How to Find Shibuya Crossing in Forza Horizon 6

5. Červen 2026 v 15:32

It’s officially time for week 2 of the Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist, and there are all-new challenges to complete for some useful rewards. Among those challenges is to perform three Awesome Drifts or E-Drift Skills, which isn’t too difficult on its own. However, the tougher part of the challenge requires you to do the drifts at Shibuya Crossing, a location that has proven harder to find than most players think.

Similar to the recent Tokyo Tower Photo Challenge in Forza Horizon 6, you can’t even get started with this particular challenge until you figure out where Shibuya Crossing is located. While you can spend hours driving around Tokyo City looking for this exact location, why not just take a look at the guide below to see where Shibuya Crossing is on the map?

Shibuya Crossing Location In Forza Horizon 6

Just like most landmarks on the Japan map in Forza Horizon 6, Shibuya Crossing is a real location in Tokyo. Soif you’re familiar with the city, you likely already know where to go. However, most of us aren’t geographical experts, so you’ll most likely need some guidance on where to find this tourist attraction.

Fortunately, you don’t have to go too far from the downtown area in Tokyo City to find Shibuya Crossing. Specifically, it’s located just northeast of Tokyo Tower and southeast of the Edogawa Baseball Stadium on your map. Shibuya Crossing is a large intersection that’s just west of Tokyo City Broadway. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a large, white building with an advertisement for Fizi Pop.

If this is your first time visiting Shibuya Crossing, you’ll want to take a picture of it to earn some XP and also take a mental note of where it is, as you’ll need to come back here for various objectives in Forza Horizon 6.

Of course, this isn’t a Photo Challenge, so just taking a picture of Shibuya Crossing isn’t your primary goal. You have to complete three Awesome Drifts or E-Drift Skills, which will require a specific car and possibly special tires to get the job done.

To easily complete the challenge, use your best drifting car and attempt to drift through the wide open intersection of Shibuya Crossing. You want to aim to go from one direction to the other, which isn’t too difficult given that the location has plenty of roads filtering in and out from multiple directions. Once you manage to complete one Awesome Drift or use an E-Drift Skill, you can keep using the same spot until you get all three of them done.

For your efforts, you’ll earn 5,000 CR in Forza Horizon 6, which isn’t a lot, but the challenge isn’t particularly difficult once you know how to find Shibuya Crossing.

A Parent’s Guide to Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 at a glance:

  • Forza Horizon 6 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, with a Content Descriptor for Mild Lyrics.
  • Forza Horizon 6 costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition, but includes in-game purchases.
  • Forza Horizon 6 takes place in an open-world Japan, putting players in the driver’s seat of the Horizon Festival

You may remember, I am a “Car Guy,” so, Forza Horizon 6 is right in my wheelhouse. As a Car Guy, I know all the things; tires, fan belt, hub cap… pretty sure there are some tubes in there somewhere… what have you. But if you’re not a Car Person like me, you may need some more information to decide if Forza Horizon 6 is a good fit for your family.

You’ve come to the right place for tips to help you decide!

Is Forza Horizon 6 Appropriate for Your Kids?

Forza Horizon 6 is rated E for Everyone with a Content Descriptor assigned for Mild Lyrics. There are also Interactive Elements assigned for Users Interact (meaning players can communicate through the game) and In-Game Purchases (which lets consumers know that the game includes the ability to spend real-world currency on in-game content).

According to ESRB’s Rating Summary, “Some accompanying song lyrics contain the words ‘damn’ and ‘hell.’”

The E for Everyone rating signals to parents that the game is like appropriate for all ages from a content perspective. But that does not extend to a game’s minute-to-minute gameplay. Some elements of Forza Horizon 6 may be challenging for younger players, so it’s a good idea to do a little extra research if you’re still curious.

Where Can I Play Forza Horizon 6 and How Much Does It Cost?

Forza Horizon 6 is available on Xbox Series X|S, and PC, starting at $69.99 for the Standard Edition of the game. A PlayStation 5 release is expected to release later in 2026. In addition to the Standard Edition, two more versions of the game are also available:

In addition to purchasing Forza Horizon 6 individually, you and your family can also download it with a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Xbox Game Pass is a tiered service that comes at varied prices offering different features, though the Ultimate tier ($22.99/month) is the only one that provides access to brand new first-party Xbox games. The “Premium” tier promises to add first-party games within the first year after release.  You can find out more about Xbox Game Pass here to make the most appropriate decision for your family.

What is Forza Horizon 6 About?

Like with all Forza Horizon games, you and your kids will be dropped into an open world with the objective of becoming the best racer in the region’s Horizon Festival. Forza Horizon 6 takes place in Japan, complete with in-game representations of big cities like Tokyo, as well as more rural areas.

Four cars are seen bursting through the start of a race in the Horizon Festival.

You and your family will start the game by entering into the Qualifiers for the Horizon Festivals as a no-name tourist. Soon, you’ll progress to the Invitational and finally land in the main Horizon Festival. As you and your kids progress through the story, you’ll earn access to new races, faster cars, new events, and more.

How Does Forza Horizon 6 Play?

Forza Horizon 6 is broken up into two main styles of play: the Campaign and Discover Japan.

Campaign

As a racing game a lot of the core gameplay in the Campaign portion of Forza Horizon 6 revolves around participating in racing events. The parameters of races vary, meaning you’ll have to pick certain cars depending upon whether the event in question is a Dirt, Road, or Cross Country race.

Winning the traditional races allows you and your kids to rise through the ranks, eventually earning access to Wristbands. These are essentially keys to unlock the next phase of the Campaign, complete with more challenging races and events. But they also allow access to more vehicles and customization options through the game. While racing may be the most straightforward way to rank up, there are other methods too.

You may stumble across a stretch of road asking you to drive as fast as you can, or another challenging you and your kids to drift as much as possible on a specific stretch of road. Participating in these more open-ended events not only helps progress to the next Wristband, but also earns earn XP (experience points). With enough XP, you’ll level up and get access to Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins to win credits, cars, cosmetics for your cars and in-game avatar, and more.

Eventually, you and your family will get invited to “Wristband Events” as a challenge to earn the next Wristband and progress through the campaign. Once you earn all seven available Wristbands you’ll be granted the title of Horizon Legend with access to the most challenging races and events in the game.

Two cars are seen drifting down a winding road in the Japanese countryside. Cherry blossom trees and other lush greenery are scattered around the perimeter of the roads.

Discover Japan

Having been to Japan a few years ago, I’ve not gone a single day without wanting to go back. My wife and I fell in love with the food, the vibes, the public transportation, the 7/11 egg salad sandwiches (look it up, it’s a thing!)… everything. That’s a 14-hour flight… not to mention the fact that we’ve since had a child who would probably explode if we subjected him to that amount of travel. So, the prospect of driving around Japan in Forza Horizon 6 as a virtual tourist in a super-fast car is appealing!

The Discover Japan mode removes many or the more prescribed boundaries from the progression of the Campaign, allowing you to lean into a more open-ended experience. Instead of car limitations in races, you’ll be able to drive in whatever your favorite cars are, wherever you please, and earn Stamps.

There are many smaller side-modes that can help you and your family progress to unlock your next Stamp. From collecting cars, to delivering food, to competing is special Street Races… you’ll have the opportunity to really explore however you and your kids want.

You’re not locked into either mode. You and your kids can choose whichever vibes are resonating with you that day.

Keep in mind that Forza Horizon 6 does facilitate online play with others. Fortunately, there are simple parental controls to help manage this! If this is important to you and your family visit ParentalTools.org for step-by-step guides to help you activate parental controls.

How To Make Sure Your Kids Have Video Game Airbags

Safety is important in all things. And while the risks of driving in a car without airbags are far greater than those of playing a video game without any boundaries, there’s no reason not to take advantage of every resource you can make sure those experiences are fun and appropriate. And fortunately, there are a lot of them!

Unsurprisingly, I always recommend checking the ESRB ratings first. The rating information, including Rating Category, Content Descriptors, and Interactive Elements, provide a comprehensive, high-level look at what’s in a game. If you need more information before making a decision, odds are you can find previews, videos, and trailers to answer any lingering questions. In some cases, games also offer demos, which you can play yourself to see if it’s appropriate for your kids.

Forza Horizon 6 also includes the ability to spend real-world currency on cars, emotes, cosmetic items, and more.

Overall, it’s also helpful to have some household rules around video game play. Starting with an ongoing, judgement-free conversation, you can learn what your kids love about video games, and come up with rules that both satisfy their passions while making sure appropriate boundaries in place. This may include time limits for play during the week, how much money they can spend on in-game purchases or new games (if any!), whether they can play online, and more. ESRB’s Family Gaming Guide has some helpful tips, guides, and conversation starters to get the ball rolling on establishing household rules.

Fortunately, you can back these household rules up with parental controls I mentioned earlier. Virtually all devices on which you can play video games also include parental controls settings. With these, you can manage what your kids play based on the ESRB age rating, when and for how long they can play, with whom (if anyone) they can play online, and whether they can spend money on new games or in-game purchases.

Forza Horizon 6 Will Launch With Built-In Anti-Cheat for Leaderboards

20. Únor 2026 v 20:00

Developer Playground Games is truly listening to fans to make Forza Horizon 6 a great experience. In previous games, notably Forza Horizon 4 and 5, cheating your way to the top was a fairly easy thing to do. The leaderboards in both of those games are full of some very questionable times and records, even for trivial stuff like danger signs. To fix, Forza Horizon 6 will implement day one anti-cheat measures, according to the Forza Horizon 6 UK account (confirmed by some developers on Discord).

CHEATS NEVER PREVAIL!

Forza Horizon 6 will have day 1 anti-cheat measures to keep the leaderboards clean!

New Anti-Cheat Measures For Forza Horizon 6

Image via Xbox Game Studios

The developers are going aggressive with the anti-cheat measures, and you can’t blame them for it. To ensure that Forza Horizon 6 is fun and fair for everyone involved, there will be a new rigorous exploit detection system in place. All the open-world leaderboards will reset weekly, and any unrealistic scores on the leaderboards will be removed whenever flagged by the system.

You may be thinking, why would anyone even want to cheat in Forza Horizon in the first place? After all, it’s mostly a game about unlocking more cars and exploring the open world. Unfortunately, some people just can’t be helped, as it’s easy fun for them to jump to the top of the leaderboards.

However, it’s worth noting that while these anti-cheat measures are nice, there’s no official word on whether this will stop modded accounts with unrealistic CR, cars, and max levels. There’s a lot of flexibility on PC, and unfortunately, some of it comes in the form of mods that make the game unfair to other players.

It’s also worth noting that this means that Linux support will likely be limited. This obviously also extends to the Steam Deck. Again, no official word on this yet, but robust anti-cheat measures, such as the ones FH6 is incorporating, usually hurt Linux support.

Forza Horizon 6 releases on May 19, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and on PC via Steam. If you are planning to pre-order it’s worth familiarizing yourself with all of the different editions of the game. Even if you’re planning to play through Xbox Game Pass, it doesn’t hurt to know what the Deluxe or Premium upgrades bring to the table.

Forza Horizon 5: A Love Letter to Cars and Culture

When you play Forza Horizon 5, it’s not just a racing game. You experience a sun-drenched Mexico where you can endlessly explore, while every mile is celebrating car culture. For me, the game is perfect because I have spent countless hours obsessively building my dream garage in Forza Horizon 4. However, the game is not a rehash of familiar roads. There is a special electric feeling that keeps you wanting more.

My custom-liveried car, designed to look rusted and abandoned, is a hilarious mismatch for its S2-class performance.

The Thrill of the Open Road (and Even Off It)

Of course, Forza Horizon 5 is primarily about racing, but the main focus of the game is exploration. The map has humid jungles, arid deserts, sleepy villages, and wild coasts, and every inch of this virtual Mexico is begging you to drive. If you are like me, you will take every opportunity to drive off-road. In the past Horizon titles, when the standard was to buy cheap PS4 games, it always felt that the fastest way to earn points was to stick to the main roads. Here? Not even close. Smash a patch of cacti, throw your car into a riverbed, and charge down a mountain. The more reckless, the better. There is something amazing about skidding to a stop in a dusty cloud, yanking a barn door open, and finding an old car that is just waiting to be restored.

The Pulse of Mexico’s Roads.

There’s something deeply intoxicating about cruising down a sun-drenched highway, the horizon shimmering with the promise of the unknown. Whether you’re drifting through a dense jungle, tearing through arid desert plains, or weaving through cobblestone streets of colorful villages, the world feels alive and personal. It’s not just a map—it’s an experience.

Executing a perfect landing after the airport danger sign, keeping all four wheels tucked in for maximum style points.

The team at Playground Games has designed a Mexico in Forza Horizon 5 that is not only personalized but also vast; a Mexico that has postcard views and a Mexico that has little treasures begging you to stop and appreciate. Every little detail is accounted for, like when you speed through a tropical storm and sunlight reflects off your car and paint, and you appreciate the sunlight. They are extremely chaotic but comforting; a good reminder that natural machines are just as important as the storms and the other machines you are controlling.

A Collector's Dream

Having stored numerous cars and having built a dream car garage in Forza Horizon 4, I Forza Horizon 5 fulfilled my needs in ways I didn't know I needed. I could spend hours in Forza Horizon Vista in the car observation mode just to check the car and interior details. The detailing down to the aggressive lines of the Lambo Huracan and the rich and shiny leather of the Jaguar E-Type is impressive. Some players who buy PS5 racing games enjoy making shifts to their customization settings. Customization is incredibly satisfying. There is nothing quite like the feeling of tuning the handling of a Ford GT to match your every nerve and command.

A brutal sandstorm has rolled in, reducing visibility to zero and forcing me to rely solely on the minimap's racing line.

While the interaction with the simulated car is satisfying, it also experiences the most refined and improved car interaction. The driving experience has improved with a greater connection to the road and the vehicle being driven. There is a single spot for every driving experience that can be achieved by a driver, whether the driver is a casual driver or more serious.

The new Horizon Arcade mode replaces the structured Forzathon Live events and offers a more organic and untamed multiplayer experience. It’s not flawless—some events in Forza Horizon 4 are more memorable—but the variety is enough to keep things interesting. There are plenty of high-speed sprints to salt flats and plenty of designed technical tracks to urban centers of the country.

The Essence of Mexico

However, the finest thing about Forza Horizon 5 is the Mexican culture it represents. Most certainly, the main story missions, even when they are somewhat cheesy to partake in, narrate deeper stories about the culture. One of the more memorable moments involved a barn find of a venerable Volkswagen Beetle, forked in a race, that the finder restored to its former glory. There was personal history in the story beyond the car, and plenty of rich culture and people.

Glancing at the map not for the road, but to see the live position of a "Forzathon Live" event starting at the festival site.

Cars, Cars, and More Cars

Each car has a personality, like a McLaren 720S that begs to be driven at top speed, or a Baja Bug that is unstoppable in the dunes. Customization is unbelievable. I have spent—actual hours—doing liveries, tweaking suspension, and adjusting power-to-weight ratio. While the design tools are complex, the designers made them user-friendly to the point where they can save you from getting frustrated. My favorite moment? Creating a custom paint job for a classic Mustang and then watching it shine while I jumped off a ramp going 120 mph.

The Auction House

Collecting cars is not as simple as racing through the campaign. You can collect the rare cars, but it will take some work. You can enter the auctions where people are able to sell the cars they no longer want. While this isn’t new to the series, it has a better flow here. You can have the thrill of sniping a rare car at the last moment, then flipping the car for a profit.

My team is losing the Trial, so I've parked my truck sideways on the final stretch to block the Unbeatable AI drivatars.

Word of advice: Most players who buy PS5 games already have mission-earned cars, so their value drops quickly. If making money is your goal, go after cars that are rare and in demand. You shouldn’t miss the thrill of a great deal either. Like the adrenaline rush I get from racing, finding a great deal, like a Porsche 959 in great condition for a small percentage of the real price, is a racing thrill unlike any other.

A Couple of Bumps in the Road

While the Forza Horizon series is spectacular, this one definitely has flaws. The Horizon Challenges can feel somewhat monotonous, and while the game provides you with what seems like an excessive amount of events to pick from, I found myself wishing for a little more organized flow. There are only so many times one can sprint from point A to point B and not feel bored.

The engine note of my off-road buggy is hilariously loud as I putter through the serene streets of a small coastal town.

While connecting with your pals is simple, it can feel painstaking when a whole party is trying to compete in coop races and their game progress doesn’t match up. However, the feeling of unity when you and your buddies are driving all over and conquering the land definitely redeems it.

Conclusion

There is no need to reinvent the wheel on Forza Horizon 5, and it simply doesn’t need to.  If you have even a casual interest in racing or cars, the open-world gameplay, authentic car culture, and attention to detail in craftsmanship will make it a game you simply have to experience. Playing Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 is amazing. The light and chrome of the supercars and the dust of the off-road trucks are in sync with the changing weather. I find myself stopping mid-race to take in the stunning scenery, be it the neon festival or the waterfall.
