’ve checked several regions’ PS Store pages to confirm that it’s not currently part of the catalog.

Sega game Endless Dungeon was added to PS Plus in June 2025

Endless Dungeon: Definitive Edition was added to PS Plus Extra back in June 2025. While Sony does have six-month deals with some publishers, it’s unusual for a Sega game to leave PS Plus in that span of time, especially without notice.

We’re not sure if Endless Dungeon has been removed in all regions or not, but at the time of writing, it’s not available to claim in U.S. and U.K. PS stores. I looked around on gaming forums to see if anyone else noticed the game missing in the Extra catalog, and saw a few comments from players who said they were only able to play Endless Dungeon because they had previously downloaded it. Those who didn’t claim it are not able to download it for free.

This leads me to believe that Endless Dungeon’s removal is a temporary PS Store glitch. We’ve seen this happen before when Sony updated SKUs for games on the storefront. In the case of Sayonara Wild Hearts, the game disappeared from PS Plus Extra for a week as Sony updated its SKU after its native PS5 port was released.

Here’s hoping that’s also the case with Endless Dungeon.

We’ll update our readers when we have more information.

PS Plus December 2025 Monthly Games features LEGO Horizon Adventures in a five game bonanza

26. Listopad 2025 v 19:02

Sony has revealed the PS Plus Monthly Games for December 2025, and it’s a big month with a bumper crop of five games that includes one of their big first party games… in Lego form. There’s also a surprising amount of mutliplayer horror stuff for the festive season.

What are the PS Plus December 2025 Monthly Games?

There’s a big bundle of titles for PS Plus this month, available from Tuesday, 2nd December:

  • LEGO Horizon Adventures | PS5
  • Killing Floor 3 | PS5
  • The Outlast Trials | PS4, PS5
  • Synduality Echo of Ada | PS5
  • Neon White | PS4, PS5

Lego Horizon Adventures - combat

LEGO Horizon Adventures is the biggest deal here, as Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo’s Lego reimagining of their post-apocalyptic robo adventure. Play as Aloy and chums in a bricky adventure that does things a little bit differently to the Travellers Tales games, but looks absolutely gorgeous.

Killing Floor 3 Impaler attack

Then there’s the gruesome twosome of Killing Floor 3’s co-op sci-fi zombie blasting and The Outlast Trials’ co-op horror. Killing Floor 3’s a rather recent game, but didn’t have the greatest launch behind it, while The Outlast Trials has a solid cachet and recently was updated with a new versus mode.

With extraction shooters the talk of the town right now, thanks to ARC Raiders, it’s good to remember that there’s plenty of other examples out there too. Synduality Echo of Ada is just one such game, stuffed with cool mechs, customisable characters and tight combat, and putting its own polish on the extraction experience. We gave it a hefty 9/10 in our review.

Perhaps the cream of the crop is Neon White, which Miguel absolutely adored. He said, “Neon White is a love letter to turn-of-the-decade internet weirdos. It’s full of rule-of-cool anime nostalgia, ear-shredding electronic music, and dialogue ripped straight out of my group chats. It’s a genuine game made for an audience rarely prioritised, but even if you don’t fit the archetypical person this game was made for, you’re still in for the most stylish and satisfying action-platformer I’ve ever experienced.”

Can you still get the November 2025 PS Plus games?

Yes! You’ve got until Monday 1st December to claim this month’s PS Plus games, which include:

  • Stray | PS5, PS4
  • EA Sports WRC | PS5
  • TABS | PS5, PS4

Head here for the full skinny on that.

Play PS5/PS4 Multiplayer Games Without PS Plus for Limited Time

3. Prosinec 2025 v 14:11
Free PS5, PS4 multiplayer without PS Plus

PS5 and PS4 users can soon play online multiplayer games for free without a PS Plus subscription for a limited time. Sony has announced a free multiplayer weekend that kicks off this Saturday, December 6, at midnight local time.

PS5 and PS4 getting free multiplayer weekend, no PS Plus required

The free multiplayer weekend will end at 11:59 p.m. local time on Sunday, December 7. In other words, folks without PS Plus will have two full days of free multiplayer.

No games are off limits, so this is a good time to mop up those trophies or just have fun without forking out extra cash, and transport yourself back to those PS3 days when online gaming was free.

Do note that you will not be able to access any other PS Plus benefits, like cloud saves.

Sony is currently offering varying discounts on PS Plus memberships, but the offers are mostly targeted towards new subscribers, returning subscribers whose memberships ran out a while ago, or those who wish to upgrade from a lower tier to a higher tier. To find out if you qualify, head over to the PS Plus section of the PS Store via PS App or your console.

Sony Is Hosting A Free Online Multiplayer Weekend For PS5 & PS4 Users Beginning Dec. 6

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced plans to host a free online multiplayer weekend for PS5 & PS4 users, allowing those of you who have yet to fork out for one of the three PlayStation Plus tiers to take your favourite games online without dropping any cash.

The free multiplayer weekend will kick off at 0.01am local time on December 6, 2025 and will wrap up on 23.59pm local time on December 7. During this time, PS Plus membership won’t be required at all for whatever online gaming activities you get up to, and there’s plenty of titles to take advantage of.

While we’re on the subject of PS Plus, Sony recently launched the PS Plus Essential December 2025 free games lineup, which features five games for you to nab. The format holder announced earlier this year that PS4 games will only be offered occasionally for PS Plus’ monthly games, as the company looks to put its focus on PS5 from January 2026 onwards.

PS Plus recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, having originally launched in June 2010 during the PS3 era. Prior to that, it wasn’t necessary to pay for online gaming on a Sony console, although the freebies awarded with PS Plus more than make up for that.

PS3 Emulation Update Isn’t Great News for Some PS Plus Users

24. Listopad 2025 v 12:41
PS3 games on PS5, PS4, PS Plus

Sony partner Implicit Conversions has provided an update on its “dream” PS3 emulation project, and it’s not what PS Plus Premium users wanted to hear. In a new interview, CEO Bill Litshauer revealed that PS3 emulation is more of a “backburner” passion project because there’s more demand for PS2 games, and Implicit Conversions hasn’t been asked for PS3 games specifically by Sony either.

Highly demanded PS3 games continue to elude PS5, PS4, and PS Plus

The good news is that Implicit Conversions is working on PS3 emulation with a third party, so the project isn’t dead, as Litshauer confirmed to YouTuber Mystic (thanks, PSNProfiles):

Those hoping to see downloadable PS3 games on the PS5 and PS4 are going to have to wait.

PS3 games are currently only available via cloud streaming, so PS Plus Premium users who don’t have the internet speed to stream games will have to stick to downloadable classics. And PS Plus users outside of streaming countries, where Premium is replaced with Deluxe, don’t have access to PS3 games on PS5 and PS4 altogether.

Those without a PS Plus subscription are also completely out of luck unless they have access to a PS3 console.

I highly recommend watching the full interview, as it reveals a lot of interesting facts about bringing classics to modern platforms. What stuck out the most to me was the revelation that porting classics is an expensive affair overall, and some developers opt out of adding trophies because the feature adds to the cost of development.

Another interesting tidbit is that the process of porting classics is sometimes complicated by licenses and IP changing hands over the years, and in some cases, license/IP owners are deceased.

Grand Theft Auto V Reportedly Heading Back to PS Plus Extra Catalogue

A character in Grand Theft Auto V runs with a rifle on train tracks as a fiery explosion occurs in the background.

Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed, which means we'll have to keep going back to Grand Theft Auto V to get a fix for Rockstar's best-selling franchise. If you're one of the handful of people who have yet to play one of the highest-selling video games ever, it looks like you'll get another chance, at least on PlayStation. According to Billbil-kun at Dealabs, Grand Theft Auto V is heading back to the PS Plus Extra games catalogue. Billbil-kun and Dealabs have a strong track record when it comes to reporting PS Plus games, whether it's one of, or sometimes […]

PS Plus Extra November Game Leak Massively Disappoints

7. Listopad 2025 v 12:49
PS Plus Extra November 2025 game GTA V

The first PS Plus Extra November 2025 game has leaked, and it’s already massively disappointed some users. Frankly, we can see why. Not long after Rockstar Games announced another Grand Theft Auto VI release date delay, a reliable leaker revealed that GTA V is returning to the Extra catalog this month.

PS Plus users hoping GTA V doesn’t headline November 2025 Extra catalog

GTA V has been in and out of the PS Plus Extra catalog multiple times, so its inclusion in November’s lineup — confirmed by none other than Dealabs user billbil-kun — has come as a huge disappointment to users. At least that’s what it looks like gauging responses to the leak.

Many are hoping that GTA V doesn’t end up being the headliner for November.

“Waste of a slot; everybody and their grandma has played GTA V,” one user wrote on Reddit. “A game spot already wasted. Who tf wants GTA V anymore,” a fellow user concurred.

Although we understand the disappointment, GTA V continues to dominate sales charts and remains one of the most popular games on PS5 and PS4, so we can understand why Sony keeps bringing it back. That said, we too hope that GTA V doesn’t end up being the November headliner as compensation for a lackluster catalog refresh heading into the holiday season.

Like all leaks, take this with a grain of salt until official confirmation. But billbil-kun has a stellar record so keep those expectations in check.
