Grinding Gear Games has announced that early access for the upcoming Path of Exile 2 will begin on November 15, 2024. The announcement came during the opening ceremony for Gamescom 2024, alongside a new trailer.
Other than the early access date itself, the other main features of the trailer are the new gameplay footage and boss designs. We see a floating lich, a bloated creature with a mask and four arms, a plant monster, a figure covered in hands, and a Egyptian or Mesoamerican-looking golem creature channeling lightning. After these enemies are introduced, we get to see some gameplay. This segment showed off the mobility of not just the player characters, but the bosses too. One opponent called Ignaduk the Bog Witch performed what looks like a power-slide on a broom, and others seem to be able to target vast swathes of the arena. Then comes the early access date announcement. While there is currently no direction on how to sign up, there will likely be more information added to the official website nearer to the launch.
You can watch the trailer via YouTube below:

The short version is that the native client is being treated as a new title by Sony, so it has to go through the certification process once again before being approved.
In its statement, Grinding Gear Games said, “During our GGG Live broadcast a couple of weeks ago, we mentioned working on a native Path of Exile client for PlayStation 5. In this news post we’d like to give you a small update regarding this and when to expect the client to go live. The PlayStation 5 native client is treated as a new title submission on PlayStation 5. It gets all new PlayStation 5 services integrations like party and trophies. This means that we needed to rework some of those systems compared to the PlayStation 4 client and certify them.
At this moment, the game client itself is finished, but we still need to make some adjustments to satisfy the certification requirements. However, these are minor and should not take long. This also means that the PlayStation 5 client gets a new set of trophies (which are identical to PlayStation 4 trophies) and those will be unlocked automatically when you login to the game.We expect to finish certification within the next few weeks. Thanks for your patience!”

Path of Exile outlines planned change to reduce the overbearing impact of one specific item
Sometimes balancing an MMO is a matter of twisting a few different knobs and realigning certain metrics, but sometimes balance comes down to changing one specific item. That latter one is the case for Path of Exile, which is going to be making one small adjustment to one little item that could have a significant […]

The Settlers of Kalguur update for Path of Exile has brought with it a ton of new content to the game, including a number of different resources that you can get for yourself. One such resource is Bismuth, a rare and valuable ore.
In this guide, we will be looking at how you can get Bismuth in Path of Exile. There are a number of different uses for this valuable ore, making it a must-have resource in Settlers of Karguul.
How to Get Bismuth
You can get Bismuth in Path of Exile by either mining it yourself or using workers to mine the ore for you. Both methods are very good at generating Bismuth, but only if you know how they work.
So how do both methods work?
Mining Bismuth
Bismuth can be mined through Bismuth deposits. You will be able to find these deposits after Act 5 in Settlers of Kalguur.
The image above shows what a Bismuth deposit looks like. To mine Bismuth from this deposit, all you need to do is go up to it and click on it.
An important thing to note is that after you mine the Bismuth, certain mobs surrounding the deposit will receive various powerful buffs. These enemies will become significantly stronger than the other enemies alongside them, so be wary of them when mining Bismuth.
As shown in the image above, the buffed enemies will have a bright outline around them. When clearing these mobs, try to take out the buffed enemy first. This will make your life much easier and help you get out of the area as soon as possible.
Using Workers to Mine Bismuth
Another way to get Bismuth in Path of Exile is by using workers to mine it for you. The new league mechanic in Kingsmarch allows you to take control of several different tasks around the city, including mining. You can hire workers and assign them to these mines to help you gather Bismuth. For more on the league system, check out our detailed guide on how the league mechanic works in POE.
To mine Bismuth using workers, you will need to upgrade your mining to rank 4. Once your mining is at rank 4, you’ll be able to assign workers to mine Bismuth. As long as you have workers assigned to mining, they will passively generate the ore for you. You will need to pay the workers hourly though, so make sure you have enough gold in your treasury.

Still, we included as accurate predictions as we could to make the ranking as fair as possible.
