"Sure, it takes itself way too seriously and the loot chase can get monotonous, but everything outside of the monster-slaying is just an excuse to get right back to the monster-slaying. Or make the monster-slaying cooler with upgrades," we said in our Atlas Fallen review.
Call of Duty has become an absolute hard drive hog in recent years, with 2023's entry managing to consume over 200GB of storage in some cases. Call of Duty has become an absolute hard drive hog in recent years, with 2023's entry managing to consume over 200GB of storage in some cases. That all might be about to change, however, as Activision has announced major changes to the way it'll be handing installs with this year's Black Ops 6, promising "smaller and more customised downloads" as a result.
Activision shared the news in a post on its Call of Duty blog, explaining its optimisation work will begin with a revamp of "the experience formerly known as Call of Duty HQ". This revamp is set to roll out over the course of several updates ahead of Black Ops 6's October launch, and will promises to introduce a streamlined interface, direct access to games, more control over downloads, and expanded texture streaming technology to reduce file sizes.
A first update to reorganise game content arrives on 21st August. Then, following Black Ops 6's open beta on 30th August, a new user interface and other "remaining updates" are scheduled for mid-October. After these "larger initial updates", Activision says future Call of Duty downloads will decrease in size and existing files will take up less space on players' device.

Terminus Island is one of two maps that'll be available at launch (the other being the West Virginian town of Liberty Falls), and Treyarch calls it "one of the largest round-based Zombies maps ever created". Black Ops 6's Zombies mode takes place in the early 90s - five years after the events of Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode - and Terminus Island serves as a prison for some familiar Requiem faces. After their liberation early at the start of the story, players can explore the prison itself before moving out to investigate its tropical island surroundings.
There's a secret research facility specialising in "weird science" (in case you were wondering where the zombies might spring up from this time), as well as the ocean, and assorted smaller islands - all of which players will visit as part of Terminus' main quest. It's described as a "living world" full of scripted encounters, ranging from zombies smashing out of vats and prison guards still trying to control the undead threat, to less fortunate souls being chomped on.

Microsoft will, of course, be the only major console maker to have at presence at Gamescom 2024; Nintendo confirmed it wouldn't be coming along back in April, saying there would be opportunities for players to try Switch games at other events throughout the year, and PlayStation confirmed a no-show earlier this week. Sony's absence hardly warrants a raised eyebrow, however, given it hasn't showed up since 2019.

Musí si vytvořit vlastní tým zběhlých agentů a naverbovat dvě nové zajímavé postavy Felixe Neumanna, technického génia, a Sevatiho Dumase, tajemného zabijáka.
Omnimovement a aktualizace hry
Společnost Treyarch také výrazně přepracovává základní hratelnost hry Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, a to díky novému systému Omnimovement.
Zombies
Obsah „BlackCell“ včetně — plného Battle Passu s přístupem k více než 100 odměnám, 1 100 okamžitě odemčených bodů COD, 20 úrovní Battle Passu, okamžitě odemčeného exkluzivního obsahu BlackCell a speciálních variant BlackCell skinů operátorů Battle Passu, modrotisků zbraní.
Balíček operátorů Hunters vs. Hunted.
Kolekce zbraní Mastercraft.
Balíček GobbleGum Pack.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 vychází 25.

Black Ops 6 slibuje větší rozmanitost misí, včetně kasina a paláce v iráckých pouštích.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 vychází 25. října na PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One a Xbox Series X/S. Hra bude k dispozici také prostřednictvím služby Game Pass.

What is the best MW2 SMG for Warzone?
For season 3 of Warzone in the Modern Warfare 3 era, the best MW2 SMG is the FSS Hurricane. It was always a decent option, but it's currently able to compete with some of the meta options. No, it's not meta, and certainly won't beat the HRM everyone is using right now. However, it provides consistent and easy accuracy, a fast time-to-kill, and excellent mobility.
If you don't have MW3 guns leveled up, or just want a huge change of pace from all the MW3 weapons, the FSS Hurricane is a good choice. With the newly unlockable JAK Cutthroat stock, it's a whole new gun.
Best FSS Hurricane loadout for Warzone
Building the FSS Hurricane SMG from MW2 for Warzone requires some familiar attachments and one new one. The latest unlockable aftermarket part, the JAK Cutthroat stock is essential for building the gun. Here's the best loadout right now:
Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider Muzzle
Schlager PEQ Box IV Laser
XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop Underbarrel
Sakin ZX Grip Rear Grip
JAK Cutthroat Stock
These attachments provide optimal mobility and decent range for an SMG. The FSS Hurricane is versatile enough to pair with a sniper if you're feeling accurate today. It also has a high headshot multiplayer, so every shot to the head will speed up the time-to-kill quickly, rewarding great aim with fast kills. Try it out and see how it feels.
Interrogating enemies in Call of Duty: Warzone is a useful tactic to locate the enemy team. Like using Caveira in Rainbow Six: Siege, a downed player can be interrogated to reveal their teammates' location. However, right now, the mechanic is causing a game-breaking bug that's probably not worth the risk. Better to hold off and find those enemy locations the old fashioned way.

Interrogating enemies in Call of Duty: Warzone is a useful tactic to locate the enemy team. Interrogating in Warzone can prevent you from swapping weapons
According to a recent post from Call of Duty Updates on Twitter, an issue is under investigation where interrogating downed enemy players can prevent you from swapping weapons. The developer Trello board says the bug is active in Battle Royale, Resurgence, Plunder, and Lockdown game modes. The investigation began on Thursday, March 7.
Until the developers provide an update on the status of this bug, it might be worth not interrogating anyone. Swapping weapons is a rather important ability for many reasons. As such, the few seconds of locating an enemy's teammates probably isn't worth the risk. Especially in Battle Royale, where you can't exactly just die and reset very easily.
In other game modes, like Resurgence, there are better methods of pinging enemies on your radar. For those unaware, killing an enemy in Resurgence game modes automatically pings the rest of their team on your radar for a few seconds. As such, it's incredibly useful for players who move around and hunt for kills a lot. Flying around Fortune's Keep in the castle or another close-quarters map is much easier to survive if you know where your dead enemies' friends are.
