This game mixes role-play and strategy, with battles that can only be won by sharpening your mind and improving your skills. You will have to be very careful during the battle. Plan the best strategy to finish off all your rivals in as few turns as possible. Remember to collect the rewards that will be left by the defeated enemies, so you can improve your inventory and make Einar powerful enough to recover the Eternal Return.

The mechanics of the game are similar to card games. Fights are turn-based combats on a grid of 9 squares where you can move to attack in the most appropriate order and direction, as if it was a small puzzle. As the game progresses, you will have to take into account more and more factors: the weaknesses of your enemies, your magic points, the number of times you can switch weapons, etc.
