Stellar Blade Blood Rain has just been revealed at Summer Game Fest, with an action-packed new gameplay trailer.
Shift Up has pulled the covers off its highly anticipated sequel to Stellar Blade during Summer Game Fest this evening, with a stunning debut trailer that you can see below. It’s called Stellar Blade Blood Rain.
The developer has spoke about its plans to make a new Stellar Blade game for some time now, although always insisted it wouldn’t be showcased until it reached “a satisfactory quality.” Only last month, the studio added that development of the sequel was progressing smoothly.
Stellar Blade was released for the PS5 in April 2024 and hit the PC in June 2025. On Steam, Stellar Blade achieved more than 100,000 concurrent users, making it one of the most successful PlayStation to PC ports released to date. Shift Up revealed in June 2025 that the game has sold more than three million copies across both formats.

Shift Up made an appearance during today's Summer Game Fest 2026 show, with its follow-up game to Stellar Blade revealed to be Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. While the first game followed Eve, Blood Rain focuses on a new protagonist, Evie, which certainly won't confuse anyone.
