It's finally happening, apparently. After a protracted and extremely tumultusous decade of development, The Wolf Among Us 2 is supposedly now launching next year. And there's a remaster of the much-loved original on the way to tide us over until then.
Telltale Games has released a teaser trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2, confirming the long-awaited sequel will be releasing in 2027.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is finally on the way, alongside a remaster of the original game.
Summer Game Fest has been absolutely packed with announcement, with a brand new trailer for Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us 2 shown off. The trailer shows the return of Bigby Wolf, the protagonist of the series, as he dives into a new mystery. People are dying, a monster is on the loose, and it’s up to Bigby to figure it out. The dark fairy tale is on full display, with the trailer showing Bigby questioning a pig and going toe toe with a metal man that could be the Tin Man.
The road to launch has certainly been a long one. The Wolf Among Us 2 was first announced back in 2017 before being delayed multiple times. When Telltale Games went under in 2018, we all thought the project was dead, but with their resurrection in 2019 brought the game back. We saw it again in 2022, with the occasional trailer along the way, but launch is finally around the corner as The Wolf Among Us 2 is set to launch in 2027.
That’s not all though, as a remaster of the original game has also been revealed, titled The Wolf Among Us Remastered. How important the original will be to the sequel remains to be seen, but the reveals at the end of the game beg to be explored. Those looking to check it out, or dive back in for a refresher, won’t have to wait long, with The Wolf Among Us Remastered launching Holiday 2026.
The Wolf Among Us is heralded as one of the best Telltale games from their heyday, focusing on the events of Fabletown. It takes a number of classic fairy tales and twists them into a dark, noir-style mystery, with Telltale’s trademark choice and consequence based gameplay.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is set to arrive in 2027, with The Wolf Among Us Remastered coming Holiday 2026.
