It's finally happening, apparently. After a protracted and extremely tumultusous decade of development, The Wolf Among Us 2 is supposedly now launching next year. And there's a remaster of the much-loved original on the way to tide us over until then.
Telltale Games has released a teaser trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2, confirming the long-awaited sequel will be releasing in 2027.
Check out the trailer below.
In addition to the trailer above, Telltale Games also announced that The Wolf Among Us Remastered is launching in Fall 2026. More details as we get them.
About an hour ago, the official Among Us animated show appeared on Paramount+. It has 10 episodes and stars Randall Park, Elijah Wood, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Patton Oswalt.
The show remains up at the time of writing, and all 10 episodes are available to Paramount+ subscribers. It appeared on the streaming service without warning or any prior announcement, outside of its first teaser from June 8, 2024. This led many to believe that it was supposed to be confirmed and shadow-dropped during this evening’s Summer Games Fest, which is to take place around two hours from now.
Among Us‘ synopsis tells us of a spaceship crew beset by the evil Impostor, who “turns every task into a game of suspicion and sabotage.” We haven’t yet seen any of the episodes, but given their descriptions, we can expect a lot of familiar situations and events from multiplayer matches of the game itself to be reenacted. The first episode, for example, is set in The Skeld, with two crewmembers touring it “before disaster strikes.”
The third episode has the first Emergency Meeting, i.e., crewmates gathering together to vote on who gets ejected or labeled as the Impostor.
All familiar stuff to anyone who’s played the game.
I won’t spoil it further to not ruin any surprises, but whoever is responsible for putting this out early should’ve thought of that instead of me. But, hey, I’m here to safeguard you from spoilers, don’t you worry.
Innersloth has revealed Among Us Story On Guard, a single-player spin-off to the hit social deduction game.
Among Us Story On Guard looks to have a new art direction, going more for a vector art style, giving you a crime to solve, other crewmates to talk to and interrogate, vents to crawl through in first person, and more.
Here’s the trailer’s blurb: “A new standalone game from Innersloth, set in the Among Us universe. Live life as a Crewmate in this dangerous narrative adventure through space. As Guard, you’re in charge of shipwide security and everything is fine. Until there’s a MURDER?! Prove your innocence before the Impostor gets to the rest of the crew… and you.”
Set aboard the MIRA R&D vessel, you’re tasked with taking on the new Crewmate training program, stepping into the role of Guard and becoming in charge of shipwide security. On the off-chance that a murder does happen, you’ll need to first prove your innocence and then find the imposter before they can get the rest of the crew. You’ll still need to complete tasks, though.
Someone on board is an Imposter though, and maybe more than one. The crew includes
Operator: That’s you! Help MIRA with their new Crewmate training program as you navigate life as Guard.
Management: Your lovable, caring, committed, always-approachable boss who might have written this description.
Guard: A hard-boiled private eye you control as part of the simulation. Cynical and suspicious – exactly who you need in charge of shipwide security.
Cook: Sweet, innocent, kind, and just a few days from retirement. Definitely not about to get murdered by an Impostor…
Scientist: Always going on about plants and science and stuff. Just be careful they don’t talk you… to death!
Engineer: Wrote a long bullet-pointed summary of their skills and responsibilities , but we didn’t read it.
Doctor: When not working, they’re a streamer. (Sometimes even when they are working, they’re a streamer.)
Captain: Not really into confrontation, but they are into care-frontation! <3
