Early this morning, Rockstar Games announced that they would be re-releasing their 2010 Wild West action-adventure game, Red Dead Redemption to a modern era which includes the Nintendo Switch. The game is the predecessor to 2018’s Red Dead Redemption 2. The story follows a former outlaw, named John Marston who must travel the American West and Mexico to eliminate the last of an infamous gang of outlaws in order to save his family.
Alongside the main campaign, the zombie-filled story expansion, Undead Nightmare is also included. It should be noted that online multiplayer is not included. This re-release will be handled by Double Eleven Studios, a studio which has been credited as support on many games including Switch games like Minecraft Dungeons and Songbringer.
Red Dead Redemption will be releasing for Nintendo Switch on August 17 at the price of $49.99. The physical release will be arriving on October 13. It will be the third game from Rockstar Games to hit the Nintendo Switch, following 2021’s GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition and 2017’s L.A. Noire.

Now, publisher Take-Two has given further comment on the lack of Grand Theft Auto 6-related PC news, stating Rockstar would "make more announcements in due time".
During an interview at a TD Cowen conference (as transcribed by VGC), Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said "the lack of an announcement is not something that could be set in stone as near as I could tell, because the only thing that happens after the lack of an announcement is an announcement, I suppose, or a continuing lack of an announcement, I guess that could happen too. „Nedostatek oznámení není něco, co by se dalo vytesat do kamene, protože jediná věc, která se stane po nedostatku oznámení, je oznámení, předpokládám, nebo pokračující nedostatek oznámení, myslím, že to se může stát také,“ řekl Zelnick (přepis přes VGC). „Nezdá se mi, že by jedno nebo druhé bylo vytesáno do kamene.
„Ale Rockstar má k platformám přístup, který jsme viděli už dříve, a další oznámení učiní v pravý čas. As unearthed by Tez2 and shared on social media, Rockstar has today updated its PC launcher site file with a series of new "marketing strings", which, as Tez2 notes, is "the same way Rockstar promotes GTAV". The revealing bit of text here, not publicly visible on Rockstar's launcher at present, is listed under the header "RDR_ProductPromotion_Intro_Body" and reads, "Journey across the sprawling American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare - now playable on PC."

"I threw some HTML on there, took the copy they sent me - didn't know back then that it was called copy - and put it all together." For System Shock 2, the only visual she was given was a picture of Shodan's face. In a new filing, Take-Two said it expects to incur between $160m and $200m in total charges as a result of this restructuring program, with $120m to $140m related to title cancellations.
Additionally, it said approximately $25m to $35m will be associated with employee severance and employee-related costs, while approximately $15m to $25m will be related to office space reductions.

O hře Grand Theft Auto 6 se toho zatím moc neví, protože společnost Rockstar Games dosud vydala pouze jeden filmový trailer, který zběžně představil Vice City a hlavní postavy hry, Jasona a Lucii. Už jen z tohoto traileru je však zřejmé, že hra bude patřit mezi nejlépe vypadající hry s otevřeným světem současné generace konzolí, protože četná srovnání zdůraznila, jak pokročile vypadá vizuální stránka hry ve srovnání s vizuální stránkou hry Red Dead Redemption 2, která i po letech od svého vydání vypadá úchvatně.
Grand Theft Auto 6 je v současné době ve vývoji pro PlayStation 5 a Xbox řady X|S. Verze pro PC zatím nebyla oznámena, ale není pochyb o tom, že další díl série bude nakonec přenesen na PC, vzhledem k tomu, že GTA V i Red Dead Redemption 2 vyšly na PC nějakou dobu po svém konzolovém debutu.
Ještě před oznámením hry se objevily zprávy, že Grand Theft Auto 6 bude mít dva hlavní hrdiny v podobě Lucie a Jasona, kteří jsou inspirováni skutečnou dvojicí lupičů Bonnie a Clyde, a přestože se oficiální oznamovací trailer hry zaměřoval především na Lucii, mohli jsme se podívat i na jejího parťáka ve zločinu.

„Říká jediné slovo!“ Baker řekl. „Říká ‚důvěra‘. Právě to je lekce o vnímání – lidé přemýšlejí a automaticky předpokládají. Chci, aby ten člověk, ať už je to kdokoli, získal uznání za svou práci, protože jsem si jistý, že bude skvělá.“
Samotná společnost Rockstar Games do této chvíle neposkytla žádné oficiální informace o obsazení do hry Grand Theft Auto 6. Vlastně ani Jasonovo jméno ještě nebylo oficiálně potvrzeno – což znamená, že může chvíli trvat, než dostaneme úplné odpovědi na naše otázky.
Vydání hry Grand Theft Auto 6 je naplánováno na rok 2025 pro konzole PS5 a Xbox řady X/S. Objevily se náznaky, že hře hrozí odklad na rok 2026, ale podle novějších zpráv jsou tyto obavy „přehnané“.

Sandercock joined in the middle of one such crunch period, and wanted to make life a little easier for her exhausted colleagues. "Everyone looked so miserable after literally years of hard work & crunch," she wrote on Twitter in 2018. "So late one night after work I baked 2 cakes for the office. I sent out a mass email & we all took 30 minutes to eat cake and talk." Sandercock began hosting weekly "Cake Days", baking a fresh batch in her own time to share around the office.
Rockstar were unimpressed, however. They thought Cake Day was evidence of poor productivity and, according to Sandercock, badgered Team Bondi leadership into forcing her to only share cake during official lunch hours. "Apparently the higher ups thought our entire office slacked off ALL the time because we had cake once a week," Sandercock wrote. She herself was told "that I was jeopardising my career". Sandercock hasn't let the demise of Cake Day cramp her creative interest in food, however. In fact, she's found a way to combine baking with game design. Sandercock is now the author of Edible Games, a book of recipes and instructions for concocting games out of food, and food out of games.
