Nejnovější aktualizace hry Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 od společnosti Insomniac Games je nyní k dispozici a přidává osm nových obleků pro Milese Moralese a Petera Petera.

Čtyři z nich jsou obleky navržené ve spolupráci s KidSuper a celebritami, jako je fotbalista Vini Jr, herec Rina Sawayama a jezdec Formule 1 Lando Norris. Prohlédněte si je v upoutávce níže.

Developer Insomniac Games released its much anticipated New Game Plus update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 yesterday, however it slipped up a tad and also accidentally gave players access to a development menu.

In a social media post soon after the update went live, Insomniac said a hotfix was on the way, as using this menu could corrupt saves and players' trophy progress. "There is no risk associated with playing the game as intended," Insomnia said.

However, despite the studio's efforts, this menu was of course accessed, and players have discovered content that was not in the base game, suggesting it was either cut ahead of release, or may be used later for DLC. Please note, potential spoilers lie below.

Larian's Baldur's Gate 3 leads the 2024 BAFTA Games Awards with 10 nominations, including Best Game, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

BAFTA today released the shortlist of nominees for this year's awards, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 receiving nine nominations, Alan Wake 2 receiving eight nominations, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor both receiving six.

The coveted Best Game will be awarded to either Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Dave the Diver, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, or Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Mary Kenney, associate narrative director at Insomniac Games, has discussed the current online discussion surrounding narrative development and consultancy firm Sweet Baby Inc.

To recap, Sweet Baby Inc. recently became the target of a group which claimed the company was forcing studios it worked with to increase diversity within its games, and accused it of pushing a "woke agenda" into the industry. Following a report into the claims by Kotaku, a number of game developers have spoken up to clear up misconceptions about what companies like Sweet Baby Inc. actually do.

Kenney, who has written for games including Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Telltale's The Walking Dead and the upcoming Marvel's Wolverine, posted a thread on X yesterday. "Some of you don't seem to understand how narrative consulting on games works," she began, "but don't worry: I do!"

Vývojářský režim ladění

Tady je jedna podivnost – tato aktualizace zřejmě omylem zpřístupnila hráčům vývojářský režim ladění Spider-Mana 2. Insomniac varuje, že vstup do ladicího režimu může poškodit uložené soubory, ačkoli normální hraní by nemělo způsobit problém (k aktivaci ladicího režimu je třeba zadat kombinaci tlačítek). Netřeba dodávat, že Insomniac tento průšvih pravděpodobně brzy opraví, ale možná tím otevřeli tak trochu Pandořinu skříňku.

The Symbiote suit in Spider-Man 2 is very cool looking and for sure one of the best new additions to the series. Despite the suit looking so iconic, sometimes looking at the same color might become boring.

Luckily, the game allows you to change the Symbiote Tendril colors quite easily. We will be looking at how you can do that in Spider-Man 2.

How to Change Symbiote Tendril Colors

To change the Symbiote Tendril color, you will need to go to the game’s settings. The game’s settings can be found through the Settings option in the pause menu. You can open up the pause menu using the Options button on your PS5 controller.

Next, you will need to select the Gameplay Settings option. All gameplay-related settings that you can alter can be found here.

Once you are in Gameplay Settings, scroll all the way down and you will find Swing Assists. The Tendril Color option is the last one right at the bottom. You can scroll through the colors and pick the one you like. Just back out from the settings and the color will now be changed.

You can alter this setting whenever you like. So if you don’t like the new color, just go back and change it through the Gameplay Settings.

Spider-Man 2 just got a brand-new New Game Plus Update adding a host of new features, such as the ability to change the time of day.

Ever wanted to free-roam around New York City during the nighttime? Or do you just absolutely love those NYC mornings? No matter your preference, you can make it last forever now!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to set the time of day to whatever you please… in Spider-Man 2, of course.

How to Change Time of Day | New Game Plus Update

Before we begin, you should know that you can only freely change the time of day after you’ve already beaten the main story.

As we mentioned previously, it’s part of the New Game Plus set of features included in the new update.

Most story missions require specific times of the day, too, so that must be why this new feature is limited to being a postgame bonus… though we do wish we could use it anytime!

With all that said, you just need to boot up a completed save file in the game and press Options on your DualSense controller.

In the Pause Menu, scroll down to Settings and select it.

Next, open up the Gameplay settings.

There you have it, Time of Day will now be the topmost option inside of the Gameplay settings menu! It’s right above the Challenge Level setting.

You can freely set the time to any of the following:

• Default – This is the classic mode that changes based on the story.
• Day
• Night
• Morning
• Sunrise
• Sunset
• Dusk
• Overcast

Sadly, we don’t get to control the weather itself much besides setting it to Overcast. It would be great if we could combine weather and time of day settings to have things like rainy nights, but oh well…

Nonetheless, now you know how to change the time of day whenever you wish in Spider-Man 2! Go swing all over New York City at any hour you please.

Hra Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 se stal předvídatelně velkým hitem, ale navzdory tomu se po vydání dočkal překvapivě malého obsahu, kromě obvyklých velkých oprav. Režim New Game+ byl slíben do konce roku 2023, ale nakonec byl odsunut až na rok 2024.

Co přesně bude New Game+ obsahovat, se teprve uvidí, ale brzy bychom měli dostat více informací. Člověk se také diví, proč se to posunulo o zhruba tři měsíce – doufejme, že to znamená více skvělých funkcí pro ty, kteří hru řeší podruhé.

Kromě New Game+ se Insomniac k další podpoře Spider-Mana 2 příliš nevyjádřil, ale nedávné úniky ze Sony naznačily, že v roce 2024 vyjde řada bezplatných DLC, nikoliv nějaký placený season pass. Ty jsem popsal v předchozím článku…

“První z těchto [bezplatných DLC], které je naplánováno na první tři měsíce roku 2024, se jmenuje “Beetle Invasion” a, jak název napovídá, bude se zaměřovat na klasického béčkového Spideyho padoucha Beetlea. Od této aktualizace můžete očekávat novou misi v otevřeném světě a souboj s bossem.

Druhá aktualizace přijde na jaře roku 2024 a jmenuje se “Extreme Carnage”. Vsadím se, že uhodnete, na kterého padoucha se zaměří tato aktualizace! Opět můžete očekávat novou misi a souboj s bossem.

A nakonec se během prázdnin v roce 2024 dočkáme “Spider-Verse Anomaly”, která nabídne misi s příchutí Spider-Verse, padouchy (několik) a několik cameí různých spojenců Spider-Verse. K dispozici bude také vizuální filtr, který dodá celé hře vzhled Spider-Verse.”

Výše uvedené samozřejmě prozatím berte s rezervou. Pokud se tato DLC ještě chystají, zdá se přinejmenším pravděpodobné, že se jejich data vydání posunou.

A beefy update headed to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will add a wardrobe of new suits and unlock a fresh New Game Plus mode for Insomniac's enjoyable superhero adventure.

Available on 7th March, the catchily-titled Update 1.002 will let you carry over your suits and unlocked abilities to a fresh save file, ready for you to play through the game again with a harder difficulty.

Unlocks here will include Ultimate Levels and Golden Gadget styles, new suit styles for Peter's symbiote story suit and custom colours for your symbiote abilities.

We cannot explain to you how grateful we have been for everyone who has picked up Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 over the holiday season. Everyone here at Insomniac Games is proud of the game, and we’re very excited to share details with you about the major title update that will hit your PS5 console on March 7

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 version 1.002 will bring New Game+ to the game. We know many of you have been eager to replay the game on a harder difficulty, with all your suits and abilities carrying over. Or perhaps you want to just replay a favorite mission or two – you can do that, too! And there’s more to unlock – with Ultimate Levels, Golden Gadget styles, and more!

Speaking of styles: we’ve added suit styles for several of Peter’s symbiote story suits in the game, allowing you to further customize your look if you play and unlock them via New Game+ Ultimate Levels. And yes, you’ll be able to set which color your symbiote abilities are as well. But we couldn’t just stop at new styles – we know how much you all love when we add suits with no additional cost to the game. You’re in luck – we’ve brought Marvel’s Hellfire Gala suits to the game for both Peter and Miles. Peter sports the design created by Russell Dauterman, and Miles gets his iconic look from Bernard Chang’s gorgeous Hellfire Gala variant cover for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #8.

And you’ll want to show those looks off as much as possible with our updates to Photo Mode – including action figure mode and stickers. You’ll also be able to change the time of day once you complete the story, allowing you to get all those cool Photo Mode shots with just the right lighting. Make sure you share them with us on social by using the #InsomGamesCommunity hashtag!

This update also contains some major updates for Accessibility. We’ve added Audio Descriptions** and Screen Reader** to the game. We know that these features were highly anticipated, and we’re thankful to the community for giving us a little extra time to ensure they were polished and ready to be released. We also have additional features like Cinematic Captions and High Contrast Outlines, among several new features added to this update.

We’re also excited to announce two new suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that Insomniac Games, Marvel Games, and Gameheads have partnered to create. Early access to the Fly N’ Fresh suits will be available for $4.99. To talk more about our collaboration with Gameheads, I sat down with Malia Atta, Insomniac’s Manager of Culture and Belonging, Damon Packwood, Director of Gameheads, and Eric Monacelli, Senior Director, Product and Franchise Development at Marvel Games for more insight.

What is Gameheads?

Damon Packwood: “We develop diverse talent and bold new voices in gaming, train students for the tech ecosystem and prepare them for college, career and civic life. We serve low-income students, and underrepresented students (ages 15-25) in 15 different states with expansions to Honolulu and Atlanta.  

What is the origin of the Gameheads and Insomniac partnership?

Malia Atta: “Gameheads has been a partner of SIE for many years; however, the partnership with Insomniac Games began when we brought on three apprentices in our Core Technology, People Experience, and Design departments. Each apprentice made meaningful contributions to the game, and we saw an awesome opportunity to support and elevate the Gameheads Mission by asking their artists to design suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.”

That sounds really great – what’s the goal?

Malia Atta: “The partnership benefits both Insomniac and Gameheads by providing our teams with opportunity to mentor, coach, and develop emerging talent who then infuse fresh ideas and energy into our games and culture. This partnership also makes way for more people from different backgrounds to gain access to the industry.

From a bigger picture, Insomniac Games is focused on creating a supportive, vibrant, and diverse environment that reflects our players and communities. We are currently focused on uplifting and amplifying the voices of our devs and allowing them to bring their unique voices and gifts to how we make games.”

Eric Monacelli: “Our creative collaboration with Insomniac values fostering a world of belonging via our characters in our video games. The Gameheads initiative is a real-world manifestation of this. Marvel has always been about reflecting the world outside one’s world authentically, especially in ways that make creative endeavors and Marvel storytelling more accessible, diverse, and inclusive.”

What was the process like collaborating and iterating on the suit designs?

Damon Packwood:  “We had a great time working with (Insomniac artists) Bobby Hernandez, Johnson Truong and Davison Carvalho. We had six of our students creating iterations for the suit and stickers over the summer. The process was pretty professional. Our students went through 1-2 week sprints, showcased their artwork to the Insomniac team, got feedback and after a few weeks we settled on a concept. Once the concept was approved, each of the students picked a different aspect of the suit (shoes, texture, mask, web shooters) and we finalized the suit and the stickers in August.”  

Tell us more about the final Fly N’ Fresh designs:

Damon Packwood: “The inspiration for Miles Morales’ Fresh Suit design was a 90’s b-boy. Peter Parker’s Fly Suit design was inspired by 90s television’. Marisa Diaz, who designed the suits, was just having fun. We never expected Insomniac to like it but it was definitely fun to design. Our designers had fun being silly and the older folks, me and the Insomniac crew, had fun reminiscing on our 90’s fashion choices.”
