Life Is Feudal MMO is back on Steam. I don't exactly remember why it was removed from Steam, but it's back now, and it's no longer buy-to-play. Playing Life Is Feudal MMO now requires a monthly subscription fee. Is this change in the payment system a good idea? I'm not sure, especially considering that Life Is Feudal MMO was never popular to begin with..

As a buy-to-play game, Life Is Feudal MMO only peaked at around 5 thousand players in Steam and, currently, Life Is Feudal MMO is sitting on a Very Negative rating in Steam. Gamers are not happy with Life Is Feudal MMO. Was it because of the subscription based payment system?

According to Steam, I played the game for almost 15 hours. Do I remember anything I did in Life Is Feudal MMO during those 15 hours? No, I don't, but I'm sure I would remember some things about the game if I were to play it again.

Unfortunately, I have zero interest in playing Life Is Feudal MMO again right now, but I might give it another try if the game relaunched as free-to-play. Who knows, it might still happen in the future, especially if this subscription-based system doesn't work out as they planned.

Games coming back after they've 'died,' like Life Is Feudal MMO, is not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone deserves a second chance even games but, coming back with a payment model or system that only works if you are a game called World of Warcraft, is not a good idea specially if it cost $20 freaking US dollars a month.

NZXT, which sells gaming PCs, components, and peripherals, has a subscription program that charges a monthly fee to rent one of its gaming desktops. Subscribers don't own the computers and receive an upgraded rental system every two years.

NZXT's Flex program subscription prices range from $49 to $169 per month, depending on the specs of the system, as you can see below:

There's also a one-time setup and shipping fee for the rentals that totals $50. NZXT says it will "likely" charge subscribers a separate fee if they return the rental without the original box and packaging (NZXT hasn't disclosed how much).

Galaxy Upgrade Program. Pixel Pass. These are just two examples of Android makers attempting to launch their versions of Apples iPhone Upgrade Program, but the worlds biggest companies consistently havent figured out how to do this. Google no longer promotes the Pixel Pass one of the most fleeting initiatives on the Killed by Google list and Samsung only offers the Upgrade Program in some countries.

Former Microsoft senior PR manager Brad Hilderbrand has blogged about the recent closure of Tango Gameworks and Arkane Austin, making a familiar case that Microsoft’s gaming division are now expected “to cut expenses to the bone” in the wake of the wildly expensive acquisition of Activision Blizzard and amid slowing growth of the Game Pass subscription business. In Hilderbrand’s view, Game Pass will likely never be sustainable or profitable. Microsoft’s only chance on this front, he says, is “to put all the world's biggest games on the service” – namely, Call of Duty, which still earns hundreds of millions annually in direct sales, or GTA 6, which, hahahaha.

HP launched a subscription service today that rents people a printer, allots them a specific amount of printed pages, and sends them ink for a monthly fee. HP is framing its service as a way to simplify printing for families and small businesses, but the deal also comes with monitoring and a years-long commitment.

Prices range from $6.99 per month for a plan that includes an HP Envy printer (the current model is the 6020e) and 20 printed pages. The priciest plan includes an HP OfficeJet Pro rental and 700 printed pages for $35.99 per month.

HP says it will provide subscribers with ink deliveries when they're running low and 24/7 support via phone or chat (although it's dubious how much you want to rely on HP support). Support doesn't include on or offsite repairs or part replacements. The subscription's terms of service (TOS) note that the service doesn't cover damage or failure caused by, unsurprisingly, "use of non-HP media supplies and other products" or if you use your printer more than what your plan calls for.
