GXTrust Forta Wireless Gaming Headset review: Good budget-priced PS5 earphones

We are only a few hours away from Summer Games Fest, and it seems like not even the premiere day is safe from spoilers, with a new report by Dealabs Magazine revealing the existence of the next game in the Hot Wheels franchise, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush.
According to the exclusive, Infinite Rush is being developed by Milestone and is set for release on September 24, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is set to be priced at $49,99.

Adding even more weight to the claim, the game’s trailer was also released early via what I believe to be an accidental upload by EB Games Australia Trailers on YouTube. But that’s not all, as a reply by user xTobyPlayZ in the post above then revealed that a series of promotional images were also leaked via imgbb, including a clear look at the game’s box art. Of course, we won’t add them here, but you can check them out via the X post.
If its release date is indeed kept, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush will have a lot of competition in the September slot, with games like The Blood of Dawnwalker, Phantom Blade Zero, and Marvel’s Wolverine hitting the shelves a few weeks before. Why are so many titles picking the month? Well, I don’t know for sure, but I’ll bet it ends with a 6.
It’s also important to point out that the release does not clear the title of the competition in the arcade racing department, with Star Wars: Galactic Racer being set to arrive on October 6, 2026. If the news made you want to dive into more Hot Wheels or Milestone titles, you can currently play most of the franchise on Steam, as well as the developer’s latest arcade racer, Screamer, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.

It’s officially time for week 2 of the Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist, and there are all-new challenges to complete for some useful rewards. Among those challenges is to perform three Awesome Drifts or E-Drift Skills, which isn’t too difficult on its own. However, the tougher part of the challenge requires you to do the drifts at Shibuya Crossing, a location that has proven harder to find than most players think.
Similar to the recent Tokyo Tower Photo Challenge in Forza Horizon 6, you can’t even get started with this particular challenge until you figure out where Shibuya Crossing is located. While you can spend hours driving around Tokyo City looking for this exact location, why not just take a look at the guide below to see where Shibuya Crossing is on the map?
Just like most landmarks on the Japan map in Forza Horizon 6, Shibuya Crossing is a real location in Tokyo. Soif you’re familiar with the city, you likely already know where to go. However, most of us aren’t geographical experts, so you’ll most likely need some guidance on where to find this tourist attraction.
Fortunately, you don’t have to go too far from the downtown area in Tokyo City to find Shibuya Crossing. Specifically, it’s located just northeast of Tokyo Tower and southeast of the Edogawa Baseball Stadium on your map. Shibuya Crossing is a large intersection that’s just west of Tokyo City Broadway. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a large, white building with an advertisement for Fizi Pop.

If this is your first time visiting Shibuya Crossing, you’ll want to take a picture of it to earn some XP and also take a mental note of where it is, as you’ll need to come back here for various objectives in Forza Horizon 6.
Of course, this isn’t a Photo Challenge, so just taking a picture of Shibuya Crossing isn’t your primary goal. You have to complete three Awesome Drifts or E-Drift Skills, which will require a specific car and possibly special tires to get the job done.
To easily complete the challenge, use your best drifting car and attempt to drift through the wide open intersection of Shibuya Crossing. You want to aim to go from one direction to the other, which isn’t too difficult given that the location has plenty of roads filtering in and out from multiple directions. Once you manage to complete one Awesome Drift or use an E-Drift Skill, you can keep using the same spot until you get all three of them done.
For your efforts, you’ll earn 5,000 CR in Forza Horizon 6, which isn’t a lot, but the challenge isn’t particularly difficult once you know how to find Shibuya Crossing.
The post Swan Song Walkthrough – Chapter 6-9 appeared first on Into Indie Games.
A lot of fantastic-looking indie games were featured at 2026's Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition showcase this year, but Mr. Records from developer Glee-Cheese Studio and publisher Wired Productions was a particular standout in a post-Mixtape world.
Mr. Records is about an old man named George who runs a vinyl record shop and can transport himself to another world when he listens to music. In a Moonlighter-like setup, players must manage the record shop during the day, matching music to customers for whom it would be a good fit. At night, however, George and the game's players are whisked away to a different world where they have to jump and react to what's coming at them to the beat of a song.
Unlike Mixtape, all 45 songs in Mr. Records are original compositions by Charles Bardin and Valentin Ducloux. The pair have previously composed games like Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and A Musical Story. Its Day of the Devs segment features many of these tracks, including 'Shine', 'Power of Imagination', 'The Sausage Blues', 'First Glance', 'Pieces of You', and 'No Need for Men'.
Although the lack of licensed music means Mr. Records won't play into nostalgia as much as Mixtape did, the game still looks like it will explore the meaning music has for people and how it allows us to make connections. With an art style reminiscent of Thank Goodness You're Here, a split gameplay concept like Moonlighter, rhythm-based action like Rhythm Heaven, and a deep focus on our emotional connections to music like Mixtape, Mr. Records seems like an appealing blend of some fantastic games.
The developers expect Mr. Records to be about four hours long, split between what the developers call "musical journeys," managing the record store, and chilling in George's bedroom. Songs will have both normal and hard versions to give the game more replay value.
Mr. Records is slated for release on PC sometime in the first quarter of 2027. Make sure you check out GameSpot's Day of the Devs roundup to learn about everything that was announced.

Epic Games is pulling an extremely surprising move to start Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, by mixing up the existing Battle Royale island so extensively that it feels like a totally new one. It's a pretty unprecedented situation, but it's also an exciting one, because we like new things. Look at this:

The new island is called Shattered Coast, and it's sort of a remix of the previous version of the Chapter 7 island, with most of the old POIs being remixed into something new, several entirely new spots being added, and the geography being altered dramatically.
For example, Battlewood is now Battlewoods, and has shifted from being a concrete urban landscape into a forest town. New Sanctuary is now Shaken Sanctuary, and has moved from being in the middle of the desert to being in a tropical paradise, similar to the environment around the old Sanctuary in Chapter 3.
This is a wild overhaul. Sanctuary and Latte Landing managed to stay in roughly the same place, but everything else is all mixed up. Wonkeeland is a great illustration for this, because it hasn't changed too much from how it was in Season 2, but it's on a different part of the island now, in the northeast instead of the northwest.
Below, you'll find a sequence of images that show off many of the new locations around the island, including Sunken Shores, Battlewoods, Cluster Coast. Shaken Sanctuary, Heatwave Harbor, Chopped Shop, Lifty Lodge, Frosted Flats, and Sinister Strip.

With Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, summer has officially arrived in the metaverse. If you thought Epic's constant shakeups to the Battle Royale meta in Season 2 were wild, just wait 'til you get a load of this update, which adds a major new core gameplay mechanic and introduces a nearly entirely new map in the middle of the chapter. It's gonna be a lot to process, so let's dive right in.
Apparently so! The new map is called Shattered Coast, and features remixes of Chapter 7's POIs--so the urban landscape of Battlewood, for example, has been replaced with the forested environs of Battlewoods, complete with a running river. But it's also the wilderness between towns that benefits from an update like this, because the geography around the island is completely different. I mean, just look at this thing.

Not every location from the Season 2 map is being remixed into something new, though. The wonderful Wonkeeland is sticking around for Season 3. So there are plenty of familiar features on the new island still. You can go deep on the new map here.
The critters, who we previously spent a lot of time with during Chapter 6, return in Season 3, but with big changes and many new sprite types. The sprites are, in fact, the focus of the gameplay in Season 3, like the Rivalry system was in Season 2. When you collect a sprite, it will grant you an ability based on its type, but you can also bank it at various Extraction sites around the island so you can summon it at the start of a later match. And the more times you extract each type of sprite, the more effective that type will be when you use it in future matches--and you can also level them up by getting kills with one in your inventory. Learn more about the sprites here.

The new battle pass includes eight skins, as usual, with one collaboration: a cel-shaded re-do of John Wick, along with his dog as a sidekick. Purchasing the pass will instantly unlock The Guardian, a customizable mech suit driven by a sprite--extracting sprites during rounds of BR will unlock them as style options for this skin. And if you buy the pass during the first week of the season (June 6-12), you'll also instantly receive the Gold Huntress style of the Dylan skin and her accessories.
Dylan is a strangely noteworthy inclusion, because she appears to be the most scantily clad female skin Fortnite has ever had, something the children are sure to be normal about.
The pass also includes two remixes of existing skins, Heatwave PJ and Vanguard Slone, and a third, The Voidblade, which appears inspired by the item shop skin Focus. Lastly, we've got a new rubber duck man called Cluster, and a soldier called Wolfe, who's likely an old acquaintance of Slone's from the Imagined Order, judging by his mask.

We're starting Season 3 with four new weapons and one new movement item, including a collaboration gun: John Wick's Lancehead Pistol, which will let you throw the magazine when it's empty. The clips of folks winning rounds of Battle Royale using that are going to be awesome.
Beyond that, we've also got the long-range Extending Focus Shotgun, the Surgical Burst Rifle, and the Chaos Exploder Rifle, which fires exploding cubes a la Season 2's Cube Rifle. The new movement is called the Seven Sliders, which let you blast your enemies while dramatically sliding around on your knees, like if you were playing Vanquish on the Xbox 360. That's a good thing, to be clear.
Epic is promising a pretty strange new wrinkle for Battle Royale later in Season 3. Here's how they explain it: "There will be a small percentage chance that in some matches, the Battle Bus will rift back into the map, and you'll have a window to board it. Climb on, grapple up, get at least one teammate to the rift out point, and your team secures the Victory. Multiple teams can win this way per match!"
It's really tough to evaluate whether this is a good idea without seeing it in action, so we'll reserve judgment. But this idea seems like it might have been inspired by shenanigans players were pulling with the Stick of Truth during the South Park event, when they could choose where the storm circle would close and would frequently choose the most obnoxious places, like the middle of the ocean. But evolving that idea (the circle closes to some inconvenient spot that everyone can see) into an extraction concept with multiple potential winners sounds potentially a lot more palatable.

In Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, the sprites are back! These lovable little spirits, which we first met back in Chapter 6 Season 1, have returned to the Battle Royale island following the cataclysmic confrontation between the Ice King and the Foundation in the Shattered live event. Now, there's a lot more of them than there used to be, and they're about to become a lot more pivotal to the Fortnite Battle Royale experience than ever before, because they're Season 3's central gameplay mechanic.

These sprites can be found wandering around all over the island, and you can just run up to one and pick it up. Doing so will take up an inventory slot, show the sprite on your back, and give you some sort of ability. Sprites have rarities, and the more rare ones will, of course, be both harder to find and give better bonuses. Let's take a look at Epic's descriptions for what each sprite does, from least to most rare:
These sprites aren't just for usin', though. In Chapter 6, players would bring them to a shrine, which would reward them with loot in return. It's a similar situation in Chapter 7, but now you'll bring the sprite to an extraction point, where you'll store it and receive a new type of currency called sprite dust. Extracting the sprites, and defeating enemies with the sprite in your inventory, will also level up the type of sprite you're using. The higher the level, the more powerful their abilities are. There are bonus rewards tied to mastering each sprite this way.
You won't always have to go to a set point for the extraction, however, since new Gizmo consumables will allow players to summon an extraction point wherever they happen to be.
There's a pretty clear gameplay advantage to extraction. Extracting the sprites and earning sprite dust will make it so you can start a match with the sprite of your choosing. It's not hard to see how any of these could turn the tide of an early match encounter and keep your squad alive.
But the sprites are generally going to be less useful later in the match than any good loot you might have found, so it's a good strategy to invest in a future match when you probably already have better stuff anyway.
On top of the gameplay part of it, extracting a sprite will let battle pass owners use it as a customization option for The Guardian skin, which is a mech suit piloted by a sprite. Extracting a sprite allows you to choose it as the pilot for the suit.

Until now, Kratos was the primary star of every God of War game. However, his late wife, Faye, is taking the spotlight in God of War Laufey. But when Faye picks up her sword, veteran God of War fans may recognize the influence that the original Greek trilogy had on her fighting style.
"I think that because we started with the idea, like we knew it was going to be a Faye game, we had a Faye model. We couldn't just put Kratos animations on her," God of War Laufey director Ariel Lawrence told GameSpot. "It just wouldn't make sense. Her body wouldn't move that way. But I think being able to look back to the Greek era [where] Kratos had a little bit more of an acrobatic nature [helped]."
"We still have folks in the studio who've worked on those games," added Lawrence. "So I think this was, 'What if we did this, but this is the person we have executing this, and how would that work and what things could we borrow, what things could we expand on?' That's the fun part of development--just seeing where it can go."
As seen in the first footage from the game, Faye won't be alone as she explores the Everywhen, the hostile afterlife of the gods. She will be joined by a talking gelatinous cube named Phranque, as voiced by The Boys’ Jack Quaid. Faye's other companion is Rue (Perlina Lau), a ribbon that is attached to her new sword. Daredevil: Born Again's Deborah Ann Woll is reprising her role as Faye from God of War: Ragnarok.
Although God of War Laufey doesn't have Kratos in the lead, Sony Santa Monica has promised that there will be more stories about him in the future.
God of War Laufey will be released on PlayStation 5, but the game doesn't have a release date at this time.

Each year, Day of the Devs hosts a showcase around Summer Game Fest to highlight some of the wildly creative indie games in development around the world. The organizers of Day of the Devs revealed to GameSpot that the non-profit received over 1,700 submissions for this year's Summer Game Fest showcase. That massive list of submissions was ultimately narrowed down to 20 titles, diverse in genre and developers, that make up the showcase.
Titles included range from a Yooka-Laylee racing game to a hilarious friendslop game about fighting zombies while boating down a lazy river. We also got release dates for highly anticipated indies like Screenbound and the 1.0 launch of 33 Immortals.
If you missed this year’s show live, we’re here to help. Here’s everything that was featured at Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest 2026 Edition in order of appearance.

Messhof, the indie studio behind Nidhogg and Wheel World, kicked off the showcase by revealing Blood Dungeon. It’s a fantasy dungeon-crawling platformer take on Vampire Survivors. In Blood Dungeon, players scurry around constantly shooting at enemies as they explore levels and unlock new weapons and improvements. It features one of the funniest run cycle animations we’ve ever seen in a game, and it’s out later this summer.

Argentinian developer Saibot Studios and New Blood Interactive appeared next to show off Tenebris Somnia. This survival horror game blends pixel art action with spooky live-action FMV scenes. Saibot proudly declared it didn’t use any generative AI during production, leaning into practical effects for many of its live-action scares. Faith developer Airdorf also played a critical part in the game’s development as executive producer. Tenebris Somnia is set to release on October 16.

Hot off the heels of Mixtape comes another amazing-looking music-driven game. In Mr. Records, gameplay is split into two parts. In one, players are transported to a different world while listening to a record and have to make their way through platforming challenges to the rhythm of the music. In between those levels, players manage a record shop. It’s basically Moonlighter by the way of Rhythm Heaven. Mr. Records will be released in Q1 2027

Thunder Lotus Games launched 33 Immortals into Xbox Game Preview in March 2025. Since then, it has been building on the game, in which teams of up to 33 players can team up to fight their way through the action-roguelike. Thunder Lotus sponsored this year’s event and used it as an opportunity to confirm a June 10 release date for 33 Immortals’ 1.0 launch. When it releases, it’ll be available through Xbox Game Pass on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Kyrgyzstan-based developer Dream Dock Studio revealed Dreadmoor, a fishing game with supernatural elements. In it, players must maintain a fishing boat as they sail through a post-cataclysm fantasy world, encountering eclectic characters and creatures as they do. Based on our first look at the game, fishing will be a particularly involved process in Dreadmoor, as the bait, line material, place where you cast all impact what you reel in. Dreadmoor will be released on Steam in Q4 2026.

Retro enthusiasts will be happy to know that we got another look at Riyo Games’ Threads of Time during the showcase. The latest trailer showed off The Needle, a “timeship” that players use to explore different eras, Chrono Trigger style. They also confirmed that you can prevent the extinction of dinosaurs in the past to see how the creatures evolve in the far future as a result. This turn-based RPG still lacks a release window on PC or Xbox Series X|S.

Metanet Software announced a successor to its N+ series of platformers, which sports the ridiculous name N Plus Infinity Times Two. While the gameplay is similar to previous N+ titles, this one focuses on competitive multiplayer across five modes. There will still be a single-player campaign where players can get a feel for the game’s mechanics, though. N Plus Infinity Times Two will be released in 2027.

Those who like the rubberhose-inspired animation of Mouse: P.I. For Hire should take note of Into the Unwell from She Was Such A Good Horse and Coffee Stain Publishing. It’s a co-op action roguelike that leans into the over-the-top animation style of classic cartoons as they fight and claw their way through a difficult roguelike. Into the Unwell will launch on Steam next year.

One of the most personal games shown off was Paperfrog’s Bub. It’s a love letter to New York City and the personal journeys artists go through. It also reflects one of the developer’s own struggles after they were diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis mid-development. Bub will launch sometime in 2027.

Fans of silly co-op games might want to keep an eye on Lazy River, a new video game from Secret Hitler creator Mike Boxleiter. It takes place in a space water park and tasks players with building a raft and fighting zombies as they make their way along the cosmic lazy river and scavenge for supplies. It’s exactly the kind of quirky co-op game that has been all the rage lately, so keep an eye on Lazy River when it begins early access on Steam in 2027.

2026's Day of the Devs showcase also provided us with another look at Sunset Visitor’s sci-fi game Prove You’re Human. Its segment mainly focused on Mesa, the AI personified by a giant head who believes they’re human. We got a look at the impressive animation and programming work required to make Mesa as expressive as they are, which is critical as Mesa is such an important character in the game. Prove You’re Human is in development for PC and has no release window.

French studio Pixel Hunt debuted Ithaca, a narrative-focused RPG that follows an environmental rights lawyer who decides to drive to Ithaca after kidnapping the boss of a large oil company. From there, players have a lot of narrative-impacting choices to make as they uncover what’s going on. A Kickstarter campaign for Ithica has begun, with Pixel Hunt hoping to release the game sometime in late 2027.

Cresent Moon Games’ Screenbound previously went viral for its clever gameplay conceit, which sees players simultaneously playing a 2D game on a handheld console as they move through a 3D world. At Day of the Devs, we saw both a platformer and a The Legend of Zelda-style adventure game split between 2D and 3D. We also learned that it will launch on September 10 and that a new demo is now on Steam.

Just as Absolum explored what a classic beat ‘em up would be like as a roguelite, Shot One Fighters asks the same question of fighting games. It got a new trailer at Day of the Devs, highlighting the different combos and special moves players can unlock as they play through the game. This game doesn’t have a release window, but its Kickstarter is coming soon.

German developer Happy Broccoli Games revealed Apple Crumble. It’s described as a “creepy, cozy walking sim” in which players must figure out who’s trying to murder their grandma at her 84th birthday party. Apple Crumble will be released on Steam sometime later this year.

Turbo Button, a studio previously known for VR games, announced a new PC and console game featuring Ben Starr. As you can probably tell from the title, you have to slap anything and everything you see to solve puzzles and progress through the game. Slap Out Of It will be released sometime next year.

Playtonic Studios revealed the next Yooka-Laylee game, and it’s not quite what you’d expect. Rather than another platformer, it’s a kart racer clearly inspired by Super Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit that features characters from across the Yooka-Laylee games. It looks like a fun back-to-basics kart racer in comparison to Mario Kart World. Currently, Super Yooka-Laylee Kart is only confirmed for PC and has no release window, although Playtonic announced it will hold online playtests for the game prior to launch.

Polish studio Starward Industries provided another look at Into the Fire, its survival extraction game where players rush into a city decimated by a volcano and demons to search for and save any survivors. Into the Fire is set to enter early access on Steam before the end of 2026, although you can also sign up for pre-release playtests right now on Steam as well.

Frozenbyte revealed Trine 6: Together in Time. It’s the latest in a long-running series of co-op 2D puzzle-platformers set in a fantasy world. If you enjoyed previous games in the series, it looks like this sequel will continue to deliver on that same formula. Trine 6: Together In Time will release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 25.

The final game featured in this June’s Day of the Devs showcase was When Sirens Fall Silent, a new game from Italian developer LKA Studios. This psychological thriller follows a rookie police officer investigating a serial killer, and the game eventually escalates to feature supernatural elements while also addressing serious topics like addiction and human trafficking. When Sirens Fall Silent also features a branching narrative that changes depending on how players solve cases. When Sirens Fall Silent will come out in 2027.

The calendar has turned to June, which means it is now time for the season of game trailers and announcements. We saw PlayStation's State of Play earlier this week, and today Geoff Keighley took the stage for Summer Game Fest Live 2026.
Fortnite, Star Wars: Zero Company, and new racing game Clutch all teased a presence at the show, but other than that, there were not as many direct hints as there have been in previous years. A few games were rumored, and there's the growing specter of Grand Theft Auto VI as the industry careens towards its November release date, but that didn't show up.
You can watch the show above or check out below for a full recap of every announcement shown throughout.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Gets Its First Trailer At Summer Game Fest

The end of a Fortnite Battle Royale season is a bittersweet thing, as we get lots of new toys and and a new battle pass, but we also have to say goodbye to a gameplay meta most of us only just got finally comfortable with. But the worst part is the wait for the new season to start while Fortnite is down for maintenance. Now that the Shattered live event has wrapped up and we've seen the end of the battle between the Ice King and Dwayne "The Foundation" Johnson, Fortnite has gone offline to deploy the Chapter 7 Season 3 update.
Fortunately, the wait shouldn't be too long. Typically, these updates take around 4-7 hours to get ready, and Epic is anticipating about five hours of maintenance time for the Season 3 patch. That would mean the game may come back online around 10 PM PT / 1 AM ET--early enough that folks in Europe will have all day to game, which has rarely been the case with new season launches despite the continent's massive playerbase.
That target time is just an estimate, though, and maintenance might take longer than that. Don't hold it against them if that happens. While you're waiting, you should go ahead and download the game update so you're ready when the time comes, and read our run-down on everything new you can expect when the servers come back up.
When the servers come back online, players will be greeted with a dramatically changed Battle Royale island, which is getting the biggest mid-chapter makeover in Fortnite history. They'll also be able to grind out a new battle pass, featuring a new John Wick skin with his dog as a sidekick, and the return of Dr. Slone.
